J’ai quelques Ecritures que j’ai inscrites ici et quelques commentaires que j’aimerais faire aussi vite que possible, et puis, on va directement prier pour les malades une fois de plus ce soir. E-1 … out of God's Bible. Knowing this, that if my words fail, His won't. So I want to read a—a Scripture out of the book of Isaiah. And I got some Scriptures written out here, and a few comments that I'd like to make mention of, as quick as is possible, and then go right in to have the prayer for the sick again, tonight.
E-2 J’aimerais saisir cette opportunité pendant que nous prenons Esaïe 45, j’aimerais saisir cette opportunité pour remercier tous les ministres qui ont collaboré dans cette série de réunions. E-2 I want to take this opportunity, while we're turning to Isaiah 45, I want to take this opportunity to thank all the ministers that's cooperated in this meeting.

E-3 Brother Shores, very dear friend of mine, he represents the Assemblies of God, here in the city. Brother Outlaw, another precious friend of mine, from the Jesus Name Church. Brother Fuller, from the Independence, another precious friend of mine. Not only these three man, they represent the three major groups, but other ministers that I have ministered for, in previous, of other campaigns, they all cooperated and come together, and the people's come out. I certainly trust, my brethren, that many of your people, that were sick and needy, got help during this time. And I am sure that I tried all I knowed how to do, and I am sure the Holy Spirit will confirm what's been said and done.

E-4 So, the Lord bless you now as we look to the Bible. Isaiah 45, beginning with 22nd chap-… or the 22nd verse.
Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.
I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall answer.
E-5 Je sais que l’Ecriture que nous avons lue n’est pas longue, mais elle suffit parce qu’Elle est éternelle. C’est la Parole de Dieu. Et si je devais donner un titre à ce texte maintenant, pour environ 20 ou 30 minutes, j’aimerais l’intituler, j’aimerais l’intituler Tournez le regard vers Jésus. E-5 I know that isn't very much reading of the Scripture, but that's sufficient because It's Eternal. It's God's Word. And if I should call this a text now, for about twenty minutes, or thirty, I would like to say, I want to say: Looking Unto Jesus.
E-6 C’est ce qu’a été l’appel pendant des années: «Tournez-vous vers Moi, vous qui êtes aux extrémités de la terre.» J’aimerais plutôt changer cela un tout petit peu en disant: «Tournez-vous spécialement vers Moi, vous qui êtes à la fin de chaque système mondial». En effet, Il se fait toujours connaître très exactement à la fin d’un système mondial, quand celui-ci arrive à sa fin. «Tournez-vous vers Moi, vous tous qui êtes aux extrémités du monde,» je pourrais dire. L’Ecriture dit: «Aux extrémités, aux extrémités de la terre», aux extrémités, au pluriel, «aux extrémités de la terre.» E-6 That's been the call for years, "Look unto Me, ye ends of the earth." I would like to kind of turn that just a little bit, and, "Look especially unto Me at the end of each world system," because He always makes Hisself known so real at the end of a world system when it's coming to its end. "Look unto Me, all ye ends of the world," I might say. The Scripture says, "The ends, ends of the earth," ends is in plural, "ends of the earth."
E-7 Plusieurs disent: «Nous avons entendu ceci depuis beaucoup d’années: ‘Tournez-vous vers Moi. Tournez-vous vers Moi.’» Eh bien, c’est vrai. Mais la chose est que, la question est celle-ci: Que voyez-vous lorsque vous regardez? On vous a demandé cela depuis longtemps: «Tournez-vous vers Moi.» E-7 Many say, "We've heard this for many years, 'Look unto Me. Look unto Me.'" Well, that's true. But the thing, the question is, is what do you see when you look? You've been asked that for a long time, "Look unto Me."

