So now, just before we approach Him in His Word, let's bow our heads and approach Him in prayer.
Blessed heavenly Father, tonight it's a grand privilege that we have to come to Thee. And we are glad that we can say that we are the children of God by grace. And one day we were alienated from God, without hope, without mercy, without Christ. And then He died in our stead to reconcile us back to God.
And today it does not yet appear just what we shall be in the final end, but we know we'll have a body like His own glorious body, for we shall see Him as He is. And what a real time that is ahead of us for this great event, to see our blessed Lord Jesus.

Et je pense qu’il l’a fait. Les gens se sont précipités sur moi, il y a quelques instants.
| E-3 We pray that this night that He will forgive us of all of our sins and trespasses. And as we approach His glorious Word, may we have fellowship, through the reading of the Word, and the preaching of the Word. May He save the lost and bring together the great ransomed Church of God. And may He heal the sick and do many miracles tonight. For we ask it in the Name of the Lord Jesus. Amen.
Last evening I was just a little late with you. And I knew I'd be a little late tonight, 'cause I asked my good friend, Tommy Osborn, to speak for me tonight just before coming to the platform. And I suppose he's did that. They just rushed over after me few moments ago.

E-4 Et maintenant, voici qu’après cette soirée, il nous reste encore trois services. Et consacrons tout ce que nous avons à ces services. Ce matin mon coeur était tellement heureux. Et alors que je vais de lieu en lieu... ce matin, j’ai participé à un petit déjeuner des hommes d’affaires. J’étais tellement rassasié que j’avais de la peine à parler, d’entendre les grands témoignages des hommes qui ont combattu pour remporter le prix et qui ont navigué sur des mers de sang, et d’entendre parler ces vieux guerriers.
Ensuite, lorsque je suis sorti, une jeune fille est venue à ma rencontre, elle m’a dit que son nom avait été inscrit dans le registre des gens qui se mouraient du cancer. Et le Seigneur l’a guérie au cours de la réunion l’autre soir. Elle était si heureuse.
Un autre jeune frère s’est levé, celui dont quelque chose n’allait pas bien depuis la Première Guerre mondiale, et il avait assisté à mes réunions quelque part auparavant, et il avait été appelé. Sa foi avait scellé son témoignage là, dans l’assistance. Et il est retourné voir le médecin, à la même clinique qui avait déclaré qu’il était dans ce piteux état, et le médecin a dit: «Il n’en reste aucune trace nulle part.»
| E-4 And now, this, after tonight, leaves us three more services. And let's put everything that we have in these services. This morning my heart was so happy. And as I go from place to place... I come out of a little businessman's breakfast this morning; I was so full, I could hardly speak, to hear the great testimonies of men who's fought to win the prize and sailed through bloody seas, and hear those old warriors talking.
Then when I stepped outside, a little lady met me that was on the dying list with cancer, she said. And the Lord healed her the other night in the meeting. She was so happy.
Another little brother raised up, which was something wrong with him since the First World War, and he'd been in my meetings before somewhere, and was called out. His faith had sealed his testimony, out in the audience. And he went back to the doctor, the same clinic that had pronounced him in this bad condition and he said, "There's not one trace of it left anywhere."

Et le Seigneur Jésus l’avait guéri et l’avait rétabli. Et il a dit qu’il n’était pas encore un chrétien, et que la veille au soir on lui a dit qu’il doit devenir un chrétien, et il a accepté Christ. Ensuite, pendant que nous nous tenions juste là, le Saint-Esprit est descendu juste là dans la rue, et s’est mis à se mouvoir et à lui révéler les choses qu’il avait faites. C’est un jour glorieux que d’être dans la Présence de Dieu.
| E-5 And just one testimony after another. Then just as I got into the place where I'm staying, I'd been talking to one of our fine Christian brothers after the meeting. And the Lord met with us in a marvelous way.
And then when we got done, a little fellow walked up with a little mustache, nice looking little fellow kind of broken English. And found out he was Finnish. And he said, "Last evening you spoke to me in the meeting, and called me out, and told me I was there for a certain purpose. And the doctors had performed an operation and it would not heal. I believe he said, he said he had pus on the place or something. And how the Lord Jesus had healed him and made him well. And he said that he had not been a Christian as yet, and last night he was told that he must be a Christian, and he accepted Christ. Then while we were standing right there, down come the Holy Spirit right there in the street, and began to move and tell him the things that had been done. It's been a glorious day to be in the Presence of God.

E-6 Et puis, je me pose parfois des questions. Je me décourage tellement que c’est extraordinaire que ma femme arrive à supporter. Je vais çà et là, et je... Après la réunion, je me sens vraiment lunatique. Je pleure un peu et je me promène un peu, et je dis: «Oh! je suis totalement un raté. Je ne vois pas pourquoi le Seigneur a quelque chose à faire avec moi.» Cela arrive lorsque je sors de cette onction. Vous voyez? Vous voyez, c’est... Lorsque vous êtes là-haut, vous sentez comme si vous pouvez emporter le monde entier, et lorsque vous êtes ici en bas, ça va bien. Mais cela arrive entre les deux moments. Vous voyez? C’est là que cela vous saisit.
C’est comme Elie lorsqu’il était là-haut sur la montagne, et il... Eh bien, il a fait descendre le feu du ciel. Ensuite il a fait descendre la pluie du ciel, après trois ans sans pluie. Quelle onction! Il a appelé quatre cents prêtres de Baal et les a décapités. Quelle puissante onction! Ensuite il est allé dans le désert, et à la menace d’une femme il a fui dans le désert. | E-6 And then, I wonder sometimes. I get so discouraged; it's a wonder my wife can put up with me. I go around, and I... After the meeting, I feel so moody. I cry awhile, and walk around awhile, and say, "Oh, I'm a total failure. I don't see why the Lord ever had anything to do with me." It's coming out from under that anointing. You see? See that's... When you're up there, you feel like you could pack the world away, and when you're down here, it's all right. But it's coming between the two. See? That's where it gets you.
Like Elijah was up on the mountain and he... Why, he called fire out of heaven. Then he called rain out of the heavens, after it hadn't rained for three years. What anointing. Called up four hundred Baalim priests and chopped their heads off. What a powerful anointing. Then went down into the desert, and the threat of a woman run him out into the desert. And when the anointing left him, he was forty days wandering out there in that wilderness, and God found him pulled back in a cave. That's right. No need to try to explain it. You can't.

E-7 Considérez Jonas, dans quel état il était. Eh bien, l’Eternel lui avait dit de descendre à Ninive, mais Ninive était une ville qui était difficile à évangéliser. Alors il s’est dit qu’il irait à Tarsis et que ce serait mieux. Vous savez, beaucoup parmi nous cherchent alors le chemin facile, la voie facile, mais des fois Dieu veut que nous prenions le chemin rocailleux, la voie difficile.
J’aime ce vieux cantique qui dit: Je prendrai le chemin avec le petit nombre de méprisés qui suivent le Seigneur.
| E-7 Look at Jonah, how he was. After the anointing left him and he preached and a great city repented... Even put sackcloth on their animals, and I've always thought, "If there's anybody that had a real good case of symptoms, it was Jonah." Did you ever notice what condition that man was in?
Now, the Lord told him to go down to Nineveh, but Nineveh was a hard city to preach to. So he thought if he'd go over to Tarshish it would be better. You know there's a lot of us finds that easy route now, the easy way. But God sometimes wants us to take the rough route, the hard way.
I like that old song: I'll take the way with the Lord's despised few.

E-8 Et en y allant, il était rétrograde. Et la tempête s’est levée, et le navire allait couler. Alors on a demandé aux gens de lui lier les mains et les pieds, et on l’a jeté par-dessus bord. Vous parlez d’un cas de symptômes, il en avait vraiment. Eh bien, lorsqu’il regardait de ce côté-ci, c’était le ventre du gros poisson; lorsqu’il regardait de ce côté-là, c’était le ventre du gros poisson. Partout où il regardait, c’était le ventre du gros poisson. Je suis certain que personne ici ne se trouve dans une telle condition. Mais savez-vous ce qu’il a dit? Il a refusé de considérer tout cela. Il a dit: «Ce sont toutes de vaines idoles.» Il a dit: «Je regarderai encore une fois vers Ton saint temple.» C’est juste.
Vous ne pourrez pas empêcher un saint de prier. C’est l’arme la plus puissante que l’homme ait jamais eue, et il a dit: «Je regarderai vers Ton saint temple.»
| E-8 And on his way down he was backslid. And the storm came up, and the ship was going down. So they had them to tie his hands and feet, and throwed him out. And a big fish swallowed him, and he... The fish after it eats, we know, goes to the bottom of the sea then to rest on the bottom of the sea on the sand. Feed your goldfish and watch him go right down to the bottom of the bowl and rest their little swimmers on the bottom, their fins.
And to think this man on the stormy sea, backslid, hands and feet tied in the belly of a whale, way down in the bottom of the ocean, vomit all over him, seaweeds around his neck... You talk about a case of symptoms, he really had it. Why, if he looked this a way, it was the whale's belly. If he looked that way, it was whale's belly. Everywhere he looked was whale's belly. There's no one in here in that condition; I'm sure. But you know what he said? He refused to see any of it. He said, "They're all lying vanities." He said, "Once more will I look to Your holy temple." That's right.
You can't hide a saint from his prayer. That's the powerfulest weapon that man ever had, and he said, "I'll look towards Thy holy temple."

Now, if Jonah under those circumstances, could look towards an earthly temple where a man that backslid prayed the prayer and had faith and got the results that Jonah did, how much more can we tonight not only look towards Solomon's temple, but look towards the throne of God where Christ has died, setting at the right hand of God, making intercessions upon our confessions. Oh, my. That ought to cure any diseases, shouldn't it?

| E-10 Those symptoms like them that Jonah had and under the, a different setup far less than ours. We have the best outcome, and yet we stand around and wonder whether God will do it. We ought to be ashamed of ourselves.

Now, tonight we want to take one Scripture out of Saint John 14, Saint John 14:8.
Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it will sufficeth us.
In other words, it will satisfy. Now, that's the aged-old question that's been asked through the ages. "Show us the Father and it will satisfy."

| E-12 And we know how Philip was answered back by our Lord. He said, "I've been so long with you, and you don't know Me? Well, when you've seen Me, you've seen the Father. Why sayest thou, show us the Father?"
Now, we want to break this down just a little bit. If God is so great, why can't we see Him? That's what I've often wondered. I want to take for just a short subject, not over three hours... I wish to take just four ways to see God. And if by God's Word, if I can prove to you, by God's Word, and by God's Presence, that God is right here now, will you believe it? All right.

