| E-10 But, lot of times I pick up something another here, along in the Scripture. But sometimes the Lord gives me something, and just tickles me to death when I get a hold of something that's real good. I just, oh, it just does me so much good. We all feel that way. I know Brother Neville, you, and brethren here, Brother Junior, and all of you, you feel the same way, when you get something the Lord gives you, and you see it's just so real. |

| E-11 And the other night, I was preaching, I believe it was the tabernacle, and I struck something that's done me more good than anything I've thought of since I been converted. And that was… I might repeat it again, if it's all right. I know where you know where I'm going to, but, it was that evidence of salvation. See? I… It just struck me, and I—I said it. I went home, I got in my room, and I walked up-and-down the floor. I—I just had a little, good time by myself, you know, just in there thinking about it. |

| E-13 And I was thinking, we possess love, joy, courage. We possess faith, and long-suffering, gentleness, patience, meekness. You couldn't buy that with no kind of money. No matter, there's not… Go down and buy me a quarter's worth of patience, you see. Just couldn't do it. And, but yet, God gives us that. We possess that. That's our possession. And then buy us a little faith. We'd be willing, give all we had, for a little faith. You see? But, it's give to us, and everything is free, coming from the Lord. Isn't that wonderful? |

E-14 Et puis j'ai pensé à ceci: quand Israël, autrefois esclave, les enfants de Dieu dans l'esclavage là en Egypte... | E-14 Then I thought of this: when Israel, once a slave, God's children in bondage, down in Egypt. Now, that was God's heritage, just as we are today. And then would probably bring them something to eat, a bunch of molded bread, and throw it out, and anything they get a hold of. Kill one, it just like killing a dog or anything else. And they longed for a deliverance out of there. They had been in there four hundred years. |

E-15 Puis un jour, un prophète s'amena là d'un pas lourd, venant du désert accompagné d'une - une Lumière, et il leur dit qu'il existait un pays où coulent le lait et le miel, pays que Dieu leur avait donné. Et il accomplit des signes et des merveilles pour leur montrer qu'il n'était pas un imposteur, un hypocrite, mais que Dieu l'avait réellement commissionné pour amener ces gens dans le pays en question.
| E-15 Then one day, come stomping down out of the wilderness, come a prophet, with a—a Light following him. And he told them, "There's a land that's flowing with milk and honey, and God had give it to them." And he done signs and wonders, to show them that he was not a bogus, a false something, but he was actually commissioned of God to take those people to that land. |

E-16 Maintenant, pensez-y. Leurs enfants... les surveillants d'esclaves venaient, s'ils voulaient en tuer un, il n'y avait pas de problème. On n'y pouvait rien. Go and take your young daughter over, for some havoc, why, nothing could be said. Just have to stand there, and let her go off. See? Your boy, kind of got… didn't work just right, and they want to kill him for it. Kill him, that's all right, nothing could be said. |

E-17 Mais alors, on leur dit qu'ils vont sortir de cet esclavage pour aller dans un pays où coulent le lait et le miel. Ils auraient leur propre ferme. Ils cultiveraient leurs propres produits, nourriraient leurs enfants, les enverraient à l'école, et vivraient en paix, et que ce beau pays leur appartiendrait. Vous savez, c'était une glorieuse promesse. Pensez à ce que cela représentait.
| E-17 But now they're told that they're coming out of this bondage, and they're going to a land that's flowing with milk and honey. And they can have their own farm. They can raise their own stuff, feed their own children, send them to school, live in peace. And the great land, and it belongs to them. You know, that was a great promise. Think of what that meant. |

| E-19 And when they got over to Kadesh-barnea, now, the Kadesh-barnea is the judgment seat. It was at that day, to the world. Kadesh-barnea, it was a place was a great big spring, and many little springs, little tributaries to this spring. |

E-20 Bien, il y avait parmi eux un homme, un grand guerrier du nom de Josué ("Josué" signifie "Jéhovah Sauveur"), et Josué entra dans la Terre Promise.
| E-20 Well, there they had a man among them, a great warrior, named Joshua. Joshua is "Jehovah-Saviour." And Joshua went over into the promised land. |

