E-1 Merci. Restez debout juste un instant maintenant pour la prière. Dieu bien-aimé, nous nous sommes assemblés ici, ce soir, dans aucun autre but que celui de Te connaître et connaître Ta bonté envers les enfants des hommes. Et nous Te demandons de nous visiter ce soir, avec une grande effusion de Ta Présence. Accorde-nous, Seigneur, le désir de notre coeur affamé, car c’est vraiment... c’est ce dont nous avons faim: Le connaître. Et Le connaître, c’est la Vie. Et, oh! qu’y a-t-il de plus important ce soir que la Vie? Ainsi, nous Te demandons de nous accorder la Vie en abondance ce soir.
| E-1 Thank you. And remain standing just a moment now for prayer. Dear God, we have assembled here, tonight, for no other purpose but to learn of Thee and of Thy goodness to the children of man. And we would ask You to visit us tonight, with a great outpouring of Thy Presence. And give unto us, Lord, the desire of our hungry heart, for it's truly--that's what we hunger for, is to know Him. And to know Him is Life. And oh, what is greater tonight, than Life? So we would ask You to give us the abundance of Life tonight.

E-2 Et, entre-temps, Seigneur, s’il y en a ici qui ne Te connaissent pas et qui n’ont pas encore reçu la Vie Eternelle, puisse ceci être la soirée où ils diront cet unique «oui» éternel au Dieu Tout-Puissant.
Nous Te demandons aussi, Seigneur, de ne pas oublier les malades, les affligés ainsi que les nécessiteux: les muets, les aveugles, les sourds, et ceux–ceux qui sont rongés par le cancer et par toutes sortes de maladies. Tu es absolument le même aujourd’hui que Tu l’étais hier, et Tu seras éternellement le même. Aide-nous donc ce soir à savourer cette pleine communion de la Présence du Fils de Dieu. Car nous le demandons en Son Nom. Amen. Que le Seigneur vous bénisse. Et vous pouvez vous asseoir.

We would ask You also, Lord, to not forget those who are sick and afflicted and so needy: the dumb, and the blind, and the deaf, and the--the cancer-ridden, and all manner of sickness. Thou art just the same today as You was yesterday, and shall forever be the same. So help us tonight, to enjoy this full fellowship of the Presence of the Son of God. For we ask it in His Name. Amen. E-3 [Quelqu’un parle à frère Branham.–N.D.E.] Oui, c’est...?...
Je considère ceci comme un grand privilège ce soir d’être de retour ici dans cette grande ville de New York, au service du Seigneur Dieu. Ça fait un temps depuis que j’ai eu ce grand privilège. Et généralement, nous venons quand nous sommes en route vers outre-mer. Ce soir, c’est une exception; nous allons juste quitter demain pour la ville voisine. Et nous espérons que Dieu nous rencontrera aussi là-bas.
Il y a quelque temps, notre cher ami, frère Sweet, m’a demandé, quand j’étais là à Brooklyn, si j’aimerais visiter la ville ou les Etats de la région de la Nouvelle-Angleterre, car cela lui tenait à coeur. Il pensait que les Etats de la Nouvelle-Angleterre avaient été beaucoup négligés en ce qui concerne ce genre de réunions, telles que les réunions de la guérison divine et la prière pour les malades.
Et c’est toujours un privilège d’avoir l’occasion de servir ceux qui sont négligés. Nous irons donc dans tous les Etats de la Nouvelle-Angleterre, dans les trente prochains jours, trente jours pleins de service. Je pense qu’il y a deux jours, ou peut-être trois, pendant lesquels je ne prêcherai pas. Puis, nous retournerons à Dallas, au Texas. Et ensuite, nous irons à la Communauté Internationale de l’Association des Ministres Indépendants à Greeneville, en Caroline du Sud. Et puis, nous retournerons de nouveau dans les Etats de la Nouvelle-Angleterre pour la Convention Internationale des Hommes d’Affaires du Plein Evangile.
Et puis, de là, nous irons à Durban, en Afrique du Sud. Peut-être que nous irons encore en Allemagne et à d’autres endroits selon que nous pourrons nous organiser.
| E-3 [Someone speaks to Brother Branham--Ed.] Yes, it is...?...
I deem this a great privilege tonight, to be back here in this great city of New York, in the service of the Lord God. It's been some time since I've had this great privilege. And usually when we come, we are on our road overseas. But tonight we're just leaving tomorrow for the neighboring city. And we are trusting that God will meet with us over there also.
Sometime ago, I was asked by our dear friend, Brother Sweet, when I was over in Brooklyn, if I would visit the city or the New England states, for it was on his heart that, believing that the New England states had been greatly neglected in these type of meetings, as such as the meetings of Divine healing, and praying for the sick.
And it's always a privilege to get to serve those who are neglected. And we're going now, all through the New England states, this coming thirty days, a full thirty days of service. I believe there's two days or maybe three, that I will not be preaching.
Then we return back to Dallas, Texas. And then over to the International Fellowship of the Independent Ministerial Association in Greeneville, South Carolina. And then back up to the New England states again for the Full Gospel Businessmen's International Convention.
And then from there we go to Durban, South Africa. Perhaps, back to Germany and some of the other places as we can get staged.

E-4 On a donc pris trop de temps ce soir, comme c’est la première soirée. Il y a toujours bien de petits divers qu’on n’arrive pas à aborder très rapidement. Ainsi, on commence donc généralement tard.
Mais je suis sûr que le Seigneur nous bénira si seulement nous ne sommes pas tendus. Juste... Nous voulons bien penser que peut-être ce sera pour nous, ce soir, une opportunité de recevoir cette grande bénédiction que nous avons tant attendue depuis si longtemps. Je suis sûr que chaque coeur affamé ici présent désire quelque chose de la part de notre Seigneur. Et Il est vraiment bienveillant pour venir accomplir cela pour nous ce soir. Et nous L’aimons pour cela, et nous sommes... ici, moi-même, dans une grande attente de voir Dieu accomplir quelque chose pour nous ce soir.
Et je ne vous prêcherai pas très longtemps. J’aimerais bien lire une portion de Sa Parole. J’aime Sa Parole. Je suis sûr que vous aussi.
| E-4 So, they have taken much time tonight, because of being the first night. There's always just a little miscellaneous that they can't get to right quick. So, it's usually late then, when we get started.
But I'm sure the Lord will bless us if we just don't be nervous. Just--we want to think that maybe it will be our time tonight, to receive that great blessing that we've looked forward to for so long. I'm sure that every hungry heart here, is desiring something from our Lord. And He's just good to come and do it for us tonight. And we love Him for that, and we're--here, myself, under great expectations for God to do something for us tonight.
And I won't speak to you very long. I just wish to read some of His Word. I love His Word. I'm sure you do too.