E-13 Nous allons voir Dieu dans Son univers, Dieu dans Sa Parole, Dieu dans Son Fils, Dieu dans Son peuple. Nous pouvons continuer pendant une heure, à donner des sujets comme cela. Et j’ai souvent fait cette déclaration, à savoir que chaque culte qui se soit jamais déclenché au monde, ce n’est rien d’autre que des enfants affamés qui cherchent du pain. Et si le prédicateur ne lui donne pas le Pain de Vie, le diable lui donnera une poubelle à laquelle manger. Alors nous devons leur donner le Pain de Vie, la Parole de Vie.
Bon, nous voyons ici, même Job, le plus ancien Bible–Livre de la Bible, plutôt... Le plus ancien Livre de la Bible, c’est Job. Et Job était un homme juste. Et il avait été éprouvé par Dieu.
| E-13 We're going to see God in His universe, God in His Word, God in His Son, God in His people. We could go on for a hour with subjects like that. But being with a hoarse throat, doing the best I can to struggle through, I am going to speak on those four things. And by those four witnesses, when three is a confirmation. Yes, two is a confirmation. But if four will confirm it, it'll be a double confirmation. Then we ought to believe with all our hearts.
Now, this... No one ever knowed of God but what longed to see God. There's just something in the human heart that calls out to see God. And I've often made that statement that every cult that ever raised in the world, are nothing in the world, but hungry children seeking bread. And if the preacher doesn't give him the Bread of Life, the Devil will give him a garbage can to eat out of. So we got to give them the Bread of Life, the Word of Life.
Now, we find here, even Job, the oldest Bible--Book in the Bible, rather... The oldest Book in the Bible was Job. And Job was a righteous man. And how he was tested of God.

E-14 Eh bien, Dieu ne tente pas les hommes, mais Dieu éprouve les hommes, Il les teste. Dieu ne peut pas vous tenter, mais Dieu peut vous tester. Et chaque fils qui vient à Dieu doit être testé ou formé comme enfant, avant qu’il devienne un fils. Et si nous n’arrivons pas à supporter le châtiment, la Bible dit que nous devenons des enfants illégitimes et non des enfants de Dieu, parce qu’un enfant de Dieu est né de Dieu, et il supportera le test n’importe où, n’importe quand, dans n’importe quelle situation (C’est vrai.), un enfant qui est né de Dieu. Celui qui est né de Dieu, il ne commet pas de péché.
Remarquez. Maintenant, Job passait par un temps de test. Et Satan avait dit à Dieu: «Je vais faire qu’il Te maudisse en face.» Voyez-vous ce vieil accusateur?
Dieu a dit: «Tu n’y arriveras pas.» J’aime cela. Dieu avait confiance en Job. Et remarquez, Satan vint vers lui, et il a tout fait sauf lui ôter la vie. Et lorsque tous les ennuis sont arrivés à Job... J’aime le voir pendant ce grand moment de test, pendant que les membres de son église sont venus et l’ont accusé d’être un pécheur en secret. Et cependant Job s’en est tenu au...?... Il savait qu’il s’en tenait fermement au sacrifice auquel Dieu avait pourvu, un holocauste; il savait que c’est ce que Dieu avait exigé, alors il a tenu bon. Oh! j’aime le voir pendant qu’il était assis sur ce tas de cendre, se grattant les ulcères, ses enfants étant morts, et toute sa richesse perdue. Et il était assis là, se grattant les ulcères. Et sa femme a même dit: «Job, pourquoi ne maudis-tu pas Dieu et ne meurs?»
| E-14 Now, God doesn't tempt men, but God tries men, tests them. God cannot tempt you, but God can test you. And every son that cometh to God must be tested or child-trained before he can be a son. And if we can't stand chastisement, the Bible said we become illegitimate children and not the children of God, 'cause a child of God is borned of God, and he will stand the test anywhere, any time, on any condition (That's right.), a child that's borned of God. He that's borned of God, does not commit sin.
Notice. Now, Job was going through a testing time. And Satan had told God, "I'll make him curse you to your face." See that old accuser?
God said, "You just can't do it." I like that. God had confidence in Job. And notice, Satan came to him, and he done everything but take his life. And when all the troubles had happened to Job... I like to see him when that great hour of testing, when his members of his church came and accused him of a secret sinner. And Job still held the...?... He knowed he was standing firm on God's provided sacrifice, a burnt offering; and he knowed God required that so he stood firm. Oh, I like to see him when he was setting on the ash heap, scraping his boils, his children gone, and all of his riches gone. And there he was setting scraping his boils. And his wife even said, "Job, why don't you curse God and die?"

E-15 Il a dit: «Tu parles comme une femme insensée. L’Eternel a donné, et l’Eternel a ôté; que le Nom de l’Eternel soit béni!» Ce grand moment de test. Et puis de l’Est vint le jeune Elihu. J’aurais souhaité que nous ayons suffisamment de temps pour analyser ce nom et vous montrer ce qu’il signifie pour... représentant le Fils de Dieu. Et tout homme qui tient bon dans l’épreuve, même pour le Fils de Dieu, Dieu viendra à lui et s’occupera de lui après la fin du test.
Et Elihu est venu et s’est mis à dire à Job ce qu’il avait fait de mal. Mais il ne l’a pas accusé d’être un pécheur en secret. Il ne lui a pas dit combien de péchés il avait commis, mais [il lui a dit] qu’un Juste venait et qu’Il se tiendrait à la brèche entre le pécheur et le Dieu saint, et établirait le pont. Ensuite, lorsque Job a compris cela, étant un prophète, il est entré dans l’Esprit. Il y a des choses qui commencent à apparaître lorsque les hommes entrent dans l’Esprit; il y a des choses qui se produisent.
| E-15 He said, "Thou speakest like a foolish woman. The Lord gave, and the Lord taken away. Blessed be the Name of the Lord," that great testing time. Then down from the east came the little Elihu. Wish that we had time to break that name down and show you that it means to--representing the Son of God. And any man that stands the test, even to the Son of God, God will come to him and minister to him after the testings is over.
And Elihu came down and begin to tell Job what He had done wrong. But He didn't accuse him of being a secret sinner. He told him not how much sin he had done, but that there was coming a just One Who could stand in the breach between a sinful man and a holy God, and bridge the way. Then when Job caught it, being a prophet, he got in the Spirit. Things begin to happen when men get in the Spirit; business takes place.

E-16 Job s’est levé et a dit: «Je sais que mon Rédempteur est vivant, et qu’Il se lèvera le dernier sur la terre. Quand ma peau sera détruite, Il se lèvera, quand je n’aurai plus de chair, je verrai Dieu.» Quand le prophète entre dans l’Esprit, les choses changent.
Ce même Job désirait ardemment voir Dieu. Une fois il a dit: «Si seulement je pouvais me rendre chez Lui (pour ainsi dire). Si je pouvais frapper [Frère Branham frappe.–N.D.E.] à Sa porte.» C’est quelque chose que l’homme désire ardemment voir.
Et je me suis fait le devoir ce soir par l’oeuvre de Dieu–la Parole de Dieu, et les oeuvres de Dieu, de vous prouver que chacun de vous peut voir Dieu. Il s’agit simplement de la manière dont vous regardez la chose.
| E-16 Job stood up and he said, "I know my Redeemer liveth, and the last days He will stand on the earth: though the skin worms destroys this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God." The prophet in the Spirit, things turn.
This same Job longed to see God. One time he said, "If I could only go to his house as it was. If I could knock [Brother Branham knocks--Ed.] on his door." It's something that man longs to see.
And I taken it upon myself tonight by the work of God--the Word of God, and the works of God, to prove to you that everyone of you can see God. It's just the way you look at it.

E-17 Tout récemment il y avait un vieux pêcheur là à la rivière, là où j’habite. Et un petit garçon avait coutume d’aller pêcher avec lui. Ce petit garçon était un chrétien, et il fréquentait l’école du dimanche. Ainsi un jour il a posé cette question à sa maman, et il a dit: «Maman, y a-t-il un moyen par lequel nous puissions voir Dieu?»
«Eh bien, a-t-elle dit, mon chéri, je ne sais pas. Demande à ta monitrice de l’école du dimanche.»
Alors il est allé demander à la monitrice de l’école du dimanche. Et elle a dit: «Je ne sais pas. Demande au pasteur.»
Et le pasteur a dit: «Non, tu ne peux jamais voir Dieu. Personne ne peut voir Dieu.» Cela a découragé le petit garçon.
| E-17 Some time ago there was an old fisherman down on the river where I live. And the little boy used to go fishing with him. This little boy was a Christian boy, and he went to Sunday school. So one day he asked his mama; he said, "Mama, is there any way that we could ever see God?"
"Why," she said, "honey, I don't know. Ask your Sunday school teacher."
So he went and asked the Sunday school teacher, and she said, "I don't know. Ask the pastor."
And the pastor said, "No, you can never see God. No man can see God." It discouraged the little boy.

E-18 Alors un jour, sur la rivière, près de Six Miles Island, il était là avec le vieux pêcheur. Excité, il s’est précipité jusqu’au–vers la poupe et il a dit: «Monsieur, je vais vous poser une question à laquelle ni maman, ni la monitrice de l’école du dimanche, ni le pasteur n’ont pu me donner la réponse.» Il a dit: «Si Dieu est si grand, pourquoi ne Le voyons-nous pas?»
Il a dit: «Un homme peut-il voir Dieu, monsieur?»
Cela toucha le vieux pêcheur; il tira les rames sur ses genoux et prit le petit garçon dans ses bras. Il dit: «Que Dieu bénisse ton petit coeur, mon chéri. Tout ce que j’ai vu pendant ces quarante dernières années, c’était Dieu.»
Vous voyez, vous devez avoir Dieu ici à l’intérieur pour voir Dieu là dehors. Si vous ne L’avez pas ici à l’intérieur, vous ne Le verrez pas là-dehors. Et vous devez L’avoir.
| E-18 So one day, upon the river near the Six Mile Island, he was up with the old fisherman. There come up a storm, and as the old fisherman was coming back down the river with the white, gray beard hanging over his bosom, the little boy setting in the stern of the boat... And as the rhythm of the oars on the water, as he pulled the boat, there's was a rainbow came out. And oh, this old fisherman started looking to that rainbow as he pulled his oars. And the little fellow noticed that tears were running down his cheeks. And he said...
Excitedly he run up to the... towards the stern of the boat and he said, "Sir, I'm going to ask you a question that my mama, Sunday school teacher, or pastor could not answer me." He said, "If God is so great, why can't we see Him?" Said, "Can any man see God, sir?"
It got the old fisherman; he pulled the oars in his lap and took the little boy in his arms. He said, "God bless your little heart, honey. All I've seen for the past forty years has been God."
You see, you have to have God in here to see God out there. If you haven't got Him in here, you'll never see Him out there, but you've got to have Him.