E-21 Bon, souvenez-vous, aucun d'eux n'y avait jamais été. Ils ne savaient pas si oui ou non le pays existait réellement. Par la foi, ils se sont mis en route, tout simplement sur base de ce qui leur avait été dit, à savoir que Dieu leur avait réservé un endroit. Et c'est juste par la foi qu'ils étaient en route vers cet endroit. Imaginez-vous donc cela. Ils quittèrent l'Egypte, et c'est Dieu qui les fit sortir, et ils approchèrent alors du pays. Et lorsqu'ils approchèrent du pays, Josué entra dans le pays et ramena l'évidence. Il traversa le Jourdain, entra en Palestine, ramena l'évidence, une énorme grappe de raisins qui nécessitait deux hommes pour être transportée. Et ils purent manger ces raisins. Et il dit: "Le pays est exactement tel que décrit par Dieu."
| E-21 Now, remember, none of them had never been there. They didn't know whether the land was actually there or not. They just, by faith, went by what was told them, that God had a place for them. And they was going to that place, just by faith. Now think of that. Left Egypt, and God brought them out, and now they're nearing that land. And when they get near the land, Joshua goes over into the land and brings back the evidence. Crosses Jordan, goes over into Palestine, brings back the evidence, great bunch of grapes that taken two men to pack. And they could eat those grapes. And he said, "The land is just exactly what God said it was." |

E-22 Oh, quelle liberté ce serait là où ils pouvaient aller maintenant. Et ils pourraient avoir leurs propres fermes, et élever leurs enfants. Et avoir... et avoir les bénédictions de Dieu, et vivre en paix. Nul ne serait esclave. Comment... | E-22 Oh, what a freedom that was, where they could go now. And they could have their own farms, and raise their children. And have… and God's blessings upon them, and live in peace. There was nobody's slave. How… But, finally, after they lived a good long life, they finally had to die, yet being God's children. It went on for year after year, raising their crops, and having their families, and good peaceful life, and then die. |

E-23 Et puis, un jour vint le plus grand Guerrier, le Seigneur Jésus, le Fils de Dieu. Et Il dit: "Il existe un Pays où l'homme ne meurt point. Dans la maison de Mon Père il y a plusieurs demeures. S'il n'en était pas ainsi, Je vous l'aurais dit. Je pars vous préparer une place, puis, Je reviendrai vous prendre." Eh bien, Il est ce Prophète qui est venu, qui parlait d'un Pays qui est juste de l'autre côté du fleuve Jourdain (la mort), là où ce... Même si vous possédez des fermes, même si vous avez une famille, même si Dieu vous bénit, vous devez néanmoins mourir. Mais cependant, il y a un Pays de l'autre côté, où l'on ne meurt point. Oh! la la!
| E-23 Then, one day, down come the greatest Warrior of all, the Lord Jesus, the Son of God. And He said, "There is a Land where a man don't die. In My Father's house is many mansions. It wasn't so, I would have told you. I go and prepare a place, and return to receive you." Now, He's the Prophet that come, speaking of a Land just beyond the river Jordan, death. Where, that, even though you got your farms, you got your families, you're blessed of God, but yet you have to die. But, yet, there's a Land beyond that, where you don't die. Oh, my! |

E-24 Ensuite, Il arriva à Kadès-Barnéa, le Calvaire, encore un trône de jugement, où la peine du péché, lequel avait entraîné la mort de l'homme, fut payée lors du jugement, à Kadès-Barnéa. Il paya la peine du péché, mourut, traversa le Jourdain, le Jourdain de la mort et ressuscita le troisième jour. Il revint et dit: "Touchez-Moi. Un esprit n'a ni chair ni os comme Moi. Avez-vous quelque chose à manger?" Il - il mangea du poisson et du pain. Et Il resta avec eux pendant quarante jours, donnant la preuve, comme Josué, de l'existence de ce Pays. Il est l'évidence de ce Pays-là.
| E-24 Then He came to Kadesh-barnea, Calvary, the judgment seat, again. Where, the penalty of sin, that caused men to die, it was met at judgment, at His Kadesh-barnea. He paid the penalty of sin, died; crossed Jordan, the Jordan of death; and rose up on the third day, coming back. And said, "Feel Me, a spirit don't have flesh and bones like Me. Got something to eat?" He—He eat fish and bread. And He was with them for forty days, proving, like Joshua, that the Land was there. He's the evidence of the Land there. |

E-25 Bien, Il dit: "Tous ceux qui croient ceci, allez par tout le monde, prêchez la Bonne Nouvelle à toute la création. Celui qui croira et qui sera baptisé sera sauvé. Celui qui ne croira pas sera condamné."