E-5 Eh bien, ce lieu, je pense, sert à beaucoup d’activités ici dans cette grande ville. Peut-être que cela a pu être utilisé pour des danses et que sais-je encore. Mais ce soir, nous avons consacré ce lieu à un seul but: c’est pour servir de lieu de réunion pour les enfants de Dieu. L’église est donc dans cette salle. L’église n’est pas de toute façon un bâtiment, c’est un peuple, les appelés à sortir. Le mot église signifie les appelés à sortir. Et nous sommes donc le peuple de Dieu, par la grâce de Dieu, les appelés à sortir, ce soir; nous nous sommes assemblés en ce lieu.
Ainsi, j’aimerais lire dans Saint Jean, chapitre 12, verset 20, juste une petite portion de l’Ecriture. Deux versets.
Quelques Grecs, du nombre de ceux qui étaient montés pour adorer pendant la fête,
S’adressèrent à Philippe, de Bethsaïda en Galilée, et lui dirent avec instance: Seigneur, nous voudrions voir Jésus.
Et dans Hébreux, chapitre 13, verset 8, il est dit: Jésus-Christ est le même hier, aujourd’hui et éternellement.
| E-5 Now, this place, I suppose, is used for many things here in this great city. It could, perhaps, be used for dances and whatmore, but tonight we have dedicated this place for one purpose: that's for the meeting place of the children of God.
Then the church is in this building. The church is not a building anyhow, it's a people, a called out. The word "church," means "called out." And so, we are the people of God, by the grace of God, the called out, tonight, that's assembled ourselves together in this place.
So I wish to read from Saint John the 12th chapter, the 20th verse, just a little portion of the Scripture. Two verses.
And there were certain Greeks among them, which came up to the worship at the feast.
The same came therefore to Philip which was of Bethesda, of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus.
And in Hebrews the 13th chapter, the 8th verse, it says,
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday... to day, and forever.

E-6 Ceci est un passage des Ecritures un peu inhabituel pour un–un service d’évangélisation, cependant, c’est une portion de la Parole éternelle et sacrée de Dieu. Et cela s’accorde bien avec tout le reste de la Parole de Dieu. Il n’y a pas d’Ecriture qui ne s’emboîte pas avec une autre Ecriture. Jésus a dit: «Les Ecritures ne peuvent pas être anéanties.» Donc, inhabituel, car C’est une Parole qui a été écrite il y a quelques... au premier siècle; et on est au vingtième siècle, cela pourrait certainement sembler inhabituel. Pour commencer, Jésus est inhabituel; en effet, Il est inhabituel aux yeux du monde, mais pas aux Siens. Ses actes et les choses qu’Il accomplit demeurent toujours, car Il est Dieu.
| E-6 This is rather an unusual Scripture reading for a--a Gospel meeting, yet, it is part of God's eternal, sacred Word. And it just coincides with all the rest of the Word of God. There's no Scripture but what links itself together with Scripture. Jesus said, "The Scripture cannot be broken." Therefore, unusual, because it is a Word that was written some--in the first century, and this being the 20th century, it would certainly seem unusual.
Jesus is unusual to begin with, because He is unusual to the world, but not to His own. His acts and the things that He does ever remains, because He is God.

E-7 Or, cette Ecriture de ce soir enseigne que Jésus-Christ est le même hier, aujourd’hui et éternellement. Je me demande si nous croyons cela de tout notre coeur. Ça doit être vrai. Si ce n’est pas vrai, alors aucune autre Ecriture n’est vraie, car Elles ne peuvent pas être anéanties, et Ce sont les Paroles du Dieu Eternel.
Et ces Grecs affamés qui étaient venus poser la question à Philippe, je pense que leur désir n’était pas plus que le nôtre ce soir. Tout homme qui ait jamais entendu parler de Jésus, qui ait pu trouver dans son coeur à lui ou à elle une place pour L’adorer et L’aimer, désire Le voir. Et les Ecritures déclarent qu’Il est le même qu’Il était hier. Donc, ça ne serait pas inhabituel si Dieu se manifestait à nous ce soir juste comme Il l’a fait dans Son Fils, Jésus-Christ, car nous croyons vraiment qu’Il n’est pas mort, Il est vivant. S’Il est mort, notre religion est vaine.
| E-7 Now this Scripture tonight, teaches that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. I wonder if we would believe that with all of our heart. It's got to be true. If it isn't true, then there's no other Scripture true, because they cannot be broken, and they're the Words of the eternal God.
And these hungry Greeks who came to ask the question to Philip, I believe their desires is no more than our desires tonight. Every man that's ever heard of Jesus, that could find a place in his heart or her heart to worship Him and to love Him, desires to see Him.
And the Scripture says that He is the same as He was yesterday. Then it would not be an unusual thing if God would manifest Himself to us tonight just as He did in His Son, Christ Jesus, for we truly believe that He is not dead, He is a living. If He is dead, our religion is in vain.