E-19 Combien j’aime Le contempler dans les levers et dans les couchers du soleil! J’aime Le contempler dans Son univers. Voyons s’Il opère et habite dans Son univers. Comment cette terre se tient-elle ici, et comment peut-on déterminer avec précision sur cent ans les moments où la lune et le soleil se croiseront? Qu’est-ce qui contrôle cela?
J’aimerais vous demander quelque chose. J’observe la nature, les animaux sauvages, je monte très haut dans le nord au cours d’une partie de chasse, et pendant que je suis là-haut, je commence à remarquer les petits canards qui vont là dans le nord, et ils se font des nids, là-haut dans la vase, et y pondent des oeufs, et les petits canetons éclosent. Ils sont élevés sur ce petit étang.
Ces très gros canards... lorsque c’est l’automne, et la première fois que la neige tombe sur cette montagne et qu’il gèle, cette brise froide descend sur cet étang au-dessus duquel il y a un certain petit canard, sur cet étang-là. Il n’a jamais de sa vie quitté cet endroit. Il y est né. Tout ce qu’il connaît, c’est cet étang; mais il va courir juste là au-dessus de cet étang, dresser son petit bec en l’air, pousser trois ou quatre cris, et chaque canard qui se trouve sur l’étang viendra directement vers lui. Et il quittera cet étang et se dirigera aussi droit que possible vers la Louisiane, sans boussole.
| E-19 How I love to watch Him in the sunrises and the sunsets. I like to watch Him in His universe. Let's see if He deals and dwells in His universe. How does this world stand here and can be timed for a hundred years when the moon and sun will pass each other? What controls that?
I want to ask you something. I watch wild nature, wild animals. I go way up in the northland on a hunting trip, and while I'm up there, I begin to notice the little ducks that go up into the northland, and they make their nest, up there in the slime, and lay their eggs, and the little ducklings are born. They're raised on that little pond.
Them great big ducks by the time fall of the year comes, and the first time there comes a snow across that mountain, and they freezes, that cold breeze comes down into that pond there's a certain little duck on that pond. He never left there in his life. He was born there. All he knows is that pond, but he will run right out on that pond, stick that little honker up in the air, make three or four honks, and every duck on the pond will come right to him. And he will raise off of that pond, and go just as straight to Louisiana, as he can go without a compass.

E-20 Frère, si Dieu n’est pas dans Son univers... Nous devrons certainement être aussi intelligents que le canard, mais, voyez-vous, le canard connaît son conducteur, mais pas l’homme. Dieu a donné au canard un instinct pour partir de cet endroit-là et fuir le gel, et le canard écoute son conducteur. Mais Dieu a donné à l’homme un Conducteur, le Saint-Esprit, et nous Le rejetons! Il n’est pas étonnant que nous soyons tout le temps dans le pétrin.
Observez Dieu dans Son univers. Si vous sortez là et lisez le journal, et le journal dit: «Demain il fera beau temps.» Et si vous voyez cette vieille truie déplacer ses spathes du côté nord de la colline pour les amener là sur le flanc sud de la colline, ne prêtez aucune attention à ce que dit le commentateur. Ce cochon en sait plus à ce sujet que le commentateur, et c’est juste. Certainement. Elle possède un instinct que Dieu lui a donné, et elle obéit à cela. Mais nous, nous avons un instinct, non pas un instinct, mais une conduite, et nous avons peur de cela. Voilà la différence!
| E-20 Brother, if God isn't in His universe... Surely we ought to have as good intelligence as a duck, but you see duck knows his leader, but man doesn't. God gave a duck an instinct to get away from there, and get away from the freeze, and the duck listens to his leader. But God gave man a Leader, the Holy Spirit, and we turn Him down. No wonder we're in trouble all the time.
Watch God in His universe. You go out here and read the newspaper. And the newspaper will say, "Tomorrow it's going to be pretty weather." And you watch that old sow take the shucks off of the north side of the hill and bring them over on the south side of the hill; don't you pay any attention to what that news commentator's saying. That hog knows more about it than he will ever know and that's right. Certainly. She's got an instinct that God gave her, and she abides by it. But we've got an instinct, not an instinct, but a Leadership, and we're afraid of It. That's the difference.

E-21 Combien! Dieu demeure dans la nature, dans Son univers. Il a créé les grandes collines et les petites collines. Je remarquais que tout... Il est un Dieu de variété. Il a créé des fleurs blanches, des fleurs bleues, et des fleurs rouges. Il a créé des hommes de petite taille, des hommes de grande taille, des hommes aux cheveux noirs, aux cheveux roux, aux cheveux blonds; des gens au teint clair, au teint sombre, des gens au teint brun, des gens au teint noir. Il est un Dieu de variété. Il n’est pas la chaîne de magasins Sears and Roebuck, la chaîne de magasins Harmony house. Il est tout à fait un Dieu de variété. Et je suis heureux qu’Il le soit. Il est dans Sa nature, Son univers.
Il fait que chaque étoile se déplace parfaitement. Tout dans les cieux se déplace sur Son ordre. Mais l’homme qu’Il a créé à Son image tourne le dos et dit: «Je ne crois pas cela.» Voilà la différence. La raison pour laquelle nous nous retrouvons dans la condition où nous sommes, c’est parce que les canards connaissent leur conducteur; mais nous, nous ne connaissons pas notre Conducteur.
| E-21 How that God dwells in nature, His universe. How He makes the big hills and the little hills. I have noticed all how... He's a God of variety. He makes white flowers, and blue flowers, and red flowers. He makes little men, big men, black-headed, red-headed, blond-headed; light people, dark people, brown people, black people. He's a God of variety. He's not a Sears and Roebuck harmony house. He is absolutely a God of variety, and I'm glad that He is. He's in His nature, His universe.
How he makes every star to move to its perfection. Everything in the heavens will move at His command. But the man that He made in His image, will turn his back and say, "I don't believe it." That's the difference. That's the reason we're in the condition we are, because ducks know their leader, but we don't know our Leader.

E-22 Remarquez. Un jour j’étais... Je vais dans les montagnes, pas tellement pour chasser du gibier, mais pour être seul. Ma mère est presque une demi-Indienne Cherokee. Et le... Ma conversion n’a pas du tout ôté de moi cet amour de la nature. J’aime cela, parce que je vois Dieu dans Son univers. C’était mon premier enseignant; je m’asseyais à côté de la mère nature, et elle m’enseignait les oeuvres de Dieu.
J’observe une petite fleur, comment elle meurt et tombe en terre. Elle pourrait être jeune. Elle pourrait être vieille. Mais lorsque le froid la frappe, elle incline la tête, elle s’abandonne à la mort. On lui fait un cortège funèbre. Les étoiles pleurent, et la pluie tombe et enterre la petite fleur–la petite semence, et toute la semence meurt, elle gèle, elle éclate, la pulpe s’échappe, la tige meurt, les pétales meurent. La fleur est-elle morte? Pas du tout.
| E-22 Notice. One day I was... I'd go to the mountains, not so much to hunt the wild game, but to be alone. My mother's almost a half Cherokee Indian. And the... My conversion never took that love of the wild out of me. I love it, 'cause I see God in His universe. It was my first teacher to set down by mother nature, and she's taught me of the things of God.
I watch a little flower how it dies and goes into the ground. It may be young. It may be old. But when the frost hits it, it bows its head, commits itself to death. They'll have a funeral procession. The stars weep, and the rains fall. It buries the little flower--the little seed, and all the seed's gone, freezes, bursts open, pulp runs out, stalk's gone, petals gone. Is the flower gone? Never.

E-23 Lorsque vient le printemps, il y a un petit germe de vie là qu’aucun homme de science ne peut jamais ou ne verra jamais. Aussi certain que le soleil du printemps commence à briller, cette petite fleur revivra. Si Dieu a frayé une voie pour qu’une fleur revive, qu’en est-il d’un homme qui a été créé à Son image? Voyez-vous comment est la résurrection? Pas la réincarnation, mais la résurrection; ce n’est pas un remplacement, mais une restauration de la même chose qui est allée en terre.
Oh! j’étais assis ici tout récemment en train de prendre un peu de crème glacée, en compagnie d’un vieux ministre méthodiste. Et nous suivions une émission sur l’agriculture. Et on disait que le petit club 4-H avait mis au point une machine si perfectionnée qu’elle pouvait produire un grain de maïs si parfait que si vous prenez d’un sac une poignée de maïs venant du champ et un tas de maïs provenant de cette machine, et les mélangez, il vous sera impossible de les différencier. Les deux produiront le même genre de flocons de maïs, la même farine de maïs. Si vous ouvrez les deux grains de maïs, le coeur se trouve au milieu, il y a la même quantité de calcium, la même quantité de potasse, la même quantité de pétrole, la peau qui les recouvre, tout vraiment parfait.
Et j’ai dit: «Ecoutez ça, Docteur Spurgeon.»
Il a dit: «Oui, Billy, j’écoutais tout simplement.» Il a dit: «Il y a un moyen pour savoir.» Il a dit: «Enterrez-les, et celui que l’homme a fabriqué ne revivra jamais. Mais celui que Dieu a créé dans le champ possède un germe de vie, et cela revivra.»
| E-23 When springtime comes, there's a little germ of life there that no scientist never can or never will find. And just as certain as the spring sun begins to shine, that little flower will live again. If God made a way for a flower to live again, what about a man that's made in His image? See how the resurrection is? Not reincarnation but resurrection, not replacement but bringing up the same that went down.
Oh, I was setting here not long ago eating a little ice cream with an old Methodist minister. And we was listening at the agriculture hour. And it was said that the little 4-H Club had perfected a machine to where it could produce a grain of corn, so perfect, that you could take a handful out of a sack out of the field and a stack that the machine had produced, mix them together; you could never tell them no more apart. Both would make the same kind of corn flakes, same cornmeal. Both of them cut the grains open, the heart was in the center, the same amount of calcium, the same amount of potash, the same amount of petroleum, the skin on it, everything just perfect.
And I said, "Listen to that, Dr. Spurgeon."
He said, "Yes, Billy, I was just listening." He said, "There is one way to find out." Said, "Bury them, and the one that man made never lives again. But the one that God made in the field has a germ of life, and it lives again."

E-24 J’ai dit: «Frère Spurgeon, vous ferez mieux de me retenir. Je vais vous embarrasser juste ici dans ce restaurant, parce que je vais me mettre à crier.» C’est juste. Considérez Dieu dans Sa nature, comment Il fait les choses. Combien j’aime contempler le coucher du soleil! Tenez, il y a quelques temps j’étais là-haut dans le Colorado. Et c’était... C’est l’un de mes terrains de chasse favoris. Et nous étions en train de chasser l’élan, et j’avais mon cheval là au fond, et le cowboy était très loin, au-delà de trente ou quarante ou cinquante miles [48 ou 64 ou 80 km] de l’autre côté. Et le temps était sec cette année-là. Le troupeau d’élans n’était pas descendu, il n’avait pas neigé. Et j’étais là-haut près de Corral Peaks, à des kilomètres et des kilomètres de la civilisation. Combien j’aime me retrouver seul!
| E-24 I said, "Brother Spurgeon, you better hold me. I'll embarrass you right here in this restaurant, 'cause I just got to shout." That's right. You may look like a Christian, act like a Christian, set by a Christian, and belong to a Christian church. But if the germ of the life of the resurrected Christ, isn't in you, you'll die, and that's the finish of it. You'll be gone. But they that are borned again will live again just as certain as God's Word is true.
Look at God in His nature, how He does things. How I love to watch the sunset. Here some time ago I was way up in Colorado. And it was... That's one of my favorite hunting ground. And we were hunting elk, and I had my horse back there, and the rancher was way back over thirty or forty or fifty miles on the other side. And it was dry that year. The elk herd hadn't come down, been no snow. And I was way up around the Corral Peaks, miles and miles from civilization. How I love to get alone.

