E-1 Merci, frère. Bonsoir, amis chrétiens. Et un bonsoir spécial à ces ministres qui se sont tenus debout en guise de salut. Que le Seigneur vous bénisse, mes frères. Je suis à cent pour cent avec vous pour cet Evangile aussi.
Et notre frère Moore vient de me dire qu’il y en a environ deux cents d’entre eux ici, rien que des prédicateurs de l’Evangile, ce soir. Que Dieu vous bénisse, mes frères et soeurs. Que le Seigneur fasse briller Sa grâce sur vous et qu’Il vous donne infiniment au-delà de tout ce que vous pouvez faire ou penser; c’est ma prière.
Celle-ci est la soirée où nous nous rassemblons pour clôturer cette série de réunions, ce qui est toujours un moment triste, et pourtant un moment béni. Il se produit généralement plus de guérisons la dernière soirée que toutes les autres soirées mises ensemble.

And our Brother Moore just told me, some approximately two hundred of them in here of just Gospel preachers tonight. God bless you, my brothers and sisters. And may the Lord ever make His grace to shine upon you and give you the exceedingly abundantly above all that you could do or think, is my prayer.
This is the night when we gather together for the closing of a meeting, which is always a sad time, yet a blessful time. It's usually more healing done the last night, than there is all the rest the nights put together.

E-2 Et pendant que nous chantions, il y a quelques instants, ce glorieux ancien cantique: Crois seulement, tout est possible, crois seulement, je pensais à ce–à ce... au compositeur de ce cantique, Paul Rader. Combien ont donc connu Paul Rader? Y a-t-il quelqu’un qui connaît Paul Rader? Assurément, un homme merveilleux.
Il n’y a pas longtemps, j’étais dans son... là même où il avait composé ce cantique, et cela passait sur les–les ondes d’éther: Crois seulement; alors, je me suis souvenu de Paul.
Je vais vous dire quoi. Je suis plutôt capricieux. Et quand j’ai entendu cela, et sachant que Paul Rader s’était peut-être assis dans ce même fauteuil pendant qu’il composait Crois seulement, puis on m’a présenté à l’estrade, oh! je ne pouvais simplement pas m’empêcher de pleurer. Simplement je–je... Quelque Chose a simplement saisi mon coeur.
Paul Rader, je me suis souvenu que quand il se mourait là en Californie, des commentaires qu’il avait faits... Il a dit à un ami vraiment personnel à moi, qui est un copain intime, il a dit: «Frère, si j’avais apporté mon message de grâce aux pentecôtistes très chauds plutôt que de venir ici faire ce que j’ai fait, je serais de loin mieux aujourd’hui.» C’est vrai. J’ai dit amen à cela. Oui, oui.
| E-2 And when we're singing that glorious old song awhile ago, "Only Believe, All Things Are Possible, Only Believe," I was thinking of that--of that, who wrote that song--Paul Rader. How many ever knew Paul Rader? Is anybody know Paul Rader? Sure, a wonderful man.
Not long ago I was standing in his, in the very place where he wrote the song, and it was coming in over the--the ether waves of "Only Believe," and I was thinking of Paul.
I tell you. I'm kind of a temperamental person. And when I heard that, and know that Paul Rader, perhaps, set on that same chair when he wrote "Only Believe," and they was introducing me to the platform, oh, I just couldn't keep from crying. I--I just... Something just gripped down in my heart.
Paul Rader, I was thinking when he died here in California, the remarks he made. He told a very personal friend of mine, who's a bosom chum; he said, "Brother, if I'd have sold my message of grace to the red hot Pentecostals, instead of coming over here doing what I did, I'd been better off today." That's right. I say, "Amen" to that. Yes, sir.

I told him, I said, "Brother Jack, I never come here as your competitor, I come here as your brother."
He said, "Well, I wondered what you been doing down there."
And said, "Just shoveling wood."
He said, "That's fine."
I said, "Well, Brother Schuller, I'm... My ministry's more to pray for the sick."
He said, "Stay with it, Brother Branham."
I said, "I... Us Pentecostal people..."
He said, "I'm Pentecostal too." He said, "What is a Pentecostal person, Brother Branham?" Says, "It's a fellow that's a orthodox Methodist, got a whole lot of Spirit about him." That--that's pretty good. That's about right.

Elle a été amenée à la réunion, et elle a été parfaitement guérie.»
Il a dit qu’il avait fait monter cette personne droit là à l’estrade et il a dit: «La voici, et je ne veux plus entendre des critiques sur frère Branham.» C’était réglé. C’était tout. Eh bien, c’était tout. Oui.
Frères, il y en a beaucoup là dans ces dénominations, qui sont avec nous de tout coeur. C’est vrai.
| E-4 He said when he was in Fort Wayne, said, "As soon as I got there..." Of course some of the dry starchies, you know, had something to say after my meeting.
He said, "The brethren..." Brother Billings and them of the temple there, he was backing up my meeting where I was at. He said, "They went out there and got a girl that was a perfect maniac. She was insane, in and out of the institutions. They'd put her in a house, and she'd jump through the windows. She jumped through a two story window once, out from a two story, and fell into the yard and hurt herself: perfectly insane, knowed nothing, or nothing, was brought to the meeting and made perfectly whole."
Said he brought that person right up to the platform and said, "Here she is, and I don't want to hear any more criticism about Brother Branham." That settled it. That was all. Well, that was all. Yes.
Brethren, there's a whole lot of them out there in those denominations with us in heart. That's right.

J’ai dit: «Qu’utilisez-vous comme appâts, un steak d’aloyau?»
Il a dit: «Non.»
J’ai dit: «Qu’utilisez-vous?» J’ai dit: «Des vers?»
Il a dit: «Les aimez-vous?»
J’ai dit: «Non.»
Il a dit: «Qu’utilisez-vous pour pêcher?»
J’ai dit: «C’est ce à quoi les poissons mordent.»
Il a dit: «C’est ce que je pensais.»
Il a dit: «Frère Branham, c’est pareil avec votre ministère. Quand vous venez en ville, les gens s’attendent à ce que vous priiez pour les malades.» Il a dit: «Quand je viens en ville, ils s’attendent aux saynètes.» Il a dit: «Non pas que nous voulions faire cela, mais c’est notre ministère.»

He said, "Brother Branham," said, "no doubt a lot of people talk about your Divine healing, praying for the sick." He said, "They talk about me in dramatizing," said... He told me I could pass this on, so I will.
He said, not long ago till somebody said, "Jack, why don't you quit all that there dramatizing, all that carrying on like that, and just preach Christ and let it go?"
He said, "Are you a fisherman?"
Said, "Yes."
Said, "What do you use for bait, t-bone steak?"
Said, "No."
Said, "What do you use?" Said, "worms?" He said, "Do you like them?"
Said, "No."
Said, "What do you fish with them for?"
Said, "That's what the fish bite on."
He said, "That's what I thought."
Said, "Brother Branham, that's the way with your ministry. When you come to town, people expect you to pray for the sick." Said, "When I come to town, they look for the drama." Said, "Not because we want to do it, but that's our ministry." That's right. Let's stay with it till Jesus comes. That's right. Just stay right with it. Amen.

E-6 Or, pour cette série de réunions, j’ai été à Phoenix. Je pense que c’est la troisième ou la quatrième fois que j’ai tenu des réunions à Phoenix. Mais je dis ceci du fond de mon coeur: Ceci a été l’un des moments les plus agréables que j’aie jamais passés à Phoenix. C’est vrai.
Mon fils venait de me rencontrer... Et frère Sharrit est venu me prendre le soir et m’a ramené. Billy m’a rencontré ici à la porte, il m’a fait entrer. Et frère...?... arriver, nous étions en train de parler, Billy m’a rencontré là, et il a dit... J’ai dit: «Eh bien, fils, qu’en est-il de...?»
Il était... avait une petite sacoche en main. Il a dit: «On vous a donné une offrande d’amour, papa.» J’aimerais vous remercier.
J’ai dit: «Qu’en est-il de l’offrande, est-ce le...?...» Tout a été payé totalement, et il est resté quelque chose qui sera affecté au champ missionnaire. Que Dieu bénisse vos âmes vaillantes. Au mieux de ma connaissance, je ferais de tout mon mieux avec cela pour l’édification du Royaume de Dieu. Tous mes remerciements, et que Dieu vous bénisse richement, et qu’Il vous récompense au centuple pour tout ce que vous avez fait.
| E-6 Now, to this meeting. I've been to Phoenix; I think, this is three or four times I've had services in Phoenix. But I say this from the depths of my heart: This has been one of the most pleasant times I've ever stayed in Phoenix. That's right.
My boy just met me... And Brother Sharritt come and gets me at night and brings me up. Billy meets me here at the door, brings me on in. And Brother...?... coming down, we were talking, Billy met me there, and he said...
I said, "Well, son, what about...?" He was--had a little satchel in his hand, said, "They've give you a love offering, dad." I want to thank you.
I said, "What about the offering, is the...?" Everything is paid up clear, and they had some left over to go into the missionary. God bless your gallant souls. To the best of my knowledge, I'll do the best that I can with it to the up-building of the Kingdom of God. Thank you kindly, and may God richly bless you, and repay you a hundredfold for all that you have did.