E-8 Et je pense que le grand problème ce soir, ce qui fait que l’islam, le bouddhisme et beaucoup d’autres ismes du monde l’emportent sur le christianisme, c’est la faiblesse des membres du Corps. Je ne pense pas que les laïcs soient à blâmer autant que les prédicateurs. Il y a quelque temps, on racontait qu’un jeune musulman avait posé la question... ou plutôt on lui avait demandé pourquoi il ne recevait pas Christ comme son Sauveur au lieu de son prophète mort. Et le jeune musulman a dit: «Monsieur, qu’est-ce que votre Christ peut faire pour moi de plus que mon Mahomet?»
Il a dit: «Eh bien, a dit le chrétien, notre Christ peut vous donner la joie et la paix, car Il est ressuscité d’entre les morts.»
Et le musulman a dit: «Mahomet me donne la joie et la paix. Et il n’est pas ressuscité d’entre les morts.» Et il a dit: «Je ne crois pas que votre Christ est ressuscité d’entre les morts», a dit le musulman au chrétien.
Le chrétien a dit: «Nous savons qu’Il est ressuscité d’entre les morts, car Il vit.»
Et le musulman a dit: «Où est-Il?»
Et le Chrétien a dit: «Dans mon coeur.» Et c’est bien.
Mais le musulman a répliqué à cela et il a dit: «Mahomet vit dans mon coeur.» Et il a ajouté: «Monsieur... l’islam peut produire autant de psychologie que le christianisme.» Et il a dit: «Nous sommes tout aussi heureux en croyant que Mahomet va ressusciter d’entre les morts et conquérir le monde que vous l’êtes en croyant que Christ viendra de nouveau sur la terre.»
| E-8 And I think that a great deal of trouble tonight, because that Mohammedanism, and Buddhism, and many of the isms of the world is predominate over Christianity, is because the weakness of the members of the body. I don't think that's to be blamed so much on the laity as it is upon the ministers.
Sometime ago, it was said that a young Mohammedan was asking the question--or he was asked why didn't he receive Christ as his Saviour instead of his dead prophet? And the young Mohammedan said, "Sir, what could your Christ do for me any more than my Mohammed?"
He said, "Well (the Christian said), our Christ can give you joy and peace, because He is risen from the dead."
And the Mohammedan said, "Mohammed gives me joy and peace. And he's not risen from the dead." And he said, "I do not believe that your Christ has raised from the dead," said the Mohammedan to the Christian.
And the Christian said, "We know that He has risen from the dead, because He lives."
And the Mohammedan said, "Where is He at?"
And the Christian said, "In my heart," and that's good.
But the Mohammedan come back with this and said, "Mohammed lives in my heart." And he said, "Mister... Mohammedanism can produce just as much psychology as Christianity can." And he said, "We're just as happy believing that Mohammed will raise from the dead and conquer the world as you are believing that Christ will come to the earth again."

E-9 Vous voyez, les choses sont profondes. Et ce musulman avait parfaitement raison. Alors, le chrétien a reconnu qu’il n’avait pas rencontré un homme qui avait juste... ce que nous appellerions dans le sud un bleu. Nous avons enseigné le christianisme du point de vue psychologique, beaucoup d’entre nous. Et nous avons compris cela... enseigné cela sous l’angle d’une théologie de nos églises et de nos dénominations.
Mais permettez-moi de dire ceci: Le christianisme dépasse cela d’un million de miles. Le christianisme présente un Jésus vivant et actuel juste le même qu’Il était autrefois, sinon les Ecritures sont fausses. Nous devons faire face au fait que Christ a dit ces choses.
| E-9 You see, there is a depth to things. And the Mohammedan was correctly right. And the Christian knew that he had not met a man that had just simply--what we would express down in the South--"an overnight man." We have taught Christianity in the line of psychology, many of us. And we've caught it--taught it in the line of some theology of our churches and our denominations.
But let me say this: Christianity goes a million miles beyond that. Christianity is presenting a living and a present day Jesus, just the same as He was then, or the Scriptures are wrong. We must face the fact that Christ said these things.

E-10 Et le musulman a dit au chrétien: «Nous attendons que vous les docteurs, vous produisiez ce qu’Il a dit que vous feriez.»
Et il a dit: «Que voulez-vous dire? Les promesses? Comme celle de Marc 16?» Il a dit: «C’est l’une d’elles.»
Il a dit: «Eh bien, nous avons appris (c’est le docteur qui avait appris), a-t-il dit, nous avons appris que Marc 16, du verset 9 jusqu’à la fin, n’est pas inspiré.»
Et le musulman a riposté à cela. Il a dit: «Quel genre de Livre lisez-vous? Si une partie En est inspiré et que le reste n’est pas inspiré, comment reconnaissez-vous la partie qui est vraiment inspirée?» Il a dit: «Tout le Coran est inspiré.» (C’est la Bible de musulmans.) Et il a dit: «Mahomet n’a promis que la vie après la mort, mais votre Christ a promis que vous ferez aussi les oeuvres qu’Il faisait, et nous attendons de voir cela se produire; alors nous croirons.»
Le chrétien a été vaincu. Assurément.
| E-10 And the Mohammedan said to the Christian, "We are waiting for the time for you teachers to produce what He said you would."
And he said, "What do you mean? Of the promises? Of like Mark 16?"
He said, "That's one of them."
He said, "Well, we learned (the teacher did)," said, "that we learned that Mark 16 from the 9th verse on, is not inspired."
And the Mohammedan come back with this. He said, "What kind of a book are you reading? If part of it is inspired and the rest of it is not inspired, how do you know what part really is inspired?" He said, "All of the Koran is inspired." That's the Mohammedan Bible. And he said, "Mohammed only promised life after death, but your Christ promised that the things that He did, you'd do also, and we're waiting to see that produced, then we will believe." The Christian was defeated. Certainly.

E-11 Ce qui nous manque aujourd’hui, si... quand Christ a donné cette commission d’aller par tout le monde–non pas pour former des églises, construire des bâtiments ou établir des écoles (Ce qui est très bien)–, mais Il a dit: «Prêchez la Bonne Nouvelle.» Et la Bonne Nouvelle, ce n’est pas construire des bâtiments, ou envoyer des gens à l’école, mais c’est la puissance et la démonstration du Saint-Esprit. Aussi a-t-Il dit: «Voici les miracles qui accompagneront ceux qui auront cru.»
Et à cause de la faiblesse de notre théologie, nous avons esquivé cela et nous avons trouvé un prétexte, que c’est pour un autre jour. Mais la Bible persiste toujours, que Jésus-Christ est le même hier, aujourd’hui et éternellement.
S’Il est donc le même, Il doit être le même en essence et quant à la puissance. Il doit être le même qu’autrefois; la seule différence, c’est Son corps physique. Mais avant de quitter la terre, Il a dit: «Je suis le Cep; vous êtes les sarments.» Or, ce n’est pas le cep qui porte le fruit. C’est le sarment qui porte le fruit, pas le cep. Il a donc confié à Son Eglise cette grande commission de porter le même fruit qu’Il avait porté quand Il était ici sur la terre.
| E-11 What we lack today, if, when Christ gave this commission to go into all the world--not to make churches, or to build buildings or to make schools (which are all right), but He said, "Preach the Gospel." And the Gospel is not building buildings, or sending people to school, but it's the power and demonstration of the Holy Spirit. Then He said, "These signs shall follow them that believe."
And in the weakness of our theology, we've by-passed that and excused it to another day. But the Bible still remains, that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Then if He is the same, He has to be the same in principle and power. He has to be the same as He was: only one difference, a corporal body.
But before He left the earth He said, "I am the Vine; ye are the branches." Now, the vine does not bear fruit. The branch bears fruit, not the vine. So He left in charge of His Church, this great commission to bear the same fruit that He bore when He was here on earth.

