Notre Bienveillant Père céleste, nous Te sommes reconnaissant ce soir pour ce privilège que nous avons de venir sous ce toit pour T’adorer en Esprit et en Vérité.
Et maintenant, puisse le Saint-Esprit qui nous a promis de rester avec nous pour toujours, manifester Jésus-Christ ce soir, c’est notre prière, dans la puissance de Sa résurrection. Bénis tous les nécessiteux ce soir. Ceux qui ont besoin de sagesse, nous Te prions de leur accorder la sagesse de Dieu, afin qu’ils sachent comment accepter le Seigneur Jésus-Christ comme leur Sauveur.
Bénis les malades et les affligés, Père. Puissent-ils ce soir avoir la foi pour être guéris. Et à la fin du service, ce soir, puissions-nous dire avec ceux qui revenaient d’Emmaü()s: «Notre coeur ne brûlait-il pas au-dedans de nous à cause de Sa Présence?» Car nous le demandons en Son Nom. Amen.

Our kind, heavenly Father, we are grateful to Thee tonight, for this privilege that we have of coming beneath this roof to worship Thee in Spirit and in truth.
And now, may the Holy Spirit that promised to us, to abide with us forever, we pray that He will manifest Jesus Christ to us tonight, in the resurrected power of His Being. Bless all the needy tonight. Those who are needing wisdom, we pray that You'll give them the wisdom of God, to know how to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their Saviour.
Bless those who are sick and afflicted, Father, and may tonight, they have faith to be healed. And when the service is closed tonight, may we say with those that came from Emmaus, "Did not our hearts burn within us, because of His Presence?" For we ask it in His Name. Amen.

E-2 C’est effectivement un privilège, à n’importe quel moment, de me tenir devant les enfants de Dieu pour servir notre Seigneur Jésus. J’apprécie les compliments de frère Boze, mais comme je l’ai souvent dit, frère Boze m’aime. Et ce soir, je suis content de voir frère Gordon Lindsay ici, celui qui était notre associé pendant plusieurs années, et nous apprécions sa présence.
Et maintenant, ce soir, comme c’est un lundi soir, nos foules sont toujours réduites le lundi soir, parce qu’il fait chaud, et–et on est le lundi soir. Et les gens, certains, peuvent juste, peut-être, venir un soir. Mais j’étais surpris de voir le grand nombre qu’il y avait ici la première fois. Je me demande où est cette assistance qui s’était entassée hier soir aux murs, où sont-ils ce soir. On dirait qu’ils ne sont pas très nombreux. Eh bien, c’est toujours ainsi dans la vie d’une église.
J’espère que ceux qui sont ici pour la première fois, Dieu les bénira. Et ceux qui ont été ici beaucoup d’autres fois, Dieu les bénira aussi. Je prie que notre Seigneur Jésus manifeste Son amour et Sa puissance à tous. Et à la fin du service, puissions-nous sentir que ça a été–que ça a été bon pour nous de nous rassembler une fois de plus. Ma prière est qu’il n’y ait pas d’affligés, ni d’estropiés, ni de malades dans l’assistance à la fin de ce service.
| E-2 It is indeed a privilege at any time to stand before the children of God to serve our Lord Jesus. I appreciate the compliments of Brother Boze, but as I have said oft-times, Brother Boze loves me. And I'm happy tonight, to see Brother Gordon Lindsay here, one that we've been associated with for many years, and we appreciate his presence.
And now tonight, being Monday night, our crowds is always dropped off on Monday night, because it's hot, and--and it's Monday night. And people, some, can just only, maybe, come one night. But I was wondering for as many as was here for the first time, I wonder where that packed audience, last night was standing at the walls, where they're at tonight. They didn't seem to be very many. Well, that's the way it's always been in church life.
I trust that those who are here for their first time, and that God will bless you. And those who have been here many other times, that God will bless you. And I pray that our Lord Jesus will manifest His love and power to all. And at the end of the service, may we feel that it has been--it has been good for us to gather together again. I pray that they will not be any afflicted, or crippled, or sick people in the audience at the end of this service.

E-3 Evidemment, vous savez, je reçois beaucoup de lettres. C’est tout à fait naturel pour une personne avec un... Pour un prédicateur ou autre. Nous recevons beaucoup, beaucoup de lettres. Evidemment, souvent, je n’arrive pas à lire certaines d’entre elles à moins qu’elles soient personnelles ou tout. On les envoie peut-être pour demander des tissus de prière ou autres. Nous en expédions par milliers chaque semaine partout à travers le monde. Et alors, lorsque j’entends un témoignage... Et dans les réunions, cette série de réunions ici, une–une jeune dame a remis à mon fils un petit mot ici, et cela me rappelle les gens qui étaient peut-être aux réunions. C’était aux réunions de Hammond. Et j’espère et j’ai confiance que cette jeune dame ne pense pas ceci, ou que ceci ne l’embarrasse pas; en effet, je sais que ça ne le ferait pas, comme c’est une chrétienne, si je devais lire cette lettre qui m’a été remise par mon fils. Voici ce qui est écrit: «Cher frère Branham, c’est moi la jeune fille pour qui vous avez prié le 11 juillet 1952 à Hammond, dans l’Indiana. Je demandais à Dieu de me frayer une voie. Et quand vous avez prié pour moi au premier service de guérison auquel j’aie jamais assisté, je crois que c’était en ce moment-là que Dieu avait frayé une voie, et j’ai alors été guérie. Et ce soir-là, je fus sauvée dans mon propre lit. Je n’étais plus une alcoolique, mais gloire à Dieu, je suis guérie, parce que je crois et Jésus-Christ m’a guérie. Le lendemain, une mère m’a demandé de faire venir sa fille. Je ne l’avais jamais vue de ma vie. C’était une toxicomane. Je l’ai amenée dans la ligne de prière et, gloire à Dieu, elle a été guérie.
«Je sais que vous aviez dit que Dieu vous avait envoyé à Hammond, et je sais certainement qu’Il vous avait envoyé, parce que vous m’avez conduite à Jésus, juste comme Paul et Silas l’avaient fait au temps biblique. J’ai donné mon témoignage devant beaucoup de gens depuis que je suis guérie.
«S’il vous plaît, Frère Branham, priez pour moi. Ce fut ce 11 juillet que j’ai été sauvée et guérie il y a deux–deux ans. Gloire à Dieu.
«Mon papa a commencé à fréquenter l’église avec moi, et Dieu m’a beaucoup bénie depuis que j’ai donné mon coeur à Jésus. Les gens, les voisins et les autres, le savent; il n’y a que la puissance de Dieu qui peut changer ainsi quelqu’un.
«Je vous aime, Frère Branham, pour m’avoir conduite à Jésus. Je vais assister à vos réunions ici toute la semaine de mes vacances. J’aime ce verset, 2 Corinthiens 5.17: ’Si quelqu’un est en Christ, il est une nouvelle créature. Les choses anciennes sont passées, voici, toutes choses sont devenues nouvelles.’

| E-3 Of course, you know, I get many letters. That's just only natural for a person with a--preacher or so forth. We get many, many letters. Of course, many times I don't get to read some of them 'less their personal or so forth. They're just sending for maybe prayer cloths or so forth. We send out thousands of those weekly all over the world. And then, when I hear a testimony... And in the meeting, this meeting here, a--a young lady gave my son a little word here, and it brings back a memory of, maybe, people that was at the meeting. It was a Hammond meeting. And I hope and trust that the young lady doesn't think this, or embarrass her, 'course I know it would not, being a Christian, if I should read this letter that was handed me by my son. Said:
Dear Brother Branham. I'm the girl you prayed for July the 11th, 1952, in Hammond, Indiana. I ask God to find a way for me, and when you prayed for me in the first meeting of healing I had ever been in, I believe that was when God found a way, and I was healed then. And that night, I was saved in my own bed. I was not any more an alcoholic, but praise God, I am healed, because I believe and Jesus Christ healed me.
The next day, a mother ask me to call her daughter. I had never seen her in my life before. She was a dope addict. I took her to the prayer line, and praise God, she's healed.
I know you said that God has sent you to Hammond, and I sure know that He did, because you brought me to Jesus, just like Paul and Silas in the Bible times. I have given my testimony to lots of people since being healed.
Please pray for me, Brother Branham. This July the 11th, I was saved and healed two years--two years. Praise God.
My dad started going to church with me, and God has earnestly blessed me since I give my heart to Jesus. The people, next door, and others know, it's only the power of God that could change a person like that.
I love you, Brother Branham, for bringing me to Jesus. I am going to be in your meeting here, a whole week on my vacation. I love that verse, the 2nd Corinthians, 5:17, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things have passed away; behold, all things are become new."

E-4 Eh bien, je ferais mieux de taire le nom parce que je... c’est une jeune dame, ici dans cette salle maintenant. C’est écrit depuis Hammond, dans l’Indiana. Et, jeune dame, s’il arrive que vous soyez dans la salle en ce moment-ci, je m’en souviens. Et je me rappelle avoir lu, ou plutôt suivi l’enregistrement.
La jeune toxicomane qui avait été amenée, je pense, lorsqu’on l’avait amenée à l’estrade, elle s’était déguisée, et le Saint-Esprit lui avait dit qui elle était, et je pense que c’était une danseuse, une partenaire, une partenaire de danse de Fred Astaire, le grand et célèbre danseur connu dans le monde entier. Non seulement cela, mais elle s’est mariée. Elle a épousé un jeune homme catholique, je pense, au mieux de mes souvenirs, il y a eu un divorce en famille. Et elle était vraiment une–une toxicomane et, je pense, une trafiquante de drogue ou quelque chose comme cela. Cette jeune dame-là est présentement dans le World Church, l’église de monsieur Jaggar, le World church, à Los Angeles, en Californie; elle fait ses études pour devenir missionnaire; ce sont les dernières nouvelles que j’ai eues d’elle.
Et comment le Seigneur Jésus, je pense, pour le cas de cette jeune dame, si je ne me trompe pas, le Seigneur Jésus l’a désignée dans l’assistance ou là quelque part, et lui a révélé sa situation. Et là, Dieu l’a sauvée, Il l’a guérie de son état d’alcoolique. Que Dieu vous bénisse, soeur. Puisse votre témoignage subsister longtemps pour la gloire du Seigneur Jésus-Christ.
| E-4 Now, I just better leave off the name, because I--it's a young lady, here, that's in the building now. It's from Hammond, Indiana. And young lady, if you happen to be in the building at this time, I remember. And I remember reading the recording or hearing it.
The young dope addict that was brought, I believe, when she was brought to the platform, she was under a disguising, and the Holy Spirit told her who she was, and I believe she was a dancer and partner, dancing partner to Fred Astaire, the great, famous, world wide, known dancer. Not only that, but she had been married. She had married a Catholic boy, I believe the best I remember, and there had been a divorce in the family. And she was a--a very much of a dope addict, and I believe, peddled dope or something. That girl, now, is in the World Church of Mr. Jaggar's church, the World Church, in Los Angeles, California, studying to be a missionary, the last I heard of her.
And how that the Lord Jesus, I believe, to this young lady, if I'm not mistaken, the Lord Jesus called her out in the audience or up somewhere, and told her her conditions. And there, God save her, and healed her from being an alcoholic. God bless you, sister. May your testimony long live for the praises of the Lord Jesus Christ.