E-7 Ainsi donc, il ne restera pas de dettes dans cette ville, et autres, tout aura été payé. Et notre offrande missionnaire, il y a quelques centaines de dollars, quoi que ce fût, ce qui était resté des autres sera directement versé dans les offrandes missionnaires. Cela ira dans l’oeuvre outre-mer, et je sais que cela vous fera plaisir de le savoir, que... Et dans mon offrande d’amour, quel que soit le montant, deux ou trois cents dollars, quand j’arriverai chez moi, ou je ne sais combien ça sera, je vais... Ce que j’ai comme dettes, je payerai cela, et cela sera directement affecté à une autre réunion. Et ce qui restera sera directement affecté au champ missionnaire à l’étranger. C’est tout à fait vrai, et Dieu sait que c’est la vérité. Je remercie chacun de vous.
J’aimerais complimenter mes frères et soeurs qui ont parrainé cette série de réunions, aussi pour la collaboration de ces pasteurs qui sont venus et qui ont marqué non seulement leur présence, mais ont consacré leur temps et leur coeur à la réunion. Vous avez été merveilleux, mes chers frères et soeurs. Et si jamais nous ne nous rencontrons pas de ce côté-ci de la rivière, nous nous rencontrerons de l’autre côté.
J’espère que je peux bientôt revenir à Phoenix pour une série de réunions plus longue. Il y a une chose dont nous avons besoin ici à Phoenix, c’est soit un très grand auditorium de huit ou dix mille places assises, soit apporter une tente; c’est la meilleure chose, et alors nous resterons jusqu’à la fin. | E-7 And then, won't be no debts left in this city, and so forth, everything will be clear. And our missionary offering, and a couple of hundred dollars, whatever it was, left over out of the other, will be placed right into the missionary offering. It'll all go overseas work, which I know you'd be pleased with that to know that that... And in my love offering, whatever it'll be, two or three hundred dollars, when I get home, or whatever it may be, I'll... What debts I have, I'll pay it, and go right into another meeting. And what's left over of that will go right straight into foreign missions. That's exactly the truth, and God knows that to be true. I thank every one of you.
I want to pay a salute to my brethren and sisters, the sponsors of this meeting, and the cooperation of these pastors who's come and put not only their presence, but their time and their heart in the meeting. You've been wonderful, my dear brothers and sisters. And if we never meet again this side the river, we'll meet at the other side.
I trust that soon I can return to Phoenix for a longer meeting. There's one thing we need here in Phoenix, is either a great, big auditorium, seat eight or ten thousand people, or bring a tent; that's the best, and then stay till it's over. That's right. E-8 Maintenant, aux laïques qui... Nous ne pouvons pas avoir une église si nous n’avons pas de laïques. Vous savez, le pasteur ne peut pas tout faire. Il faut des membres dans l’église.
Chacun de vous a apporté un soutien à cette série de réunions avec votre argent. Vous avez supporté cela par la prière. Et ce soir, si le programme s’exécute normalement... Deux petites femmes qui s’étaient cachées pendant ces huit jours de réunions, elles jeûnaient et priaient pour cette réunion. C’est l’une des raisons pour lesquelles cela a été un succès. C’est vrai. Et puisse... J’espère qu’elles sont ici ce soir. Cela m’a été rapporté par une très bonne autorité, je crois que c’est authentique. Je vous apprécie donc, soeurs, et je vous apprécie, non seulement elles, mais les autres qui ont jeûné et prié aussi, me soutenant avec votre merveilleuse foi en Jésus-Christ.
Oh! Quand je me tiens au milieu d’un groupe comme celui-ci, avec ce mur de foi tout autour, on n’a pas peur. Je peux vous dire cela. Il y a Quelque Chose qui se tient juste à côté de vous et qui vous fait savoir que Quelque Chose est avec vous.
Et alors, quant à s’accommoder de cette vieille prédication sassafras qu’est la mienne, c’est un... Je ne suis pas un–je ne suis pas un fameux prédicateur, mais vous avez même supporté cela; ainsi, je–je vous remercie. C’est beaucoup de grâce. Je vous apprécie beaucoup. J’aimerais vous remercier, tout un chacun.
| E-8 Now, to the laity, that... We can't have a church, 'less we got the laity. You know, the pastor can't do it all. It's got to take some members in the church.
Each one of you has helped support this meeting with your finance. You have support it with prayer. And tonight, if schedule worked out regularly... Two little women that's been hid away in these eight days in the meeting, has been fasting and praying for this meeting. That's one of the reasons that it was a success. That's right. And may... I trust that they're here tonight. That was told to me by pretty good authority, which I believe is authentic. So I appreciate you sisters, and I appreciate you, not only them, but others who've been fasting and praying too, and backing me up with your wonderful faith in Jesus Christ.
Oh, when I stand around a group like that and that wall of faith around, you don't get scared. I can tell you that. There's Something just stands right by you and makes you know that Something's with you.
And then, for putting up with that old sassafras preaching of mine, it's a... I'm not a--much of a preacher, but you even rallied at it, so I--I thank you. That's a lot of grace. I appreciate you very much. I want to thank you, each and every one.

E-9 Maintenant, à un autre, ce frère Bower ici. Je ne le connaissais pas très bien, jamais, mais je ne le connais que de nom. C’est lui qui m’a appelé. Je l’ai entendu au petit-déjeuner des ministres l’autre matin, je l’ai entendu parler pour la première fois. Outre qu’il est chrétien, il est diplomate. C’est vrai. C’est un bon frère.
Non seulement cela, mais j’ai rencontré d’autres frères et soeurs là qui sont vraiment des hommes et des femmes consacrés à Dieu, la colonne vertébrale même et le coeur de Phoenix. C’est vrai.
Frère Shuler a dit qu’au cours de ces trois semaines, je pense, il avait eu cinq cents personnes qui ont accepté Christ. Je ne sais combien nous avons eus ici. Ainsi, nous pensons que, quand nous quitterons tous ce soir, Phoenix sera de loin meilleur grâce à toute votre collaboration avec nous dans ces réunions d’évangélisation qui se tiennent ici à Phoenix.
Si Jésus venait, il y aurait au moins mille personnes qui iraient, ceux qui ne seraient pas partis. Ainsi, nous remercions le Seigneur. Des dollars et des centimes ne pourraient jamais valoir ces âmes, n’est-ce pas? Jamais, jamais. Et Dieu nous bénira et nous continuerons à venir plus que nous ne l’avons fait au commencement. Maintenant, que le Seigneur soit avec vous.
| E-9 Now, to another, this Brother Bower here. I never knew him very well, but just by his name. He's one who called me. I heard him at the ministerial breakfast the other morning, heard him speaking for the first time. And besides a Christian, he's a diplomat. That's right. He's a fine brother.
Not only that, but I met other brothers and sisters there who are real consecrated men and women of God, the very backbone and heart of Phoenix. That's right.
Brother Schuller said in these three weeks, I think, he'd had five hundred accept Christ. I don't know how many we've had here. So, we believe, when we both leave tonight, that Phoenix will be better off because of your all's cooperation with us in these evangelistic meetings that's been going on in Phoenix.
If Jesus would come along, they'd be at least a thousand people going where would not have went otherwise. So we thank the Lord. Dollars and cents could never count those souls, could they? Never, never. And God will bless us and live right on, as we have of more than we did have in the beginning. Now, the Lord be with you.

Beaucoup parmi vous ne le connaissent peut-être pas. Ce petit homme qui se tient derrière n’a rien à dire, il est... Je ne voulais pas dire un petit homme. Ces frères m’ont corrigé. Il pèse environ deux cent vingt livres [99,7 kg]. Et il est... Et moi, je l’appelle un petit homme; pouvez-vous vous imaginer cela?
Oh! Je veux dire qu’il est aussi humble qu’un enfant, c’est vraiment un très bon gars. Et sa vieille mère grisonnante, et elle, et sa femme et ses enfants, nous les saluons avec un respect que seul un chrétien peut témoigner. Que la paix soit dans leur foyer dès maintenant et à jamais. Ils nous ont bien hébergés et nous ont accordé le meilleur qui puisse être donné et... Oh! la la! Je ne peux pas exprimer le sentiment que nous éprouvons envers la famille Sharrit. Que Dieu les bénisse, qu’Il leur accorde une longue vie.

The little fellow that stands back has nothing to say, he's... I didn't mean a little fellow. Them brethren's corrected me. He weighs about two-twenty. And he's... And me call him a little fellow, could you imagine that?
Oh, I mean he's just as humble as a baby, just a very fine fellow. And his dear old, gray-headed mother, and her, and his wife and his children, we salute them with a respect that only a Christian can do. Peace be unto their home from now on. They take us right in and give us the best that can be done and... Oh, my. I just can't express how we feel about the Sharritt family. God bless them, give them long lives.

E-11 Et beaucoup parmi vous connaissent John Sharrit, comment il est devenu ce qu’il est maintenant, grâce à l’humilité de son coeur. Quand un ministre était venu ici... Et John Sharrit possédait une toute petite cabane comme maison. Et ce ministre n’avait rien. Le Seigneur lui a dit de donner cette maison à cet homme, c’est tout ce qu’il avait. Et il a pris sa femme et leurs habits (au mieux de ma connaissance, là), il a quitté et il est allé quelque part; et il l’a placée dans un garage, et ils ont habité là dans un... s’occupant des bâtiments de quelqu’un et tout là-bas, comme loyer du lieu. Il travaillait là, et il a dû emprunter à quelqu’un là dans la ville assez d’argent pour commencer une affaire, et vous savez ce que Dieu a fait pour lui. Et il ne s’est jamais enflé. Il est simplement le même vieux frère Sharrit qu’il était il y a longtemps.
Eh bien, je ne sais pas... J’espère qu’il ne se fâchera pas contre moi pour avoir dit cela. Mais il n’y a pas longtemps, cet homme était dans les rues de la ville en train de vendre des pommes à un centime la pièce, pour prendre soin d’une mère veuve. Que Dieu bénisse son âme vaillante, et qu’il vive longtemps. C’est vrai. Et maintenant, il prend soin de beaucoup de mères veuves. Toutes celles qui viennent, il les place quelque part et il prend soin d’elles. Que Dieu les bénisse.
| E-11 And many of you know John Sharritt, how he come to be what he is now, because of humility in his heart. When a minister come here and John Sharritt owned a little bitty cabin of a house. And this minister had nothing; the Lord told him to give that house to the man, all he had. And he took his wife and their clothes (the best of my knowledge, now), and left and went up somewhere; and put her in a garage, and lived up there in a--taking care of somebody's buildings and things up there, for the rent of the place. Working down here, and had to borrow enough money to go into business from somebody here in town, and you know what God has done for him. And he's never got his head swelled up. He's just the same dear old Brother Sharritt he used to be a long time ago.
Now, I don't know... I hope he don't get angry with me for saying that. But not long ago, that man was on the streets of the city selling apples, a nickel apiece, to take care of a widowed mother. God bless his gallant soul, and may he live long. That's right. And now, he's taking care of a lot of widowed mothers. Every one that comes in, he will put them somewhere and take care of them. God bless them.

Et c’est comme ça que nous nous sentons à ce sujet, chacun de nous. Quelqu’un qui s’intéresse à notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ, nous nous intéressons à son bien-être (Est-ce vrai?), car il est notre frère. Maintenant, nous–nous prions que Dieu bénisse tout le monde.

I never heard of the man. I guess he knows nothing about us, but yet with that courtesy, we say, "God bless, Mr. Blakely, and may his service stations ever remain." Amen. There's not one thing... He never asked me to say one word. He never asked anything to be said. I just feel that way about it. That's right. And that's the way we feel about it, every one of us. Somebody who's interested in our Lord Jesus Christ, we're interested in his welfare. Is that right? 'Cause he's our brother. Now, we---we pray that God will bless all.