E-12 Si vous alliez à une vigne, vous vous attendriez à trouver des raisins. Si vous alliez à un plant de pastèque, vous auriez des pastèques, si c’est une bonne vigne fertile. Si vous alliez à un plant de potirons, vous auriez des potirons. Mais quand nous arrivons à la vigne de l’héritage de Dieu, nous ne trouvons que des querelles, des troubles, des barrières et toutes sortes de petits ismes, plutôt que l’Esprit de Dieu agissant dans l’Eglise comme ça devait l’être. Et pourtant, c’est la Vigne de Dieu.
«Ce que le gazam a laissé, le hasil l’a dévoré.» Mais Dieu a dit: «Je restaurerai, dit l’Eternel.» C’est la glorieuse promesse que nous attendons.
| E-12 If you would go to a grape vine, you'd expect to get grapes. If you went to a watermelon vine, you would receive watermelons, if it's a good fertile vine. If you went to a pumpkin vine, you would receive pumpkins.
But when we come to the vine of God's heritage, what do we find but fusses, and troubles, and barriers and all kinds of little isms and not the Spirit of God moving in the church as it should be. And yet, it's the Vine of God.
What the palmerworm has left, the caterpillar has eaten. But God said, "I will restore, saith the Lord." That's the glorious promise that we wait for.

E-13 Eh bien, nous... ces Grecs ont dit: «Nous voudrions voir Jésus.» Pas tellement que nous aimerions L’entendre, mais nous aimerions Le voir. Je me demande bien si ce ne sera pas là le sentiment de chaque personne ici ce soir: voir Jésus. Comment pouvons-nous donc Le voir? Dans Son Eglise, dans Son peuple: Nous sommes des épîtres écrites. L’Esprit de Christ vit dans Son peuple et produit Sa Vie. Et Son ministère continue à progresser jusqu’à Son retour. Et Il est ici. C’est à cause de la cécité de nos yeux que nous ne Le voyons pas. Si seulement nous pouvons ouvrir nos yeux aux choses qui sont réelles... J’habite au bord de la rivière (quand je suis chez moi, dans l’Indiana); j’habite près de la rivière Ohio. Il y a quelque temps, un petit garçon fréquentait l’école du dimanche dans ma ville. Il est allé à la rivière avec un vieux pêcheur. Et c’est un jeune garçon qui s’était découragé, car il avait posé la question à sa maman un jour, il avait dit: «Maman, Dieu est très grand; peut-on Le voir?»
Elle avait dit: «Eh bien, je ne sais pas. Demande au pasteur; il viendra dîner chez nous dimanche.»
Et il avait demandé au pasteur: «Peut-on voir Dieu, monsieur?»
«Eh bien, avait-il répondu, certainement pas, fils. Personne ne peut voir Dieu.»
Et il avait posé la question à sa monitrice de l’école du dimanche et celle-ci avait répondu: «Eh bien, bien sûr que non. Personne ne peut voir Dieu.»
Et le petit garçon, préoccupé, s’était dit: «Eh bien, s’Il est si grand, pourquoi ne peut-on pas Le voir?»
| E-13 Now, we--this Greek said, "We would see Jesus. Not so much as we would hear Him, but we would just love to see Him." I just wonder if that wouldn't be the feeling tonight, of every person here, to see Jesus? Then how could we see Him? In His church in His people: we are written epistles. The Spirit of Christ lives in His people and produces His life. And His ministry continues to go on until He comes again. And He is here. It's the blindness of our eyes, the reason we don't see Him. If we could just open our eyes to things that are real...
I live on the river (what time I'm home in Indiana); I live by the Ohio River. Sometime ago, a little boy had went to Sunday school in my city. He went up the river with an old fisherman. And he was a discouraged little boy, because he had asked his mommy one day, he said, "Mommy, God is so great, could anybody see Him?"
And she said, "Now, I don't know. You ask the pastor; he's coming home with us for dinner, Sunday."
And he said to the pastor, "Could anyone see God, sir?"
"Why," he said, "certainly not, son. No one can see God."
And he asked his Sunday school teacher and she said, "Why certainly not. No one can see God."
But the little fellow with his enthusiasm, thought, "Well, if He is so great, why can He not be seen?"

E-14 Et un jour, alors qu’il était à la rivière avec un vieux pêcheur, un orage éclata. Et sur le chemin de retour, le vieux pêcheur ramait sa barque, et le petit garçon était assis à la poupe de la barque. Et l’arc-en-ciel est apparu après l’orage. Le vieux pêcheur, couvert d’une barbe grise, s’est mis à pleurer quand il a vu l’arc-en-ciel. Et de grosses larmes brillantes se mirent à couler sur sa barbe blanche. Cela préoccupa le petit garçon au point qu’Il courut vers le milieu de la barque et tomba sur les genoux du vieux pêcheur. Et il dit: «Monsieur, j’aimerais vous poser une question à laquelle ni ma mère, ni la monitrice de l’école du dimanche, ni le pasteur n’ont pu me répondre: Peut-on voir Dieu?»
C’était trop pour le vieil homme; il ramena ses rames sur ses genoux, fit passer ses bras autour du petit garçon et dit: «Que Dieu bénisse ton petit coeur. Tout ce que j’ai vu pendant les quarante dernières années, c’est Dieu.» Quand Dieu entre à l’intérieur, vous pouvez Le voir, mais vous ne pouvez pas Le voir avant qu’Il entre à l’intérieur pour regarder au travers de vos yeux.
| E-14 And up on the river one day, with the old fisherman, there'd come up a storm. And on the road back the old fisherman was pulling his boat, and the little lad was sitting in the stern of the boat. And the rainbow came out after the storm. And the old fisherman, with his gray beard, begin weeping as he looked at the rainbow. And the great bright tears begin to run down his white beard. It enthused the little lad until he ran up into the middle of the boat and fell down at the lap of the old fisherman. And he said, "Sir, I want to ask you a question that my mommy, or Sunday School school teacher, or pastor could not answer me. Can anyone see God?"
And it was so much for the old man, he pulled his oars into his lap, and threw his arms around the little lad, and he said, "God bless your little heart. All I've seen for the past forty years has been God." When God gets on the inside, you can see Him, but you can't see Him until He gets inside to look through your eyes.