E-9 Et maintenant, Dieu dit ici: «Tournez-vous vers Moi. Je suis Dieu, et il n’y en a point d’autre.» E-9 And now God is saying here, "Look unto Me. I am God, and there is none other."
E-10 Je me demande, dans un temps comme celui dans lequel nous vivons maintenant, à quoi devrions-nous regarder qui pourrait être plus solide que Dieu? Et Dieu est la Parole, ainsi, regardez à la Parole de Dieu aujourd’hui pour avoir la réponse. La Bible a la réponse pour aujourd’hui. Elle l’a eue pour les autres époques. Et Elle l’a pour toujours, parce que c’est Christ le même hier, aujourd’hui et éternellement. E-10 And I wonder, in a time that we are living in now, what could we look to that would be more solid than God? And God is the Word, so look to the Word of God, today, for your answer. The Bible has the answer for this day. It's had it for other days. It's got it forever, because it is Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever.
E-11 La Bible a la réponse, parce que la Bible est la révélation de Jésus-Christ qui s’est révélé depuis la fondation du monde. Il a été révélé sous la forme des prophètes; Il a été révélé sous la forme des rois, Il a été révélé sous la forme des législateurs, parce que c’est ce qu’Il est: Roi, Prophète, Législateur et Dieu.
Maintenant, Il a dit: «Tournez-vous vers Moi.»
E-11 The Bible has the answer, because the Bible is the revelation of Jesus Christ, being revealed since the foundation of the world. He has been revealed in the form of prophets, He has been revealed in the form of kings, He has been revealed in the form of law-givers, because that's what He is: King, Prophet, Law-Giver, and God.
Now, He said, "Look to Me."
E-12 Et vous direz: «J’ai fait cela.» Cela dépend de ce à quoi vous avez regardé, ce qui détermine la direction de votre regard, c’est l’endroit où vous Le cherchez et la raison pour laquelle vous L’attendez. Où tournez-vous votre regard? Dans quel but tournez-vous le regard vers Lui? Cela dépend simplement de ce que vous cherchez, et c’est ce que vous trouvez. E-12 And you say, "I've done that." It depends on what you looked at, determines what you look at, is where and what you look for Him for. What are you looking at? What purpose do you have in looking at Him? It only depends on what you look for, that's what you find.
E-13 D’habitude, les gens viennent à la réunion, dans un rassemblement religieux... Certains vont chercher une grande foule de gens auxquels ils peuvent se joindre. Certains... Oh! je n’aime pas dire cela, mais c’est la vérité. Certains vont à l’église juste pour montrer les habits qu’ils portent. Les autres vont à l’église parce que les gens disent: «C’est la plus grande église de la ville; ou elle–elle porte le meilleur nom; une certaine classe de gens fréquentent cette église.» Alors c’est–ce n’est pas correct. Voyez-vous? Vous ne regardez pas la chose correcte pour laquelle l’église a été établie.
Dieu a dit: «Tournez-vous vers Moi.»
E-13 Usually, people come to a meeting, a religious gathering, some of them go to find a big crowd of people to set with. Some… Oh, I hate to say this, but it's true. Some go to church just to show their clothes they're wearing. Some goes to church because they say, "This is the biggest church in the city; or it's—it's got the best name; a certain class of people goes to this church," then that's—that's wrong. See? You're not looking to the right thing that the church is established for.
God said, "Look to Me."
E-14 Beaucoup de gens vont aux réunions juste pour se faire voir. Et parfois, les gens vont aux réunions... C’est vraiment dommage de dire cela et nous nous attardons là-dessus pendant longtemps. Mais ils vont à l’église avec des décisions bien arrêtées avant d’y aller. Si on dit certaines choses, ou si on dit quelque chose de contraire à leur conception, ils se lèvent aussitôt et sortent. Ils ne vont simplement pas supporter cela, parce qu’ils ont leur propre pensée sur ce que cela doit être. E-14 Many people go to the services and just to be seen. And sometimes people go to services… This is too bad to say this, and we could linger on it a long time. But they go to church with their mind already made up before they go. If certain things is said, or something just against their idea, they'll get right up and walk out. They just simply will not stand, because they've got their own idea what it must be.
E-15 C’est la raison même pour laquelle Jésus n’a pas été compris quand Il est venu sur la terre. S’ils avaient simplement regardé dans la Parole de Dieu au lieu de regarder à leur–à leur tradition de l’époque, ils auraient su qu’Il était le Fils de Dieu. En effet, la Bible a clairement annoncé Sa Venue dans sa plénitude, et Il est venu dans la plénitude de la révélation de la Parole. E-15 That's the very reason that Jesus was not understood when He came to the earth. If they would have only looked into the Word of God, instead of their—of their tradition of that day, they would have known He was the Son of God. Because, the Bible plainly declared His full coming, and He come in full revelation of the Word.
E-16 Et chaque génération Le révèle dans la plénitude de la révélation qui est destinée à ce temps-là. E-16 And each generation reveals Him in the full revelation that's lotted for that time.