E-26 Alors, le jour de la Pentecôte, Il envoya le gage de cet endroit, l'assurance, l'évidence que ce Pays est une réalité. De même que Josué ramena l'évidence, Jésus apporta l'évidence du Saint-Esprit.
| E-26 Then, on the Day of Pentecost, He sent back the earnest of this Place, the assurance, the evidence that this Land is real. Just like Joshua brought back the evidence, Jesus brought the evidence of the Holy Ghost. |

E-27 Maintenant, nous nous regardons comme morts. Nous avons été ensevelis avec Lui par le baptême en Sa mort.
| E-27 Now, we reckon ourself dead. We're buried with Him in baptism, unto His death. |

E-28 Et nous sommes ressuscités avec Lui lors de la résurrection. Et nous y sommes déjà maintenant, pas nous y serons. Nous sommes déjà ressuscités. Oh! la la! Nous sommes maintenant, non pas nous serons, nous sommes maintenant, ce soir, assis dans les Lieux Célestes. Comment? En Christ Jésus. Pas que nous le serons à un autre moment, nous le sommes maintenant. L'Eglise ne se rend pas compte de ce qu'Elle est. Vous voyez? Nous le sommes maintenant, en ce moment même. Comment? En Christ Jésus, rassemblés en Lui, nous sommes déjà ressuscités des morts. Nos âmes sont immortelles.
| E-28 And we raise with Him, in the resurrection. And now we are in, already, not we're going to. We're already raised. Oh, my! We are now, not will be, we are now, tonight, setting in Heavenly places (how?) in Christ Jesus. Not we will be, some other time. We are now. The Church don't realize who they are. See? We are now, right this minute, (how?) in Christ Jesus, assembled together in Him, already raised from the dead. Our souls was immortal. |

E-29 Maintenant, arrêtons-nous un instant. Tenez, autrefois nous mentions, volions, trichions, nous nous battions, jurions et tout le reste. Et ensuite nous avons confessé tous ces péchés. Nous avons alors été ensevelis avec Lui par le baptême et nous sommes ressuscités avec Lui. Et quand nous venons... "Repentez-vous et que chacun de vous soit baptisé au Nom de Jésus-Christ pour le pardon de vos péchés, et vous recevrez l'évidence", l'évidence de ce bon Pays. Et alors cet Esprit qui vient sur nous, nous élève au-dessus de ce mensonge, de ce vol, et de toutes ces sottises du passé. Et maintenant nous sommes ressuscités avec Lui, nous sommes à présent assis avec Lui là-haut dans les Lieux Célestes. Nos âmes sont certainement toutes prêtes.
| E-29 Now let's stop just a minute. Here, once, we used to lie, steal, cheat, fight, curse, everything else. And then we confessed all that sin. Then we were buried with Him in baptism, and raised up with Him. And when we come up… "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins, and you shall receive the evidence," the evidence of this good Land. And then that Spirit that comes upon us, brings us up from that lying, stealing, and all that stuff back there, and now we have raised up with Him, now setting with Him, up here in Heavenly places. Our souls are absolutely all ready. |
E-30 Eh bien, cela fait une trentaine d'années que William Branham est mort. Je suis devenu une nouvelle créature. Ce vieil homme est mort. Je me souviens quand je parlais cet après-midi à cet ami. E-33 Nous sommes assis dans les Lieux Célestes en Christ Jésus. Et maintenant nous avons le gage de notre salut, l'acompte. Si la chose coûte dix mille dollars, Il nous donne un acompte de mille dollars. Vous voyez? C'est un acompte d'un dixième comme notre gage. En d'autres termes, nous sommes déjà ressuscités du péché et de l'incrédulité, nous sommes ressuscités avec Christ, et nous sommes maintenant assis ensemble dans les Lieux Célestes, ayant une évidence comme celle que Josué ramena. Le Pays existe et nous sommes en route. La mort n'est plus, nous ne pouvons mourir.
| E-33 We're setting in Heavenly places in Christ Jesus, and now we have the earnest of our salvation, the first payment. The thing cost ten thousand dollars, and He give us the first thousand. See? This is the first tenth, of our earnest. Which, we've already raised from sin and unbelief, up into the resurrection with Christ. And now setting together in Heavenly places, with that evidence, like Joshua brought back. The Land is There, and we're on our road. No more death. Can't die. |