E-25 Une tempête a éclaté, le genre qu’on ne peut rencontrer que dans les montagnes. Le soleil brille pendant quelques instants, ensuite il y a une petite pluie, puis la neige tombe, et ensuite elle fond, et ainsi de suite; le climat est instable là-haut. Et un orage a éclaté, et je me tenais à côté d’un arbre qui avait été abattu par le vent là dans les bois. Je me suis caché derrière un arbre, et je suis resté là jusqu’à ce que la tempête est passée.
Lorsque la tempête était terminée, je m’étais pratiquement endormi, appuyé contre un arbre. Et un moment après, lorsque l’orage s’est apaisé, j’ai regardé en direction de l’ouest. Le soleil était en train de se coucher. Oh! je me suis dit: «Comme c’est beau! Regardez ce beau coucher du soleil!» Cela ressemblait à l’oeil de Dieu regardant à travers ces crevasses, en train d’observer le monde. C’est alors que le vieux loup gris s’est mis à hurler là au sommet, à la lisière de la forêt. Et sa compagne s’est mise à répondre en bas dans la vallée. Oh! j’ai pleuré comme un enfant. Il y a là quelque chose que j’aime tout simplement. Et j’ai entendu le grand et vieil élan mâle laisser échapper un mugissement. Et sa compagne a répondu de l’autre côté. Et je me tenais simplement là, pleurant comme un enfant. Je ne pouvais pas m’en empêcher. C’est ce qu’a dit David: «La profondeur appelait la profondeur.»
| E-25 There'd come a storm, as only the mountains can have it. It'll be sun shining for a few moments, then it'll little rain, then it'll snow, and then it'll melt it off, and so forth, just changing weather up high. And it come up a storm, and I was near a blow-down almost at timberline. So I just got behind a tree and stayed until the storm was over.
When the storm was over, I almost had went to sleep leaning up against a tree. After awhile when the storm quieted down, I looked towards the west. The sun was setting. Oh, I thought, "How beautiful that is. Look at that beautiful sunset." It looked like the eye of God looking through those crevices watching the world.
Just then the old gray wolf begin to howl up on top near the timberline. And the mate begin to answer it down in the valley. Oh, I wept like a baby. There's something about it that I just love. And I heard the big, old male elk let out a bugle. And the mate answered on the other side. I just stood there crying like a baby. I couldn't help it. It's what David said, "The deep was calling to the deep."

E-26 Je regardais autour de moi alors que le soleil se couchait. Les–les arbres avaient gelé à cause de l’orage. Des glaçons étaient suspendus aux conifères, et il s’était formé un arc-en-ciel. Je me suis dit: «Oh! gloire à Dieu! Tu vis dans les montagnes. C’est ici que Tu te manifestes. Voilà l’arc-en-ciel. Qu’est-ce que cela signifie? Cela signifie une alliance qui montre que Dieu ne détruira plus jamais le mo–le monde par les eaux.»
Et j’ai vu l’alliance de Jésus dans le Nouveau Testament. C’est Lui qui ressemblait à la pierre de jaspe et de sardoine. Un arc-en-ciel était au-dessus de Lui, un arc-en-ciel à sept couleurs, les sept âges de l’Eglise semblable à la pierre de jaspe et de sardoine: Benjamin et Ruben, le Premier et le Dernier, Celui qui était, Celui qui est et Celui qui vient, la Racine et le Rejeton de David, l’Etoile du matin.
Je me suis dit: «Le voilà. C’est là Sa promesse. Ô Dieu, Tu cries là dans ce loup, et Tu cries par ici dans cet élan, et voici que Tu te manifestes dans l’arc-en-ciel.» Oh! certainement. Regardez partout. Vous Le verrez. Il est partout, si seulement vous regardez.
| E-26 I looked around as that sun was going down. The--the trees had froze over from the storm. Icicles were hanging on the evergreens, and it formed a rainbow. And I thought, "Oh, glory to God. You live in the mountains. Here You are showing Yourself. There's the rainbow. What does it mean? It means a covenant that God will never destroy the wo--world no more with water."
And I seen in the New Testament the covenant of Jesus. He was One to look upon as jasper and sardius stone. A rainbow was over Him, a rainbow with seven colors, the seven church ages as jasper and sardis: Benjamin and Reuben, the first, the last, He that was, which is and shall come, the Root and Offspring of David, the Morning Star.
I thought, "There He is. That's His promise. O God, You're screaming yonder in that wolf. And You're screaming over here in this elk, and here You are showing Yourself in the rainbow." Oh, sure. You look around. You'll see Him. He's everywhere if you'll just look.

E-27 Puis tout d’un coup, j’ai entendu un vieux petit écureuil de pins sauter sur une souche, le reste d’un arbre que le vent avait abattu. Je n’avais jamais entendu un tel bruit de ma vie. Seul un écureuil de pins peut faire un tel bruit. C’est un policier des bois au costume bleu. Il a sauté là sur cette souche, faisant: «Tchat, tchat, tchat, tchat, tchat, tchat, tchat,» comme s’il allait tout déchirer dans les bois.
Et je me suis dit: «Petit ami, pourquoi es-tu si excité?» J’étais plutôt vraiment un peu excité moi-même. Lorsque j’ai entendu ce loup appeler, avec cet arc-en-ciel, Dieu était tellement proche que j’ai posé mon fusil contre un arbre, et j’ai tournoyé et tournoyé en courant autour de l’arbre, en criant à tue-tête.

And I thought, "Little fellow, what you so excited about?" I'd been real kind of excited a little myself. When I heard that wolf calling and the rainbow, God was so close till I set my gun against a tree, and I run around, and around, and around the tree screaming to the top of my voice.
Why, if somebody would've come up there, they'd thought somebody was out of the insane institution. I didn't care. I was worshipping my God. Oh, I shouted. I shook my hands, and I screamed. I said, "O God, what a wonderful place to be. You're up here in the mountains, and You're showing Yourself in Your great universe. You're making known that You're here."

Eh bien, je me suis dit: «Seigneur, pourquoi m’as-Tu arrêté pendant que je criais? Eh bien, j’étais en train de Te louer, parce que je Te vois dans Ton univers. Je Te vois dans toute Ta nature. Well, I thought, "Lord, why did You stop me from shouting? Why, I was praising You, 'cause I see You in Your universe. I see You in all Your nature. Why, You are just everywhere here. I can hear You in the wild animals. I can hear Your voice speaking in the trees. 'Adam, where art thou?' Everywhere I can see You, and why did You stop me from worshipping You to look at this eagle?"

| E-29 Now, I believe that God is everywhere. And as I looked at the eagle, I thought, "Now, what would that old bird raise up there to stop me from shouting? And I happened to notice him, that one thing, he seemed like he wasn't afraid. That's one thing that's godly about him.
God don't want cowards. God wants men to be men, women to be women. He wants Christians to be Christians. Make your confession and stand there. That's the idea. Not scared to say this and scared to say that. Keep your convictions. Be what you are. That's what God wants you to do. Be what He wants you to be and don't be cowardly about it.

And I thought, "Well, he is not even scared if I've got my rifle in my hand." But of course, if he could've read my mind, he knowed I was admiring him, but his bravery. But he knew... I seen him feeling those wings like they do, the feathers back and forth. Now, he had a God-given gift, and that was two wings that he knowed he could be in the top of those trees before I could ever get that rifle to my shoulder. And he had confidence in it.

What ought a man to do with the baptism of the Holy Ghost, when he feels the Spirit of God operating right, blessing him, and giving him the deep things that he desires in the love that he desires of God; to fellowship, to walk with him. What can the Devil put before you?
Paul said, "O death, where is your sting? Grave, where is your victory? But thanks be to God Who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." Even death and the grave could not, nothing like scare that old apostle. He knowed he had fellowship with Christ. Yeah, but, "Thanks be to God Who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."

And as the air begin to come in off the mountains, he knowed just how to set that air in those wings how to pitch it. And he started raising up, up, up.
Oh, I stood and looked at him till he was just a little dot. I thought, "That's it, Lord. It's not jumping here, and join the Methodists, join the Baptists, join the Pentecostals, join the Oneness, join the Assemblies. That isn't it. Flop flop here, flop flop there with your letter, but it's just knowing how to set your wings into the power of the Holy Ghost. And when the wave of glory comes in, ride it...?... go on above.

And I thought, "It left that little old earthbound chipmunk setting there hollering, "Chatter, chatter, chatter, Days of miracles is past. No such a thing as Divine healing. No such a thing as the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Chatter, chatter here, chatter, chatter there." Just set your wings and ride away on the power of the living God. Sure. Don't have to listen to all this "Chatter, chatter here, and chatter, chatter there. "They're holy-rollers. There's nothing to it. Days of miracles is past." Just ride away. Amen. Oh, wonderful. God is in His universe. Do you believe it? Sure He's in His universe.
Now, is God in His Word? How many believes God is in His universe, say, "Amen"? [Congregation says, "Amen."--Ed.]

E-34 Voici une autre petite pensée qui me vient à l’esprit. Un infidèle, non pas... il y a bien des années, soixante ou soixante-quinze ans, parcourait cette nation, et il convertissait les gens à l’infidélisme. Et il était si intelligent que les prédicateurs avaient peur de l’affronter. Mais un jour, alors qu’il effectuait un voyage en Europe, il a eu une attaque d’apoplexie et il est revenu. | E-34 Just one more little thought on my mind comes this. An infidel not--several years, sixty, or seventy-five years ago passed through the nation, and he was making converts to infidelism. And he was so smart the preachers was afraid to attack him. But one day while he had been taking a Europe trip, he broke down and come back. He went up into the mountains to take a rest. And one day while walking out, he looked at the rocks. And he said, "Oh, rocks, are you there according to the book of science? Are you there according to the Word of God?" And he got so under conviction that he knelt down there in the path and gave his life to God.
The Bible said, "If they hold their peace, the rocks will immediately cry out." Something's going to teach people about God. I've watched birds, and animals, and can see God in His universe. We could hold that for two hours.

E-35 Dieu dans Son univers, maintenant Dieu dans Sa Parole. Croyez-vous que Dieu est dans Sa Parole? La Bible dit que la Parole de Dieu est semblable à une semence qu’un homme a plantée. C’est juste. Certainement; c’est une semence, et la vie se trouve dans la semence.
La seule chose que vous devez faire, c’est d’arroser la semence. Eh bien, je... Enregistrez-moi ce soir dans ces enregistreurs. Je n’ai pas d’excuses à présenter pour cette observation que je suis sur le point de faire. Alors c’est correct.
| E-35 God in His Universe, now God in His Word. You believe God is in His Word? The Bible said that the Word of God is like a seed that a man sowed. Now, you people here in California raise a lot oranges, citrus fruit. Did you know that that little tree when you plant it just about that high, half inch high, that every bushel of--of peaches, apples, oranges, grapefruit, everything that that little tree will ever bear in all of its life on the earth, is in it when you set it out? That's right. Certainly it is; it's a seed, and the life is in the seed.
The only thing you'll have to do is to water the seed. Well, I... You put me on record tonight in these recorders. I have no apology for this remark that I'm fixing to make. I believe, and can prove, that the right mental attitude towards any Divine promise of God will bring it to pass. Yes, sir. The right mental attitude, but you've got to have the right attitude. The--the attitude is what brings the results. If you say, "Yes, yes, I believe it but I don't know now." That's not the right attitude. The right attitude is to receive it, and say it's "THUS SAITH THE LORD." Then it's right.