E-17 Cette génération doit révéler Jésus-Christ. C’est Sa révélation à Lui, qui a été promise dans la Parole; Il doit être révélé à cette génération. Si les églises ne veulent pas recevoir cela, quelqu’un se lèvera et recevra cela. E-17 This generation must reveal Jesus Christ. That's the revelation of Him that's promised in the Word, must be revealed to this generation. If the churches won't receive It, somebody will rise up and do It.
E-18 En effet, Jean a dit: «Dieu est capable, de ces pierres-ci, de susciter des enfants à Abraham. Ne dites pas en vous-mêmes: ‘Nous avons Abraham pour père’, car Dieu est capable, de ces pierres-ci, de susciter des enfants à Abraham.» E-18 Cause, John said, "God is able of these stones to rise children unto Abraham. Don't think to say within yourself, 'We have Abraham to our father,' for God is able of these stones to rise children to Abraham."
E-19 «Car ce que Dieu a dit... Dieu est pleinement capable d’accomplir ce qu’Il a promis de faire. Notre père Abraham a réalisé cela, et espérant contre toute espérance; il crut et il ne douta point par incrédulité au sujet de la promesse de Dieu; mais il fut fortifié, donnant gloire à Dieu, parce que Dieu lui avait donné la promesse.» E-19 "For what God has said, God is fully able to perform what He has promised to do. Our father Abraham realized that, and against hope he believed in hope; and staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong, giving praise to God, because God made him the promise."
E-20 Il nous a fait une promesse pour ce jour. Il nous a fait une promesse. Et notre promesse aujourd’hui doit être révélée aussi sûrement que l’a été celle d’Abraham, car nous sommes les enfants d’Abraham: «Etant morts en Christ, nous sommes la Semence d’Abraham, et les héritiers avec Lui selon la promesse.» E-20 He has made us a promise for this day. He has made us a promise. And our promise today is just as sure to be revealed as it was to Abraham, for we are the children of Abraham, "Being dead in Christ, we are Abraham's Seed, and heirs with Him according to the promise."
E-21 Beaucoup de gens viennent, ils se cantonnent sur leur opinion, ils s’assoient dans une réunion du Plein Evangile, ou n’importe quelle autre réunion, et ils vont juste attendre là pendant quelques instants jusqu’à ce que quelque chose soit dit, avec lequel ils ne sont pas d’accord, alors ils se lèvent et sortent. Ils ne voudront pas rester là pour entendre quelque chose de plus. Ils ont... ils ne voudront pas rester là pour voir s’il y avait..., et ce qu’est la Vérité à ce sujet. E-21 So many people come in, drawed up their opinion, set in a Full Gospel meeting, or any other meeting, and they'll just wait just for a few moments until something is said that they don't agree with, then up and out. They just won't stay to hear any more. They got… They won't stay to see if there was, and what the Truth of it is.
E-22 Maintenant, nous disons: «Est-ce que cet esprit...? D’où cela vient-il?» Il a toujours existé. Il est depuis la Genèse. Il a existé tout au long des Ecritures. Souvent... E-22 Now we say, "Is that spirit? Where did that come from?" It's always been. That come from Genesis. It was down through the Scripture. Many time…
E-23 Quand Paul parlait une fois, ou plutôt lorsqu’il parlait à un groupe de gens, eh bien, ils–ils l’écoutaient attentivement aussi longtemps qu’il restait dans la loi. Mais quand il a commencé à leur parler de la révélation, la vision céleste, aussitôt les choses avaient changé dans la congrégation. Ils se sont levés, se sont mis à crier. Si seulement ils avaient écouté ce que l’homme disait, il était en train de révéler la Vérité de Dieu, par la Parole. E-23 When Paul was speaking one time, rather, to a group of people, why, they—they listened at him closely as long as he stayed in the law. But when he begin to tell about the revelation, the Heavenly vision, quickly it changed the congregation. They rose up, to screaming. If they'd just listened to what the man said, he was revealing the Truth of God, by the Word.
E-24 Il y a quelque temps, dans une grande ville, ici aux Etats-Unis, j’étais invité à tenir un réveil. Juste très peu–peu de gens étaient venus. Probablement, au cours de tout ce réveil, il n’y avait pas plus de gens qu’il y en a juste ce soir dans ce bâtiment. Et je me suis dit: «Eh bien, j’aimerais dû offrir un–un déjeuner, un déjeuner gratuit.» Et j’ai pris mon offrande d’amour pour offrir un déjeuner gratuit à certains croyants oecuméniques qui étaient là dans la ville et je leur ai dit de venir, je voulais leur parler et leur dire le but pour lequel j’étais là: C’était pour aider les gens de la ville, aider les malades, aider les gens, chaque église.» E-24 Sometime ago, in a big city, in this United States, I was invited for a revival. Just very few—few people there that turned out. Probably, in the entire revival, there was no more than is right in this building tonight. And I thought, "Well, I would give a—a breakfast, free breakfast." And I taken my love offering to make the breakfast free to some of the ecumenical believers there in the city, and told them to "Come out, I would like to speak with them and tell them my purpose of being there: to help the city, to help the sick, to help them, every church."