E-5 Ce soir, dans les Ecritures, j’aimerais prendre un passage qui est ici dans Genèse, pour parler juste quelques instants, et j’aimerais donc lire aussi un passage dans l’Epître aux Hébreux. En fait, voici ce que j’aimerais aussi dire: Il se peut que je ne voie jamais cette femme qui est dans la salle. C’est probablement juste une jeune femme, elle... elle a signé mademoiselle. Peut-être que je ne la verrai jamais, mais elle a mis des dîmes dans une enveloppe et me les a envoyées, et elle ne saura jamais combien j’en avais besoin en ce moment-là même. C’était tombé à point nommé. Et que Dieu vous bénisse, ma soeur.
| E-5 In the Scriptures tonight, I wish to turn to a portion here found in Genesis, to speak just a few moments, and I want to read some then out of the Book of Hebrews.
By the way, I want to say this too: I may never see this woman, that's in the building. She's probably just a young woman, she--her name is signed Miss. So I may never see her, but she had some tithings in the envelope that was sent to me, and she'll never know just how bad I needed that right at that time. It come in just exactly right. And God bless you, my sister.

E-6 Est-ce vous la dame? C’est vous la dame en question? Eh bien, c’est bien. La voici ici même, probablement prenant... Fait-elle des enregistrements? Eh bien, ici, à faire des enregistrements. J’ai vu beaucoup d’alcooliques, ils avaient un regard fixe et hideux sur leur visage, dans leurs yeux, un regard fixe et furieux, mais vous, vous êtes assise là ce soir, tranquille, avec un regard paisible et aimable sur le visage, et la paix de Dieu en vous, depuis que Jésus est entré dans votre coeur. C’est comme ça. C’est ça passer de la mort à la Vie, soeur. Puisse-t-Il vous garder toujours ainsi. Marchez sur le chemin étroit et droit, et dites à chaque alcoolique avec qui vous entrerez en contact que Jésus peut le guérir.
| E-6 Is this the lady? Are you the lady? Well, that's fine. Here she is standing right down here, probably taki--you taking recording? Why, down here taking recordings. Well, praise God. Just raise up your hands, so the people can see you. She's down in the orchestra pit here. There's the young lady that was healed, an alcoholic called out in the line setting right here. That's the way, don't be ashamed to let your testimony... Not ashamed. That's wonderful. Standing with tears of joy in her eyes tonight.
If I never had one more thing to happen in Hammond, Indiana, setting in them hot buildings without being air-conditioned, where we had to fan, and that is a thousands times double pay, right there, besides the other hundreds of miracles our Lord performed during that meeting. Thanks be to God, and may you live a long happy life, free of...
I've looked at a many alcoholic, and see that hideous starey look on their face and eyes, and glaring, and you setting there tonight, with a peaceful, loving look on your face, with the peace of God upon you, since Jesus came into your heart. That's the way. It's from death unto Life, sister. And may He always keep you that way. Walk the straight and narrow way, and tell every alcoholic you come in contact with, Jesus can heal them.

E-7 Dans le Livre de la Genèse, chapitre 22; je souhaiterais lire deux passages ici, juste avant le service.
Alors, Isaac, parlant à Abraham, son père, dit: Mon père! Et il répondit: Me voici, mon fils! Isaac reprit: Voici le feu et le bois; mais où est l’agneau pour l’holocauste?
Abraham répondit: Mon fils, Dieu se pourvoira lui-même de l’agneau pour l’holocauste. Et ils marchèrent tous deux ensemble.
Maintenant, dans l’Epître aux Hébreux, au chapitre 11, verset 40, c’est Paul qui parle:
Dieu ayant en vue quelque chose de meilleur pour nous...
Maintenant, je souhaiterais baser ma pensée ce soir sur Dieu a pourvu à la guérison pour cette génération, comme notre service sera–sera surtout consacré à la guérison divine, la guérison de l’âme et la guérison du corps.

And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for the burnt-offering.
And Abraham said, My son, God will provide a lamb for the burnt-offering: and they both... went together.
Now, in the Book of Hebrews, Paul speaking, in the 11th chapter, the 40th verse:
And God having provided some better thing for us...
Now, I wish to take my thought tonight, on "God Providing Healing For This Generation," being that our service are--are mostly devoted to Divine healing, healing of the soul, healing of the body.

E-8 Bon, Dieu, le Créateur, parle ici à Abraham, le patriarche; Il lui avait promis un fils par sa femme, Sara, laquelle avait alors pratiquement cent ans, ou plutôt quatre-vingt-dix, et Abraham en avait cent. Et c’était un temps qui suivait celui où ils avaient attendu, vingt-cinq ans durant, que Dieu accomplisse Sa promesse, le petit Isaac était né. Puis, après qu’Isaac eut atteint seize ans environ, dix-huit ans, Dieu dit à Abraham de tuer Isaac et de l’offrir en sacrifice, de détruire toute espérance qu’Isaac deviendrait le–l’héritier du monde.
En effet, Il le lui avait promis (cette promesse) par sa postérité, il n’en avait aucune, et il avait alors cent ans, il croyait toujours en Dieu, et Sara avait quatre-vingt-dix, mais Dieu a accompli un miracle de la guérison divine. Il a dû guérir Sara. Est-ce vrai? Il a dû guérir Abraham, Abraham avait cent ans et Sara, quatre-vingt-dix; environ quarante ans depuis la ménopause. Il a donc dû la guérir. Il l’a complètement guérie. Elle était redevenue une jeune femme. Je pense avoir prêché là-dessus un soir, lorsque j’étais ici à Chicago il y a quelques années à...
| E-8 Now, God, the Creator, speaking here to Abraham, the patriarch, had give him a promise of a son through Sarah, his wife, who was now nearing, been the age of around a hundred years old or ninety years and Abraham was a hundred. And that was the time, after twenty-five of waiting for God to fulfill His promise, little Isaac was born. Then after Isaac became of the age of about sixteen, eighteen years old, God told him to take Isaac out and to offer him up for a sacrifice, destroying every hope that he would be the--the heir of the world.
Because He promised him, this promise, through his seed, which he had none, and then being a hundred years old, still believed God, and Sarah ninety, but God performed a miracle of Divine healing. He had to heal Sarah. Is that right? He had to heal Abraham, Abraham being a hundred years old, and Sarah ninety, about forty years past menopause, so He had to heal her. And He healed her all over. He turned her back to a young woman. I believe I preached on that one night, while being here in Chicago a few years ago, at...

E-9 Sara était redevenue une jeune femme, et Abraham, un jeune homme. La Bible le prouve. En effet, quelqu’un de cent ans est redevenu probablement quelqu’un de vingt-cinq ou trente ans environ; Dieu montrait par là ce qu’Il ferait pour tous les êtres humains.
Et à vous, femmes et hommes, qui êtes assis ici ce soir, tout comme moi, nous qui commençons à avoir des épaules voûtées et des cheveux grisonnants, glissants, rappelez-vous, aucun de vos cheveux ne périra. C’est ce que Dieu a promis; un jour, vous redeviendrez une jeune dame ou un jeune homme pour vivre aux siècles des siècles. C’est la Parole du Seigneur. C’est ce que nous serons lors de la résurrection. Quelle espérance ça nous donne!
| E-9 Sarah was turned back to a young woman, and so was Abraham turned back to a young man. The Bible proves that. That they, from a hundred years old, probably dropped back to around twenty-five or thirty years old, God showing in that, what He was to do for all human beings.
And to you, woman and men, are setting here tonight, as myself, beginning to stoop in the shoulders, and hair's turning gray, and slipping, remember, that not one hair will perish. God has promised that, and you'll return back someday to a young lady again and a young man, to live forever. That's the Word of the Lord. We will be that in the resurrection. What a hope it gives us.

E-10 Et parfois, lorsque nous pensons subir quelques dures épreuves, pensons simplement à cette espérance bénie qui nous attend là de l’autre côté; quand nous rajeunirons; cette fleur arrive à son–son apogée, au sommet même de la beauté, et pour elle commence à se faner, elle retourne. Une semence tombe de là et reproduit encore la vie. Et un homme et une femme, une fois nés, ils grandissent jusqu’à devenir un jeune homme, une jeune femme, d’environ vingt, vingt-cinq ans; ils sont forts et en bonne santé, ils ont des cheveux noirs, la jeune dame est belle. Et, tout d’un coup, vous savez, les rides commencent à apparaître sous les yeux, les cheveux commencent à grisonner. La mort s’installe, elle va vous emporter. Mais Dieu a achevé Son tableau; juste ce que vous serez dans la résurrection. Et ce que vous étiez à l’âge d’environ vingt-cinq ans, si vous étiez normal, en bonne santé, fort, c’est ce que vous serez dans la résurrection. C’est ce que Dieu a promis, Il a donné une–une confirmation de la Promesse là même.
| E-10 And sometimes, when we think we have a few hard trials, just think of that blessed hope that waits for us just outside there. That when we will return back again, that flower come to it's--it's pinnacle, to it's very heights of beauty, and then it begins to fade, goes back. A seed drops out of it, reproduces life again. And a man or a woman when their born, they raise up to a young man, young woman about the age of twenty, twenty-five; and their strong and healthy, and their hair is black, and the lady's beautiful. And the first thing you know, the wrinkles begin to slip under the eyes; the hair begins to turn gray. Death has set it, and it's going to take you. But God has completed His picture, just what you will be in the resurrection. And what you was at about twenty-five, if you were normal, and healthy, and strong, that's what you'll be in the resurrection. God has promised that, give a--a confirmation of the promise right there.

E-11 Ainsi donc, Abraham, après que l’enfant était devenu un assez grand garçon, Dieu l’a réveillé du sommeil une nuit, Il lui a dit de prendre le petit Isaac et de le tuer. Eh bien, Abraham ne douta point par incrédulité de la promesse de Dieu, mais Il prit le petit Isaac, gravit la montagne et l’offrit. Et juste au moment où il allait lui ôter la vie avec le sabre, ou plutôt un couteau qu’il tenait, eh bien, le Saint-Esprit l’a appelé, l’Ange de Dieu, et lui a dit: «Abraham, retiens ta main.»
Et lorsqu’il était sur le point d’ôter la vie à son unique fils, un type de Dieu le Père ôtant la Vie, Il n’a pas épargné Sa Vie, la Vie de Son Fils unique... Le fils d’Abraham a été épargné.
Et alors, en ce moment-là, un agneau bêla, il était retenu par les cornes dans des branches, là au désert. Et Abraham alla prendre ce petit agneau, il l’amena, le déposa là et l’offrit en sacrifice. Vous êtes-vous déjà demandé d’où venait cet agneau-là, ce petit bélier?
| E-11 And so, Abraham, then after the boy got to be a pretty good sized lad, God woke him up one night out of a sleep, and told him to take little Isaac and destroy him. Now, Abraham still staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief, but took little Isaac and went to the mountain and offered him up. And just the time that he was fixing to take his life with the sabre, or the knife that he had, why, the Holy Spirit called him, the Angel of God, and said, "Abraham, stay your hand."
And when he was just about to take the life of his only son, a type of God, the Father, taking the Life, which spared not His Life, the Life of His only begotten Son... Abraham's son was spared.
And then, at that time there was a lamb that bleated, that was hooked into the vines out there in the wilderness by the horn. And Abraham went and got the little lamb, and brought it over, and laid it down, and sacrificed it. Did you ever wonder where that lamb come from, that little ram?