E-16 Maintenant, j’aimerais d’abord lire les Ecritures qui se trouvent là dans le Livre des Actes, et ensuite... ce qui se trouve dans Actes, chapitre 2, verset 22. Mais si vous prenez note de ceci, et que vous croyez de tout votre coeur... Maintenant, faites-en donc quelque chose de fondamental. Vous voyez? C’est ce que vous voyez notre Seigneur Jésus... Ce n’est pas un homme. Voyez?
Et vous êtes assis parmi les fines fleurs de la moisson, des chrétiens. Voyez? Vous êtes juste là où toutes les prières montent, dans l’assistance, là même, alors que le Seigneur agit sur les gens ici. Eh bien, c’est la–la chose même qui accomplit la guérison, n’est-ce pas? | E-16 Now, in the Scriptures found over here in the Book of Acts, I want to read first, and then, found in Acts the 2nd chapter and the 22nd verse. Now, I'm just going to read and give testimony. And tonight, I'm going to spend all my time in a prayer line, praying for the sick. You... I want to call just as many across the platform as I can, and see what our Lord Jesus will do for us. I been in prayer the last few hours, asking God what to do and how to do it. And I want, if God will hear my prayer, may there not be one feeble person in this building when it's left.
I wish there was some way that I could... We used to have the old fast line where we'd call people, the crowd through. I don't know. Some of them think that's still good, but it crowds the people up, and so forth. It is a personal contact; that is right.
But if you'll just take this to note, and believe with all your heart... Now, just make it fundamentally fact. See? That what you see our Lord Jesus... it isn't a man. See?
And you're sitting amongst the cream of the crop of Christians. See? And you're right down where all the prayers are going up out there, right there, when the Lord here moves over the people. Why, that's the--the very thing that does the healing, isn't it? It's the very essence of healing.

Who was he saying that? Jesus of Nazareth, God approved him by what? Signs, wonders, and miracles.

Pour moi ce n’est pas d’un homme que je reçois le témoignage; mais je dis ceci, afin que vous soyez sauvés.
Jean était la lampe qui brûle et qui luit, et vous avez voulu vous réjouir une heure à sa lumière. (A la lumière de qui? La lumière de Jean. La lumière qu’il apportait, vous avez voulu vous en réjouir. Ecoutez.)
Moi, j’ai un témoignage plus grand que celui de Jean; car les oeuvres que le Père m’a donné d’accomplir, ces oeuvres mêmes que je fais, témoignent de moi que c’est le Père qui m’a envoyé. (C’est Dieu qui Le confirme. Ecoutez.)
Et le Père qui m’a envoyé a rendu lui-même témoignage de moi...
| E-18 Now, I'm going to read what Jesus said in Saint John 5 beginning with the 33rd verse.
Ye sent unto John, and he bare witness of the truth.
Want you to notice now, catch these words close, the reading of this Word. Just before this, he said in the 30th chapter, "I can't..." 30th verse, rather.
I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge:... (See)
All praise given to the Father. Now, he said you think of John and he bare record of the truth.
For I receive not testimony from man: but these things that I say, that you might be saved.
He was a burning and a shining light: and you were willing for a season to rejoice in his light. (In whose light? John's light. What light he was bringing, you were willing to rejoice. Listen.)
But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given unto me to finish, the same works that I do, bare witness of me, that the Father hath sent me. (God's a vindication of Him. Listen.)
And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me...

Maintenant nous savons que tu sais toutes choses, et que nous savons que... et que tu n’as pas besoin que personne t’interroge; c’est pourquoi nous croyons que tu es sorti de Dieu.
Ecoutez. Du fait que Jésus connaissait ces choses et qu’Il leur en avait parlé, ils ont dit: «Maintenant, Tu parles de façon que nous puissions comprendre.»
| E-19 Now, in the... John the 16th chapter, I want to read some more, beginning with the 28th verse.
His disciples said unto him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb.
(Here's where I want you to get to now.) Now we are sure that thou knowest all things, and that know... and needest not that any man should seek thee: by this we believe that thou comest forth from God.
Listen. Because Jesus knew these things and spoke them to the people, they said, "Now, you're speaking where we can understand."

E-20 Il connaissait ce qu’était le péché de la femme. Il savait où était le poisson qui avait une pièce d’argent dans la bouche. Quand Philippe était venu, ou plutôt Nathanaël, Il connaissait qu’il avait été sous un arbre, en train de prier, avant que Philippe le trouvât. Il a dit: «C’est pourquoi...» Ce n’est pas un proverbe. Il a dit: «C’est pourquoi nous croyons que Tu es sorti de Dieu.» Considérez Jésus, au verset 31:

| E-20 He knew what the woman's sin was. He knew where a fish had a coin in its mouth. When Philip coming over, or Nathanael, He knew where he was at under a tree, praying before Philip found him. He said, "By this..." That's no proverb. He said, "By this we believe that you come out from God."
Look at Jesus, the 31st verse:
Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe?
May the Lord add His blessing to His Word.

E-21 Puis-je dire ceci comme notre Seigneur l’a dit: «Vous croyez maintenant? Croyez-vous maintenant que la Parole de Dieu a été prêchée? Les malades ont été guéris. Des signes et des prodiges de la puissance surnaturelle qui a agi dans l’auditoire, accomplissant des choses qui dépassent tout entendement de l’esprit humain, Jésus-Christ se manifestant dans Sa résurrection, le même hier, aujourd’hui et éternellement, connaissant les pensées des gens, un voyant en fait... Non seulement cela, mais des âmes ont été sauvées et remplies du Saint-Esprit, en confirmation de la Parole.
Toutes ces choses ensemble, croyez-vous maintenant? Croyez-vous qu’Il est ressuscité des morts et qu’Il vit au milieu de nous ce soir, le même hier, aujourd’hui et éternellement? Croyez-vous maintenant qu’Il ne fait acception de personne? Il guérit les Espagnols; Il guérit les Blancs; Il guérit les Indiens. Il montre des visions en rapport avec les Espagnols, les Blancs, les Indiens, ceux à qui Il peut parler dans leur langue, ceux qui ont une espèce de langue, et ceux qui en ont une autre.
Ainsi, Dieu est Dieu au-dessus de chaque personne, de chaque couleur, de chaque race, de chaque langue. Il est Dieu, Il est ressuscité des morts, Il vit au milieu de nous, Il ne fait acception de personne, ni d’un homme ni d’une femme, mais tous sont un en Jésus-Christ. Oh! C’est beau, n’est-ce pas?
| E-21 May I say this as our Lord said it, "Do you now believe? Do you now, that God's Word been preached? The sick has been made well. Signs and wonders of supernatural power has moved through the audience, performing things that's beyond any comprehension of the human mind, Jesus Christ proving Himself in the resurrection--the same, yesterday, today, and forever, knowing the thoughts of the people, a seer indeed. Not only that, but souls has been saved and filled with the Holy Spirit, conformation of the Word.
All these things together, do you now believe, believe that He has risen from the dead, and living among us tonight, the same yesterday, today, and forever? Do you now believe that He's not a respect of person? He heals the Spanish; He heals the white; He heals the Indian. He shows visions to the Spanish, to the white, to the Indian, to those who He can speak their language, those who has another kind of language, and those who has another language.
So God is God over every person, every color, every race, every language; He's God, raised from the dead, living among us, no respect of person, neither male or female, but all one in Christ Jesus. Oh, isn't that lovely?

E-22 Tenez, ce soir, je dis ceci par la foi. Par la foi, je crois ce soir que vous verrez visiblement dans cet auditoire l’action du Saint-Esprit qui était sur Jésus-Christ, accomplissant des signes et des prodiges, sans aucun doute, le même Saint-Esprit accomplissant la même chose.
Maintenant, quand Jésus était ici sur terre, Il ne prétendait pas être un guérisseur. Il ne prétendait pas être une grande personne. Il a dit: «Je ne peux rien faire de Moi-même.» Est-ce vrai? «Je ne fais que ce que le Père Me montre. Ce que Je vois faire au Père, Je le fais aussi pareillement.» Est-ce vrai?
| E-22 Here tonight, by faith I say this. By faith I believe tonight that you'll see visibly, in this audience, the moving of the same Holy Spirit that was on Jesus Christ, showing signs and wonders, without a doubt, the same Holy Spirit doing the same thing.
Now, when Jesus was here on earth, He did not claim to be a healer. He didn't claim to be a great person. He said, "Of Myself I can do nothing." Is that right? "I only do what the Father shows Me to do. What I see the Father doing, that I do also." Is that right?

E-23 Maintenant, aucun prophète et aucun... personne, même pas le Seigneur Jésus, jamais, à aucun moment, a jamais accompli un miracle ou fait quelque chose sans que Dieu le Lui ait d’abord montré ou averti de faire cela.
Considérez le grand prophète Elie. Quelqu’un est venu il n’y a pas longtemps... Quelqu’un m’avait critiqué dans un journal. Et ce... Un homme qui était avec moi a dit: «Frère Branham, j’irai là maudire ce journal-là.»
J’ai dit: «Ô frère, Jésus a dit: ‘Je ne suis point venu pour détruire les gens. Je suis venu pour sauver les gens.» Ils critiquent, mais c’est en ordre. Cela ne me blesse pas. C’est la meilleure attraction que j’aie. C’est vrai.
J’ai toute cette publicité gratuitement, et nous n’avons pas à payer pour cela. En effet, l’argent que nous aurions dépensé pour cela, nous l’envoyons aux missionnaires outre-mer. Donc, voyez, cela ne blesse pas. C’est bien. Tout le monde vient voir tout ce qu’il en est de tout ce problème. Nous recevons donc cela gratuitement. Ils me font donc simplement une faveur sans le savoir. Voyez?
| E-23 Now, no prophet and no... No one, even the Lord Jesus never, at any time, ever performed a miracle or done anything without first God showing or advising them to do it.
Look at the great prophet Elijah. Someone come not long ago... Someone had criticized me in the paper. And that... A man that was with me said, "Brother Branham, I'd go out there and put a curse on that paper."
I said, "Oh, Brother." Jesus said, "I never come to destroy people. I come to save people." They criticize, but that's all right. That don't hurt me. That's the best drawing card I got. That's right.
I get all that publicity free, and we don't have to pay for it. For what money we'd pay for that, we take it over to the missionaries overseas. So, see, that don't hurt. That's good. Everybody come out to see what all the trouble's about. Then we get it free. So they just do a favor not knowing it. See?

E-24 Mais il a dit: «Nous avons besoin d’un autre Elie qui viendra sur le mont Carmel et dira: ‘Maintenant, je vous défie de venir ici.’»

Quand Elie a invoqué là en ce jour-là sur le mont Carmel, il a disposé ces choses ensemble, il s’est avancé là et a dit: «Seigneur, j’ai fait tout ceci par Ta Parole.» Est-ce vrai? Assurément, vous tous. Voyez? «Par Ta Parole...»
| E-24 But he said, "We need another ELijah who'll come out on Mount Carmel and said, 'Now, I dare you to come out here.'"
I said, "Whoa. Wait just a minute, brother."
Said, "Elijah never waited for no vision. Only thing he did is go there and do it."
I said, "I beg your pardon, brother. You're a scholar, but you're a long ways off the track right there."
When Elijah called out there on the day at Mount Carmel, he laid those things together, and walked out there, and he said, "Lord, I have did all this at Your Word." Is that right? Sure, all of you. See? "At Your Word..."