Avant que j’aie fait cinq minutes de prédication juste sur ce que Paul avait dit, comme quoi «il n’a pas résisté à la vision céleste», parce que Dieu l’avait appelé à ce travail. Ces gens ont vu immédiatement là où j’allais baser ma pensée. Il n’y avait pas plus d’un tiers du groupe qui était resté. Eh bien, ça, c’est même manquer du respect en tant que chrétien comme un homme qui devrait confesser le Nom de Jésus-Christ. E-25 Well, that morning, when Doctor Lee Vayle was my speaker at the campaign, he had introduced me to the—the audience, after the breakfast, and I took the—this text, "I was not disobedient to the Heavenly vision." Just in a moment, I noticed a minister looked at his watch, reached over and nodded his head to the other fellow, got up and went out. Before I had said six or eight words, almost a third of that ministerial group had walked out. Before I'd had five minutes of speaking just what Paul said, that he was "not disobedient to the heavenly vision," because God had called him to this work, they seen right then where I was going to base my thought. There wasn't over one third of the group left. Now that's not even giving Christian consideration, as a man that would name the Name of Jesus Christ.
E-26 Je dis ceci avec respect, et je le dis pour que ça pénètre profondément. Il y avait plus d’entente et une meilleure communion entre moi et une bande de sorciers guérisseurs africains qu’avec ce groupe de ministres ce matin-là. Ils avaient témoigné beaucoup plus de considération à l’égard de la Parole de Dieu et ont posé des questions, car le... que je pouvais leur donner l’espérance qui reposait en moi, pour l’espérance de la Vie Eternelle. E-26 I say this with respects, but I say it to sink in. I had more understanding, and better fellowship, with a bunch of African witch doctors than I did that group of ministers that morning. They give more consideration to the Word of God, and asked questions, for the… that I could give them the hope that laid within me, for the hope of Eternal Life.
E-27 Ces prédicateurs n’avaient pas du tout de temps pour cela. Dès que vous disiez quelque chose, ils sortaient sans tarder. Et c’est donc ce qu’il en est. Ils ont déjà leurs idées bien arrêtées là-dessus et ils vont rester assez longtemps, et c’est tout ce qu’ils veulent savoir. Et s’il y a une seule Parole qui est en désaccord avec une chose insignifiante qu’ils croient, ils ne peuvent pas rester là pour L’écouter jusqu’à la fin. C’est la raison pour laquelle les gens ne pouvaient pas croire en Jésus-Christ, lors de Sa première Venue. C’est la raison pour laquelle ils Le manqueront à Sa seconde Venue. E-27 These ministers had no time for It at all. Just quickly, as soon as you would say something, out they'd go. And so that's the way it is. They got their mind made up, they just stay so long, and that's all they want to know. If it one Word disagreeing with any petty thing that they believe in, they cannot stay and listen through It. That's the reason they couldn't believe Jesus Christ at His first advent. That's the reason they'll miss Him in the Second.
E-28 Ils Le manquent chaque fois. Ils L’ont toujours manqué. Il s’est révélé en Moïse, Il s’est révélé en Noé, Il s’est révélé en Elie, dans tous les prophètes et ils L’ont chaque fois manqué. Jésus a dit: «Lequel de vos pères n’a pas mis ces prophètes dans ces tombes que vous ornez aujourd’hui?» C’est vrai. Ç’a toujours été la vérité. C’est encore la vérité aujourd’hui. E-28 They miss Him each time. They always have. And He's revealed Hisself in Moses, revealed Hisself in Noah, revealed Hisself in Elijah, all the prophets, they missed it each time. Jesus said, "Which one of your fathers hasn't put the prophets in the tombs out there that they are garnishing now?" That's true. It's always been true. It's true yet today.