E-12 Eh bien, Abraham avait effectué un déplacement de trois jours, de chez lui jusqu’au désert. Trois jours, un homme normal peut parcourir à pieds une distance de trente miles [48 km] par jour. Et ça ferait un trajet de quatre-vingt-dix miles [157,7 km] depuis son... jusqu’au désert. Et puis, il a levé les yeux et a vu de loin la montagne, peut-être c’était à une autre dizaine de miles [16 km] de distance, peut-être plus. Et il a demandé aux–aux serviteurs de rester là pendant qu’Isaac et lui allaient continuer. Et là, en ce lieu désert et isolé, là où les enfants d’Israël, des années plus tard, avaient effectué leur pèlerinage, c’était toujours un désert. D’où venait ce bélier? Non seulement cela, mais il était là au sommet d’une montagne, là où il n’y avait pas d’eau, ni rien de quoi vivre, et probablement à une centaine de miles [160 km] du camp, de n’importe qui, là loin au désert; et ce bélier était retenu par les cornes dans ce désert. Y avez-vous déjà pensé? D’où venait ce bélier? Dieu s’est donné un Nom là. On a appelé ce lieu Jéhovah-Jiré, ce qui signifie: «L’Eternel se pourvoira d’un sacrifice.»
| E-12 Now, Abraham had went three day's journey from his home out into the wilderness. Three days, a normal man can walk thirty miles a day. And that would be ninety miles journey from his--out into the wilderness. And then he lifted up his eye and saw the mountain far off, perhaps, another ten miles away, or maybe farther. And he asked the--the servants to abide there while he and Isaac went on. And there in that desolate, wilderness place, out there, where the children of Israel journeyed through, years after, still a wilderness. Where did that ram come from? Not only that, but he was way up on top of a mountain where there'd be no water or nothing for him to live on, and probably a hundred miles from anybody's camp, and way out in the wilderness; and this ram was caught in the wilderness by its horns. Did you ever think of that? Where did that ram come from? God gave Hisself a Name there. They called the place Jehovah-jireh, which is interpreted, "The Lord will provide for Himself a sacrifice."

E-13 C’est Dieu qui avait envoyé Abraham à cette destination, à cet endroit. Et lorsqu’Abraham y est arrivé, Dieu était obligé de tenir Sa Parole vis-à-vis d’Abraham. Et Il a pourvu à un sacrifice au moment crucial où on en avait besoin. Et si vous remarquez bien, ce n’était pas une vision; c’était réellement un bélier. Abraham l’a pris, l’a lié, il l’a déposé sur l’autel, l’a tué avec son couteau, le sang en a jailli et il est mort. Un agn-... Un bélier qui est venu à l’existence en un instant et qui, à l’instant suivant, a disparu de l’existence comme sacrifice. Dieu peut tout faire; Il est Jéhovah-Jiré.
Au moment crucial, Dieu est capable d’intervenir là même et de pourvoir à un sacrifice, ou de pourvoir à un moyen. Quand Dieu a fait une promesse, Il est tenu vis-à-vis de Sa Parole, de La garder. Dieu peut faire sortir des serpents de mer de ce lac, là, de si grande taille qu’ils écraseraient Chicago, s’Il trouvait convenable de le faire ainsi. Ça a l’air de quelque chose de mythique, mais Il peut le faire. Il peut en créer un. Quand le... Dieu parle, Il peut amener la vie à l’existence par la Parole, ou Il peut la faire disparaître par la Parole. Il est Dieu, mais nous sous-estimons Son Etre et Son pouvoir, en effet, Il peut tout faire.
| E-13 God had sent Abraham to this destination, to this place. And when Abraham got there, God was under obligation to keep His Word to Abraham. And He provided a sacrifice in the crucial moment when it was needed. And if you notice, it wasn't a vision; it was really a ram. Abraham picked it up, tied it, laid in on the altar, and stabbed it with his knife, and blood run out of it, and it died, a la--a ram that had been flashed into existence in one minute, and the next minute went out of existence as a sacrifice. God can do all things; He's Jehovah-jireh.
When the crucial moment has been come, God is able to step in right there and provide the sacrifice, or provide the way. When God has made a promise, God's under obligation to His Word to keep it.
God could make sea serpents crawl out of that lake out there, so big that would mash Chicago down, if He seen fit to do so. That sounds like it's mythical, but He could do it. He could create one. When the--God speaks, He can speak life into existence, or He can speak out of existence. He's God, and we underestimate His Being and His ability, for He can do all things.

E-14 Et maintenant, Il est le Dieu qui pourvoit. Il a pourvu à cela en ce moment-là, et Il avait aussi pourvu à la pluie dans les cieux, alors qu’il n’y en avait pas. Mais Noé avait prêché qu’il pleuvrait, et alors, lorsqu’arriva le temps pour l’arche de flotter, eh bien, il y eut la pluie dans le ciel. Dieu a simplement basculé la terre, Il a laissé les éléments entrer dans la terre, et ça a produit la pluie. Car Il était Dieu, Il avait fait la promesse, Il devait garder Sa promesse.
Et si, ce soir, Dieu nous faisait une promesse de nous guérir, Il est Dieu; Il a fait la promesse. Il gardera la promesse, car Il est Dieu; Il ne peut rien faire d’autre. Pour être Dieu, Il doit garder Sa Parole. Le seul défaut que vous et moi, nous avons, c’est que nous doutons de Sa promesse. C’est pourquoi Il ne peut pas venir auprès de nous, parce que nous nous affaiblissons au moment où nous ne devrions pas nous affaiblir.
| E-14 And now, He is God providing. He provided that at that moment, and He provided also rain in the heavens, when there had been no rain. But Noah preached that there would be rain, and so when there come time for the ark to float, why, the rain was in the heaven. God just pushed the world over, and let the elements come into the earth, and brought rain. For He was God; He had made the promise; He'd keep His promise.
And if God made a promise to us tonight to heal us, He's God; He made the promise; He will keep the promise. For He's God; He can't do nothing else. In order to be God, He's got to keep His Word. The only fault is is you and I staggering at His promise. That's the reason He can't get to us, because we weaken at the--the moment when we should not weaken.

E-15 C’est Lui le Dieu qui avait conduit les enfants d’Israël dans le désert, et quand il fallait traverser la mer Rouge, Il avait pourvu au vent de l’est pour qu’il souffle, et il a frayé un passage au milieu de la mer Rouge en soufflant, et cela a permis aux enfants d’Israël de traverser à sec. Comment ce vent a-t-il pu, d’un petit coup comme cela, frayer une voie aussi large que cette allée pour que ces gens-là traversent, et alors à sec? Et avec le vent qui soufflait à une vitesse vertigineuse, les enfants d’Israël ne pouvaient pas marcher à l’encontre de cela comme ça, mais la voie est restée, l’eau est restée en place, et les enfants d’Israël ont traversé à sec; et les incroyants qui avaient cherché à traverser ont été noyés sur le fait. Il est Dieu. Il pourvoira. Il a toujours pourvu.
Et ils sont directement allés au désert de Sin, et là, ils ont trouvé des arbres et un ruisseau, mais l’eau était amère. Et Dieu avait promis de prendre soin d’eux, Dieu avait un petit buisson qui poussait sur le rivage, Moïse l’a découpé, il l’a jeté dans l’eau, et l’eau qui était contaminée est devenue pure et douce. Dieu pourvoira, n’est-ce pas?
Voyez, si Dieu a fait une promesse, c’est qu’Il a pris des dispositions pour cela, pour Sa promesse. Ainsi donc, dans le désert, lorsque ces gens avaient besoin d’eau dans le désert, et qu’ils périssaient de soif, pour avoir rouspété; en effet, ils s’imaginaient qu’ils feraient mieux de rentrer en Egypte retrouver les pots d’ails et autres plutôt que de se retrouver là à manger la nourriture des anges, marcher par la foi. Et ils rouspétaient, et alors l’approvisionnement en eau était coupé.
| E-15 He was the God that led the children of Israel out into the wilderness, and when the Red Sea had to be crossed, God provided a east wind to blow, and just blowed a ditch right across the Red Sea, and let the children of Israel walk across on dry land. How did that wind make one little shoot like that, to cut a streak about wide as this aisle for those people to walk across, and then dry the land? And with the wind blowing at such a terrific speed, the children of Israel could not have walked against it like that, but the way stayed, the water stayed their places, and the children of Israel walked across on dry land; and the unbelievers trying to walk across drowned in the act. He's God. He will provide. He's always provided.
And they came straight to the wilderness of sin, and there they found some trees and a stream, but the water was bitter. And God had promised to take care of them, and God had a little bush growing on the side of the bank that Moses cut down this bush and throwed it into the water; and the water that was contaminated become pure and sweet. God will provide, won't He?
See, if God has promised, He's got the provision for it, for His promise. And then, into the wilderness when those people needed water in the desert, dried up because they was grumbling, because they figured that they'd rather be back down in Egypt with the garlic pots and so forth, than to be out there eating Angel's food, walking by faith... And they were grumbling, and the water supply was taken from them.

E-16 C’est ça le problème de l’église aujourd’hui. L’approvisionnement en eau est coupé à cause des murmures et des doutes. Si vous allez dans un désert, vous trouverez que chaque buisson auquel vous vous butez portera, peut-être, des épines et des piquants, parce qu’il a poussé dans une terre aride, sans eau. Prenez le même genre de buisson, plantez-le en un lieu humide, dans un terrain humide, il sera doux parce qu’il y a beaucoup d’eau. Et si vous prenez une église qui est toujours là à se quereller et se disputer sur les jours des miracles qui seraient passés, souvenez-vous-en bien, ils sont dans le désert et sans eau. Et une église qui est aimable, humble, souple, sensible et qui s’accorde avec la Parole de Dieu, souvenez-vous, ils vivent à côté de la Fontaine qui ne tarit jamais.
David a dit: «Heureux l’homme qui place en l’Eternel sa confiance, qui ne s’assied pas en compagnie des moqueurs, qui ne marche pas dans la voie des pécheurs, mais qui trouve son plaisir dans la loi de l’Eternel; il est comme un arbre planté près des courants d’eau. (Voyez?) Tout ce qu’il fait lui réussit. Son feuillage ne se flétrira pas. Il donne son fruit en sa saison.»
| E-16 That's what's the matter with the church today. The water supply is cut off because of our grumbling and doubting. If you'll go into a desert, you'll find that every bush that you come up against, will perhaps, have thorns and stickers on it, because it's raised in a dry land without water. You take the same variety of bush and put it a moisture--land of moisture, it'll be soft, because it gets plenty of water. And you take a church that's always fussing and stewing about this is days of miracles is passed, just remember they're in a desert and out of the water. And a church that's loving, and humble, and flexible, and feels, and goes with the Word of God, remember they're living by the fountain that never runs dry.
David said, "Blessed is the man whose trust is in the Lord, setteth not in the seat of the scornful, walketh in the way of sinners, but his delight is in the law of the Lord; and he shall be like a tree that planted by the rivers of water. (See?) Whatever he doeth, it shall prosper. His leaves will not fail. He will bring forth his fruit in season."

E-17 Eh bien, quand ils ont eu besoin d’eau, ils ont crié à Dieu... ou plutôt à Moïse, et Moïse a crié à Dieu en leur faveur. Et regardez combien ridicule, pour la science, paraît ce que Dieu avait fait. En d’autres termes, Il a dit à Moïse, après qu’ils eurent cherché de l’eau dans chaque petit fossé, Il a dit: «Va là au rocher.» Un rocher, c’est le lieu le plus aride du désert. Assurément, s’il n’y a pas eu d’eau là dans cette fosse, là où autrefois il y avait une source, il n’y en aura pas là sur la colline dans un rocher sec. Et Dieu, aux yeux de ce monde, fait parfois des choses qui paraissent ridicules, juste pour confondre et rendre confus le sage et l’intelligent, mais Il se révèle aux enfants qui veulent croire et avoir la foi. C’est ce que Dieu fait, parce qu’Il est–Il est Dieu. Il pourvoira.
Eh bien, Il leur avait promis de pourvoir à tout ce dont ils auraient besoin jusqu’à leur arrivée dans la Terre promise.
| E-17 Now, when they needed water, they cried unto God--or to Moses, and Moses cried unto God for them. And look how ridiculous God did it in the eyes of science. In other words, He told Moses, after they'd been in every little ditch hunting water, He said, "Go up there to the rock," a rock, the driest place there was in the desert. Surely, if there's no water down there in that ditch where there was a spring one time, there's not going to be any water up there on the hill in that dry rock. And God, in the eyes of this world, does things, sometime, that seems ridiculous just to confound and confuse the wise and prudent, but will reveal to babes, such will believe and have faith. God does it, because He's--He's God. He will provide.
Now, He promised them He would provide everything they had need of till they got over into the promised land.