E-34 Un jour, on vous dira: "Frère Branham est mort", n'y croyez pas. Pourquoi? Frère Branham ne peut pas mourir. Vous voyez? C'est vrai. Je ne peux pas mourir, je suis déjà mort. [Congregation says, "Amen."—Ed.] Because you are a father, a parent. And if that be the—the… what I would say, the—the trueness, and the thought of a earthly parent. And parenthood originated in God, because He was the first Parent. Don't you think that God, seeing what Satan would be, what Satan would do, He gave to His children, and provided for them, the best thing that could be provided for them? To knowing what the enemy's attack would be, God fortified His children. See? |

E-56 Prenons l'exemple de la guerre. And this general, if he's a real, true citizen of this nation that he represents… And he surely would be, to be a general. And he, first thing, he studies the enemy's attacks. He knows what he's going to do, how he's going to work, because he kind of went over and spied out. |

And there's… No matter how friendly we are, we still got spies. And we're spying out some kind of a—a nuclear weapon. Then we find it, take it back to the country. Then, what it is, they get ready. When war does come, they know how to attack their enemy. And if we know… |

E-58 Dieu savait que cette grande guerre entre le bien et le mal allait éclater, et Il savait ce que l'ennemi allait faire, Il savait très exactement comment équiper Son peuple. Ainsi, si nous remarquons bien, la toute première chose avec laquelle Dieu a équipé Ses enfants, c'était... Etant infini, Il savait ce qu'il fallait pour vaincre Satan à chaque moment, à chaque endroit, n'importe où, dans n'importe quelle circonstance. Maintenant, Il n'aurait pas dit: "Je vais leur donner quelque chose maintenant et ensuite, quelques années plus tard, je pourrais étudier quelque chose de meilleur à leur donner. Et alors, après quelques années..."
| E-58 God knew this great warfare was coming on, between right and wrong, and He knew what the enemy was going to do. He knowed just exactly how to equip His people. So if we notice, the very first thing that God equipped His children was… Being infinite, He knowed what it took to defeat Satan, any time, any place, anywhere, on any conditions. Now, He wouldn't say, "I'll give them something here, and then a few years later, I may study out something better to give them, and then after a few years later." |

Now, seeing there was going to be a conflict, and there was going to be a battle, God equipped His children with the right kind of ammunition, right kind of an attack, the right kind of everything that they had need of, that would sweep them all the way from Eden to the Rapture. What was it? The Word. The Word. That's what defeats Satan, is the Word. It'll defeat him anywhere, any place. Now, why do we want to substitute something else, when we've already got the best thing that there is, the Word? |

E-62 Et voyez où cela se trouve. Ce n'est pas seulement pour une ou deux personnes dans une église. C'est pour chacun de nous. Chaque croyant a le droit de prendre cette Parole et de combattre l'ennemi n'importe où qu'on le rencontre. Où que vous rencontriez l'ennemi, c'est cette Parole qu'il faut utiliser. Et Jésus l'a démontré lorsqu'Il est venu. Il a donc équipé Ses enfants avec la Parole comme protection contre l'ennemi. Quand cette guerre totale arrive et que la bataille et - commence dans les rangs, alors il n'y a qu'une seule chose qu'un véritable soldat peut utiliser, un véritable soldat chrétien, c'est le AINSI DIT LE SEIGNEUR. Il sort carrément pour affronter l'ennemi, ayant l'assurance que rien... "Mille peuvent tomber à ta droite et dix mille à ta gauche, mais tu ne seras pas atteint." Souvenez-vous simplement que Dieu a fait cette déclaration, qu'Il a donné ceci à Ses enfants et que c'est la meilleure chose qui ait toujours existé.