E-30 Sometimes they come in, a man will judge you by what kind of clothes. If you don't wear ministerial clothes, and so forth, then that's out, they won't have nothing to do with you. Sometimes they want to look to see what kind of an education you have, if you speak your words proper, if you stand correctly, how you use your nouns and pronouns.
E-31 Franchement, moi, je ne sais pas ce que c’est un nom ou un pronom. Je ne saurais vous le dire. Ainsi, ce–c’est exclu pour moi, et je–je n’en sais rien. Je ne peux pas faire la différence entre un nom et un pronom. Je connaissais cela quand j’étais à l’école, mais je l’ai oublié, il y a longtemps. E-31 Frankly, I don't know which is noun or pronoun. I couldn't tell you. So, that, that's out, for me, and I—I just don't know. I couldn't make the difference between a noun and a pronoun. I did when I was in school, but I have forgotten that a long time ago.
E-32 Je ne connais qu’une seule chose, et c’est Jésus-Christ dans la puissance de Sa résurrection, c’est tout ce que je sais dire. Les adjectifs et les pronoms, je n’en sais rien. Et je crois que c’est la raison pour laquelle nous nous réunissons tous dans des réunions comme celle-ci, c’est pour Le connaître Lui, ce n’est pas pour connaître les noms et les pronoms, mais c’est pour Le connaître, Lui, Jésus-Christ, dans la puissance de Sa résurrection. E-32 I just know one thing, and that's Jesus Christ in the power of His resurrection, that's all I know how to say about. The adjectives and pronouns, I know nothing. And I think that's what we all come together for in meetings like this, is to know Him; not know nouns and pronouns, but know Him, Jesus Christ, in the power of His resurrection.
E-33 Eh bien, quand certains regardent à Jésus, ils regardent et Le voient; ils regardent et Le regardent et alors, ils Le voient; ils ne voient en Lui qu’un fondateur d’église, ou un–un–un organisateur d’une église ou peut-être un–un credo d’une église. E-33 Now, some people, when they look to Jesus, they look and see Him, look and look at Him, and when they see Him, they see in Him only a church founder, or a—a—a church organizer, or maybe a—a creed for a church. That's what many people look to Jesus to see. He is just a new creed that was added to an old doctrine. Now many people look and see Him like that.
E-34 Certains regardent et Le voient comme un mythe, le Père Noël. Ou certains Le regardent et voient en Lui un fait historique que Dieu a accompli il y a beaucoup d’années. Certains Le regardent et voient encore en Lui un bébé dans une mangeoire. E-34 Some look and see Him as a myth, Santa Claus. Or, some of them look to Him as some historical act that God did many years ago. Some of them look to Him yet as a baby in a manger.
E-35 Mais, la question est celle-ci: «Que voyez-vous quand vous Le regardez? Voyez-vous la deuxième personne d’une trinité, ou est-ce que vous voyez une trinité, trois personnes en Une? Vous ne Le verrez qu’en Le regardant au travers de la Parole. C’est le seul moyen par lequel vous pouvez connaître cela, car Il est la Parole. Elle va Le révéler. Cela dépend de ce que vous cherchez. E-35 But, the question is, what do you see when you look at Him? Do you see the second person of the trinity, or do you see a trinity, three in One? You'll only see Him as you look at Him through the Word. That's the only way you know It, because He is the Word. It'll reveal Himself. Depends on what you're looking for.
E-36 Si vous Le regardez pour discuter, alors vous regardez mal. Il ne discutait pas. Ce n’était pas convenable pour Lui de discuter. E-36 If you look to Him, to argue, then you're looking wrong. He didn't argue. It wasn't meet for Him to argue.