E-18 Le problème des chrétiens aujourd’hui, c’est qu’ils ne se rendent pas compte de ce qui a été pourvu pour eux. Beaucoup de gens ne se rendent pas compte de grandes gloires et de grandes puissances auxquelles il a été pourvu pour eux.
Venir à Jésus-Christ, c’est comme marcher dans une galerie marchande, par ici, ou dans un très grand magasin. Si quelqu’un me donne un grand magasin ici dans une galerie marchande et qu’il me disait: «Tout ça, c’est à toi.» Eh bien, la chose suivante que je ferais, ce serait de le parcourir pour découvrir–découvrir ce qui m’appartient, ce qui est mien. C’est pareil en Christ. Lorsque vous devenez chrétien, vous sillonnez, vous découvrez ce qui vous appartient, ce qui est à vous. Tout est à vous, ça vous a été donné gratuitement. Tout ce pour quoi Christ est mort est à vous, à chacun de vous. Et vous avez un carnet des chèques qui porte le Nom de Jésus au bas, et il est dit: «Tout ce pour quoi vous envoyez ce chèque au Père, tout ce que vous demandez au Père en Mon Nom, Je le ferai.» Et vous avez simplement peur de le remplir, c’est tout.
| E-18 The trouble with Christians today, they don't realize what is provided for them. Many people doesn't realize that the great glories and powers that's provided for them...
Coming into Jesus Christ is like walking into the arcade down here or a great department store. If somebody give me a great department store down here in the arcade, and told me, "This is all yours." Well, the first thing I'd do, I'd want to walk around in there and found out--find out what I owned, what was mine. And that's the way it is in Christ. When you become a Christian, walk around, find out what you own, what's yours. All things are yours, given to you freely. Everything that Christ died for is yours, every one of you. And you've got a checkbook with Jesus' Name signed across there, and saying, "Whatever you send this check to the Father, whatever you ask the Father in My Name, that I'll do." You're just scared to fill it out; that's all.

E-19 Eh bien, si j’allais dans un grand magasin et qu’on me disait que tout était à moi, je regarderais sur chaque étagère pour voir ce qui m’appartient. Et pour certaines choses qui sont là-haut et que je pourrais à peine atteindre, j’irais me chercher une échelle, je monterais afin de pouvoir regarder tout autour et voir tout ce qu’il y a là. Ne voudriez-vous pas faire cela? C’est comme ça, lorsque nous entrons en Christ, si quelque chose semble être un peu plus haut, on monte les marches de l’Evangile pour découvrir ce qui vous appartient. Dieu a une échelle qui atteint la Gloire. Jacob l’a vue une nuit, il y avait des anges qui montaient et descendaient, de la terre à la Gloire. Tout est à vous. Dieu a pourvu à cela pour vous. Montez-y ce soir, gravissez du coup, éloignez-vous de ces gens terre à terre ici qui disent: «Les jours des miracles sont passés.» Nous ne sommes pas de gens terre à terre, nous sommes des gens «ciel à ciel», remplis du Saint-Esprit, escaladant l’échelle qui mène à la Gloire. Tout ce qu’il y a le long de la route nous appartient. Tout ce pour quoi Jésus est mort nous appartient. Assurément.
| E-19 Why, if I went into department store, and they said all this is yours, I'd look on every shelf to see what belonged to me. And some of these things that's up high, I couldn't hardly reach them, I'd go get me a stepladder, and get up so I could look around and find what it's all about. Wouldn't you do that? That's the way, when we come into Christ, if something seems just a little high, step up in the Gospel ranks and find out what belongs to you. God's got a stepladder that reaches plumb into glory. Jacob saw it one night, with Angels coming up-and-down from earth to glory. It's all yours. God's provided it for you. Just get on it tonight and climb right on out of this earthbound people here, that says, "The days of miracles are past." We are not earthbound people, we are heaven-bound people, filled with the Holy Ghost, climbing the ladder going to glory. Everything along the road belongs to us. Everything Jesus died for belongs to us. Sure.

E-20 Dieu, jadis, le Créateur, lorsque les enfants d’Israël avaient eu besoin de viande, Dieu a fait souffler un vent pour amener cela de quelque part de la mer. Et les cailles ont été amenées là, on n’avait même pas à les chercher. Ils les ramassaient simplement et les mangeaient. D’où venaient ces cailles? Comment venaient-elles de la mer, le vent soufflait dans telle direction? Dieu les amenait par un vent qui soufflait depuis quelque part. Je crois qu’Il est le Dieu qui pourvoira à la nourriture pour eux, et Il a créé ces cailles et Il les a simplement envoyées là, du coup, dans le camp, par Son souffle.
Je crois que Dieu peut faire la même chose pour chaque nécessiteux présent ici ce soir, Il peut envoyer le Saint-Esprit ici pour réveiller votre conscience à Sa Présence et vous donner ces choses que Jésus-Christ vous a promises, pour lesquelles Il est mort afin que vous les ayez. Il est Jéhovah-Jiré, le Seigneur pourvoira.
| E-20 God, back there, the Creator, when they had need of meat, God caused a wind to blow from somewhere out from the sea. And here come quails in that they didn't even have to hunt them. They just picked them up and eat the quails. Where'd them quails come from? How did they come from out of the sea, the wind was blowing that way? God blowed them in from somewhere. I believe that He's God that will provide food for them, and He created those quails, and just sent them down with His breath right into the camp.
I believe God can do the same thing for every needy person here tonight, can send the Holy Spirit in here to awaken you conscious of His Being, and give to you those things that Jesus Christ promised to you, and died for you to have. He's Jehovah-jireh, the Lord will provide.

E-21 Quand ils tombaient malades, ils n’avaient pas à aller chercher des médicaments, Dieu avait pourvu à l’expiation pour eux. Il avait fait un serpent d’airain, Il l’avait placé sur une perche, Il avait dit que quiconque le regarderait serait guéri. Et chaque homme qui le regardait et croyait, Dieu le guérissait.
Eh bien, le serpent d’airain ne pouvait prier pour personne. Il ne pouvait imposer les mains à personne. Il n’avait pas de mains à imposer, mais Dieu avait pourvu à un moyen pour eux: c’était regarder et vivre. C’était un type. C’était un emblème dans le camp d’Israël, montrant que le Dieu du Ciel habitait dans le camp avec Israël. Lorsqu’on voyait là un homme mordu par un serpent, un homme que rien ne pouvait guérir, il regardait de tout son coeur à cet emblème et croyait; le lendemain, on le voyait bien portant, c’était un signe pour chaque Israélite qu’ils pouvaient regarder et vivre.
| E-21 When they got sick, they didn't have to go out and hunt up some remedies, God provided an atonement for them. He made a brass serpent, and put it on a pole, and said that whoever will look at that will get well. And every man that looked on it and believed, God healed.
Now, the brass serpent couldn't pray for anybody. It couldn't lay hands on no one. It has no hands to lay on, but God provided a way for them to look and live. It was a symbol. It was an ensign in the camp of Israel, that the God of heaven lived in the camp with Israel. When they seen a man here with snake bite, nothing would make him well, and when he looked at that ensign with all of his heart and believed, the man, you see him the next day, he was well. It was a sign to every Israelite that they could look and live.

E-22 Dieu a dressé un emblème ce soir à Chicago et à travers le monde. Le Seigneur Jésus-Christ a été élevé comme un emblème. Pour chaque alcoolique ici présent, voici un emblème dressé pour vous, que Jésus-Christ peut vous délivrer de la boisson. Pour chaque malade ici présent, si je vous demandais ce soir combien de mains... combien ont été guéris, des boiteux, des aveugles, des estropiés, des affligés, des douzaines de mains se lèveraient: L’emblème qui montre que Dieu habite parmi Son peuple aujourd’hui. Il est Jéhovah-Jiré, le Seigneur se pourvoira d’un sacrifice. Après que le serpent eut été utilisé comme emblème pendant plusieurs, plusieurs années... Ensuite, peu après, ils se sont mis à adorer le serpent plutôt que le Dieu qu’il représentait. Le prophète est allé prendre ce serpent et l’a mis en pièces.
| E-22 God has lifted up an ensign tonight in Chicago and all over the world. The Lord Jesus Christ is lifted up for an ensign. To every alcoholic in here, here's an ensign lifted up for you, that Jesus Christ can set you free from drinking. To every sick person in here, that if I'd ask tonight, for how many hands, has been healed, crippled, blind, afflicted, there'd be dozens of them go up: ensign that God lives in the people today. He's Jehovah-jireh, the Lord will provide for Himself the sacrifice.
When the serpent used as an ensign for many, many years... Then, after while, they got to worshipping the serpent instead of the God that it represented. The prophet went in, and got the serpent, and tore it up.

E-23 Puis, il n’y avait plus d’emblème, il ne restait rien que le peuple pouvait voir, ou plutôt regarder, pour croire que Dieu guérissait toujours. Et peu après, un vent descendait du ciel sur la piscine de Béthesda, et Dieu pourvoyait à une voie de guérison pour le peuple. Et chaque Israélite qui croyait en Dieu, qui croyait qu’Il était un Guérisseur, pouvait entrer dans cette piscine, lorsque l’eau était agitée, et être guéri de n’importe quelle maladie dont il souffrait. Est-ce vrai? Dès qu’un emblème était retiré, Dieu élevait un autre. Dès qu’une voie arrivait à la fin, Dieu frayait une autre. Il y avait... Le Seigneur Jésus est venu à cette époque-là! La piscine était sur le point de cesser d’être d’usage. Dieu n’a jamais laissé Son peuple sans un moyen de guérison auquel il a été pourvu. Et juste quand la piscine allait cesser d’être d’usage, le... Titus allait assiéger les murs de Jérusalem et brûler la ville; Jésus avait prophétisé à ce sujet. Jésus-Christ avait été envoyé sur la scène et Il était le moyen de guérison auquel Dieu avait pourvu.
| E-23 Then there was no ensign; there was nothing left that the people could see, or look upon, and believe that God would still heal. And immediately, there come a whirlwind down out of heaven to the pool of Bethesda, and God provided a way of healing for the people. And every Israelite that believed in God, and believed He was a Healer, could step into that pool, when it was troubled, and be healed of any kind of a disease he had. Is that right? When one ensign was taken away, God lifted up another one. When one way was ended, God lifted up another way. There was...
Along came Lord Jesus in the days of this. The pool was just about ready to be done away with. God has never left His people without a provided way for healing. And just at the time the pool was going to be done away with, the... Titus was going to siege the walls of Jerusalem and burn the city; and Jesus had prophesied of it. Jesus Christ was sent on the scene, and He was God's provided way of healing.