E-15 Il y a quelques semaines, dans notre grande ville de Louisville, dans le Kentucky, une femme a offert un spectacle très remarquable. Elle tenait son... dans ses bras un petit garçon d’environ six ou sept ans. Et elle était dans l’un de ces grands bazars. Et on l’a vue aller d’un comptoir à un autre, prenant de petits–petits gadgets et les tenant devant le petit garçon. Et elle allait à un autre comptoir, puis elle prenait un autre petit gadget, et elle le soulevait devant le petit garçon, et ainsi de suite à divers comptoirs. Et les gens se sont mis à l’observer. Et quelque temps après, elle est arrivée devant une espèce de babiole qui faisait du bruit et qui cliquetait. Et elle l’a soulevée devant le petit garçon et l’a fait cliqueter. Et elle a déposé cela par terre et s’est écroulée sur le–sur le comptoir, en pleurant. Et certaines personnes qui se tenaient tout près sont allées la réconforter. Et ils ont demandé: «Madame, pourquoi pleurez-vous ainsi?»
Elle a dit: «Oh! Il ne va pas mieux.»
Ils ont dit: «Qu’est-ce qui ne va pas mieux?»
Elle a dit: «Le petit garçon.» Elle a dit: «Le médecin a dit qu’il allait mieux; cependant, il ne va pas mieux, sinon il aurait pu faire attention à certaines de ces choses auxquelles les enfants font attention.» Il n’avait pas l’esprit en place.
| E-15 A few weeks ago in our great city of Louisville, Kentucky, there was a noticeable sight of a woman. She had her--a little boy in her arms, of about six or seven years old. And she was in one of the great ten cent stores. And they noticed her going from counter to counter, picking up little--little gadgets and holding it before the little boy. And she would go to another counter, and pick up a different little gadget, and hold it up to the little boy, and on down along the different counters. And the people begin watching her. And after while she got to some sort of a little a thing that made a noise and rattled. And she'd picked it up before the little lad and she rattled it. And she laid it down and fell across the--the counter, weeping. And some who were around near, came to--to comfort her. And they said, "Lady, why are you weeping so?"
And she said, "Oh, it's no better."
They said, "What is no better?"
Said, "The little boy." said, "The doctor said he was better, but he is no better, or he could notice some of these things that children ought to notice." His mind was gone.

E-16 Et je me demande bien, en ce jour dans lequel nous vivons présentement, si Dieu n’est pas en train d’amener Son enfant de lieu en lieu, manifestant divers dons et autres devant eux, mais ils restent assis là, engourdis, tellement morts dans le péché et les offenses, qu’ils n’arrivent pas à voir la gloire et le don du Seigneur qu’Il essaie de leur présenter.
Que cela soit loin de cette grande église qui est assemblée ici ce soir. Alors que Dieu se révèle, puissions-nous être sérieux et sincères pour voir que c’est Christ qui cherche à se faire connaître à Son Eglise pour le salut des âmes, la guérison du corps ainsi que pour chaque bénédiction de la rédemption pour laquelle Il est mort. Tout appartient à Son Eglise et à chaque croyant.
Ce ne serait pas correct de commencer une réunion sur base d’un simple témoignage. Il nous est avantageux de sonder les Ecritures pendant quelques instants pour trouver un contexte au passage des Ecritures dont nous parlons.
| E-16 And I just wonder, in this day that we now live, if God isn't taking His child from place to place and manifesting different gifts and so forth before them, and they still set numb-brained--just so dead in sin and trespasses, until they can't see the glory and the gift of the Lord that He's trying to present before them.
May that be far from this great church tonight that's gathered here. As God reveals Himself, may we be earnest and sincere to see that It is Christ trying to make Hisself known to His church, for the salvation of souls, and the healing of the body, and for every redemptive blessing that He died for. All belongs to His church and to every believer.
It would not be fair just to start a meeting upon bare testimony. It is profitable that we should search into the Scriptures for a few moments to find a context of the Scripture to what we are speaking of.

E-17 Eh bien, nous voudrions voir ce que Jésus était et ce qu’Il... comment Il s’est fait connaître aux gens de l’époque où Il avait marché sur la terre. S’Il s’est donc présenté de telle façon et de telle manière à l’époque où Il avait marché sur la terre, ne serait-ce pas logique de penser que, s’Il est le même hier, aujourd’hui et éternellement, Il se présenterait à Son peuple de la même manière aujourd’hui? Ce le serait certainement. Examinons donc pendant une minute pour voir ce qu’Il était.
Dans l’Evangile selon saint Jean, chapitre 5, verset 19, nous lisons ce qui suit, lorsqu’Il a été interrogé sur quelque chose qu’Il avait fait, et pourquoi Il avait laissé une multitude de gens et avait guéri un seul homme; Il a répondu comme suit: «En vérité, en vérité, Je vous le dis: le Fils ne peut rien faire de Lui-même; mais ce qu’Il voit faire au Père, le Fils aussi le fait pareillement.» Si c’était là Sa réponse hier, ça serait Sa réponse aujourd’hui, car Il ne peut pas la changer. Pour demeurer le même, Il doit être le même. «Je ne fais rien de Moi-même, mais Je ne fais que ce que Je vois faire au Père.» Et Dieu était en Christ, réconciliant le monde avec Lui-même. Dieu s’était confiné dans un seul corps; c’était Son Fils. Par la mort de Son Fils, Dieu a été amené à toute Son Eglise universelle. Par la puissance sanctificatrice du Saint-Esprit, par le Sang de Christ, Il purifie les mortels et fait d’eux, non pas par eux-mêmes, mais par la grâce de Dieu, par Sa grâce, Il fait d’eux des sujets du Saint-Esprit afin qu’Il parle, marche, prêche et agisse par Son Eglise, Sa Vigne, ou plutôt Ses sarments qui sont attachés à Lui.
| E-17 Now, we would see what Jesus was and what He--how He made Hisself known to people in the days of His walk on earth. Then if He presented Himself in such a way and such a manner in the days of His walk on earth, would not it be logical to think that, if He is the same yesterday, today, and forever, that He would present Hisself to His people in the same manner today? It certainly would. Then let us look for a minute and see what He was.
In the Book of Saint John, the 5th chapter and the 19th verse, we find it reading like this: when He'd been questioned on something that He had did, and why He had left a multitude of people and had healed one man, He answered like this: Verily, verily, I say unto you, the Son can do nothing in Himself; but what He sees the Father doing, that doeth the Son likewise." If that was His answer yesterday, that would be His answer today, for He could not change it. To remain the same, He must be the same.
"I do nothing in Myself but what I see the Father doing." And God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself. God had confined Himself to one body; that was His Son. Through the death of His Son, brought God to the entire church, universal. Through the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, through the Blood of Christ, cleanses mortal man and makes them, not in themselves, but by the grace of God through His grace, makes them subjects of the Holy Spirit, that He talks and walks and preaches and acts through His Church, His Vine, or His branches that's connected in Him.