Deux hommes peuvent regarder la même Ecriture et être en désaccord; l’un d’eux doit être dans le vrai et l’autre en erreur. E-37 Remember, you see Him as you look at Him through His Word, and recognize Him. Now you cannot see Him until your eyes is opened to the fact. Two men can look at the same Scripture and disagree; one of them has got to be right, and the other one wrong.

And that morning when he woke up, he looked out and he seen the Syrian army all around; he said, "My father, alas, look at the opposition we have, the whole Syrian army!

The Spirit makes the Word to live to the promise. In other words, It's a Seed, the Spirit gives Its Life. It unctionizes, It gives It Its—Its go, like rain gives to the seed that's buried in the ground. It breaks forth, Life. And when you look at Jesus as the promised Word of the hour, then it will be revealed to you. If you look at Him, you'll see that He is the same yesterday, today, and forever, the same Christ.

God always sends someone. Usually the ecclesiastics gets It so mixed up until it's in traditions, and so forth, as it was in the coming of Jesus, and then God sends a prophet along. "The Word of the Lord comes to the prophet," he reveals It. Stoned to death, or put out, kicked out; and then, after he is gone a while, they build his tomb and say he was a great man. They live in a shadow of what he was back there, and refuse the Word going on today.

He looks at Him in history, looks at Him in prophecy, but forgets that He is doing the same right now as He did then. That's just in man, though.

And a Man stepped out of the bush, and walked with them the rest of the day, talking to them about Christ. And that evening, they asked Him. He act like He was going to pass them by, but they asked Him to come in. He did.

They thought they knowed Moses' writing, but, you see, they didn't know it. See, they were blinded to that very fact.

Wonder whose fellowship card He is packing?" Or, something on that order was the question.

Et il a vu les Chérubins venir, ayant des ailes qui couvraient leurs saints visages et leurs pieds, et volant avec d’autres ailes, en criant: «Saint est l’Eternel Dieu.» Quand Esaïe a eu une vision momentanée de Jésus-Christ; c’est ce qu’il a vu. Et il n’a point vu juste un homme ordinaire. Il n’a point vu un philosophe. E-55 Isaiah, one time, a young prophet… Here last time at Phoenix, I spoke of him, to—to the businessmen, I believe it was. How he had been leaning heavy upon the king's shoulder, Uzziah, and we find out that Uzziah got all puffed up and he was stricken with leprosy. Then Isaiah had to go down to the temple and pray, and say, confess him to be a sinner. And he saw the Cherubims coming forth, with their wings covering their holy faces, and feet, and flying with wings, and crying, "Holy is the Lord God." When Isaiah got a glimpse of Jesus Christ, here is what he saw. He never saw any just ordinary man. He never saw a philosopher.

They deny the virgin birth of Jesus Christ; our Protestant preachers. That's right. This is off of statistics. Right down, they deny the virgin birth. They do not believe it was actually virgin. So, then, Isaiah didn't see something like that. Some of them, they said, "He was a good man." Some of them, like some of our denominations today, said, "He's a good Man. Sure, there is no fault in Him, but, I tell you, His Words cannot be established or believed today."

E-58 So, therefore, any creed or anything that's not built on this Word of God, all the Word of God! Jesus said, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word." Not just a Word here and a Word there, and a little thing here and there, and put It together; but "Every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God!" Man shall take every Word of the Bible! Put It together… It's already together; just read It and believe It, act upon It, God will honor It.

A great prophet, what did you see? He said, "I saw a Stone, hewed out of the mountain, without hands, and It rolled into the kingdoms of the world and broke them to pieces, and they blowed away like the chaff upon a summer's threshingfloor. And the Stone growed into a great mountain that covered all the earth." That's what he said about Him.

And when he opened the door to see how they were getting along in there, he saw the fourth Man on the inside of the furnace. And what did you see when you looked, Nebuchadnezzar? He said, "He looked like the Son of God." That's what he saw when he looked into a crime that he had done, there was One that looked like the Son of God.