E-25 Jésus a dit: «Je ne peux rien faire de Moi-même, mais Je ne fais que ce que Je vois faire au Père. Je fais la même chose qu’Il me montre.» Est-ce vrai? Saint Jean 5.19: «Le Père agit jusqu’à présent, Moi aussi, J’agis.»
En d’autres termes, toujours dans le surnaturel. Et aucune chair ne peut se glorifier dans la Présence de Dieu. Ainsi, nous attendons simplement. Eh bien, certains hommes n’ont pas de visions. D’autres procèdent par une inspiration du pressentiment. Le Saint-Esprit dit à un pasteur: «Va à cette autre église là», même s’il ne reçoit pas d’argent là-bas, mais ils sont dans le besoin. «Je te veux là.» Il n’attend pas une vision, parce que ce n’est pas là son ministère. Il va simplement là, et Dieu obtient le même résultat que par une vision. Pensez-y. Très bien. D’autres procèdent autrement. Mais tout ensemble, c’est l’oeuvre du Saint-Esprit. Que le Seigneur vous bénisse.
| E-25 Jesus said, "I can do nothing of Myself, but what I see the Father doing. I do the same thing He shows Me." Is that right? Saint John 5:19: "So the Father worketh, I worketh hitherto."
In other word, always in the supernatural. And no flesh can glory in the Presence of God. So we just wait. Now, some men don't see visions. Some goes by inspiration of presentment. The Holy Spirit say to a pastor, "Move to this other church over here," though he don't get the money over there, but they're in need. "I want you over there." He don't wait for a vision, because that's not his ministry. He just goes over there, and God gets as much as it being a vision. Think. All right. Others go by something else. But all together is the working of the Holy Spirit. The Lord bless you.

E-26 Maintenant, écoutez, chrétiens, mes chers petits enfants en Christ, mes bien-aimés, je déteste vous quitter ce soir. Honnêtement, je le regrette. Je n’ai pas à le dire, mais vraiment j’aurais voulu avoir encore quelques semaines à Phoenix. Mais je–j’ai mes réunions bien programmées, on est simplement poussé un jour ici, un jour là, et un jour... comme cela.
Ainsi, je dois me dépêcher aussi vite que possible pour rentrer chez moi, et partir directement. Quand je rentre, si rien ne se passe en un matin, je commence directement cet après-midi-là. Voyez? Ainsi, au commencement de chaque prochain jour... Priez donc pour moi; allez-vous le faire? Et, peut-être, je ne vous reverrai plus, je pense, jusqu’à ce que je revienne d’outre-mer. Mais maintenant, il se peut que ce soit dans le but peut-être de raconter cette vision. Je vous ai promis que je le ferais. Je l’ai écrit quelque part ici dans la Bible.
| E-26 Now, look Christian, my dear little children in Christ, my lovely ones, I hate to leave you tonight. Honest, I do. I don't have to say that, but I really wish that I had a couple more weeks in Phoenix. But I--I just got my meetings so set, just pushing a day here and a day there, a day... like that.
So I've just got to hurry, just as quick as I can get home, and start right off. When I get in, if nothing happens, on one morning and start right off that afternoon. See? So at the beginning of the very next day... So, you pray for me, will you? And, perhaps, I won't see you no more, I guess, until I come back from overseas. But now maybe it's maybe to tell that vision, I promised you I would. I've got it written here in the Bible.

E-27 Et voici ce qui se passera: L’Ange du Seigneur qui est venu vers moi et qui m’a dit de retourner en Afrique... Et Il m’a placé là en Afrique et m’a montré une série de réunions plus grandes que celles qui avaient eu lieu la première fois.
Alors, pendant que je me tenais là, un autre Ange est descendu du Ciel. Il portait on dirait un habit rouge. Mais Il était au-dessus de moi, Il–Il m’a tourné vers l’Est. Et j’ai vu tous les Africains là. Les Africains sont robustes, d’une forte constitution, mais ceux-ci étaient des gens minces, on dirait qu’ils étaient drapés, on dirait, d’une–une couverture relevée en haut et rembourrée, comme ceci. Je n’arrivais à identifier personne. Mais, oh! ils étaient plus nombreux que ces Africains.
Alors, cet Ange au-dessus de moi s’est transformé en une très grande Lumière éclairante et s’est mis à montrer derrière, comme cela. Et tout aussi loin que je pouvais voir, il n’y avait que des gens. Et il y en avait là sur des collines et dans des vallées. Et ils ressemblaient aux Indiens. Et alors, quand cet Ange au-dessus de moi a parlé à l’Ange qui est toujours avec moi, à côté de ce grand Homme au teint plutôt basané, avec des cheveux qui Lui retombaient sur les épaules, les bras croisés, Il se tenait là à mes côtés.
Je L’ai entendu dire à Celui qui se tenait à côté de moi, d’une voix si forte que cela m’a fait sortir de la vision, Il a dit: «Il y en a trois cents mille à cette réunion.» Notez-le, car c’est AINSI DIT LE SEIGNEUR. Sa Parole s’accomplit.
| E-27 And here's what will take place: The Angel of the Lord which come to me and told me to return to Africa... And He set me down in Africa and showed me a greater meeting than was there at the first time.
Then while I was standing there, while another Angel come down from the heavens. He looked like some sort of a red like garment. But He was above me, and He--He turned me to the east. And I seen all the African people here. The African people are sturdy, heavy built, but these were thin-like people, looked like they had a--like a--a blanket around them, and it had been pulled up and stuffed down like this. And I couldn't recognize any. But oh, there were so many more than they was of these African people.
And this Angel, above me, turned on a great big operating light, and begin to show back, like that. And just as far as I could see, was nothing but people. And it was up over hills and valleys. And they looked like Indians. And then when this Angel above me spoke to the Angel that's always with me, up side the big fellow, kind of dark complected, hair down to His shoulders, folded His arms, He was standing here by my side.
I heard Him tell this One standing by me, and the Voice was so strong that it broke me out of the vision, said, "There's three hundred thousand of those in that meeting." Mark that down, for it's THUS SAITH THE LORD. His Word comes to pass.

E-28 Quand l’archevêque de l’Inde est venu chez moi, récemment, et qu’Il a reçu le baptême du Saint-Esprit, l’archevêque Palai, il a dit: «Frère Branham, à voir comment on vous attend là... (Cela veut donc dire les convertis.), il a dit: «Je vous assure, il y en aura partout, un demi-million de gens dans votre assemblée.» Il a dit: «Toute l’Inde attend.»

Nous allons en Afrique, en Inde, en Palestine, au Luxembourg, à Francfort, puis nous retournons à Londres et, enfin, nous retournons chez nous; et puis nous irons là au Sud, en Australie, en Nouvelle Zélande, et puis là-bas. Eh bien, peut-être, il se peut que j’aie l’occasion de vous voir après mon retour d’outre-mer.
| E-28 When the archbishop of India came to my place, recently, and received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, Archbishop Palai, he said, "Brother Branham, the way they're looking for you there, so that meant converts." Said, "I'll assure you, there'll be anywhere from a half to a million people in your congregation." He said, "All India's awaiting."
And with this vision to back it up, watch what our Lord will do. See? I'm expecting a half a million converts in my journey. We go to Africa, to India, to Palestine, to Luxembourg, and Frankfurt, back to London, and then back home; and then down in South--Australia, New Zealand, and down in there. Now, perhaps, maybe I'll get to see you after I come back from overseas.

E-29 J’aimerais vous poser une question maintenant. Quand le–quand le chemin s’assombrit en Afrique et en Inde... Rappelez-vous, quand on arrive en Inde, les gens croient simplement tout. Des ouvriers dans des rues, toutes sortes de choses. C’était pareil en Afrique. N’allez pas penser que ces sorciers ne vont pas me défier. Ils le feront assurément.
Mais je n’ai jamais vu un moment, même quand une demi-douzaine se tenaient devant moi à la fois, où Jésus-Christ, le Fils de Dieu, ait manqué de venir avec puissance. Amen. Je n’ai jamais été effrayé, jamais de ma vie, parce que je sais que c’est Lui qui m’a envoyé. C’est à Lui de prendre soin de moi. C’est vrai. Voyez?
Et quand le chemin devient sombre là-bas, je peux fermer les yeux et me souvenir que dans cette belle vallée ensoleillée de Phoenix, j’ai des milliers de gens qui prient pour moi. Et je–je me sentirai en sécurité grâce à vos prières qui m’environnent. Et que Dieu soit avec vous.
Si certains parmi vous doivent s’en aller dans la Gloire avant que nous nous rencontrions, que Dieu soit avec vous. Je vous rencontrerai là par la grâce de Dieu, en ce grand jour où nous n’aurons plus à prier pour les malades, ni à prêcher l’Evangile; nous serons en train de chanter les louanges de l’Agneau. Que Dieu vous bénisse.
| E-29 I want to ask you now. When the--when the way grows dark in Africa and India... Remember, when you go to India, just believe anything. Street workers, all kinds of things, it was the same way in Africa. Don't you think those witch doctors won't challenge me. They sure will.
But I have never seen a time, when a half a dozen stand before me at one time, but what Jesus Christ, the Son of God, come in power. Amen. I've never been scared, never in my life, because I know that He was the One Who sent me. It's up to Him to take care of me. That's right. See?
And when the way's getting dark over there, I'll close my eyes and remember that through this beautiful sunshine valley of Phoenix, I've got thousands of people praying for me. And I--I'll feel secure that your prayers are wrapping me up. And may God be with you.
If some of you have to slip off to glory 'fore we meet again, God be with you. I'll meet you there by God's grace, at that great day where we won't be praying for the sick, or neither preaching the Gospel; we'll be shouting the praises of the Lamb. God bless you.