E-18 Il a dit: «Ce n’est pas Moi qui fais les oeuvres. C’est Mon Père qui habite en Moi; c’est Lui qui fait les oeuvres. Je ne fais rien de Moi-même, mais ce qu’Il me dit de faire, ou Me montre de faire–Me montre de faire.» Ainsi, Jésus devait avoir (Il n’y a pas un autre moyen de rendre cette Ecriture vraie), Jésus devait donc voir en vision ce que la volonté du Père indiquait de faire, puis Il allait accomplir cela. Si vous en lisez le contexte, vous verrez que c’est vrai, car Il ne pouvait pas dépasser de grandes multitudes de boiteux, d’aveugles, d’infirmes et de paralytiques pour aller guérir un seul homme couché sur un grabat; en effet, Il savait qu’il avait été dans cet état depuis beaucoup d’années.
Eh bien, nous découvrons donc qu’Il était juste... qu’Il marchait suivant la conduite et la direction du Père. Oh! Ne serait-ce pas une chose glorieuse ce soir si toute cette église pouvait avoir pareil témoignage: «Je fais toujours ce qui plaît au Père»? D’avoir pareil témoignage ne ravirait-il pas le coeur de Son Eglise? Il y aurait une translation comme du temps d’Enoch. Et on devrait être si proche de Sa Venue.
| E-18 He said, "It's not Me that doeth the work. It's My Father that dwelleth in Me; He doeth the work. I do nothing Myself, but what He tells Me to do or shows Me to do--shows Me to do." So Jesus must have (no other way to make that Scripture right), then Jesus had to see visions of what the Father's will was to do, then He went and done it. If you'll read the proceeding context of that, you'll find that it's true, for He could not have passed great multitudes of lame, blind, halt, and withered, and went to one man laying on a pallet and healed him--for He knew he'd been in that condition for many years.
Now, we find out then, that He was just--walked as the Father guided and directed Him.
Oh, would it not be a glorious thing tonight, if this entire church could have that testimony: "I always do that which is pleasing to the Father"? Would not that thrill the heart of His church to have that testimony? There would be a translation like Enoch's time. And it'll have to be that near His coming.

| E-19 Now, let us turn to the 1st chapter of Saint John, and just preview what He was yesterday. Then we'll have some general idea of what He would be today. In the 1st chapter of Saint John, after the Father had come upon Him in the form of a dove (and Him being the Lamb--for the two natures are exactly the same), the Father represented Himself as a bird; He represented His Son as a lamb.
The dove is the gentlest thing of heaven. And the lamb is the gentlest beast on earth. They had to be the same. If the dove would've flew on a wolf, the wolf would've started and the dove would have taken his flight. And that's the way today, that we find ourselves--with all of our tempers and our fussings. The Holy Spirit is gentle. It will only dwell in a gentle place: Lamb led by a dove...

E-20 Et Son ministère commença. Et ensuite, l’une des premières choses que nous voyons, c’est qu’il y eut quelqu’un du nom d’André qui s’était converti à la religion chrétienne. Et il alla vite prendre son frère. Et le nom de son frère était Simon. A votre avis, que se passa-t-il dans le coeur de ce pêcheur illettré? La Bible dit qu’il était un homme du peuple sans instruction. Jésus n’a pas dit: «Il te faut une expérience de séminaire», ou: «Il te faut connaître toutes les prières religieuses.» Il a simplement accompli un miracle qui a enflammé le coeur de cet apôtre. «Ton nom est Simon, mais tu seras appelé Pierre, un petit caillou. Et tu es le fils de Jonas.» Et cela l’a ravi.
| E-20 And His ministry started. And then, one of the first things we find, that there was one by the name of Andrew who got converted to Christian religion. And quickly he goes and gets his brother. And his brother's name was Simon. And as soon as Simon came into the Presence of the Lord Jesus, we hear the Scripture, Saint John 1, say, that Jesus said, "Your name is Simon, but I'm going to change it and call you Peter." And he said, "Your father's name is Jonas."
What do you think took place in the heart of that illiterate fisherman? The Bible said he was ignorant and unlearned. Jesus didn't say, "You need a seminary experience," or "You need to know all the religious prayers." He just performed a miracle that set that apostle's heart on fire. "Your name is Simon, but thou shalt be called Peter, a little stone. And you are the son of Jonas." And it thrilled him.