E-24 La femme à la perte de sang s’est rendu compte qu’Il était la voie à laquelle Dieu avait pourvu. Lorsqu’on a vu Dieu oeuvrer au travers de cet Homme-là, on a reconnu qu’Il était la voie à laquelle Dieu avait pourvu. Elle a dit: «Si je peux toucher Son vêtement, je serai guérie.» La petite Marthe et la petite Marie, pendant qu’elles étaient à la maison, leur frère Lazare était mort. Il n’y avait plus d’espoir, Il était même décomposé dans la tombe depuis quatre jours, il avait dépassé ses soixante-douze heures. Son nez commençait déjà à s’affaisser, probablement. Les vers du corps grouillaient dans différents membres de son corps. Mais elles... Marie, ou plutôt Marthe, lorsqu’elle est allée à la rencontre de Jésus, elle a dit: «Seigneur, si Tu eusses été ici, mon frère ne serait pas mort.»
Elle savait qui Il était. Elle savait qu’Il était le Sacrifice auquel Dieu avait pourvu pour la Vie. Car Il a dit: «Je suis le Pain de Vie qui est descendu du Ciel d’auprès du Père.» Et Dieu avait pourvu à un Pourvoyeur de la Vie.
| E-24 The woman with the blood issue, realized that He was God's provided way. When they seen God working through that Man, they knew that He was God's provided way. She said, "If I could touch His garment, I'd be made well."
Little Martha and Mary, when they was at home, and their brother Lazarus was dead. All hopes was gone. He was even decayed out in the graveyard four days, past his seventy-two hours. His nose had probably already begin to drop in. The different parts of his body, skin worms was in it. But they... Mary, Martha, rather, when she went to meet Jesus, she said, "Lord, if Thou would've been here, my brother would not have died."
She knew Who He was. She knowed He was God's provided Sacrifice for Life. For He said, "I am the bread of Life that come from God out of heaven." And God had provided a Life-giver.

E-25 Il avait pourvu à l’accomplissement de ce qu’Il avait promis par Isaac: «Jésus-Christ, Son propre Fils qu’Il n’avait pas épargné, pour pourvoir à un Sacrifice éternel. Car chaque génération qui viendrait après Jésus-Christ, chaque génération après cela, n’aurait plus jamais à chercher un autre sacrifice, car, en Jésus-Christ, Dieu a pourvu à tout ce dont la race humaine a besoin. Toutes les préfigurations, tous les types ont été accomplis dans le Seigneur Jésus-Christ. Jésus était le Rocher qui était dans le désert. Il était l’agneau qui était mort à la place d’Isaac. Alléluia! Il y avait un agneau qui était mort à la place d’Isaac. Il y avait un rocher dans le désert. Il y avait le serpent d’airain qui était suspendu sur la perche. Il y avait le–l’Ange qui descendait dans la piscine de Béthesda. Les gens avaient les regards fixés sur la piscine pour voir l’Ange, alors qu’Il passait juste à côté d’eux.
| E-25 He had provided the fulfillment of what He had promised in Isaac: Jesus Christ, His own Son that He spared not, to provide a eternal Sacrifice. For every generation that would follow Jesus Christ, every generation after that would never have to look again for a sacrifice, for God provided everything the human race has need of in Jesus Christ.
All the shadows, all the types were all fulfilled in the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus was the Rock that was in the wilderness. He was the Lamb that died instead of Isaac. Hallelujah. There was the lamb that died in Isaac's stead in his place. There was the rock that was in the wilderness. There was the brass serpent that hung on the pole. There was the--the Angel of the pool of Bethesda. The people was looking on the pool to find the Angel, and here It was going right by them.

E-26 Chaque type de l’Ancien Testament a été accompli en Jésus, Il était et Il est le Sacrifice éternel auquel Dieu a pourvu pour le péché et pour la maladie. En Lui se trouvait la puissance d’omettre, ou plutôt de pardonner chaque péché qui ait jamais été commis. Le péché. La maladie est apparue, c’est un attribut du péché. Lorsque le péché est entré dans le monde, la maladie l’a suivie. La mort l’a suivie. Et Jésus est venu pour ôter le péché, et quand Il a ôté le péché, Il a ôté chaque attribut que le péché produit. J’espère que vous voyez cela ce soir. Lorsqu’Il a tué le péché, Il a tué tout ce que le péché produit. Il a tué le souci. Il a tué le tempérament colérique. Il a tué tout ce que le péché produit. Jésus a tué cela quand Il est mort à notre place au Calvaire. Il était Jéhovah-Jiré, le Sacrifice auquel Dieu avait pourvu.
| E-26 Every type in the Old Testament was met in Him, and He was and is God's everlasting, provided Sacrifice for sin and sickness. In Him dwelt the power to omit, or to forgive every sin that was ever committed. Sin--sickness came, an attribute of sin. And when sin was brought into the world, sickness followed it. Death followed it. And Jesus come to make a riddance of sin, and when He ridded sin, He ridded every attribute that sin produces. I hope you see it tonight. When He killed sin, He killed everything that sin produces. He killed worry. He killed temper. He killed everything that sin produces. Jesus killed it when He died instead at Calvary. He was Jehovah-jireh, God's provided Sacrifice.

E-27 Ça y est: Après Son départ, Il a dit: «Je ne vous laisserai pas orphelins. Je vous donnerai un autre Emblème. Et Moi, quand J’aurai été élevé de la terre, J’attirerai tous les hommes à Moi. Et vous ferez aussi les oeuvres que Je fais, même de plus grandes, car Je M’en vais au Père.» Et Il a donné la commission aux êtres humains d’aller par tout le monde, de prêcher la Bonne Novelle et de démontrer la puissance du Saint-Esprit jusqu’à Son retour, comme un signe. C’est le Sacrifice auquel Dieu a pourvu ce soir, la Personne du Seigneur Jésus dans la Personne du Saint-Esprit ici ce soir, se manifestant comme Jéhovah-Jiré, le Sacrifice auquel Dieu a pourvu pour votre guérison ce soir, la Personne du Saint-Esprit, Jésus-Christ retournant sous la forme de l’Esprit.
Il a dit: «Je viens du Père, Je vais au Père. Encore un peu de temps, et le monde ne Me verra plus. Mais vous, vous Me verrez, car Je serai avec vous, même en vous jusqu’à la fin du monde.»
Le voilà, le Sacrifice auquel Dieu a pourvu, qui peut influencer les coeurs de vrais croyants, d’une extrémité à l’autre de la terre, là où ils seront rassemblés dans des salles où il fait chaud, aux coins des rues, endurant la persécution, mourant pour la cause même qui a été faite et suscitée pour eux.
| E-27 Here it is: After His going away, He said, "I will not leave you comfortless. I'll give you another Ensign. If I be lifted from the earth, I'll draw all men unto Me. And the things that I do, shall you do, even greater than this, for I go unto My Father." And he commissioned human beings to go to all the world, and preach the Gospel, and demonstrate the power of the Holy Ghost until He returns, as a sign. It's God's provided Sacrifice tonight, is the Person of the Lord Jesus in the Person of the Holy Spirit here tonight, proving Himself to be Jehovah-jireh, the Lord's provided Sacrifice for your healing tonight, the Person of the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ returning in Spirit form.
He said, "I come from the Father; I go to the Father. A little while and the world will see Me no more. Yet you shall see Me, for I'll be with you, even in you to the end of the world."
There He is, God's provided Sacrifice, that can sway the hearts of true believers from one side of the earth to the other side of the earth, where they'll gather in hot buildings, on the street corners, bear persecution, die for the very cause that it was made and was created for them.

Mais, écoutez, mes amis. Jésus-Christ, le Fils de Dieu, était le Sacrifice perpétuel et éternel auquel Dieu avait pourvu. Il a été pourvu pour votre péché. Il a été pourvu pour votre guérison. Il a été pourvu pour votre liberté. Il a été pourvu pour votre joie. Il a été pourvu pour votre paix. Chaque attribut pour lequel Jésus est mort, et Il est venu ôter le péché, eh bien, pas couvrir le péché, mais ôter le péché. Et quand... Si je...
Si le serpent avait une patte, et que cela me blessait, que la patte me blessait, je n’aurais pas à retrancher cette patte-là, à me débarrasser de cette chose-là. Si je frappais le serpent à la tête, je tuerais aussi la patte. Est-ce vrai? Chaque organe de son corps serait tué, tout ce qui est dans le serpent. Si vous tuez sa tête, alors vous tuez le serpent. Et quand Jésus, au Calvaire, a réglé la question du péché, Il a ôté la maladie et chaque attribut qui allait avec cela. Il nous a gratuitement libérés.
| E-28 Now, He's Jehovah-jireh. Now, He said, "A little while the world seeth Me no more. But when the Holy Ghost is come, He will testify of Me. The Holy Ghost will testify of Me, and will take these things that I have done and told you, and bring them to your remembrance, and will show you things that is to come." God's provided Sacrifice... And tonight, my times past for speaking.
But look friends, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was God's everlasting, eternal provided Sacrifice. It's provided for your sin. It's provided for your healing. It's provided for your freedom. It's provided for your joy. It's provided for your peace. It's every attribute that Jesus died for, and He come to rid sin, now, not to cover sin, but rid sin. And when... If I...
If the serpent had a foot, and it was a pulling me, the foot was pulling me, I don't have to cut the foot off to get rid of the thing. If I'd hit the serpent in the head, I'd kill the foot also. Is that right? You'd kill every organ of his body, everything, was of the serpent. If you kill its head, then you kill the serpent. And when Jesus, at Calvary, got rid of the sin question, He got rid of sickness and every attribute that went with it. He freely freed us.

E-29 Le diable nous avait mis dans un magasin de prêts sur gage, mais Jésus nous en a rachetés. Il est notre Parent Rédempteur, Dieu fait chair, notre Parent, pour nous racheter de la malédiction du péché et de la maladie et, ce soir, Il a envoyé le Saint-Esprit pour qu’Il demeure avec l’Eglise, qu’Il accomplisse des signes et des prodiges de la guérison et du salut, jusqu’à Son retour.
Cela devait durer jusque quand? «Allez par tout le monde, et prêchez la Bonne Nouvelle à toute création. Allez par tout le monde, et démontrez cette puissance à toute création. Voici les miracles qui accompagneront ceux qui auront cru.» Jusqu’où? Par tout le monde. Quand cet Evangile aura été prêché dans le monde entier, alors Je reviendrai. Voici les miracles qui les accompagneront dans le monde entier: En Mon Nom, ils chasseront les démons, ils parleront de nouvelles langues, ils–ils saisiront des serpents, ou–ou s’ils boivent quelque breuvage mortel, cela ne leur fera point de mal. Ils imposeront les mains aux malades, et les malades seront guéris.» Jésus a dit que ce serait là le même signe.
C’était exactement comme Moïse qui éleva le serpent d’airain, c’était un signe que Dieu était dans le camp. Quand les eaux jaillissaient du rocher, c’était un signe que Dieu était dans le camp. Quand l’eau était agitée dans la piscine de Béthesda, c’était un signe que Dieu était dans le camp. Quand Jésus guérissait les malades, faisait marcher les estropiés, faisait voir les aveugles, Dieu était dans le camp. Quand Pierre et Jean passaient par la porte appelée La Belle, qu’ils ont amené un homme qui était estropié depuis le sein de sa mère à se lever, c’était un signe que Dieu était dans le camp. Quand le Saint-Esprit était revenu à la Pentecôte et qu’Il avait revêtu de puissance ce groupe de gens, c’était un signe que Dieu était dans le camp.
| E-29 The devil put us in the pawn shop, but Jesus redeemed us. He's our kinsman Redeemer, God made flesh, kinfolks to us, in order to redeem us from the curse of sin and sickness, and tonight, has sent the Holy Spirit to dwell with the church, and show signs and wonders of healing and salvation, until He returns again.
How long was it to last? "Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature. Go ye into all the world, and demonstrate this power to every creature. These signs will follow them that believe." How far? "To all the world. And when this Gospel's gone to all the world then I will return. These signs shall follow them to all the world: In My Name they shall cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues; they--they take up a serpent, or--or drink the deadly thing, it would not harm them. And if they lay their hands on the sick, they shall recover." Jesus said that that would be the same sign.
Just like Moses lifted the brass serpent, it was a sign that God was in the camp. When the waters was pouring from the rock, it was a sign that God was in the camp. When the troubled water on the pool of Bethesda, it was a sign that God was in the camp. When Jesus healed the sick, and made the lame to walk, and the blind to see, God was in the camp. When Peter and John passed through the gate called Beautiful, lifted up the man that'd been crippled from his mother's womb, it was a sign God was in the camp. When the Holy Ghost returned on Pentecost and endued that bunch of people with power, it was a sign God was in the camp.