E-30 Maintenant, j’aimerais prier, et prier pour ces mouchoirs. Notre Bienveillant Père céleste, alors que nous sommes assemblés ici dans cette salle pour une réunion d’adieu à cette campagne, ô Grand Jéhovah Dieu, nous Te remercions pour chaque âme qui a été sauvée. Nous Te remercions pour tout celui à qui Tu as donné le Saint-Esprit; pour ceux qui ont renouvelé leurs voeux. Nous Te remercions pour chaque guérison que Tu as accordée aux gens.
Voyant leurs témoignages affluer par lettre depuis le début de la semaine, après leur retour chez eux, ils ont constaté que des tumeurs avaient disparu, des cancers avaient disparu, et les médecins les ont déclarés guéris. Nous sommes si reconnaissants, Père. Et puisse chaque personne qui a même franchi les portes de cette campagne, puisse chacun d’eux être guéri. Accorde-le, Seigneur.
Et maintenant, je Te prie de nous bénir ensemble ce soir dans cette réunion de clôture. Que la puissance de résurrection de Jésus-Christ repose sur Ton humble serviteur, que les gens prennent garde et reconnaissent que je leur ai dit la vérité, et qu’ils croient grâce à cela.
Bénis ces mouchoirs, Père, alors que je pose les mains dessus, pour des nécessiteux. Regarde simplement ici. Viens, Seigneur Jésus, et fais-nous sortir de cette maison de pestiférés. Ô Dieu, que Tes miséricordes soient sur ces gens. Certains d’entre eux sont–sont des Indiens, peut-être; d’autres, des Espagnols; d’autres, des Blancs; d’autres, des gens de couleur. Ô Dieu, où qu’ils soient, qui qu’ils soient, c’est–c’est Ton peuple.
Je Te prie de délivrer chacun d’eux. Que Ta grâce et Tes bénédictions... Et si j’ai trouvé grâce à Tes yeux, exauce ma prière, ô Dieu. Et je Te prie, du plus profond de ma sincérité, de guérir chaque personne que ces mouchoirs toucheront. Accorde-le, Seigneur. Puisse cela être accompli pour la gloire de Dieu, au Nom de Son Fils, Jésus-Christ. Amen.
Et dans ce petit tas entremêlé, s’il arrive que certains parmi eux ne reçoivent pas leurs mouchoirs, écrivez-moi simplement et je vous en enverrai un. Que Dieu vous bénisse.
| E-30 Now, I want to pray, and pray for these handkerchiefs. Our kind Heavenly Father, as we have gathered here in this building for the farewell meeting of this campaign, O, great Jehovah God, we thank Thee for every soul that was saved. We thank Thee for every one You give the Holy Spirit to; them that renewed their vow. We thank Thee for every healing that You give to the people.
Seeing their testimonies come in by letter from the beginning of the week, after they'd went home, find out that tumors are missing, cancers have come up gone, the doctors pronounce them well. We're so thankful, Father. And may every one that's even entered the doors of the campaign, may every one of them be healed. Grant it, Lord.
And now, I pray that You'll bless us together tonight in the closing of this meeting. And may the power of the resurrection of Jesus Christ rest upon Your humble servant, that the people might take heed and know that I have told them the truth, and by this they will believe.
Bless these handkerchiefs, Father, as I lay hands upon them, needy people. Just looky here. Come, Lord Jesus, and take us out of this pesthouse. O God, let Thy mercies be with these people. Some of them are--are Indians, perhaps, some Spanish, some white, some colored. O God, wherever they are, whoever they are, they're Your people.
I pray that You'll deliver every one of them. May Thy grace and blessings... And if I have found favor in Your sight, answer my pray, God. And I pray with the deepest of sincerity that You'll heal every person these handkerchiefs touch. Grant it, Lord. May it be done for God's glory, in the Name of His Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Juste un petit témoignage. Si vous avez remarqué, je n’ai pas donné un seul témoignage depuis que je suis ici, parce que j’ai gardé tout cela dans la prédication de la Parole. Quand monsieur Baxter et l’organisateur sont parfois avec moi, ce sont eux qui prêchent, et moi, je viens juste et je témoigne.
Or, généralement, quand on est oint, on quitte la maison avec cet Esprit sur soi, quand on arrive et qu’on se met à prêcher, alors tout d’un coup, vous savez, on a une autre attitude. Eh bien, encore une fois, cela fait plutôt un peu obstacle à la réunion, pour cette partie-là. Mais pourtant, j’ai apprécié l’occasion de vous parler.
| E-31 Now, just a testimony so we can start... I want to call just as many as I can to the platform. I've got about ten minutes now, till time to call them.
Just a little testimony... If you've noticed, I haven't give one testimony since I've been here, because I've kept it all in preaching of the Word. When Mr. Baxter and the management sometime is with me, they do the preaching, and I just come in and testify.
Now, usually when you're anointed, leaving home with that Spirit on you, when you come in and go to preaching, then the first thing you know you're in a different attitude. Now, then again, that kind of hinders the meeting a little bit, as far as that part. But yet, I've appreciated the opportunity to speak to you.

E-32 Maintenant, j’aimerais un peu donner un témoignage. Plusieurs milliers de témoignages... Oh! la la! Comment... Si je me tenais ici même pendant les trois prochaines semaines, à cette estrade, cinq heures par jour, je pourrais toujours être en train de témoigner sur ce que j’ai vu notre Seigneur Jésus faire. C’est vrai.
De... Des miracles pratiquement incroyables, comment Dieu a accompli de si grandes choses. Non pas moi, là, c’est Dieu qui a accompli. Voyez? Personne ne peut accomplir ces miracles. Jésus ne pouvait pas les faire Lui-même, si ce n’est que quand Dieu Lui faisait connaître comment le faire et quoi faire. Or, Dieu était en Lui. C’était Dieu qui accomplissait l’oeuvre. Eh bien, remarquez.
Mais maintenant, j’aimerais donner un petit témoignage, je ne sais par où commencer. Je me demande un peu... je repasse dans mon esprit quoi dire. Eh bien, en voici un. Et alors, d’ici quelques instants, nous percevrons l’atmosphère qui règne dans la réunion, alors nous allons appeler les gens pour la ligne de prière.
Et voulez-vous ce soir, avec l’aide de Dieu, me promettre que vous allez placer toute la foi possible là au Calvaire ce soir pour votre guérison? Faites cela.
| E-32 Now, I want to kinda give a testimony... many thousands of testimonies... My, how... If I would stand right here for the next three weeks in this platform, five hours a day, I could still be testifying of what I seen our Lord Jesus do. That's right.
Of... Incredible almost, miracles, how that God has performed such great things. Not me, now, how God has performed. See? There's no man that can perform these miracles. Jesus could not do them Hisself, only as God let Him know how to do it and what to do. Now, God was in Him. God was the One Who done the work. Now, notice.
But now, I want to give a little testimony, don't know what to start on. I'm kind of wondering--passing through my mind what to say. Well, here's one. And then just a few moments, we get feel of the meeting, then we're going to call for the prayer line.
And will you, tonight, by God's help, promise me that you're going to throw every speck of faith you can right into the Calvary tonight, for your healing? Do that.

E-33 Eh bien, je viens de quitter Chicago il y a quelques semaines, et je rentrais à la maison. Et comme j’étais très fatigué, je n’arrivais guère à me lever. Et chez moi, que leur coeur soit béni, les gens viennent... On ne peut pas les renvoyer après qu’on est arrivé là. Ainsi, on–on doit simplement servir ces...?...
Nous n’avons pas mangé une seule fois chez nous (Nous vivons là depuis cinq ans) avec les rideaux tirés. C’est vrai.
Ma femme, je pense qu’on l’a présentée ici ce soir; on allait aussi le faire. Elle a trente-quatre ans et elle est presque complètement grisonnante, comme vous le remarquez. S’il y a un quelconque mérite à attribuer à la famille Branham, il ne me revient pas, attribuez-le-lui. C’est elle qui s’est tenue entre moi et la porte, aidant les gens, faisant tout ce que nous pouvons. Que ton coeur soit béni! Que Dieu lui accorde une portion dans–dans le Royaume de Dieu.
Seulement... Un prédicateur peut à peine se rendre compte de ce par quoi passe la femme d’un prédicateur. Vous le savez, frère. Je suis si content de ce que Dieu nous donne une aide. Pas vous? Oui, oui.
Un homme qui a une bonne femme loyale devrait être si fidèle et loyal envers elle. Et celle qui a un bon mari devrait faire de même. Considérez le monde aujourd’hui et le chaos dans lequel il est.
| E-33 Now, I just left Chicago a few weeks, and I come home. And being so tired, I could hardly get up. And at home, bless their heart, the people come... You can't turn them down after you get there. So you just--you just have to minister to those...?...
We haven't eaten one time in our house, (We've been living five years) with the shades up. That's right.
My wife, I guess they introduced her tonight here; they was going too. She's thirty-four years old and almost completely gray, as you notice. If there's any credit to be given to the Branham family, it doesn't come to me, give it to her. She's the one who stood between me and the door, helping the people, doing all that we can. Bless your heart, may God give her a piece in--in the Kingdom of God.
Only... A preacher can hardly realize what a preacher's wife goes through. You know it, brother. I'm so glad God give us a helpmate. Aren't you? Yes, sir.
A man that's got a good loyal wife ought to be so true and loyal to her. And she that's got a good husband ought to be the same way. Look at the world today and how it is in chaos.

E-34 Alors, quand nous... j’étais revenu à la maison, je suis allé chez un vieil ami du nom de George Wright, là sur le chemin de la campagne où la petite Georgie Carter... Et vous avez vu cela dans le livre, évidemment, son témoignage personnel. La personne la plus mince que j’aie jamais vue, même plus mince que Florence Nightingale, quand elle a été guérie. Mais Georgie, en fait, était une petite femme pour commencer; elle ne pesait qu’environ trente-cinq livres [15,8 kg]. Vous avez entendu son témoignage. Elle était restée couchée là neuf ans et huit mois, et elle n’avait jamais quitté son lit.
Et une heure après cela, elle était dans la cour en train de louer, de sauter, de crier, de rendre gloire à Dieu. Elle est ma pianiste à l’église baptiste de Milltown, dans l’Indiana, ce soir. Elle n’a plus jamais été alitée, si ce n’est pour dormir la nuit depuis lors. Elle était couchée là neuf ans et huit mois, elle n’arrivait même pas à bouger, elle ne pouvait même pas soulever son crachoir pour y cracher. Ses membres, ici au niveau de ses hanches, n’étaient pas plus que ça, cette grosseur. Si vous aviez vu ce squelette sortir du lit et aller dans la cour s’asseoir et bénir les feuilles... Et elle s’est assise à l’orgue et elle a joué: «Jésus, garde-moi près de la croix» pendant que son père entrait, et il s’est évanoui, avec un seau de lait en main. C’est vrai.
Dans ce même... Elle fréquentait une église qui faisait... croyait que les jours des miracles étaient passés. Et ils ont dit que, si jamais je franchissais leur porte, qu’ils seraient chassés de l’église; ils ont dit à tout le monde qui allait là de ne pas me laisser entrer. Mais Jésus m’avait envoyé là et je suis entré. Elle voulait que j’entre, et Dieu l’a guérie. Et maintenant, toute la famille est remplie du Saint-Esprit. Voyez? Donc, c’est différent maintenant.
| E-34 So when we... I come home, I went down to an old friend by the name of George Wright, down a country road where little Georgie Carter... And you've heard that in the book, of course, her personal testimony. The thinnest person I ever seen, even thinner than Florence Nightingale, when she was healed. But Georgie, really, was a little woman to begin with; she only weighed about thirty-five pounds. You've heard her testimony. Laid there nine years and eight months, and never moved off the bed.
And a hour from then, she was in the yard praising, leaping, shouting, giving God glory. She's my pianist in the Milltown Baptist Church at Milltown, Indiana, tonight. Never been to bed, only just to go to sleep at night since. Been laying there nine years and eight months, couldn't even move, couldn't even raise her sputumin cup to spit in it. Her limbs, up here at her hips, wasn't over that big around. If you'd seen that skeleton come from the bed, and go into the yard, and sit down, and bless the leaves... And was sitting at the organ playing "Jesus Keep Me Near the Cross," when her father come in and fainted, with a bucket of milk in his hand. Right.
In that same... She went to a church that did--believed the days of miracles was past. And they said if I ever entered their door, that they'd be put out of the church; tell everybody that comes over not to let me come in. But Jesus sent me down there and I went in. She wanted me to, and God healed her. And now, the whole family is filled with the Holy Ghost. See? So that's different now.