E-36 Maintenant, je crois que tout ce qu’il vous faut au moment où vous recevez Christ... Prenez un petit arbre et plantez-le; la seule chose que vous avez à faire pour cet arbre, c’est de l’arroser. Et il faut qu’il boive. Il doit boire au-delà de sa mesure. Il doit boire jusqu’à ce qu’il gonfle, il fait sortir des feuilles, il fait sortir des branches, il donne des oranges, il donne encore des oranges. Il doit simplement boire, boire, boire, boire, pour les faire sortir.
| E-36 Now, I believe that everything that you have need of when you receive Christ... And Christ is the Word. "In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh and dwelled among us." God keeps His Word. Hope we get to it this week or next week one. God keeps His Word. He is duty bound to His Word. His Word can never fail. And I believe that when a Christian accepts God's Word, and the Word is made manifest to him by the Holy Spirit, everything you have need of in this world, is given to you right then.
I believe that when a man gets born again, God gives him a checkbook with Jesus' Name signed at the bottom of every check, and that check is good for every redemptive blessing that Jesus died for. If you're not afraid to fill it out and turn it in. And I believe that we are planted in Christ, not stuck out, but we're planted in Christ, and I...
You take a little tree and plant it; there's only one thing you have to do to that tree; that's water it. And it has got to drink. It's got to drink more than its portion. It's got to drink till it swells out. It pushes out leaves, pushes out branches, pushes out oranges, pushes out oranges again. It's has just got to drink, drink, drink, drink, and push out.

E-37 Et je crois que ce que l’Eglise, le chrétien doit faire, c’est simplement s’asseoir auprès de Jésus-Christ et de Sa Parole. | E-37 And I believe that's what the Church, the Christian's got to do, is just to set down by Jesus Christ and His Word. And I believe that He is the inexhaustible Fountain of Life that man can be planted in Him, and drink, and push, and drink, and push, till every Divine promise in the Bible will be made manifest to him. Amen. Every promise in the Book, everything is God's.
As I said the other night, crossing this world, preaching, I've found two classes of people: one the fundamentalist and the other the Pentecostals. The fundamentalist positionally knows where they stand, but they've never received the Holy Ghost, so they haven't got any faith of what they know. That's right. And the Pentecostals has received the Holy Ghost, but don't positionally know who they are. That's right.

E-38 C’est juste comme un homme qui a de l’argent en banque mais qui ne sait pas établir un chèque, tandis qu’un autre sait établir un chèque mais n’a pas d’argent en banque. Ensuite ce petit groupe de disciples est monté là-haut dans la chambre haute, et Dieu a tenu Sa Parole.
| E-38 It's just like a man that's got money in the bank and can't write a check. And the other one can write a check, but ain't got no money in the bank. If you could get them both together, you'd have it settled. Amen. If you could get Pentecostal faith in the fundamental church, or fundamental teaching in the Pentecostal church, you'd have it made. That's right. Then the great Church of God would stand to Its feet.
But you have the right, the God-given privilege to every Divine promise in the Book is yours. Yes, sir. I know that to be the truth by experience. God's in His Word. How we could say...
How Jesus said, "Tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until you're endued with power from on high. After this the Holy Ghost is come upon you, you'll be witness to Me in Jerusalem, Judaea, Samaria, uttermost parts of the earth." Luke 24:49. Then those little group of disciples went up there in the upper room, and God kept His Word.

E-39 Il avait dit à Israël qu’il séjournerait dans un pays étranger pendant quatre cents ans, qu’il sortirait par une grande puissance et par la main de Dieu. Lorsque quatre cents ans s’accomplirent, Dieu les fit sortir. Dieu a parlé à Moïse au pays d’Egypte; Il a dit: «Je vous ai donné la Palestine.»
Voilà une bonne leçon juste là pour une minute. La Parole de Dieu fut adressée à Moïse, disant: «La Palestine appartient aux enfants d’Israël.» Or, Dieu aurait pu aller là-bas et chasser tous ces Philistins et les autres, pour ensuite dire: «Viens, Moïse. Avance tout simplement et installe-toi là, ne t’inquiète de rien.» Mais Moïse, Josué et les Israélites ont dû combattre pour chaque centimètre de terrain qu’ils ont possédé.
Et chaque promesse du Livre vous appartient, mais Dieu ne vous la donnera jamais pendant que vous vous étendrez sur un lit d’aisance. Vous devrez combattre pour chaque centimètre que vous posséderez.
| E-39 He told Israel it'd sojourn in a strange land for four hundred years. He'd go out with a mighty power and by the hand of God. Four hundred years come, and God brought them out. God told Moses down in Egypt land; He said, "I have given you Palestine."
There's a good lesson right there for a minute. God's Word said to Moses, "Palestine belongs to the children of Israel." Now, God could have went up there and shooed everyone of them Philistines and so forth out, and then said, "Come on, Moses. Just come up and set down, take it easy." But Moses, Joshua, and the Israelites had to fight for every inch of ground they got.
And every promise in the Book is yours, but God will never give it to you, and you lay back on a bed of ease. You'll fight for every inch you get.

Dieu a fait la promesse. «Ô Dieu, Tu m’as dit que je poserai mon pied sur le sol, et voici la chose venir. Voici la chose venir. Oui, Seigneur, ça vient.» Continuez simplement jusqu’à ce que vous posiez votre pied sur le sol. C’est ça. Combattez pour chaque centimètre.
Ces choses vous ont été données. C’est ça le problème des Américains ce soir. Tout vous a été donné, vous êtes bien nourris, vous avez de l’embonpoint, vous êtes bien vêtus, et tout le reste. Vous n’avez besoin de rien, mais vous ne comprenez pas que vous êtes misérables, malheureux, aveugles.
| E-40 He told Joshua, "Every place the sole of your foot treads, that I have given you." Footprints meant--meant victory, and it's the same thing tonight. If you're paralyzed and can't wiggle a finger, say, "God, I want to wiggle a finger." That's right. "You promised me I could do it, and I'll lay there and wiggle till I do wiggle it." That's right. God made the promise. "God, You told me I could put my foot on the floor, and here it comes. Here it comes. Yes, Lord, it's a coming." Just keep on till you do put your foot on the floor. That's it. Fight for every inch.
Things is handed to you. That's what's the matter with the American people tonight. You've got everything handed to you, well fed, fattened, and clothed, and everything else. You don't have no need for nothing, but don't realize you're miserable, wretched, blind.

E-41 Ces pauvres païens là-bas qui n’ont pas de vêtements de rechange, lorsqu’ils viennent à la réunion, des dizaines des milliers complètements nus, qu’ils voient les oeuvres du Saint-Esprit, la Parole de Dieu rendue manifeste, ils La croiront de tout leur coeur et La recevront. Ils la reçoivent dans un terrain vierge. Ils la reçoivent dans leurs coeurs parce qu’ils La croient.
Mais, oh! la la! nous avons eu trop d’engrais de différentes sortes. Cela amène une réaction chimique. (Qu’ai-je dit?) C’est ça. Eh bien, cela ne fera pas pousser comme il faut la nourriture. Recevez simplement cela dans un terrain vierge. «Seigneur, je le débarrasse complètement de tout, et je vais simplement Te recevoir.» Mettez cela dans la Parole et voyez si la Parole ne sera pas rendue manifeste.
Croyez-vous que Dieu est dans Sa Parole, que Dieu tient Sa Parole? Certainement. Il fera exactement ce qu’Il vous a promis.
Maintenant, Dieu est dans Son univers. Le croyez-vous? Dieu est dans Sa Parole. Le croyez-vous? Très bien. Voyons si Dieu est dans Son Fils.
Eh bien, la Bible dit que Dieu était en Christ, réconciliant le monde avec Lui-même. Nous croyons cela. Nous croyons que Dieu était dans Son Fils, Jésus-Christ. Quelqu’un dit: «Oh! Il n’était qu’un prophète.» Non, Il n’était pas juste un Prophète. Il était Dieu. Absolument. Je crois que nous avons étudié cela hier soir, que nous savons que Dieu était dans Son Fils. Aucun homme ne peut accomplir les oeuvres qu’Il a accomplies. Aucun homme ne peut parler comme Lui, aucun homme. Lorsqu’Il était ici sur terre, Il était comme Dieu, Il agissait comme Dieu. Il prêchait comme Dieu. Il guérissait comme Dieu. Il est ressuscité des morts comme Dieu. Il a confirmé qu’Il était Dieu. C’est juste. Dieu était dans Son Fils.
| E-41 Them poor heathens over yonder that don't have a change of clothes, coming in the meeting, by the tens of thousands perfectly nude, let them see the works of the Holy Spirit, God's Word made manifest, they'll believe it with all their heart and accept it. They accept it in virgin soil. They accept it in the heart because they believe it.
But oh, my, we've had too much different types of fertilize. It sets up a chemical reaction. (What did I say?) That's right. Yes, it won't grow the food right. Just let it come in virgin soil. "Lord, I dump it all out, and I'll just take You." Put them in the Word and find out if the Word won't be made manifest.
You believe God is in His Word, God keeps His Word? Certainly He does. He will do just exactly what He promised you.
Now, God's in His universe. You believe it? God's in His Word? You believe it? All right let's see if God is in His Son.
Now, the Bible said that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself. We believe that. We believe that God was in His Son, Christ Jesus. Someone says, "Oh, He was just a prophet." No, He wasn't. He was God. Absolutely. I believe we went through that the other night, that we know that God was in His Son. No man could do the works that He did. No man can speak like Him, no man. When He was here on earth, He looked like God, He acted like God. He preached like God. He healed like God. He rose from the dead like God. He proved He was God. That's right. God was in His Son.

E-42 L’autre soir un gars a dit... c’était une femme qui ne croît pas, un groupe des gens qui ne croient pas qu’Il était un Enfant né d’une vierge. Je crois qu’Il était né d’une vierge, que le Saint-Esprit avait couvert Marie de Son ombre, et elle avait conçu du Saint-Esprit; en effet, le Créateur Dieu avait créé une cellule de sang dans le sein de cette femme et avait engendré le Fils Jésus-Christ, lequel était la Demeure, le Tabernacle du Dieu Tout-Puissant, et qu’Il était devenu Lui-même. Au commencement la Parole a été faite chair et a habité parmi nous. Et au commencement Il était la Parole, et la Parole a été faite chair et a habité parmi nous.
Cette dame m’a dit, ce n’est pas pour répéter ce qu’elle a dit, mais ça pourrait soutenir la chose. Cette dame m’a dit: «Si je peux vous prouver par la Parole de Dieu qu’Il n’était qu’un prophète...»
J’ai dit: «Si la Bible dit qu’Il n’était qu’un prophète.»
Elle a dit: «Dans Saint Jean au chapitre 11, la Bible dit que lorsqu’Il s’est rendu à la tombe de Lazare, Il a pleuré. Cela montrait qu’Il n’était pas Dieu. Il a pleuré.»
| E-42 A guy the other night said, a woman that don't believe, a group of people that doesn't believe that He was a virgin born child. I believe that He was virgin born, that the Holy Ghost overshadowed Mary, and she conceived by the Holy Spirit, that the Creator God created a blood cell in the woman's womb and brought forth the Son Christ Jesus which was the dwelling place, a tabernacle of Almighty God, that He came Hisself. The Word from the beginning was made flesh and dwelt among us. And He was in the beginning the Word, and the Word was flesh and dwelled among us.
This lady said to me, just not to repeat, but it would stand it. This lady said to me, "If I can prove to you by God's Word that He wasn't nothing but a prophet..."
I said, "If the Bible said He wasn't nothing but a prophet."
She said, "In Saint John the 11th chapter, the Bible said when He went down to the grave of Lazarus He wept. That showed He wasn't Divine. He wept."