E-21 Et ensuite, un autre est venu, du nom de Philippe; nous venons de lire à son sujet. Et aussitôt qu’il a trouvé cette grande Fontaine, il ne pouvait pas garder cela pour lui-même. Si l’église a réellement trouvé la Fontaine, il y a quelque chose au sujet de Jésus qui fait que lorsque vous Le trouvez, vous devez en parler aux autres. C’est ainsi que les Bonnes Nouvelles se répandent.
Et il avait un ami qui habitait à quinze miles [24 km] de l’autre côté de la montagne. Et il a détalé pour chercher cet ami. Et quand il est arrivé auprès de lui, peut-être qu’il était sous un arbre en train de prier. La Bible dit qu’il était sous un arbre. Et bien sûr, Philippe, étant un gentleman chrétien, a attendu qu’il termine de prier. Je peux donc voir Nathanaël se lever, s’épousseter les habits et–et saluer son ami. Et avant qu’il puisse dire: «Bonjour, ou bon après-midi, Nathanaël», il a dit: «Oh! Viens voir Qui nous avons trouvé.» Oh! Il y a quelque chose à Son sujet, car quand vous Le trouvez, votre âme est ravie, et vous êtes... C’est ça la première chose qui vous vient à l’esprit: «Oh! Viens voir Qui nous avons trouvé, Jésus de Nazareth, le Fils de Joseph.»
| E-21 And then there was another who came, by the name of Philip, that we have just read about. And as soon as he found this great fountain, he could not keep it to himself. And if the church truly found the fountain, there's something about Jesus, when you find Him, you have to tell others. That's how the good news spreads.
And he had a friend that lived some fifteen miles around the mountain. And he took off speedily to find this friend. And when he come to him, perhaps he was under a tree, praying. The Bible said he was under a tree. And Philip waited, of course, being a Christian gentlemen, until he had finished praying. Then I could see Nathanael rise up, and brush the dust from his clothes, and--and greet his friend. And before he could say, "Good morning, or good afternoon, Nathanael." Said, "Oh, come, see Who we have found." Oh, there's something about Him for when you find Him, your soul is thrilled and you're--that's the first thing in your mind: "Oh, come, see Who we have found, Jesus of Nazareth, the Son of Joseph."

E-22 Et, bien sûr, ce croyant orthodoxe a dit... Eh bien, je peux bien l’entendre dire: «Eh bien, juste une minute: Tiens, Philippe, tu dois avoir perdu le nord. Je–j’en suis si content. «Assurément Il serait au Vatican, ou Il serait à–à l’abbaye Westminster, ou quelque part comme ça, s’Il vient.» Mais Dieu vient là où ça Lui plait de venir. Il fait des choses à Sa propre façon bénie.
Et il a dit: «Eh bien, juste une minute, Philippe. Je t’ai connu comme un homme honnête dans nos relations, et maintenant tu veux me dire que tu es venu ici avec une espèce de discours enthousiasmé pour me dire que tu as trouvé le Messie, et qu’Il est venu du milieu de ce genre de gens?»
Je pense que Philippe lui a donné la meilleure réponse qu’un homme puisse donner. Il a dit: «Viens, et vois.» Eh bien, ne restez pas à la maison à critiquer, et ne vous contentez pas de la déclaration du sacrificateur ou de ses pensées, ou de ce que le pasteur a dit, mais venez voir de vous-mêmes.
| E-22 And of course this orthodox believer said--now, I can just hear him say, "Now, just a minute, here, Philip. You must've went off on the deep end. You've come here telling me in such a time as this, that the Messiah has come? And you mean to tell me that He would come out of Nazareth, that wicked little city? If He come, He'd have to come from Jerusalem or some great cathedral, and all the great religious leaders would know about it."
But God does things so peculiar. He just does it in His own blessed way. I--I'm so glad of that. "Surely He would be at the Vatican, or He would be at the--at the Westminster Abbey, or somewhere, if He comes." But God comes wherever it pleases Him to come. He does things in His own blessed way.
And he said, "Now, just a minute, Philip. I've knowed you to be an honest man in our dealings, and now you mean to tell me that you've come here with some sort of a enthusiastic expression to say to me, that you've found the Messiah, and He comes from this type of people?"
And I think that Philip give him the best answer that any man could. He said, "Come and see." Now, don't stay home and criticize, and don't take the priest's expression or his thoughts, or take what the pastor said, but come see for yourself.

E-23 Oh! Il avait quinze miles [24 km] pour converser avec lui. Ainsi, pendant qu’ils allaient, je peux imaginer entendre Philippe lui parler des choses que notre Seigneur avait accomplies au sujet de... Il a dit: «Tu te souviens de ce vieux pêcheur là-bas, le jour que tu as acheté ces poissons, et–et qui ne pouvait pas signer la facture des poissons?»
«Oui.»
«Quand il est arrivé devant ce Nazaréen, Celui-ci lui a dit qui il était et Il lui a dit qui était son père.» Oh! Je peux l’entendre dire: «Je ne serais pas surpris qu’Il sache qui tu es.»
«Eh bien, juste une minute, dit Nathanaël. Je vais tirer mes propres conclusions une fois arrivé là.» Ayant longé la route, ils sont arrivés ce soir-là à la réunion où se trouvait Jésus. Et quand ils sont entrés dans Sa Présence, l’oeil du Maître l’a vu. Et Il lui a dit: «Voici un Israélite dans lequel il n’y a point de fraude.»
| E-23 Oh, he had fifteen miles to converse with him. So, as they went along, I can imagine hearing Philip quote to him the things that our Lord had did about... Said, "You remember that old fisherman down there, that day when you bought those fish, and--and he couldn't sign the receipt for the fish?"
"Yes."
"When he came up in front of this Nazarene, He told him who he was and told him who his father was." Oh, I can hear him say, "It wouldn't surprise me if He didn't know who you were."
"Now, just a minute," say Nathanael. "I'll draw my own conclusions when I get there." And as they went along the road, they came to the meeting that evening where Jesus was at.
And when they walked up into His Presence, the eye of the Master looked out and caught him. And He said to him, "Behold, an Israelite in whom there is no guile."

E-24 Aujourd’hui, cela pourrait bien paraître juste une petite chose quand nous y pensons, mais savez-vous qu’à l’époque, ils s’habillaient tous de la même manière et qu’ils avaient le même aspect? Il pouvait avoir été un Arabe, il pouvait avoir été un Grec, ou d’un de nombreux autres peuples de l’Orient de l’époque. Ils avaient un teint sombre, et ils avaient pratiquement tous le même aspect, et ils s’habillaient de la même façon. Mais Jésus a su qu’il était un Israélite et un homme honnête.
Et cela a tellement étonné Nathanaël qu’il a dit: «Rabbi, d’où me connais-Tu?» Et il attendait là la réponse de Jésus hier.
Et Il a dit: «Avant que Philippe t’appelât, Je t’ai vu sous l’arbre.» C’était assez.
Il a dit: «Rabbi, Tu es le Fils de Dieu. Tu es le Roi d’Israël.»
Et Il a dit: «Parce que Je t’ai dit cela, tu as cru cela?»
| E-24 Now, it might just seem just a little thing for us to think on that, but did you know in that day, all people dressed alike and they looked alike. He could've been a Arab, or he could have been a Greek, or of many other of the people of that day of the Orient. They were dark people, and they all looked about alike and dressed something alike. But Jesus knew he was an Israelite and a honest man.
And it astonished him in such a way, Nathanael, until he said, "Rabbi, whence knowest Thou me?" And he's waiting now, for the answer of Jesus yesterday.
And He said, "Before Philip called you, I saw you under the tree." That was enough.
He said, "Rabbi, Thou art the Son of God. Thou art the King of Israel."
And He said, "Because I said this to you, you believed it?"