E-35 Je suis donc allé chez monsieur Wright, un cher vieil ami à moi de soixante-dix et quelques années. Et ma femme était avec moi dans la réunion, nous ne savions pas qu’il existait une telle maladie. Et ainsi, quand je suis arrivé là, je l’ai trouvé avec un caillot de sang derrière les deux jambes. Et un spécialiste avait été là, là loin dans la contrée où il habite, et il lui accordait environ trois ou quatre jours à vivre, disant que ce caillot de sang durcissait les artères. Aussitôt que... Le caillot de sang était dans les jointures de ses genoux, et aussitôt que le sang circulait, il atteindrait le coeur; et cela le tuerait immédiatement. S’il atteignait son cerveau, cela le paralyserait: «Il n’y avait pas du tout d’espoir», selon le spécialiste.
Eh bien, il m’est arrivé d’apprendre cette nouvelle à mon arrivée, et il était couché sur le lit, les mains levées, en train de pleurer. Et je... Il a dit: «Ô frère Branham, nous avons essayé d’avoir... Chicago, nous avons envoyé des télégrammes...» Mais je ne les avais jamais reçus. Alors, ils...
Je suis entré, je suis tombé sur le vieil homme, priant, demandant à Dieu de le laisser vivre. Et je suis resté là toute cette journée-là, environ–environ deux ou trois jours, priant pour cet homme, chaque jour. Et j’essayais de me détendre le matin. Je me levais, sortais, prenais mon vieux fusil, gravissais la colline pour voir si je pouvais effrayer un lapin. Je revenais, m’asseyais, priais pour lui, je ressortais. Finalement, les gens ont commencé à apprendre que j’étais là. [Frère Branham tousse.–N.D.E.] Excusez-moi. Je suis donc retourné le lendemain et il y avait environ huit ou dix voitures pleines parquées là. Je ne pouvais donc pas m’approcher directement de la maison à ce moment-là.
| E-35 So I went out to Mr. Wright's, a dear old friend of mine, seventy some years old. And my wife, being with me in the meeting, we didn't know that this condition existed. And so, when I went down there, I found him with a blood clot in the back of both of his legs. And a specialist had been out there, way out in the country where he lives, and said he only had about three or four days to live, that the blood clot was a hardening of the arteries. As soon as... The blood clot was in his joints of his knees, and as soon as the blood moves, it would go to his heart; it would kill him instantly. If it went to his brain, it would paralyze him: "No hope at all," specialist.
Well, I happened to find that news when I went in, and he was laying on the bed with his hands up, crying. And I... Said, "Oh, Brother Branham, we tired to get at Chicago." They sent telegrams, but I never did get them. So they...
I went in, fell across the old man, praying, asking God to let him live. And I stayed there that day about--about two or three days, praying for the man, every day. And I was trying to relax of a morning. I'd get up, go out, get my old shotgun, go up on the hill and see if I could scare a rabbit. I come back, set down, pray for him, go back out. Finally, people begin to find out I was over there. [Brother Branham coughs--Ed.] Pardon me. So I went back the next day and there's about eight or ten carloads setting our there. So I couldn't go up the house right at the time.

E-36 Ainsi donc, le prochain... Ma femme m’a téléphoné, disant: «Chéri, je suis désolée de t’appeler, mais, a-t-elle dit, tu vas devoir simplement revenir à la maison, car une missionnaire chez les Juifs...» Une très bonne femme chrétienne; elle habite à Louisville, elle va être en Palestine au même moment que je serai là. Et c’est une femme très distinguée, elle est diplômée de l’Institut biblique Moody de Chicago, une brave femme, une fervente croyante dans la guérison divine. Dieu l’avait guérie et avait fait beaucoup de choses dans sa famille. Et elle... Sa fille était à l’hôpital, et les médecins l’avaient abandonnée avec une espèce de poison depuis l’enfance, et elle était couchée, mourante.
Le...?... L’hôpital baptiste là à Louisville, dans le Kentucky, c’est un grand hôpital. J’oublie combien de centaines de chambres il dispose. L’une des meilleures équipes médicales qu’il y a dans le pays, je suppose, dans ce grand hôpital...
Beaucoup parmi vous ici de Louisville savent où il se trouve, au bout de Broadway là-haut. Et ainsi donc, elle était couchée là... Et James C. Robertson, un grand avocat chrétien de renommée internationale, un ami très intime à Timothée...?... en Angleterre, qui m’amène en Angleterre cette fois-ci, comme le–comme le Reader’s Digest va dans le monde entier...

Her daughter was in the hospital, and the doctors had give her up with some kind of a poisoning from childbirth. and she was laying, dying.
The...?... Baptist Hospital back in Louisville, Kentucky, which is a great hospital. I forget how many hundreds of rooms it's got in it. One of the best medical staffs there is in the nation, I suppose, at this big hospital...
Many of you in here from Louisville know where it's at, at the end of Broadway up there. And so, then, she was laying there... And James C. Robertson, a great Christian attorney, internationally known, very close friend of Timothy...?... in England, which is bringing me over to England this time, like the--like a "Reader's Digest," goes all over the world...
And he went up there. And his father's one of the presidents on the staff, and they had done everything, and got every doctor they could for this woman, 'cause she is a personal friend of Mrs. Baker also, the girl's mother.

E-37 Ainsi, je suis rentré, je suis allé là. La famille Wright s’est mise à pleurer, disant: «Frère Branham...» Frère Shelby m’avait accompagné, son fils d’environ quarante ans, il a dit: «Frère Branham, que pensez-vous de papa? Pensez-vous qu’il va mourir?»

J’ai dit: «Je pense qu’il va mourir.» Et j’ai dit: «Je pense qu’il rentre à la Maison à la rencontre du Seigneur.»
Evidemment, nous savons que les chrétiens ne meurent pas; il n’y a aucune Ecriture dans la Bible. Voyez? Les chrétiens ne meurent pas. Ils vont simplement rester avec le Seigneur.
| E-37 So I went home, went over there. The Wright family begin crying, said, "Brother Branham..." Brother Shelby went out with me, his son, about forty years old, he said, "Brother Branham, what do you think about dad? You think he's going to die?"
I said, "Yes, Shelby. I believe your daddy's going to die."
He said, "Sir, I--I hate to give dad up."
His little sister come over, said, "Brother Branham, what do you think of daddy?"
I said, "I believe he's going to die." And I said, "I believe he's going home to meet the Lord."
'Course we know Christians don't die; there's no such a Scripture in the Bible. See? Christians don't die; they just go to be with the Lord.

E-38 Eh bien, j’ai dit: «Il a soixante-douze ans. Dieu lui avait promis soixante-dix. Maintenant, il a soixante-douze ans et il a été un homme en bonne santé et fort. Il avait vécu plus longtemps que le médecin lui avait accordé de vivre. Mais j’ai demandé à Dieu... Dieu ne m’a jamais dit un mot. Donc, je suppose que Dieu va le reprendre.»
J’ai dit: «C’est un chrétien, prêt à partir. Il n’y a donc rien... Il a vécu sa vie. Ainsi, je pense que Dieu va le reprendre.» C’est tout ce que je savais.
Ils ont donc pleuré, certainement. J’ai offert une prière d’adieu pour lui. Je suis rentré à la maison (Merci, frère.), je suis rentré à la maison. Et quand je suis arrivé à la maison cette nuit-là, le lendemain après-midi, je suis allé à l’hôpital baptiste. Et aussitôt que je suis arrivé là, leur... son–son beau-fils, la mère, la vieille mère, son beau-fils, il était un catholique. Et après avoir épousé cette fille, il avait changé d’église et était devenu un protestant. Et les membres de la famille de sa mère étaient encore catholiques. Ils ont donc envoyé chercher le prêtre pour qu’il vienne oindre la femme en vue de la mort, juste pour consoler la famille.
| E-38 Now, I said, "He's seventy-two years old. God promised him seventy. Now, he's seventy-two, and he's been a healthy, strong man. But now, his time's come. His doctor has been here and said he was dying. And the blood clot looks like is swelling on up in his body now. Perhaps... He's lived longer now than the doctor give him to live. But I've asked God... God's never said a word to me. So I suppose God is going to take him."
I said, "He's a Christian, ready to go. So there's nothing... He's lived his life. So I guess God will take him." That's all I knew.
So they was crying, of course. I had a farewell prayer for him, went on home (Thank you, brother.), went on home. And when I got home that night, next afternoon, I went over to the Baptist Hospital. And as soon as I got over there, their... Her--her son-in-law, the mother, the old mother, her son-in-law, he was a Catholic. And after marrying this girl, had changed churches and become a Protestant. And his mother's people were Catholic yet. So they sent for the priest to come and anoint the woman for death, just for consolation for the family.

| E-39 So it happened to be, the Irish priest and I met there at the same time. I said, "Now, just a moment. I have no disregard for any man's religion, as far as I'm concerned, but if... Let me go in first. If this brother, this priest, is going in there to anoint her for death, I'm going in to anoint her for life." See? I said, "We can't get this mixed up." But I said, "If you will, let me pronounce life on her first."
So they let me go in. Then when I went in there, there was a group of people standing there. She was kind of in a coma, swollen way up to her eyes and everything, some kind of a poisoning that comes from childbirth, that they could do nothing with, so they... the medical science...