E-30 Et mille neuf cents ans sont passés. Et chaque fois qu’un réveil éclate, à n’importe quel moment dans l’histoire de la Bible, ou dans l’histoire du monde, des signes et des prodiges ont accompagné ce réveil-là. Dieu est dans le camp. Il est Jéhovah-Jiré, le Seigneur a pourvu à un Sacrifice pour votre guérison. Croyez-vous cela? Alors, il n’y a qu’une seule chose à faire, c’est recevoir cela maintenant.
Comme je le disais cet après-midi à cette petite assistance ici, je pensais venir leur parler un petit instant, mais je me suis surpris en train de prêcher si durement; je crois qu’on pouvait m’entendre sans microphone au deuxième coin. Et puis, mon jeune garçon m’a dit, il a dit: «Je pensais que vous alliez enseigner cet après-midi, papa.»
J’ai dit: «Moi aussi.» Mais j’ai été tellement emporté par cette masse de foi qui avait enveloppé cette salle au point que c’était, oh! comme si Dieu avait frayé une issue pour chacun de nous, et comme nous pouvons prêcher la Parole... La–la Parole est ici, mais ce n’est pas vous qui lisez la Parole et qui dites: «Je crois cela», mais vous recevez la Parole. Vous devez La recevoir.
| E-30 And nineteen hundred years has past, and every time a revival breaks out, any time in Bible history, or in the world's history, signs and wonders has accompanied that revival. God is in the camp. He's Jehovah-jireh, the Lord has provided a sacrifice for your healing. Do you believe it? Then, there's only one thing to do; that is to receive it now.
As I was speaking this afternoon to this little audience here, I thought I'd come down and talk to them a little while, and I found myself preaching so hard, I believe they could've heard me without a microphone down at the second corner. And then, my boy said to me, said, "I thought you was going to teach this afternoon, daddy?"
I said, "I thought so too." But I just got so carried away with that bundle of faith that had wrapped in this building, till what it was, how God had made a way of escape for every one of us, and how that if we can preach the Word... The--the Word's laying here, but it's not you that reads the Word and say, "I believe it," but you receives the Word. You've got to receive It.

E-31 La terre doit recevoir le blé pour reproduire la vie. Et vous devez recevoir la Parole de Dieu dans votre coeur pour reproduire ce que la Parole dit qu’il y aura. Chaque Parole de Dieu est une Semence. Jésus a dit que C’en était Une. Le semeur est allé semer des semences. Il a dit que la semence, c’était la Parole de Dieu.
Et maintenant, remarquez, un grain de maïs reproduira du maïs; le blé, le blé; l’orge, l’orge. Quoi que ça puisse être, ça se reproduira. Et si la Parole de Dieu est une Semence, comme l’a dit Jésus, et qu’Elle est placée dans le coeur humain, et que là, Elle est arrosée par la foi, Elle reproduira tout ce que Dieu a dit dans Sa Parole qu’Elle devrait reproduire. Elle se reproduira. Si vous avez besoin de salut: «Venez à Moi vous tous qui êtes chargés et fatigués, Je vous donnerai du repos.» Si vous avez besoin de guérison: «Il a été blessé pour vos péchés, c’est par Ses meurtrissures que vous avez été guéri.» Dieu a pourvu au Sacrifice pour le péché et pour la maladie. Les soucis, les ennuis, les chagrins, toutes ces choses, Dieu a pourvu au sacrifice. Il est ici ce soir.
| E-31 The ground has to receive the wheat in order to reproduce life. And you have to receive the Word of God in your heart to produce what the Word says it will be. Every Word of God is a Seed. Jesus said it was. The sower went forth sowing seeds; He said the seed was the Word of God.
And now notice, a corn will bring forth a corn, a wheat a wheat, a barley a barley. Whatever it may be, it'll produce. And if God's Word is a Seed, as Jesus said It was, and It's placed in the human heart, and there, watered by faith, It'll produce anything that God said in His Word that It would do. It'll produce. If you need salvation, "Come unto Me all ye that labor and heavy laden, I'll give you rest." If you need healing, "He was wounded for your transgressions, with His stripes you were healed." God has provided the sacrifice for sin and sickness. And worry, and trouble, and sorrows, and all these things, God has provided the Sacrifice. He's here tonight.

E-32 Maintenant, j’espère qu’au Nom de Jésus-Christ, le Fils de Dieu, Il viendra et me permettra ce soir, à moi, Son serviteur inutile... Il utilisera mon corps que voici pour élever... et utiliser ma voix comme la Sienne, comme un emblème pour vous, que Jésus-Christ, le Fils de Dieu ressuscité vit parmi nous ce soir. Puissiez-vous recevoir cela comme Son Sacrifice auquel il a été pourvu, non pas moi, mais Lui qui est ici, Son Sacrifice auquel il a été pourvu pour la maladie et les péchés ce soir. Il est présent. Il est ici maintenant.
Je pense qu’on a des photos ici ce soir, je pense. Beaucoup parmi vous ont vu Sa photo. J’ai été appelé il y a quelques instants par un homme qui voulait savoir si je reviendrai à Chicago, d’ici peu, avec une très énorme chose qui couvrirait toute la ville et tout comme cela. Et il venait d’assister aux réunions, il a dit: «C’est ça. C’est ce dont Chicago a besoin.» Il a dit: «Cela ne se répand pas assez, c’est tout.» Et il voulait que les journaux et autres le répandent.
| E-32 Now, I trust, that in Jesus Christ's Name, the Son of God, that He will come and let me tonight, His unprofitable servant, or use this body of mine to lift up and use my voice as His, as an ensign to you, that Jesus Christ, the resurrected Son of God, lives among us tonight. May you receive this as His provided Sacrifice, not me, but Him that's standing here, His provided Sacrifice for your sickness and sins tonight. He's present. He's here now.
I think they had the pictures here tonight, I believe. Many of you seen the picture of His Being. I was called awhile ago by a man that wanted to know if I'd return to Chicago after while with a great wide thing, that would spread all over the whole city, and so forth like that. And he'd just been in the meetings; he said, "That's it. That's what Chicago needs." He said, "It just don't out far enough that's all." And wanted newspapers and things to get to it.

Que Dieu vous bénisse pendant que nous prions.
| E-33 Now, the thing... They got the picture. There's... It's had the picture taken several times. There it is in the book. There's the photostatic copy of what the--George J. Lacy said about it, and so forth. There's another picture that a newspaper photographer got one time. It's in there and so forth. It's right here now at this platform. You might not be able to see it, visible. Maybe you can; I do not know. I know that He's here. But if He is here, He will speak visibly that you'll be able to know that He's here. And that's an ensign to you, that God has provided Jesus Christ for you at Calvary. And I say to you as His servant, that your healing has already been completed nineteen hundred years ago at Calvary. And the only thing you have to do is to look and live. God bless you, while we pray.

E-34 Père céleste, ce soir, au Nom de Ton Fils bien-aimé, Jésus, nous L’aimons, parce qu’Il nous a donné ce grand Emblème ici, en effet, Il nous a donné le Saint-Esprit comme preuve de Sa résurrection, nous Te remercions, parce qu’Il nous a lavés de nos péchés. C’est par Son propre Sang qu’Il l’a fait, et Il nous a rachetés pour Dieu. Nous qui autrefois étions étrangers, nous nous sommes maintenant approchés de Dieu, au point que nous sommes devenus des fils et des filles. Et nous savons cette glorieuse promesse, qu’un glorieux jour, tout sera terminé, nous nous assiérons dans le Royaume. Ces corps frêles et mortels seront changés. Ils seront quittes de maladie, de mort, de vieillesse, du chagrin... et nous nous assiérons à Ses pieds dans le Royaume, sous les conifères, près du Trône.
Que Dieu nous aide à attendre cela impatiemment. Et pendant que nous sommes ici ce soir, dans ce pèlerinage, comme l’était Israël dont nous parlions... Combien Tu avais pourvu pour eux à la nourriture tout au long du chemin jusqu’à leur arrivée dans le nouveau pays! Tu avais fait tomber du ciel la manne en abondance. Tu avais amené les cailles au camp par le vent. Tu avais fait sortir l’eau du rocher. Tu avais donné le miel du rocher. Tu avais pourvu à tout ce dont ils avaient besoin. Lorsqu’ils tombaient malades, Tu pourvoyais à l’expiation. Tu avais élevé le serpent d’airain par les mains de Moïse comme un emblème. Et ce soir, Seigneur, nous sommes contents de savoir que Tu nous as rachetés du péché. Et ce soir, nous avons cette glorieuse communion avec le Saint-Esprit. Nous Te remercions pour ces croyants ici ce soir, qui sont venus communier autour de la Parole, la prédication de la Parole.
Et maintenant, nous demandons que le Saint-Esprit, qui est dans la salle présentement, oigne chaque personne ici présente, et puissions-nous voir l’oeuvre de la reproduction de la Vie de Ton Fils bien-aimé, le Seigneur Jésus, qui se tenait devant les gens et leur disait ce qu’ils faisaient, ce qu’ils pensaient, ce qu’ils feraient, ce qui arriverait. La femme au puits et autres... Et toutes ces oeuvres, Il a dit: «Je ne fais que ce que Je vois premièrement faire au Père.» Et nous sommes heureux ce soir de ce qu’Il nous a promis que nous ferions les mêmes oeuvres. | E-34 Heavenly Father tonight, in the Name of Thy dear Child, Jesus, we love Him, because He has give us this great ensign here, that He has give us the Holy Spirit as a witness of His resurrection. We thank Thee, because that He washed us from our sins. By His own Blood He did this, and has redeemed us to God. We who were once aliens has now been made nigh to God, insomuch that we're sons and daughters. And knowing this great promise, that some glorious day it'll all be over, we'll set down the kingdom. These frail, mortal bodies will be changed. Free from sickness, free from death, from old age, from sorrow... And we'll set down at His feet in the Kingdom, under the evergreen trees near the throne.
God help us to look forward to that. And while we're here tonight, in this journey, as Israel was that we just spoke of... How You provided for them food along the road until they got into the new land, You rained manna down out of heaven. You blowed quails into the camp. You got water out of the rock. You got honey from the rock. You provided everything they had need of. When they were sick, You provided an atonement. You lifted the brass serpent by the hands of Moses as an ensign. And tonight, Lord, we're happy to know Thou has redeemed us from sin. And tonight, we have this great fellowship with the Holy Spirit. We thank Thee for these believers here tonight, who's come out to fellowship around the Word, the preaching of the Word.
And now, we ask that the Holy Ghost that's in the building now, will anoint everyone in here, and may we see the working of the reproduction of the Life of Thy dear Son, the Lord Jesus, Who stood and told the people what they were doing, what they were thinking, what they would do, and what would happen. The woman at the well, and so forth... And all these things, He said, "I do nothing except the Father shows Me first what to do." And we're happy tonight, that He promised us that we'd do the same things. And now, Father, we pray that You'll fulfill that Word, in the Name of Thy dear Child we pray. Amen.