E-43 J’ai dit: «Oui, Il a pleuré lorsqu’Il s’est rendu à la tombe de Lazare. C’est juste. Frère, Il était quelque part après quatre jours de voyage. Je ne sais pas, et vous non plus. Mais de toute façon, je sais que Jésus-Christ le connaissait par son nom et l’a ressuscité des morts.
Je crois que chaque homme qu’Il reconnaît comme le Sien, un jour Il criera des cieux, et la terre entière, et la mer rendront leurs morts et ces derniers se tiendront dans Sa Présence.
| E-43 I said, "Yes, He did weep when He went to the grave of Lazarus. That's right. But when He pulled them little stoop shoulders up, looked into the face of that grave, and said, 'Lazarus, come forth,' and a man that'd been dead four days, corruption knew its Master, the soul knew its Creator, and it give it up; and a man that'd been dead four days stood on his feet and lived again."
Brother, he was four day's journey somewhere. I don't know and neither do you. But anyhow I know that Jesus Christ knowed him by name and raised him from the dead.
I believe that every man that He knows, as His own, someday He will scream from the heavens and the whole earth, and the sea will give up their dead and stand in His Presence.

Quel genre d’atomes avait-Il libéré à ce moment-là, frère? Réfléchissez bien à cela, vous hommes de science. Ce n’était pas du poisson cru, c’était du poisson cuit.
Alléluia! Je pourrais tout aussi bien m’emballer. Vous allez me traiter de saint exalté de toute façon, alors je vais simplement... C’est juste. Oh! Il tient en main les atomes. Certainement.
Il tient tous les atomes, avec l’hydrogène, et tout le reste. Il en est le Créateur. Gloire à Dieu! Certainement. Oh! Il était un Homme. Il était fatigué. Certainement. Les gens L’avaient touché, et les visions qu’Il avait eues avaient fait que la vertu sorte de Lui.
Un soir Il était étendu là dans une petite barque, tellement fatigué que la mer en furie n’a même pas pu Le réveiller. J’imagine qu’environ dix mille démons de la mer ont dit: «Nous allons Le noyer ce soir. Nous jurons que nous allons Le noyer. Nous L’avons eu endormi.» Mais oh! la la! cette petite barque flottait çà et là comme un bouchon de liège là sur cette vaste mer, et le diable... les éclairs jaillissaient et à chaque vague le diable jubilait et riait. Il a dit: «Nous L’avons eu maintenant. Il dort.»
| E-44 He was a man when He was crying, but He was God when He raised the dead. That's right. He was a man when He come off the mountain hungry, looking around on the trees to find something to eat. He was a Man when He was hungry, but when He took five biscuits and two little fishes, and fed five thousand cooked, baked, roasted fish and bread, that was more than a Man. What kind of a atom did He turn loose then, brother? Think that out, scientist. It wasn't raw fish. It was cooked fish.
Hallelujah. I might as well turn loose. You're going to call me a holy-roller anyhow, so I just going... That's right. Oh, He holds the atoms in His hand. Sure He does.
He holds all the atoms, and the hydrogen, and everything else. He's a Creator of it. Glory to God. Certainly. Oh, He was a Man. He got tired. Sure. People touched Him, and His visions, and it made virtue go out of Him.
One night He was laying out there on a little old ship so tired, till the stormy sea didn't even wake Him up. I imagine about ten thousand devils of the sea said, "We'll drown Him tonight. We'll swear we'll drown Him. We got Him asleep." But oh, my. That little old ship bouncing around like a bottle stopper out there on that mighty sea, and the Devil... The lightning striking and he gleeing and laughing on every wave. He said, "We got Him now. He's asleep."

E-45 Oh! la la! Oui, Il était fatigué. Il était un Homme, mais lorsqu’Il a relevé Sa tête de l’oreiller, Il s’est avancé là, et Il a posé Son pied sur le bastingage de la barque et Il a levé les yeux et a dit: «Silence, tais-toi!» C’était plus qu’un homme (Alléluia!) lorsque les vents et les vagues Lui ont obéi.
Oh! il est vrai qu’à la croix lorsqu’on Lui a cloué Ses mains, Il s’est écrié: «Mon Dieu, Mon Dieu, pourquoi M’as-Tu abandonné?» Il est mort comme un homme. C’est juste. Mais le matin de Pâques, Il brisa le sceau romain. Il roula la pierre, et Il ressuscita des morts pour prouver qu’Il était Dieu. «J’ai le pouvoir de donner Ma Vie. J’ai le pouvoir de La reprendre. Personne ne Me L’ôte, mais Je La donne librement.» Gloire à Dieu!
| E-45 Oh, my. Yes, He was tired. He was a Man, but when He pulled the pillow out from under His head, walked out there, and stuck His foot on the brail of the boat, and looked up and said, "Peace be still," that was more than a Man (Hallelujah.) when the winds and the waves obeyed Him.
Oh, it's true at the cross when they nailed His hands, He screamed, "My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken Me?" He died like a man. That's right. But on Easter morning He broke the Roman seal. He rolled away the stone, and He raised from the dead to prove that He was God. "I have power to lay my life down. I have power to take it up again. No man takes it from Me, but I lay it down freely." Glory to God.

E-46 Non seulement cela, mais deux mille ans se sont écoulés, et Il est toujours vivant, ô Dieu! Certainement. Dieu était dans Son Fils. Croyez-vous cela? Certainement. Croyez-vous que Dieu est dans Son Univers? Croyez-vous que Dieu est dans Sa Parole, que Dieu est dans Son Fils? Maintenant, qu’en est-il de Dieu dans Son peuple? Nous allons Le faire descendre juste ici dans cet auditorium. Oui. Croyez-vous que Dieu habite dans des hommes? Assurément. «En ce jour-là vous connaîtrez que Je suis en vous, et vous en Moi, et Moi en vous.» Certainement.
J’ai donc regardé là-bas dans l’Ancien Testament juste un petit peu, juste pour quelques observations en terminant. Autrefois dans l’Ancien Testament nous voyons un homme du nom d’Elie, un grand homme, un serviteur de Dieu. Et nous voyons qu’une femme lui avait montré de la gentillesse en lui fabriquant un petit tabouret, elle lui avait fait construire une petite chambre, un endroit où il pouvait reposer ses pieds fatigués et se coucher sur le lit lorsqu’il irait à la montagne prier dans une caverne.
| E-46 Not only that but two thousand years has passed, and He is still alive, and God! Certainly. God was in His Son. You believe it? Sure He was. You believe God is in His universe? You believe God is in His Word, God is in His Son? Now, what about God in His people? We're going to bring Him right down here in the auditorium. Yes. Do you believe God dwells in men? Surely He does. "At that day you'll know that I am in you, and you in Me, and I in you." Certainly.
I looked back in the Old Testament now just a little bit, just for a few closing remarks. Back in the Old Testament we find a man by the name of Elijah, a great man, a servant of God. And we find that a woman showed him kindness by setting him a little stool, and making him a little room, and a place where he could rest his weary feet and lay down on the bed on his road up to the mountain where he went to a cave to pray.

E-47 Un jour qu’il passait par là et qu’il a vu ceci, il a dit: «Cette Sunamite a montré beaucoup d’empressement pour nous.» Il a dit à son serviteur, Guéhazi: «Va et demande-lui ce qu’elle désire que je fasse pour elle.» Il a dit: «Je peux voir le roi pour elle, et parler au chef de l’armée ou à quelqu’un d’autre.»
Elle a dit: «Non. J’habite au milieu de mon peuple. Je suis bien. Je l’ai simplement fait, ce n’était pas pour être récompensée.» C’est ce qu’il faut faire. Ne donnez pas si vous vous attendez à recevoir en retour. Rendez gloire à Dieu. Elle a dit: «Oh! c’est très bien.» Elle a dit: «J’habite au milieu de mon peuple et...»
Mais elle a dit à son mari: «Je vois que cet homme est un saint homme.» Eh bien, si elle l’a honoré, elle a honoré Dieu, parce que Dieu était dans Elie, et elle a reconnu, non pas l’homme, lui n’était qu’un homme, mais elle a reconnu que c’était Dieu dans l’homme.
| E-47 And one day passing through, and seeing this, he said, "This Shunammite woman has not been too slothful about us." Said to his servant, Gehazi, "Go, ask her what she would desire me to do." Said, "I'll see the king for her, speak to the chief captain or someone."
She said, "No. I'm just dwell among my people. I'm all right. I just did it, not to be rewarded." That's the way to do it. Don't give if you're expecting to receive back. Give to the glory of God. Said, "Oh, that's all right." Said, "I just dwell among my people and..."
But she said to her husband, "I perceive that this is a holy man." Now, if she honored him, she'd be honoring God, 'cause God was in Elijah, and she recognized, not the man, he was just a man; but it was God in the man she recognized.

E-48 Alors, un jour elle a reçu une bénédiction, elle a embrassé un petit garçon. Elle était vieille, et son mari était vieux, mais elle a eu un petit garçon. Et lorsque celui-ci avait environ douze ans, il était parti au champ avec son papa. Et je crois qu’il a dû attraper un coup de soleil. Je crois qu’il avait crié vers le milieu de la journée: «Ma tête! Ma tête!»
Et son père a dit: «Amène-le chez sa maman.»
Elle l’a posé sur ses genoux à lui–sur ses genoux à elle plutôt, jusqu’à l’heure du dîner, puis il est mort. J’aimerais que vous remarquiez la sagesse de cette femme qui avait reconnu que Dieu se trouvait dans un homme. Elle a carrément amené l’enfant jusque dans la chambre du prophète et elle l’a couché sur le lit du prophète, pas sur son propre lit gigogne, pas sur le lit de papa, ni sur celui de maman, mais elle l’a couché sur le lit du prophète. Vous vous demandez pourquoi? Vous vous demandez pourquoi? Et elle a dit au serviteur: «Scelle une mule. Et ne t’arrête pas sans que je te le dise. J’aimerais que tu chevauches aussi vite que possible jusqu’au mont Carmel.»
Son mari a dit, essayant de la décourager, il a dit: «Non, le prophète n’y est pas.»
| E-48 So one day she was given a blessing, and she embraced a little son. She was old, and her husband was old; and she had a little son. And about time he was about twelve years old, he was out with his papa out in the field. And I believe he must've had a sunstroke. He believe to cry about the middle of the day, "My head. My head."
And his father said, "Take him in to his mama."
She set him on his lap--on her lap, rather, until dinner and he died. I want you to notice the wisdom of this woman that recognized where God was at in a man. She took him right to the prophet's room and laid him on the prophet's bed, not in his own little trundle bed, not in his own daddy's bed, or his mama's bed, but she laid him on the prophet's bed. Wonder why? Wonder why? And she said to the servant, "Saddle a mule. And don't you stop 'less I tell you to. And I want you to ride as hard as you can to Mount Carmel."
Her husband said, trying to discourage her, said, "No, the prophet's not there."