E-64 Jean, le grand de tous les prophètes, c’était lui qui a présenté Jésus. Jésus a dit qu’il était «le plus grand d’entre les hommes qui sont nés [des femmes].» Avez-vous déjà pensé pourquoi cela? Tous les autres ont parlé de Lui. «La Parole du Seigneur vient au prophète». C’est la Bible qui le dit, et à tous les autres prophètes. Elle leur est parvenue dans des visions. Mais quand la Parole est venue à Jean, Elle était faite chair. Jésus était la Parole. Il est la Parole. Il a toujours été la Parole. Mais ici, la plénitude de Dieu a été faite chair et a habité parmi nous.» Quand Il est venu à lui dans l’eau, il était un prophète. Et si la Parole a été faite chair, Elle devait venir au prophète. La Parole, où que ce soit, Elle doit venir à un prophète, parce que le prophète, c’est la personne à qui vient la Parole. Et Jean était le prophète de ce jour-là. E-64 John, the greatest of all prophets, he was the one that introduced Jesus. Jesus said he was "greater than any man had been born." Did you ever think why that was? All the rest of them spoke of Him, "The Word of the Lord comes to the prophet," that's the Bible said so, and in all the other prophets it come to them in visions. But when the Word come to John, It was flesh. Jesus was the Word. He is the Word. He always was the Word, but here is where the fullness of God "was made flesh and dwelt among us." When He come to him in the water, he was a prophet. And if the Word is made flesh, It's got to come to the prophet. The Word, wherever It is, It must come to a prophet, because a prophet is the one the Word comes to. And John was the prophet of the day.

E-69 Il y avait là, le–le prophète et la Parole; et la Parole était venue au prophète; il était alors convenable pour eux que toute justice soit accomplie. Qu’est-il arrivé? Alors, Jean a baptisé Jésus, parce que Jean étant un prophète et il savait que la Parole, le Sacrifice devait être premièrement lavé avant d’être présenté; voilà pourquoi Jean a baptisé Jésus. E-69 There was the—the prophet and the Word, and the Word had come to the prophet, now it was becoming to them that all righteousness must be fulfilled. What happened? Then John baptized Jesus. Because, John being a prophet and knowed the Word, the Sacrifice must be washed before it's presented, and that's why John baptized Jesus.

Dans sa vision, comme Noé était un prophète, Dieu lui avait donné une vision lui montrant comment il devait construire l’arche, et Il lui a donné les instructions sur la manière dont il devait en faire la construction, et comment elle devait être construite. A ce propos, comment Noé aurait-il pu faire la préparation, si cette vision n’était pas la Parole de Dieu, quand il a vu cette colère? E-71 Noah looked. We find out here, there was another man looked, by the name of Noah—Noah. He looked and saw the justice of God upon… The just judgment of God, rather, upon a wicked Word-denying generation, was being poured out. In his vision, as Noah was a prophet, God had give him a vision of how to build the ark, and instructed him how to make the construction, how it must be built. In this, how could Noah, unless this vision being the Word of God, when he seen this wrath and making a way of preparation?

Quand il a regardé, il a vu la colère imminente de Dieu, il a fait les préparatifs pour le peuple, afin d’échapper à cette chose. E-73 And when he was constructing the Word of God together, bearing record that his vision was true and he believed in it, scoffers made fun of him, and so forth. But Noah had looked ahead and seen the justice of God had to require the judgment upon the people, and he constructed an ark to save his own household. When he looked, he saw the coming wrath of God, and he made preparations for the people to escape this thing.

It takes mechanics and dynamics, the Word and the Spirit, they are the One that gives Life.

And the only way you can look to the Word, is look to Him. Look to Him, He is the Word, and the Word promised for this day is to be fulfilled this day. Noah's time could not be filled this day; it was only a type, Moses' time, and so forth. But this is the day that God has promised these things that we're now enjoying, these things that we're now seeing, that the world is laughing at, this great momentous power of the Holy Spirit that can change a sinner's heart, that can take a lukewarm church member and give him a testimony that will set the church afire, from where he come out of. It's the dynamic that got into the Word.