E-35 Maintenant, amis chrétiens, soirée après soirée, semaine après semaine, mois après mois, année après année, je me tiens sur des estrades dans diverses parties du monde pour essayer de parler de notre Seigneur Jésus, essayer de rendre service aux nécessiteux de tout mon coeur. Je vais vous demander ce soir, c’est une chose sérieuse, et je... Franchement, je... vous pouvez être en désaccord avec moi, c’est-à-dire sur la doctrine, mais si vous êtes en désaccord avec moi, accordez assez de respect à Dieu ce soir pour rester assis pendant un moment, et soyez respectueux pendant ce service. Ne vous déplacez pas. Si vous le faites, cela va déranger. Ça ne sert à rien pour moi de vous l’expliquer, parce que je suis sûr que vous ne le comprendrez pas. Moi même, je ne le comprends pas. Mais on contacte chaque esprit dans la salle. On sait où ils sont. Et puis, lorsqu’il y a des déplacements, des agitations, ça interrompt. Si vous voulez tirer le meilleur de la réunion, soyez respectueux. Soyez en prière. Nous ne resterons pas ici très longtemps.
| E-35 Now, Christian friend, night after night, week after week, month after month, years after year, I stand on platforms in different parts of the world to try to speak of our Lord Jesus, trying to minister to the needy with all my heart. I'm going to ask you tonight, it's a serious thing. And I... Honestly, I... You may not agree with me, that is, doctrinally speaking, but if you don't agree with me give God enough respects tonight to remain seated awhile, and be reverent during the time of this service. Don't move around. You do, it interferes. There's no need of me trying to explain to you, 'cause I'm sure you wouldn't understand. I don't myself. But you contact each spirit in the building. You know where they're at. And then, when that shifting around, and moving in and out, that interrupts. If you want to get the best from the meeting, be reverent. Be in prayer. We don't stay here very long.

E-36 Et alors, quand Jésus était ici sur terre... Et moi, en tant qu’homme, je ne pourrais pas le faire, je voudrais savoir pourquoi, quand et comment. Mais le Christ qui est dans mon coeur dit: «C’est Moi, Je suis mort pour cette personne-là.» Voyez? C’est donc tout à fait en ordre. Voyez? Peu importe ce que vous faites, je vous aime toujours malgré tout, je ne le dis pas du bout des lèvres, c’est du fond de mon coeur. Et chaque chrétien fait de même tant que Jésus demeure dans le coeur.
Eh bien, je suis ici uniquement pour aider. Vous direz: «Eh bien, je–je ne peux pas croire ça.» Eh bien, des millions ont été guéris. Ce soir, je pense, que si on lançait un appel à travers le monde pour avoir des témoignages, il y aurait peut-être des millions de gens sourds, muets, aveugles, estropiés, des gens aux membres tordus et des gens souffrant de toutes sortes de maladies qui pourraient se lever et témoigner: «Nous avons été guéris par la puissance de Dieu.» L’un d’eux pourrait suffire comme confirmation, mais des millions peuvent se lever.
| E-36 And now, when Jesus was here on earth... And let me say another thing, if you are an unbeliever or a skeptic, I would advise you not to stay in the meeting, because let it be known unto you that diseases goes from one to another. Many's been in the meetings know that that's Scripturally, and it does do it, from one to another. So I wouldn't stay where evil spirits will be at large. I do not say that to scare you. I say that because I love you. Even though you may an unbeliever or skeptic, that don't keep me from loving you. I do anyhow, 'cause it's not me that does the loving; it's the Lord Jesus in my heart that makes me love you. See? And me, as a man, I wouldn't do; I'd want to know why, when and how. But the Christ in my hearts says, "This is Me; I died for that person." See? So it's all right. See? No matter what you do, I still love you any how, not from my lips, from my heart. And every Christian does the same thing as long as Jesus abides in the heart.
Now, I'm only here to help. You say, "Well, I--I couldn't believe it." Well, millions has been healed. Tonight, I guess, if it was called worldwide, for statements, there could be millions of people that's deaf, dumb, blind, crippled, twisted, and all kinds of diseases that could stand with statements, "Healed by the power of God." One of them would be a confirmation, but millions could stand.

E-37 Si donc vous êtes un incroyant, je suis désolé pour vous. Mon coeur saigne pour vous, parce que vous n’y pouvez rien. Vous êtes destiné à cela, dit la Bible. Rappelez-vous: «Nul ne peut venir à Moi si Mon Père ne l’attire premièrement.» Si donc vous êtes un incroyant, pensez à la situation où vous êtes ce soir. Si vous êtes un critiqueur, vous êtes en dehors de Dieu, en dehors de Christ, vous êtes perdu, sans espoir, sans secours, vous êtes en route vers l’enfer, aucun signe de rédemption pour vous, nulle part, si vous êtes un incroyant. Quelle situation pitoyable où se trouver! Je préférerais me retrouver dans une quelconque situation dans le monde plutôt que d’être dans celle-là, dans n’importe quelle autre situation en dehors de cela. Vous êtes étranger à Dieu, vous ne serez jamais avec Dieu; vous serez dans les ténèbres pendant tous les âges éternels à venir.
| E-37 So if you're an unbeliever, I feel sorry for you. My heart bleeds for you, 'cause you can't help that. You were borned to that destination, says the Bible. You were born to be an unbeliever, and you're lost. Very, very doubtful you'll ever be saved, because the Bible said that these people were fore-ordained of old to take this place.
And if you're a believer tonight, you should be the happiest person in the world. And if you're on the fence tonight (as we called, a worldly expression, "on the fence"), don't know which way to turn. God's still having mercy on you. Please turn to the believing side tonight, that Christ can be kind to you and save you, while you have a day of mercy left. Remember, "No man can come to Me, except My Father draws him first." So if you're an unbeliever, just think where you're standing tonight. If you're a critic, you're outside of God, outside of Christ, you're lost, hopeless, helpless, on your road to hell, no sign of redemption for you nowhere, if you're an unbeliever. What a pitiful shape to be in. I'd rather be in any other shape in the world than to be like that, anything else besides that. You're alienated from God, will never be with God; you'll be in darkness all through eternal ages to come.

| E-38 If you're a believer, and believe on the Lord, and He's reconciled you, or recognized your faith by giving you the Seal of His promise, the Holy Ghost, you have the assurance of being with Him in glory forever. There's the two crowds tonight.
The Bible said, "In the last days that He'd have signs and wonders moving amongst the people." He'd have scoffers making fun and laughing, like they did in the beginning. We've got both crowds in Chicago tonight. What side are you on?

| E-39 Someone wrote me a little note, said, "I don't care what you would do, you'll never make me believe it." Now, you know where that person is? He's lost, without God. And yet, he's an elder in a church, said he was. You can't--if they can't believe, they just can't believe. How could I make myself a porcupine? I couldn't do it. A leopard cannot clean his spots. So if you've happy in Christ tonight, be thankful.
The way I have to minister is by Divine gift of the Spirit, of a seeing Spirit, that foresees. May I explain it, just briefly?
Jesus and every apostle or most of the apostles were in the same way, especially Paul and Peter. There's nothing said about the rest of them, only Ananias.

E-40 Ecoutez donc, ces dons et ces appels sont sans repentir. C’est votre subconscient qui est en contact avec Dieu, qui montre des choses en avance, celles qui ont été et qui seront. Les gens disaient: «C’est le plus grand diseur de bonne aventure qui ait jamais piétiné la surface de la terre. C’est Béelzébul en personne», le prince des démons.
Mais Ses disciples et ceux qui L’aimaient, disaient: «Il est le Fils de Dieu.» Eh bien, vous pouvez faire votre choix ce soir. Jésus a dit: «Les oeuvres que... Je ne fais rien de Moi-même, mais Je vois d’abord cela se faire au Père, ensuite le Fils aussi le fait pareillement.» Saint Jean 5.19: «En vérité, en vérité, Je vous le dis, le Fils ne peut rien faire de Lui-même, Il ne fait que ce qu’Il voit faire au Père, le Fils aussi le fait pareillement. Mon Père agit jusqu’à présent, Moi aussi, J’agis.»
| E-40 Now notice, these gifts and callings are without repentance. It's your subconscious in connection with God, that foreshows you things that was and will be. You get what I mean? Jesus of Nazareth, if--when He was here on earth, He looked out over His audiences, He could see people, and He'd tell them just what they done, and what was wrong, where they'd been, what was wrong with them. He talked to a woman at the well, told her. He said to Philip, He knowed where he had been. Many places... He knowed where a fish was, had a coin in its mouth. Many things that He did... The people said, "He was the greatest fortune-teller ever stood on earth. He was Beelzebub, himself," the prince of the devils.
But His disciples and the ones that loved Him, said, "He was the Son of God."
Now, you can take your choice tonight. Jesus said, "The things that... I do nothing in Myself, but first I see the Father do it, and then the Son does likewise." Saint John 5:19. "Verily, verily I said unto you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He seeth the Father doing, that doeth the Son likewise. The Father worketh and I worketh hitherto."

| E-41 Watch every Scripture, if it don't bear record with that, Jesus--God giving Christ a sign or a vision what to do before He did it. A blind man touched His faith, so they turned around and asked him what would he do? He said, "That I might receive my sight."
He said, "Your faith has saved you."
A woman touched His garment and walked out there with a satisfaction that she was going to get healed. Jesus turned around looking for her, see somebody touched Him, looked around; He said, "Thy faith has saved thee."
Now, that same Jesus, as He went away He said, "These things that I do, shall you also." And it would be a sign to the end of the world that He was the same yesterday, today, and forever. Me, as one, I believe it with all my heart, soul, and mind. May you do likewise.

| E-43 Now, the audience reverent as you can be. Don't stir. Just remain in your seats, if you can. Be reverent. Be expecting to see the Lord Jesus move into the building, move out over His people, and bless them, and do the very things that He said He would do.
While you're setting there, many of you in the building tonight, realize and understand that these few people that's being lined up here, are just a portion of the people that will be healed tonight. There's many more healed out in the audience than there is on the platform. How many's been in my future--my meeting before, and knows that to be the truth? There's ten healed to one here. The only thing you have to do is to have faith and believe. Now, if you can believe, God will heal you.

But I want to ask you something. You know I do not know you. Now, we just got plenty of time; don't be in any rush. See, see? You get to rushing, the Holy Spirit is very timid. And I don't want you to rush, I want you to be reverent, like you have plenty of time. Then I want you to be deep in prayer, and do this, while this song is being played, "Then Jesus Came," delivered the maniacs. He set the captive free. He's here tonight to do the same thing. If you want to place a "if" across the Bible, the Word of God is always right. Is that it? The Word of God said, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever," the same Jesus. Is that right?
Jesus said He would be the same, "I'll be with you, even in you."