Et j’ai dit: «Eh bien, ne soyez donc pas agitée, bien-aimée soeur.» Voyez? Et je l’ai saisie par la main. J’ai dit: «Je suis venu pour prier.»
Elle a dit: «Oh!» Et juste...
J’ai dit: «Maintenant, soyez calme, soyez calme.» Voyez? «Ne soyez pas tout émotionnée. Attendez que Dieu vous guérisse, et alors ayez de l’émotion.» Voyez? Et alors, j’ai dit: «Ressaisissez-vous, soyez raisonnable, écoutez-moi maintenant.»

And she, trying to open her eyes; she said, "Who is it?"

And she started crying, tears washing all... swollen face, young woman, about twenty-two. And she said, "Oh, Brother Branham, shake my hand, shake my hand."
And I said, "Now, just don't be hysterically, sister dear." See? And I took hold of her hand. I said, "I come to have prayer."
She said, "Oh!" And just...
I said, "Now, be quiet, be quiet." See? "Don't get all emotional. Wait till God heals you, and then get emotional." See? And so, I said, "Come solid, sanely, listen to me now."

E-41 Je lui ai donc imposé les mains et j’ai demandé à notre Bien-Aimé Seigneur Jésus de bien vouloir la guérir. J’ai prié pour elle, je me suis éloigné du lit et j’allais la quitter. J’ai pris mon manteau et mon chapeau. Et quand je me suis retourné, il y avait là au-dessus de ce lit cette Colonne de Feu qui tournoyait continuellement.
J’ai su qu’Il allait dire quelque chose. Eh bien, je n’avais pas eu de vision depuis environ une semaine ou dix jours, depuis que j’avais quitté la réunion de Chicago. Et Il tournoyait là.
Je me suis tenu tranquille. J’ai regardé ce qu’Il disait. Je me suis avancé vers le lit et j’ai dit: «Ma chère soeur, même si vous connaissez votre état...?»
Elle a dit: «Oui, Frère Branham, a-t-elle dit, je prie que Dieu vous montre une vision.»

| E-41 So I laid hands upon her and asked our dear Lord Jesus, if he would heal her. I prayed for her, walked back from the bed and was going to leave. I picked up my overcoat and hat. And when I turned around, up over that bed was that Pillar of Fire moving around and around.
I knew He was going to say something. Now, I hadn't saw a vision for about a week or ten days, since I left the Chicago meeting. And there It was moving around.
I stood still. I seen what He said. I walked over to the bed and I said, "My dear sister, though you know your condition...?"
She said, "Yes, Brother Branham." She said, "I pray that God will show you a vision."
I said, "He has. And I have THUS SAITH THE LORD."
I said, "In about six or eight hours they're going to put a...?... over here to try to bring you to 'cause you're going to go into a coma. But you're no more than going into it, just a second, till you're coming out of it."

Il a dit: «Frère Branham, ma petite enfant avait des pieds-bots. Vous avez prié pour elle une douzaine de fois, je pense. Nous avions...?... prier pour elle. Et un jour, pendant que j’étais dans une pièce là, c’était bondé, vous avez eu une vision et vous avez dit: ‘AINSI DIT LE SEIGNEUR, dans vingt-quatre heures, les pieds de votre enfant vont se redresser.’»
Il a dit: «Et le lendemain matin, quand je suis allé au berceau, les pieds du bébé étaient droits et l’ont été depuis lors.» C’était un...?... Et il a dit: «Si vous dites: ‘AINSI DIT LE SEIGNEUR, ma femme va retourner à la maison dans trente-six heures’, je ne vais même pas dans la chambre. Je vais prendre mon chapeau, retourner à la maison, faire le nettoyage et l’attendre.»
J’ai dit: «Que Dieu vous bénisse. Si ce n’est pas vrai, alors je suis un faux prophète. Souvenez-vous-en donc, c’est AINSI DIT LE SEIGNEUR.» Il a pris son chapeau et s’en est allé.
| E-42 ...Walked up to me and put his arms around me, said, "Just a minute." He said, "Brother Branham, did I hear you say THUS SAITH THE LORD in thirty-six hours my wife will be home?"
I said, "If it isn't, I'm a false prophet."
He said, "Brother Branham, my little baby had club feet. You'd prayed for her a dozen times, I guess. We had...?... pray for her. And one day while I was in a room here, it packed full of people, you saw a vision and said THUS SAITH THE LORD in twenty-four hours your baby's feet will be straight."
Said, "The next morning when I went to the crib, the baby's feet was straight and has been straight ever since." That was a...?...
And he said, "If you say, 'THUS SAITH THE LORD my wife is going home in thirty-six hours.' I'm not even going to the room. I'm going to get my hat, and go home, and clean up, and wait for her."
I said, "God bless you, my son. If that isn't true, then I'm a false prophet. Just remember; that's THUS SAITH THE LORD." Grabbed his hat and away he went.

E-43 Et je suis ressorti, et je descendais les marches; et il y avait un homme du nom de McDowell (McDowell Electric Company à Jeffersonville), aux bas des marches. Il... Une sommité dans le domaine de l’électricité.
Sa mère venait d’être opérée à Frankfort, dans le Kentucky, d’un cancer au point qu’on ne l’avait même pas suturée. Elle avait soixante et un ans. On a opéré, c’était si malin qu’on a simplement rassemblé cela, on l’a suturée, on l’a remise au lit, disant qu’elle allait mourir.
Frère Mack a dit: «Frère Bill, certainement que vous allez monter là pour la vente de ma petite maison.» Il a dit: «Je sais que vous êtes fatigué, chéri, mais je... Oh! Si vous faites cela...»
J’ai dit: «J’irai.»
| E-43 And I come back out and started down the steps, and there was a fellow by the name of McDowell (McDowell Electric Company in Jeffersonville) was at the bottom of the steps. He... Top man in electricity.
His mother had just been opened up at Frankfurt, Kentucky, with a cancer, till they didn't even sew her up. She was sixty-one years old. They opened her up, and it was just so full of malignancy, they just pulled it together and taped her, laid her back on the bed, and said she's going to die.
Brother Mack said, "Brother Bill, surely you'll go up there about selling my little home." Said, "I know you're tired, honey, but I... Oh, if you'll do it..."
I said, "I'll go."

E-44 Nous sommes donc montés dans sa voiture et nous sommes partis. Et je suis allé dans la chambre de cette femme, j’ai prié pour elle, et je suis sorti de l’hôpital, et quelqu’un a placé sa main sur mon épaule. C’était une petite infirmière et elle pleurait.

J’ai dit: «Eh bien, que votre coeur soit béni, soeur. Que demandez-vous à Dieu?»
Elle a dit: «Je ne suis personnellement pas malade.»
«Mais, ai-je dit, que puis-je demander à Dieu pour vous?»
Elle a dit: «Rien. Mais que je sois aussi ce genre de chrétienne.»
J’ai dit: «Eh bien, que Dieu vous l’accorde, soeur.»
| E-44 So we got in his car and away we went. And I went up to the women's place, had prayer for her, started out of the hospital, and somebody put their hand on my shoulder. It was a little nurse and she was crying.
She said, "Preacher, I've always believed that I'd see the day when those things come back to Bible days again." Said, "First time I ever heard of it," but said, "I believe what you ask God in there, God will do it."
I said, "Well, bless your heart, sister. What do you ask of God?"
She said, "I'm not sick myself."
But I said, "What could I ask God for you?"
She said, "Nothing. But let me be a Christian like that too."
I said, "Well, God grant it to you, sister."

E-45 Je suis sorti et je suis rentré à la maison. Je suis arrivé vers cinq heures du matin; deux voitures pleines de gens étaient stationnées devant la porte. J’ai simplement prié pour eux, je suis entré et je suis allé au lit. J’ai dormi jusque vers neuf heures. Et je me suis réveillé et j’allais sortir de la maison, j’allais sortir de la chambre (Excusez-moi) pour aller dans le couloir qui mène vers une autre pièce. Quand je suis sorti de ce... J’avais porté mon peignoir et je suis sorti. Je me tenais dans la pièce, il y a eu dans la pièce une jeune fille très attrayante. Je n’avais jamais pensé à une vision. J’ai dit: «Bonjour. Que faites-vous là?»
Et elle n’a point dit un mot. Elle a simplement tourné la tête et a dit: «Mère, c’est à cela que je m’attendais.»
| E-45 Went on out, went on home. I got in along about five o'clock in the morning; two carloads of people were setting before the door. Just had prayer for them, went in and went to bed and slept till about nine o'clock. And I got up and started out of the house, started out of the room (Pardon me.) into the hall, leads out into another room. When I started out of this... I put on my bathrobe and started out. Standing in the room was a very attractive young woman. I never thought of a vision. I said, "Good morning. What are you doing in here?"
And she never said a thing. She just turned her head, and said, "Mother, that's just the way I expected it."

E-46 Et alors, quand j’ai regardé de côté, j’ai su que c’était une vision. Il y avait une femme grisonnante de soixante et un ans, avec le cancer, qui souffrait du cancer, elle se tenait près d’un téléphone et conversait avec sa fille, avec quelques-unes de ses amies. Elle était penchée contre les placards de sa cuisine chez elle.
J’ai dit... J’ai regardé cela, j’ai dit: «Eh bien, c’est la femme pour qui j’ai prié hier soir.»
Et juste à ce moment-là, j’ai entendu quelque chose produire un bruit de mottes de terre qui tombaient, tombaient. J’ai regardé tout autour. J’ai vu un saule, et il y avait de très grosses mottes d’argile jaune qui tombaient. Et j’ai entendu l’Ange du Seigneur parler et dire: «AINSI DIT LE SEIGNEUR, les gens qui se moquent de monsieur Wright, il va creuser leurs tombes.» Oh! la la! Quelle sensation!
| E-46 And then when I looked over sideways, I knowed it was a vision. There stood that gray-headed woman, sixty-one years old, with cancer, that had cancer, standing by a phone having a conversation with daughter, with some of her friends, leaning up against her kitchen cabinets at home.
I said... Looked at that, I said, "Well, that's the woman that I prayed for last night."
And just then I heard something going, clods dropping, dropping. I looked around. I seen a willow tree, and there was great big, yellow clods of clay dropping. And I heard the Angel of the Lord speak and say, "THUS SAITH THE LORD, the people who are laughing at Mr. Wright, he will dig their graves." Oh, my, what a feeling.