One of them is the fundamental; positionally he knows where he is in Christ, because of the Word, but he doesn't have any faith in what he is doing. He hasn't received the Holy Spirit. Then I find the Pentecostals, many of them has received the Holy Ghost, but don't know who they are. Just like a man who has got money in the bank and can't write a check, and the other one can write a check and got no money in the bank. If you could get those two together, if you could get the Pentecostal to realize who he is, and come back to the real, full Word of God; with that baptism of the Holy Ghost, it'll set the world afire again with a new pentecostal revival. Brother, sister, that's true.

She believed Him to be the Son of God, Emmanuel, God made manifest. She knowed that He was God's representative. And she knowed, if Elijah could raise up a dead baby, and him being just a portion of the Word, for that hour; Christ was the fulness of the Word, she knowed surely He had power to raise up her brother. And when she went to Him in the hour of death, in bereavement, she found resurrection and Life when she looked to Him. She didn't look to Him to criticize Him, or ask Him why He didn't come, or question Him.

We hadn't had it, they hadn't had it, and it was promised, and everybody knowed the time was at hand.

Do you see, you think of mythology, or—or you see some kind of a—a telepathy, or what do you think, like they did back there? The Pharisees looked upon Him, what'd they say? "This man has got a devil." The same people looking at the same Person, human beings: one saw the Son of God, a promised vindicated Word; and the other one called it a devil. What do you see? What are you looking at today when you see the power of the Holy Ghost sweep into a building, fulfilling His promise that in these last days what He would do? What do you see when you look? If you see the Word of God vindicated, then it's the Holy Spirit of God. Yes, sir.

E-112 When you go to church on Sunday morning, do you look for a fine organ, a well-dressed minister, a robed choir, a bunch of women with paint on? What do you look for, some kind of a society in the churches? You belong to this and that. What do you look for? That's about what you see. Listen here. No wonder, when you carry the flat Gospel, and see the Holy Ghost come in and make It manifest amongst an old-fashion bunch of people, it's foreign to you, it's hard for you to believe.

Mais, lorsqu’il a gravi la colline et qu’il a rétréci ces petits yeux, alors qu’il regardait en bas vers la ville, il a vu quelque chose que personne d’autre n’avait vu. Tous voyaient les plaisirs et les affaires de la ville. Mais, lui, il a vu le jugement de Dieu qui était suspendu et il a prophétisé contre elle. Ils l’ont taxé «fou.» Mais, onze ans plus tard, tout est arrivé exactement comme il l’avait annoncé. E-122 So was it when Amos, the little, baldheaded preacher; we don't know where he come from. But when this little farmer boy, struck by the Holy Spirit, come down through there, he had nobody to go ahead and make arrangements for his meetings, he had no signs up, no denomination to affiliate with him, or nobody to back him up. But when he walked up across the hill and narrowed those little eyes, as he looked down upon that city, he saw something that none of the rest of them saw. All of them seen the gaiety and stuff of the city. But he saw the pending judgment of God, and he prophesied against it. They called him "crazy." But eleven years later, it all happened just exactly the way he said.

He never changes His plan. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. His ways are the same. His Word is the same. All, He is the same. He is full of mercy when someone is ready to repent, but judgment will follow if you don't repent.

Sa femme l’a tenu et a tâté son pouls; ses yeux, son visage avait noirci, ses yeux... il ne faisait pas semblant, ses yeux étaient ressortis, puis se sont enfoncés au fond de leurs orbites. J’ai dit: «Tenez-vous tranquilles.» J’ai regardé là en bas vers lui, et j’ai pensé: «Oh! cet homme est étendu là, mort!» E-139 Here sits Mr. Way, an Englishman, setting here on the side, right here now, just noticed him setting here. He is come from Indiana. He is an Englishman. His wife is a—a registered nurse. Fine man! One day, I talked to him. I was preaching in the meeting, he resented what I said, in his heart, and, when he did, he dropped dead right in the audience. There he died. His wife took a hold of him and felt him; his eyes, face turned dark, his eyes… not put on, his eyes pushed out and went back into the back of his head. I said, "Stand still." Looked down there at him, and I thought, "Oh, there lays that man, dead."

He is gone, just about; just barely breathing." Said, "Will you pray?"
I said, "Let's pray."