Maintenant, je peux de façon surnaturelle, avec l’aide de Dieu, savoir quelque chose, et Dieu peut me révéler ce qui s’est passé ou, d’une façon ou d’une autre, cela encouragerait votre foi. Pour vous qui êtes étrangers ici ce soir, si Jésus-Christ venait ici et qu’Il se tenait ici ce soir... L’unique ch-... En ce qui concerne la guérison, ou votre salut, Il ne peut pas le faire. Il l’a déjà fait. Est-ce vrai? Combien croient cela? Levez la main. Il a déjà guéri les malades. Tout ce qu’Il peut alors faire, en tant que Roi des prophètes, le Prophète de tous les prophètes, pourtant, Il était un Prophète... Moïse a dit: «L’Eternel, ton Dieu, te suscitera un Prophète comme moi. Celui qui ne L’écoutera pas sera retranché du milieu de Son peuple.»
| E-45 Now, it won't be us doing it. He said, "It would be Him doing it in us." See? It's not us. Don't misunderstand it. We're just yielded vessels, as ministers, as gifted people for the church. If you need salvation, we have clergy setting here who can preach the Gospel with great power. That can tell you just what it means to be saved and how to get saved. If for sickness, then I cannot heal you, no more than I could save you. But God has given me a gift, and that gift is a seer that sees visions. As He said in the last days, "Your young men shall see visions. Your old man will dream dreams." It's a fulfilling of the Bible, and how that these things would be.
Now, I might be able to in the way of phenomenal, by the help of God, know something, and God would reveal to me something that had taken place or someway whether--would encourage your faith. To you strangers, here tonight, if Jesus Christ would come here and stand here tonight... The only th... As far as healing, or saving you, He could not do it. He's already done it. Is that right? How many believes that, raise your hands? He's already healed the sick. The only thing He could do then, as being the King of prophets, the Prophet of all prophets, yet, He was a Prophet... Moses said, "The Lord, your God, shall raise a Prophet liken unto me. It'll come to pass that th--who won't hear Him will be cut off from among the people."

Only He would just have to tell them something. As far as healing, they--they could not heal them, because He's already done it. His sacrifice was complete. It was finished there. But these gifts are to bring you to what was finished at Calvary. Do you understand? Say, "Amen."
Gifts of preaching, teaching, all kind of prophetic gifts are to bring you to a realization of what happened at Calvary, that you just to enjoy and receive the attributes of Calvary, not produce the--the attributes, to bring you to the knowledge of what has been done. The sacrifice has done been provided. We're just to get you to look that way and believe. The Lord bless you.

That's exactly right. I am. I'm waiting till I feel His Presence, and know that the anointing is on me. I have a way of yielding myself. I stand on the street and do it. I stand down by the lakeside and do it, when it's necessary. And the Holy Spirit comes when I'm talking to someone that's in distress and trouble. And right there on the street or anywhere it meets, It'll tell them just exactly what they must do and so forth. There's many people in here, could raise up their hands as a witness of that, knowing that's the truth. See? How many knows that's true? Raise up your hands. See what I mean? Et cette femme se trouve au Canada, et si je disais, cette ville, ça me semble être Saskatchewan. Elle souffre du cancer. C’est votre parenté. Cette femme était... Elle a une fois cherché à m’atteindre, et j’ai manqué d’aller dans cette ville, en effet, une tempête de neige m’avait empêché d’y aller, vous êtes venue la représenter. Est-ce vrai? Ce n’était pas ma voix, soeur, c’était Sa voix.

The woman was--once tried to get to me, and I failed to be at the place, because of a snow storm that held me up, and you've come to stand in her stead. It that true? Now, do you believe you're standing in His Presence? If I shall ask for the blessing that you ask for tonight, and you, with your faith, believing that He is here to here, will you receive what you've asked for?

Voudriez-vous faire de même, madame, pour la vie de cet enfant? Le servir? Que Dieu vous bénisse. Franchement, vous avez cherché à avoir une marche plus intime pour trouver faveur auprès de Dieu, afin que le diabète dont souffre ce petit garçon le quitte et qu’il se rétablisse. N’est-ce pas vrai? En effet, qu’un enfant de cet âge souffre du diabète, c’est terrible. Mais qui a créé le sang de l’homme? C’est Dieu. Vous croyez, et vous aviez même foi que si j’imposais les mains à cet enfant, il se rétablirait. N’est-ce pas vrai? Oui, oui.
Maintenant, venez ici, madame. Si le Seigneur Jésus était ici, Il vous dirait ce genre de choses. Et Il t’imposerait les mains et te bénirait. Tu te rétablirais. Maintenant, tu n’es qu’un petit garçon, mais Jésus est allé auprès du Père, Il a dû donner Sa Vie mortelle afin que tu sois guéri, car c’est par Son Sang qu’Il a payé le prix du péché et de la maladie. Et Il a donné Sa Vie, Son Sang pour cela, mais Il est revenu dans la puissance du Saint-Esprit, et Il utilise Son Eglise, Ses prédicateurs pour imposer les mains aux malades, afin que ceux-ci soient guéris comme Il a ordonné de le faire.
Maintenant, crois-tu que si je t’impose les mains et que je demande en Son Nom, Lui qui a pu me dire ce qu’est ta maladie, ce que faisait ta mère, tout sur ta vie, crois-tu que si je le Lui demandais maintenant cette maladie quitterait ton corps, que tu deviendrais un homme en bonne santé et que tu Le servirais?
Ô Dieu, bénis ce petit garçon, que je bénis en Ton Nom. Et, Père divin, Toi qui fais circuler le sang dans mon corps en cet instant-ci, Toi qui fais circuler le sang dans son corps, Satan a causé ce mal, et je demande que Satan quitte ce jeune garçon. Sors de lui, toi ennemi, au Nom de Jésus-Christ. Peut-être que le médecin n’a pas pu te toucher, mais Dieu est plus que toi. Quitte donc ce petit garçon au Nom de Jésus-Christ, le Sacrifice auquel Dieu a pourvu pour la guérison. Amen. Que les bénédictions reposent sur toi, petit garçon. Cela te quittera. Que Dieu te bénisse. Cesse de t’inquiéter. Réjouis-toi. Que Dieu te bénisse.

God bless you. Frankly, you've been trying a little closer walk to find favor with God, that the diabetes of this child would leave, and he would get well. Isn't that right? 'Cause a child of that age with diabetes is in a terrible condition. But Who made the blood of man? God did. You believe, and even had faith if I lay hands on that child, that he'd get well. Isn't that true? Uh-huh.
Now, come here, laddy. The Lord Jesus was here, He'd tell you them kind of a things. And He'd lay His hands upon you, and bless you. You'd get well. Now, your just a laddy boy, but Jesus went up to the Father, He had to give His mortal Life, that you could be healed, for it's through His Blood, He paid the price of sin and sickness. And He gave His Life, His Blood, for that, but He's returned again in the power of the Holy Spirit, and using His church, His ministers, to lay hands on the sick, to get well as He told them to do.
Now, do you believe that if I lay my hands on you, and ask in His Name, He Who could tell me what your trouble is, what your mother's been doing, and all about your life, do you believe that if I'd ask Him now, that that disease would leave your body, and you'd be a good well man, and would serve Him?
God, bless this lad, who I bless in Your Name. And Father, God, Who makes the blood beat through my body at this minute, and Thou does make the blood that beats through His body, Satan has done the evil, and I ask that Satan removes from the boy. Come out of him, thou enemy, in the Name of Jesus Christ. You may not be handled by the doctor, but God is more than you are. So leave the boy, though Jesus Christ's Name, God's provided Sacrifice for healing. Amen.

Do you believe that? Now, doctors do all they can do, but their men like I am. Now, I can do all I can do. That is, do what Jesus told me to do. Now, can you do what He told you to do? Believe. "Whatsoever thing you desire, when you pray, believe you receive, you shall have it." Can you believe that with all your heart? Can you overshadow all of everything else, and just walk and say, "Tonight, I am healed by the Lord Jesus Christ. I'm standing here now by a man, that I believe to be His servant. I walk up here as a stranger to him; he tells me what's wrong with me, and tells me that Jesus wants to heal me, if I'll only believe it." Will you accept it? Then come forward.

Je te demande que cela s’accomplisse au vu de tous maintenant même. Et cette femme est privée du privilège d’entendre l’Evangile. Cet esprit de surdité qui l’a liée de telle façon qu’elle ne peut pas entendre, alors Père, elle ne peut pas avoir foi comme elle le devrait, si elle entendait l’Evangile. Alors, je réclame un miracle. Je réclame la restauration de l’ouïe de cette femme. Et, accorde-le, Père, pour Ta gloire. Si Ton serviteur a trouvé grâce à Tes yeux, qu’il en soit ainsi ce soir, pour Ta gloire et pour servir d’Emblème à Chicago, car ils doivent se repentir, sinon la destruction les attend. Je Te prie d’accorder cette bénédiction par Jésus, Ton Fils.
Et maintenant, Satan, toi qui as rendu cette femme sourde, je t’ordonne par le Dieu vivant et par le Fils du Dieu vivant que je représente ici, par un don de guérison divine qui m’a été donné par l’Ange, sors de cette femme. Tu ne peux pas la retenir.

Now, if she... This deaf spirit has her bound that she cannot hear, then Father, she cannot have faith like she would if she could hear the Gospel. Then I ask for a miracle. I ask to restore the hearing of this woman. And grant it, Father, for Your glory. If Thy servant has found grace in Thy sight, let it be so tonight, for Your glory and for an ensign to Chicago that they must repent or destruction lays ahead. I pray that You'll grant these blessing through Jesus, Thy Son.
And now, Satan, you who deafened the woman, I charge thee by the living God, and by the Son of the living God, Whom I represent here, by a gift of Divine healing, ministered to me by an Angel, come out of the woman. You can't hold her.

Eh bien, cela suivait la femme qui était juste... ça venait dans cette direction. C’est juste à côté d’elle. Cela reste... Oh! C’est la dame assise là en robe rose, avec la tête inclinée. C’est vous qui étiez en prière pour être guérie du diabète. C’est vrai, n’est-ce pas? C’est vrai. Et ce...ce que... cet esprit suivait la dame...

She's in prayer. She's suffering with diabetes. You believe, lady, with all your heart? You believe that Jesus... You were in prayer. You were believing. He heard your prayer. The lady... I see what it was. Remain standing just a moment. That lady that was just healed, wasn't that diabetic also? That's where that spirit was calling from. Oh, it was you in prayer to be healed of diabetes. Isn't that right? That is true. And that--what that spirit was following the lady...

Une femme a été guérie du diabète ici à l’estrade, elle s’en allait, je n’ai pas vu cette femme, et le Saint-Esprit, par Sa grâce, a suivi cette femme jusqu’à ce que Cela l’a rattrapée là même et elle s’est arrêtée. Satan, sachant que son heure était arrivée, le Saint-Esprit a indiqué la femme. Je n’avais point vu cela auparavant comme ça.
Vous êtes une croyante, soeur, n’est-ce pas? Vous êtes aussi... C’est votre mari qui est ici devant. Est-ce vrai? Il souffre des nerfs. C’est vrai, n’est-ce pas? Je ne suis pas en train de lire vos pensées. C’est votre enfant qui est affligé. C’est vrai, n’est-ce pas? Vous avez aussi une fille, n’est-ce pas vrai? Elle est dans un institut biblique. A lady was healed with diabetes here on the platform, moved around, and I missed the woman, and the Holy Spirit, with grace, following this woman till It got right there and stopped. Satan knowing his time had come, the Holy Spirit pointing the woman out. I never seen It before like that.
You're a believer, sister, are you? You're also... That's your husband in front of you there. Is that right? He's suffering with a nervous trouble. Isn't that right? I'm not reading your mind. That's your child that's afflicted. Isn't that right? You also have a daughter, isn't that right? She's in Bible school. Isn't that right. She has a growth. God, make you well in Jesus Christ's Name.