E-47 Le dimanche suivant, le dimanche suivant, la femme était chez elle en train de faire son travail tout aussi normalement et bien portante qu’elle pouvait donc l’être. Tout ce staff de baptistes là, je veux dire, le staff de l’hôpital, Good Samaritan Hospital, c’était à Frankfort, ça les a tous déconcertés, la façon dont elle s’était rétablie; ils n’ont pu trouver aucune trace du cancer.
Savez-vous ce que le médecin a dit quand je le lui ai demandé? Il a dit: «Vous savez, je dois m’être trompé.» Oh! la la! «Je dois m’être trompé.» Alors, ces autres doivent s’être trompés, ou quelque chose comme cela. Très bien.
Et monsieur Wright, je l’ai appelé et j’ai dit: «J’ai l’AINSI DIT LE SEIGNEUR.’»
On a dit: «Frère Branham, il est pratiquement paralysé ce matin.»
J’ai dit: «Frère Wright creusera la tombe de ceux qui se moquent de lui.» Je sais qu’il est un fossoyeur, mais il l’était. Et le deuxième jour, le caillot de sang a disparu, on ne pouvait plus en trouver une trace, nulle part. Et monsieur Wright...?... parfaitement normal et bien portant. Qu’est-ce? C’est la Parole de Dieu venant de la Gloire, rendue manifeste parmi nous...?...
| E-47 The next Sunday, the following Sunday, the woman was home doing her work just as normally and well as she ever could be. Staff of the whole Baptist staff there, I mean, the staff of the hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital it was in Frankfurt, baffled all of them how she got well; they couldn't find any of the cancer.
You know what the doctor said, when I ask him? He said, "You know I must have been mistaken." Oh, my. "I must have been mistaken." Then some of these others must have been mistaken or something. All right.
And Mr. Wright, I called up and I said, "I have 'THUS SAITH THE LORD.'"
Said, "Brother Branham, he's almost paralyzed this morning."
I said, "Brother Wright will dig the grave of those who are laughing at him." I know that he's a grave digger, but he was. And on the second day the blood clot passed, they couldn't find a trace of it anywhere. And Mr. Wright's...?... perfectly normal and well. What is it? It's the Word of God coming out of glory, made manifest among us...?...

E-48 J’ai dépassé mon temps pour aller en Inde, le 23 du mois passé, j’étais trop pressé. Bien sûr, c’est généralement ce que je fais, et Dieu doit me ralentir un peu. Etant un Irlandais, vous savez, et–et essayant de faire des choses, je suis juste pressé pour faire cela...
Ainsi donc, je me dirigeais vers une chambre pour assister des gens, il y avait là un homme debout avec une serviette sur la tête. C’était quelque chose comme cette femme assise là maintenant avec une serviette autour de la tête. Il était d’un teint un peu sombre, et son nez était un peu aplati par-devant.
Et j’ai dit: «Bonjour, monsieur.» Je pensais que c’était l’un des patients dans cette maison-là. Il a simplement levé les yeux et a dit: «Frère Branham, n’allez pas outre-mer jusqu’en septembre.»
J’ai regardé... Je–je me suis mis à demander... Il était parti. Il avait disparu.
Eh bien, qu’est-ce? C’est la Parole du Seigneur rendue manifeste. Quand... Ces visions sont parfaitement vraies. Elles sont envoyées de Dieu. Eh bien, comparez cela... A l’intention de n’importe quel étranger dans nos portes, je souhaiterais que vous compariez...?... Allez dans ma ville natale, prenez mes livres, retracez tout témoignage, demandez à n’importe quel moment, si jamais une seule fois les visions ont failli, et ce que sont ces choses.
| E-48 I spent my time to go to India, on the twenty-third of last month. Got too big a hurry. 'Course that's the way I usually do, and God has to slow me up some. Just being an Irishman, you know, and--and trying to do things, and just hurry and do it...
So then, I was going to the room to minister some people, there stood a man with a towel over his head. Looked something on order of this lady sitting here now, with that towel across her head. He was kind of dark complected, and his nose was kind of flat in the front.
And I said, "How do you do, sir?" I thought he was one of the patients at the house. He just raised his eyes and said, "Brother Branham, don't go overseas until September."
I looked... I--I started to ask... He was gone. He was vanished.
Now, what is it? It's the Word of the Lord made manifest. When... Those visions are perfectly true; they are sent from God. Now, compare that... To any stranger in the gate, I wish you to compare...?... Go to my home town, get my books, trace down any testimony, ask anytime, if ever one time that a visions failed, and how these things are.

E-49 Et n’est-ce pas le même Seigneur Jésus qui était avec Paul cette nuit-là sur une mer houleuse, quatorze jours et quatorze nuits, sans lune ni étoiles? Tout espoir d’être jamais... Tous avaient perdu l’espoir, tout le monde avait perdu l’espoir. Le vieux navire était plein d’eau. Et il y avait Paul... Regardez. Tout espoir d’être sauvé était perdu, et Paul était dans la cale, peut-être, en train de prier. Et l’Ange du Seigneur est venu vers lui et a dit: «Ne crains point, Paul, tu dois comparaître devant César. Et Dieu t’a donné tous ceux qui naviguent avec toi.»
Il est ressorti, ce petit Juif au nez crochu, agitant ses mains et criant: «Prenez courage. (Eh bien, oh! la la! en plein milieu de la tempête.) Un Ange du Dieu dont je suis le serviteur s’est tenu à mes côtés et m’a dit: ‘Ne crains point, Paul.’ Et j’ai confiance en Dieu, a-t-il dit, qu’il en sera exactement comme Il me l’a montré.» Il avait vu en vision le bateau naufragé là sur le rivage.
Un vieux serpent l’a mordu à la main, il l’a simplement jeté dans le feu et a continué. Le Saint-Esprit...
Une fois, il était tiraillé, ne sachant où aller. Et quand il s’est engagé sur une voie, il y avait un homme qui s’est levé et a dit: «Viens à Macédoine.» Est-ce vrai?

Il dira: «Nous allons passer à côté d’une étable rouge. Il y aura deux vaches près de la clôture; ce sont–ce sont des vaches blanches», quelque chose comme cela. Nous allons rouler quelques kilomètres, il dira: «Regarde ça, papa.» Vous y êtes.
L’autre soir, nous passions, il n’avait jamais été à cet endroit auparavant. Et il a dit: «Tu sais, c’est une chose étrange, papa.» Il a dit: «Quand tu entreras ce soir, il y aura une telle personne qui te rencontrera à la porte, et telle chose.» Et c’est juste... C’est ce que c’était. Voyez?
C’est l’Ange du Seigneur, le don de Dieu, qui passe par le jeune homme. Si seulement il s’abandonnait à cela, nous formerions deux lignes de prière et commencerions cela ici. Voyez? Priez. Que Dieu accorde qu’il en soit ainsi.

The other night we was coming over, he'd never been at this place before. And he said, "You know, the strange thing is, dad?" He said, "When you come in tonight, there's going to be a certain person meet you at the door, and a certain thing." And it's just... That's the way it was. See?
It's the Angel of the Lord, the gift of God, passing by the boy. If he'd only surrender himself to that, we'd build a double line and start it here. See? You pray. God grant it that it will be.

Et tu as dit: ‘Que tous ceux qui aimeraient être guéris lèvent la main.’» Elle a dit: «Tu n’as pas pu la voir. Elle... Et le lendemain soir, la petite amie est montée à ce balcon-là, elle a vu la femme et elle s’est mise à prier pour elle. Et ce même soir, le Saint-Esprit m’a fait retourner vers la femme. Et elle avait été amenée là par avion, elle était paralysée suite à une attaque d’apoplexie, et Dieu l’a appelée, l’a guérie et l’a parfaitement rétablie. Et elle a pris son lit et est sortie de la salle ce soir-là. C’est vrai. Rebecca priant... C’est vrai...
Très bien, chérie. Veux-tu dire un mot? Tu veux dire: «Gloire au Seigneur»? Tu veux dire un mot, chérie, pendant que tu te tiens là? Elle est un peu réservée. | E-55 Little Rebekah here, just a word for her. Little Rebekah, eight years old, will be her birth, she saw her first vision about two weeks ago.
One night in Hammond, Indiana, she was crying... When they got me out of the meeting, and I was about to pass out myself, and I said, "What's the matter, honey?"
And she said, "Daddy..." She's way back, there was several thousand people, she's up in the balcony. She said, "Daddy, some poor old woman, laying on a stretcher... And you said, 'All that wants to be healed, raise up your hand.'" Said, "You couldn't see her. She... The crowd stood up and you couldn't see her." That poor little heart was breaking. "Well, honey, she didn't raise her hand. Jesus saw her."
She said, "But, daddy, she didn't... You didn't see her. And she wanted you to see her."
Well, I said, "It'll be all right. Jesus will heal her."
And the next night this little fellow climbed up in that balcony, and seen the woman and started praying for her. And that same night, the Holy Spirit turned me around to the woman. And she'd been flown in there by an airplane, was paralyzed from a stroke, and God called her and healed and made her perfectly well. And she packed her bed out of the building that night. That's right. Rebeccah praying...

Tout ce qu’Il pourrait faire s’Il se tenait ici, ce serait lui dire ce que sont ses besoins, comme Il l’avait fait pour la femme au puits. Voici pour commencer, ce soir, un parfait tableau de Jésus, et de ce temps-là au puits.
Maintenant, ce n’est pas moi, mais Lui. Voyez? Elle est une Espagnole, et moi, un Irlandais. Il y a une assez grande différence. Très bien. Remarquez, sa famille vient de l’Espagne, la mienne de l’Irlande. Mais nous voici debout ici, les deux, juste comme les Samaritains et les Juifs ce soir-là.

Now, He couldn't tell her, "I'll heal you," because He's already did that, if that's what she needs. If she needs finances, He--He's her finance. He's... She needs a Saviour, He's her Saviour. Whatever she has need of, Jesus Christ can supply that need, and has supplied it.
The only He could do if He was standing here, would be tell her what her needs was, like He did the woman at the well. Here to begin with tonight is a perfect picture of Jesus and of that time at the well.
Now, not me, but Him. See? She is a Spanish woman, and I'm Irish: quite a difference. All right. Notice, her people came from Spain, mine from Ireland. But here we are standing, two, just like Samaritans and Jews that night.

La première chose que je peux me rappeler: voir une vision. Voyez? Il n’y a rien que j’aie fait, c’est Dieu qui m’a simplement permis de venir sur terre pour accomplir cette oeuvre pour Lui. Je ne fais qu’accomplir mon devoir envers Dieu. Voyez? Rien pour moi, c’est pour vous. Maintenant, s’Il est ici, le même hier, aujourd’hui et éternellement, Il connaîtra cela.
| E-61 Now, see, and if I have told the truth, that Jesus raised from the dead and promised the things that He did, we'd do also. And I claim that when I was born, no religion at all... My people before me, from Ireland, 'course were Catholic. But my family had no religion at all. In the very morning when I was born, three minutes old, when they opened a little old window (not the kind you have here in Phoenix, no), a little wooden door, just pushed it open. The first thing I can remember: seeing a vision. See? Nothing that I done, God just let me come on this earth to do this work for Him. I'm only doing my duty to God. See? Nothing for me, it's for you. Now, if He's standing here the same yesterday, today, and forever, He will know it.