E-49 Mais elle était quand même décidée à comprendre. Alors elle est partie, et lorsqu’elle est arrivée là... Vous savez, Dieu ne révèle toujours pas tout à Ses prophètes. Alors Elie, la voyant venir, a dit: «Voici venir cette Sunamite.» Et il a dit: «Son coeur est plein de tristesse, et Dieu ne me l’a pas révélé.» Et il a dit: «Va, demande-lui si tout va bien.»
Il a dit: «Te portes-tu bien? Ton mari se porte-t-il bien? Ton enfant se prote-t-il bien?» Maintenant, voici la partie que j’aime.
Elle a dit: «Tout va bien.» Oh! qu’était-ce? Qu’est-ce que cette femme avait reconnu? Que Dieu était dans ce prophète. C’est tout à fait exact. Il savait qu’elle pouvait... Je ne crois pas qu’elle pensait retrouver son fils, mais elle voulait que Dieu, qui le lui avait donné, lui dise pourquoi Il l’avait repris.
| E-49 But she was determined to find out anyhow. So she took off and when she got over there... You know God don't always reveal to His prophets everything. So Elijah saw her coming, said, "Here comes that Shunammite," and said, "Her heart's full of sadness and God has not revealed to me." And said, "Go, ask her if everything's all right."
He said, "Is it all right with thee? Is it all right with thy husband? Is it all right with the child?" Now, here's the part I love.
She said, "Everything's all right." Oh, what was it? What did that woman recognize? That God was in that prophet. That's exactly right. He knew she might... I don't guess she thought she'd get her son back, but she would find out from God Who gave him, why He taken him.

E-50 Et elle était en présence du représentant de Dieu, et elle savait que Dieu était dans ce prophète. Et ensuite, lorsqu’elle est arrivée et qu’elle a révélé cela, Elie a dit à Guéhazi: «Prends ce bâton, et va poser cela sur l’enfant.» Je crois que c’est là que Paul a tiré l’idée d’envoyer des mouchoirs qui avaient touché son corps. Elie savait que tout ce qu’il touchait était béni, parce que Dieu était en lui. Voyez-vous? Dieu était dans un homme, et ce dernier a dit: «Maintenant, prends cela et pose-le sur l’enfant.»
Mais cette femme n’avait pas foi dans le bâton. Elle avait foi dans le prophète. Elle a dit: «Je vais rester juste ici jusqu’à ce que quelque chose arrive.» J’aime ce genre de foi.
Ainsi donc, après un instant Elie est parti, il n’avait pas encore reçu de vision, il est entré dans la chambre, et lorsqu’il est arrivé là, il y avait des lamentations, des pleurs, et tout le monde continuait de plus belle. Alors que le petit garçon mort était couché là sur le–sur son lit depuis plusieurs heures, Elie est entré et a fermé la porte, il s’est séparé de toute l’incrédulité, de l’extérieur. Il a fait les cent pas dans la chambre (J’aime cela.), il a fait les cent pas jusqu’à ce qu’il a senti la Vie plus abondante venir sur lui, le genre de Vie dont j’ai parlé et qui permet à l’aigle de s’envoler.
Il a senti l’abondance du Saint-Esprit venir sur lui, et il a posé son visage sur le visage de l’enfant, ses lèvres sur les lèvres de l’enfant, son nez sur le nez de l’enfant, ses mains sur les mains de l’enfant, et l’enfant a éternué sept fois et est revenu à la vie. Gloire! Dieu est dans Son peuple. Croyez-vous cela?
| E-50 And she was in the presence of God's representative, and she knowed God was in the prophet. And then when she come up and revealed it, Elijah said, "Take this staff," to Gehazi, "and go lay it on the child." I believe that's where Paul got taking handkerchiefs from his body. Elijah knew that everything that he touched was blessed, because God was in him. See it? God was in a man, and he said, "Now, you take it and lay it on the child."
But the woman's faith wasn't in that. Her faith was in the prophet. She said, "I'm going to stay right here till something happens." I like that kind of faith.
So then after while away went Elijah, no vision yet, walked into the room, and when he got there, there was the wailing, and screaming, and everybody going on. The little dead boy many hours laying in there on the--on his bed, Elijah went in and closed the door and get away from all the unbelief from the outside. And he walked to and fro in the room (I like that.), walked to and fro until he felt the more abundant Life come on him, the kind the eagle I was talking about could fly away with.
He felt the abundance of the Holy Spirit come on him, and he laid his face against the baby's face, his lips against the baby's lips, his nose against the baby's nose, his hands against the baby's hands, and the baby sneezed seven times and come to life. Glory. God's in His people. Do you believe it?

E-51 Eh bien, plusieurs années après sa mort, ses os blanchis gisaient là, on a déposé un mort sur lui, et Dieu était toujours dans ces os. Alléluia! Je suis sûr que vous pensez que je suis fou. Je le suis peut-être. Laissez-moi simplement tranquille. Je me sens mieux dans cet état. C’est exact. Je me sens très religieux ce soir, de toute façon.
Oh! la la! Dieu dans Son peuple! Bon, bon, vous êtes des fils de Dieu. [Espace vide sur la bande–N.D.E.] Vous êtes maintenant même des fils de Dieu. Vous vivez simplement en dessous de vos privilèges. Dieu est dans Son peuple.
Je vois un vieux pêcheur qui ne savait même pas écrire son propre nom. On l’appelait Pierre. C’était un apôtre, et les gens ont reconnu que Dieu était dans cet homme au point qu’on déposait les malades à son ombre, et les malades étaient guéris. Alléluia! Dieu est dans Son peuple. Croyez-vous cela?
Je peux voir Paul, on retirait de son corps des linges et des mouchoirs, et on les appliquait là. Ils avaient reconnu et avaient vu l’Esprit de Dieu en Paul, et ils imposaient cela sur les malades, et ces derniers étaient guéris. Dieu est dans Son peuple.
| E-51 Well, after he'd been dead for many years, and his bleached bones was laying out there, they laid a dead man on him, and God was still in the bones. Hallelujah. I know you think I'm crazy. Maybe I am. Just let me alone. I feel better this a way. That's right. I feel very religious tonight somehow.
Oh, my. God in His people now, now, you are the sons of God. [Blank.spot.on.tape--Ed.] You are right now the sons of God. You're just living under your privilege. God's in His people.
I see an old fisherman, that didn't even know how to write his own name. They called him Peter. He was an apostle, and the people recognized God in that man till they laid the sick in his shadow, and they were healed. Hallelujah. God's in His people. Do you believe it?
I can see Paul taking from his body handkerchiefs and aprons off of him, set it out there. They recognized and seen the Spirit of God in Paul, and they laid it on the sick, and they were healed. God's in His people.

Peter said, "Repent, everyone of you, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to them that's far off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call." God's in His people.

«Encore un peu de temps, et le monde ne Me verra plus; mais vous, vous me verrez, car Je serai avec vous.» Il a dit: «Comme le Père M’a envoyé, Moi aussi Je vous envoie.» Le Père qui L’avait envoyé est venu en Lui, et est allé avec Lui, et Il est resté avec Lui; Il est resté avec Lui dans la mort, Il est resté avec Lui dans la résurrection. | E-53 Night after night when we come here, and see the great transformation of the Holy Ghost move right down into this building, and know the very secrets of the heart, make cross-eyes come straight, make blind see, deaf hear, lame walk, cancers vanish, and those doctors say, "They don't know what happened." Oh, God's in His people. Do you believe it?
I believe right now this little bunch, when I come in here a few minutes ago, was setting here solemn looking around, saying nothing, and right now your faces are lit up. Some of you has got tears in your eyes. Some of you are smiling all the way across your face. Something is going through your heart. What is it? It's the Holy Ghost feeding on the Word of the living God. It's God in His people. You believe that He's here? I believe He's here just in as much power as He ever was in anywhere in the world. Oh.
"Yet a little while and the world sees Me no more. Yet you'll see Me, for I'll be with you." He said, "As the Father has sent Me, so send I you." The Father that sent Him, come in Him, and went with Him, and stayed with Him: stayed with Him in death, stayed with Him in the resurrection. And as the Father sent Him and went with Him, He's sending us, and going with us, and performing the works of Christ as Christ performed the works of God, going with us through death, and raise us up at the last day. God's in His people.

Into the streets they'll go throwing their money and screaming, but He said, "It's cankered and it'll eat you now."
Oh, to neglect God now, He said, "I'll mock at you in your calamities." O Father God, may men and women wake up to that realization tonight, that the preaching of the Gospel is foolishness to them that perish, but It's Eternal Life to them who believe on the preaching of the Word.

Oh, He's so wonderful. The prophet tried to name it. He said, "He is a Counselor, the Prince of Peace, the Mighty God, the everlasting Father." And he couldn't think of enough names to call Him. He said, "He's wonderful, just wonderful." He's a wonderful Counselor, the wonderful Prince of Peace. Everything He is, He's wonderful. And tonight to we poor Gentiles at the end of the age, He's a wonderful resurrected Christ.

Now, tonight I want you to promise God... Yes, sure. If you made your decision for Christ, Christ accepted it. Oh, certainly He did, but tomorrow, or tonight, rather, when the service is over, I want to go right into praying for the sick, 'cause I know you've got Sunday school service in the morning. I don't want to keep you too long, but I want to ask you something. Will you come up around here at the altar call when the brethren make it? Come up here and just thank God; say, "God, I thank You." You don't realize what a great thing it is. You don't know what you've done. You don't know who you are, and as long as the Devil can make you believe that, "Oh, that was just... Oh, well..." Oh, as long as you believe that, then your hand raising was no good. But if you believe that you accepted Christ and in your heart you feel that you've--you've got Eternal Life, God will honor that. Stay with it, and God will make it real to you. Certainly.

It's best for somebody else to tell it. But I want you to know this, my brethren, that Christ lives tonight, and He's just the same as He was then. Hebrews 13:8 declares that He's the same yesterday, today, and forever. And He... And if He is the same, He's got to do the same works. And if He will come here tonight...

E-61 Maintenant, souvenez-vous. J’ai déclaré clairement que je ne suis pas un guérisseur et que je n’ai rien à faire avec cela. Aucun homme n’est un guérisseur. Dieu et Dieu seul est le Guérisseur. Combien savent cela? Combien savent qu’il n’y a rien dans ma main ni dans la main de qui que ce soit d’autre qui puisse avoir quelque chose à faire avec votre guérison? Combien savent cela? Rien du tout. Combien savent que la guérison est une oeuvre achevée, une oeuvre que Dieu a déjà accomplie? C’est ça. Nous acceptons cela par la foi.
Combien savent que personne ne peut pardonner vos péchés, sinon Dieu seul? C’est vrai. Peu importe combien de fois vous les confessez à un prêtre, ou à un prédicateur, ou à qui que ce soit, à papa, à maman, cela ne vous fera aucun bien à moins que vous les confessiez à Dieu, et que vous croyiez que Christ vous pardonne, et que vous L’acceptiez comme votre Sauveur personnel. Vous pourriez hurler, crier, sautiller, donner des coups à l’autel, courir sur le plancher, jusqu’à ce que vous deveniez vieux et que vous ayez des cheveux gris, vous ne serez jamais pardonné à moins que vous acceptiez solennellement l’offre de Christ. Vous devez remplir Ses conditions.
| E-61 Now, remember. I make this statement clear that I am not a healer and have nothing to do with it. No other man is a healer. Only God alone is a Healer. How many knows that? How many knows that there's nothing in my hand, or any other man's hand, that can have anything to do with your healing? How many knows that? Not a thing. How many knows that healing is a finished work that God has already done? That's right. By faith we accept it.
How many knows that no one could forgive your sins but God alone? That's true. No matter how much you'd confess them to a priest, or a preacher, to whatever it might be, papa, mama, that'll never do no good until you confess them to God, and believe that Christ forgives you, and accept Him as your personal Saviour. You could scream, cry, jump up-and-down, beat the altar, run through the floor, till you got old and gray headed. You'd never be forgiven until you solemnly accept Christ's offer. You got to come on His terms.

| E-62 That's the same way it is by Divine healing. You've got to come on His terms by faith. First it's by the Word: "Faith cometh by hearing, hearing the Word." Then the spiritual gift that's set in the Church to manifest the Presence of Christ. And if they're a true gift they will manifest the Presence of Christ. And then that makes Him the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Et il attendait dans le hall pendant que le médecin la consultait. Et il a découvert un kyste au sein ou quelque chose de ce genre.
Elle a dit: «C’est vrai.»

I said, "Then the woman who was at the well, He reveal to her just her secret place of her sins, told her what her need was?" I said, "If He would do that same thing to you, you know we don't know each other, would you believe it?"
"Yes." She put up her hand. Just about that time what was I doing? Contacting her spirit. There when it was told to her that her husband had taken her to a doctor, or Indian doctor that had a black mustache and wearing a gray suit, told her he went two or three days before that whenever it was. And he waited in the hall while the doctor examined. And he found a cyst on the breast or something like that.
She said, "That's true."
And I said, "Well, why did you come to me? If you're a Mohammedan why did you come to me as a Christian?"
Said, "I'd..." She said through the interpreter; she believed I could help her.
And when God did that I said, "Now, do you accept Christ as your personal Saviour?"

Il y avait là un médecin anglais, et il voulait dire qu’il savait que Dieu était dans ces grands lys, dans ces énormes lys qui poussaient dans la nature. Il a dit: «Dieu était dans les lys, il n’arrivait pas à comprendre comment Dieu pouvait être là à faire quelque chose, alors il s’imaginait que j’avais de la télépathie.»
Et j’ai dit: «Ecoutez, monsieur. Ceci n’est pas de la télépathie. C’est la puissance de la résurrection de Christ.» Et ce petit garçon se tenait là. Son petit ventre était taché de sang provenant de sa nourriture qui était à base de sang, je l’ai regardé. J’ai dit: «C’est un Zoulou.» Et sa mère, j’ai vu lorsqu’elle présentait le petit garçon à son père à sa naissance, il louchait à sa naissance. Là très loin, à une distance d’environ trois fois la longueur de cette salle, un couple s’est levé là, c’étaient le père et la mère de l’enfant en question. C’était juste. J’ai dit: «Je ne peux pas le guérir.» Je n’avais certainement rien pour le guérir. Lorsque j’ai regardé derrière, ses petits yeux étaient aussi droits que les miens. J’ai dit: «Le voici. Je ne l’ai pas du tout touché, et il est guéri.» C’est juste.
| E-64 She raised her hand, and condemned Mohammedanism, and accepted Christ. And ten thousand Mohammedans accepted Christ right there on the grounds. That's right. And at the end when others come, and when they seen the marvelous works of God... A little old boy standing there, He had told him, said, "You were born in a Christian home."
"Yes." I couldn't help him. He... The little boy cross-eyed. His little old eyes just as crossed as they could be, he was standing as far as the end of that platform.
There'd been a British doctor there, and he wanted to say that he knowed God was in them big lilies, great big calla lilies growed wild. He said, "God was in the lilies, but he couldn't understand how that God could be there to do anything, so he could imagine that I had a telepathy."
And I said, "Look, sir. This is not a telepathy. It is the power of the resurrection of Christ." And that little boy standing there, his little belly bloody from eating his little blood diet, I looked at him. I said, "He is a Zulu." And his mother, I seen when she showed him to the father, when he was born he was cross-eyed when he was born. Way back out, three times the distance of this almost, a couple stood up, there was the father and mother of the child. That was right. I said, "I couldn't heal him," certainly had nothing to heal him with. When I looked back and his little eyes was just as straight as mine. I said, "There he is. I never touched him, and he's healed." That's right.

Et j’ai dit: «Vous n’êtes pas gravement malade. Vous avez simplement tel problème.»
Elle a dit: «C’est juste.»

I don't say it because prayer could change that again, but this day the reason I said it, I seen the funeral procession of the woman. It was a past tense then. I said, "Lady, you're not very sick." Told her what was wrong with her. She was a Boer, white woman. And I said, "You're not very sick. You just have a "certain-certain."
Said, "That's right."

Et si cette grande et belle église que j’ai soutenue, et étant un baptiste je me suis tenu au milieu de l’église, et j’ai fait de mon mieux pour établir l’unité et pour démolir ces barrières dénominationnelles et pour faire de nous des frères dans un seul grand front en vue d’aller de l’avant pour Christ... J’ai fait de mon mieux. Mais j’ai confié cela à Dieu. Je suis au bout du chemin. J’ai prêché du mieux que j’ai pu.
| E-68 But I said, "You prepare for death, for you're not going to live but just a little bit." And she walked off the platform, walked out in the audience, and dropped dead. That's right. If I could've healed her, I'd have done it, but I can only say what I see. That's right. And now, I seen that procession going on, and that's the reason I pronounced it. A lot of times I see it turn dark under the people; I'll say, "Well, go, and may the Lord bless you," or something like that, because prayer could change it. You see?
We had time to go into it would be different, but I'm searching, brethren. I've got something in my heart. I know that the Pentecostal church is gone haywire on some things. And I started from New York and to the west coast to do my best to try to shake it out if I possibly can. And if that great, lovely church that I've stood up for, and being a Baptist has stood between the church, and tried my best to bridge that thing, and tear down them denominational barriers, and make us brothers in one great front to go forth for Christ... I've done my very best. But I've put it to God. I am at the end of the road. I've preached just as hard as I could.

I seen around two hundred ministers or better, walk down to the altar, and shake one another's hands, and cry over one another's shoulders, and say they'd never fuss or be different with one another again. Let that great Church of God take that attitude tonight, and I'll show you a revival that'll ought to sweep this nation and tear down every nest of hell there is. Brother, we can preach till we're hoarse and our lungs fall out, until the people make a move, you'll never do nothing. That's right. You've got to make them move and believe it. Brethren, do it tonight. Do it tonight. Stand up for the Word. Stand for the living Word of the living God. God will manifest it. Amen.

E-72 Chaque–chaque patient, c’est–c’est vous tous, mes amis. Ce n’est pas moi. Il s’agit de vous. Moi, je me tiens simplement ici et je m’abandonne. Et peu importe combien ce don est grand, cela ne marchera jamais à moins que vous le fassiez vous-même opérer. J’ai observé les gens lorsqu’ils viennent sur l’estrade, et dès qu’ils sont vraiment spirituels, ils saisissent la manifestation de cet Ange oint, pendant qu’Il se tient là. C’est simplement le Logos, le Fils de Dieu. Dès qu’ils sont sous l’onction, ils comprennent cela. Observez l’Esprit se mettre à l’oeuvre à ce moment-là. Observez ce qui arrive. Vous les entendez alors témoigner dès ce moment-là pendant des années: «C’est complètement terminé. C’est complètement fini.»
| E-72 Every--every patient, it's--it's you all, friends. It's not me. You're the one. I'm just here yielding myself. And no matter how great this gift would be, it'll never work unless you work it yourself. Jesus came into a city. They said, "Now, we heard He done great works over yonder. Let's see Him do it over here."
And Jesus marveled at their unbelief, "And many mighty works He could not do..." Is that right? That was Son of God. Many works He could not do because of their unbelief. It's your faith in a finished work.
Like I tell the woman. I've watched them walk to the platform, and as soon as they're real spiritual catch that expression of that anointed Angel, when He's standing over. It just the Logos, the Son of God. Immediately they are under the anointing; they realize it. Watch the Spirit go to work then. Watch what happens. Then you hear them years from then testifying, "It's all gone. It's all over."

Now, you without prayer cards, I want you to believe. I want you to accept the Lord Jesus as your Healer. I want you to look this a way, and I want you to believe it with all that is within you. I want you to believe, and may He grant the blessings that you're asking for, is my sincere prayer.
Now, just be reverent. We're in the Presence of God. And please for the next few minutes, don't walk around. Just--just let me stay ten minutes, will you? If you'll just set still that long, maybe God will do something that will confirm it. If He will do it to this one woman, it ought to settle the whole thing. How many believes that?

E-74 Lorsque Moïse s’est présenté devant Israël pour accomplir un signe, chaque fois qu’il rencontrait un Israélite, il disait...?... Ecoutez. «Regarde ce que je peux faire de ma main, je la guéris de la lèpre.» Voyez? Ensuite «Viens ici, Israélite. J’aimerais te montrer que je peux faire cette même chose.» Voyez-vous? Il n’a pas fait cela. Il avait fait la chose une fois et le problème était réglé. Voyez? Si la chose est ainsi, c’est que c’est ça.
Si l’assistance regarde maintenant, croit... Cette femme est couverte de l’ombre de la mort. C’est exact. Il y a une ombre noire qui est suspendue au-dessus de cette femme, ce qui signifie que la mort est en train de la suivre. Cela ne durera pas très longtemps; elle ne vivra pas longtemps ici sur cette terre à moins que Dieu la secoure. Cette femme est extrêmement nerveuse. Elle souffre des troubles cardiaques, et en plus elle a le cancer, et ce cancer se trouve dans l’utérus. C’est l’exacte vérité. C’est juste, levez la main.

I want to show you I can do this same thing." See? He didn't do that. He did it once and that settled it. See? If it's so, it's so.
If the audience now looking, believing... The woman is shadowed with death. Exactly. There's a black shadow hanging to the woman which means it's following her. It won't be very long; she won't be here on earth unless she gets help from God. The woman is extremely nervous. She's suffering with a heart condition, and another thing she has a cancer, and the cancer is in the womb. That's exactly the truth. That's right, raise up your hand.

Adorable Père céleste, j’impose les mains à cette femme qui est mourante; en tant que serviteur de Dieu, je Te prie de tout mon coeur de guérir cette pauvre femme, et de lui accorder de se rétablir. Je la bénis au Nom de Christ. Amen. Que Dieu vous bénisse, soeur. Partez, croyez maintenant de tout votre coeur. Très bien.

But she didn't; she said, "Lord, if You'd been here, my brother had not died. But even now, whatever You ask God, God will do it." And God rewarded her.
You believe now that--that God has done this for you so that you can be made well? You believe it, lady? Come here and let me pray with you.
Blessed heavenly Father, I lay hands on this dying woman, as the servant of God, I ask with all my heart that You'll heal this poor woman, and let her get well. I bless her in Christ's Name. Amen. God bless you, sister. Go, believe now with all your heart. All right.