E-25 Or, si c’était là le signe pour les Juifs à l’époque, pour montrer qu’Il était le Messie, c’était ainsi qu’Il a fait savoir aux gens qu’Il était le Messie–et Il n’a pas du tout changé–,ça devrait être la même chose aujourd’hui s’Il est le même.
Il serait injuste s’Il se manifestait à nous par la théologie et par une simple observance de ce qui est dit sur les–les traditions des anciens, s’Il se faisait donc connaître ainsi, et puis prétendait qu’Il est le même hier, aujourd’hui et éternellement. Il doit garder cette même chose.
| E-25 Now, if that was a sign to the Jews in that day, to mean that He was Messiah, that's the way He made the people to know that He was Messiah--and He hasn't changed a bit--It would have to be the same today if He is the same.
He would be unjust to manifest Hisself to us in a way of theology and a way of just keeping a certain declaration of--of traditions of the elders, and then make Hisself known in that way, and then claim that He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He would have to keep that same thing.

E-26 Il y en avait qui se tenaient à côté de Lui, qui ne croyaient pas cela, des religieux, des fervents religieux, la crème de la moisson, pour ainsi dire, comme nous le dirions dans le Sud. C’étaient des sacrificateurs, le souverain sacrificateur, des–des évangélistes, des orthodoxes. Et ils ont dit: «Cet Homme a un mauvais esprit. Cet Homme doit être un diseur de bonne aventure. Il doit être Béelzébul, le roi et le prince de tous les diseurs de bonne aventure.»
Qu’a dit notre Seigneur? Il a dit: «Je vous pardonne si vous parlez contre Moi, le Fils de l’homme. Mais (En d’autres termes ceci) un jour, le Saint-Esprit viendra accomplir la même chose, un seul mot contre cela ne vous sera jamais pardonné ni dans ce siècle ni dans les siècles à venir.» Comment devrions-nous donc aborder l’Evangile?
| E-26 There were those who stood by Him, who did not believe that-- and religious, very religious, the cream of the crop, as so to say, as we say it in the south. There were the priests, and the high priest, and the--the evangelicals, the Orthodox. And they said, "This man has an evil spirit. This man must be a fortuneteller. He must be a Beelzebub, the king and the prince of all the fortunetellers."
And what was the words that come from our Lord? He said, "I forgive you if you speak that word against Me, the Son of man." But in so much like this: "There will come a day when the Holy Ghost will come and will do the same thing, and one word against it will never be forgiven in this world nor in the world that is to come." Then how should we approach the Gospel?

E-27 Remarquez, il y eut un jour (et maintenant, on termine), Il est parti de la Galilée; il fallait qu’Il passât par la Samarie. Et alors qu’Il était fatigué et épuisé, Il s’est assis au puits pendant que Ses disciples étaient allés en ville acheter des provisions.
Nous voyons que les Orientaux, ils... le puits était généralement juste en dehors de la ville. Et pendant qu’Il était assis là, épuisé de Son voyage, une jeune femme est venue de la ville. Représentons-nous-la une–une femme attrayante. Et elle a fait descendre sa cruche de la tête. Et cette cruche avait deux larges anses. Et c’est très frappant de voir comment les femmes là-bas pouvaient transporter de l’eau: Elles pouvaient placer une cruche sur la tête, et une à chaque hanche, et elles causaient sans jamais déverser l’eau.
Et elle a fait descendre cette cruche pour puiser de l’eau, et elle a vu, assis dans un coin, un Homme d’âge moyen qui était un Juif. Et il y avait une grande loi de ségrégation dans le pays. Et elle a entendu ce Juif lui dire: «Femme, apporte-Moi à boire.»

We find that the Orients, they--the well was just outside the city, usually. And while He was setting there, weary in His journey, there came a young woman coming out of the city. Let us think that she was a--an attractive woman. And she let down her pot from off of her head. And they have two large handles and it's very amazing to watch how the women over there can pack water: can set a pot on top of their head, and one on each hip, and carry a conversation, and never spill the water.
But she let this pot down to get the water, and she noticed, setting back in the corner, a middle aged Man which was a Jew. And there was a great law of segregation in the land. And she heard this Jew say to her, "Woman, bring me a drink."
Now, we'll see what He man--how He manifest Hisself before the Samaritans. You know there's only three nationalities of people in the world. They come from Noah's three sons, Ham, Shem, and Japheth: the Jew, the Samaritan, the Gentile.

Nous n’avons simplement pas cela, nous n’avons pas de relations entre nous.» Il a dit: «Femme, si tu connaissais Celui à qui tu parles, tu M’aurais toi-même demandé à boire.» Et Il contactait son esprit. Et dans peu de temps, après que la conversation se fut longtemps poursuivie, Il a dit: «Va, appelle ton mari, et viens ici.»
Elle a dit: «Je n’ai point de mari.»
Il a dit: «Tu as dit vrai. Tu as eu cinq maris, et celui que tu as maintenant n’est pas ton mari; tu as donc dit vrai.»
Maintenant, voyons ce qu’elle a dit. Et si elle avait vécu à New York, à Philadelphie, ou si elle avait été membre d’une de nos grandes églises? «Mon pasteur a dit que c’est de la psychologie, ou c’est de la télépathie.» Qu’a-t-elle dit? He said, "Woman, if you knew Who you were talking to, you would ask Me for a drink." And He was contacting her spirit. And in a little while, after the conversation went at length, He said, "Go get your husband and come here."
She said, "I don't have any husband."
He said, "You have said well. You've had five husbands and the one that you're now have, is not your husband; so you said well."
Now, let's see what she says. What if she would have lived in New York, Philadelphia, or had been the members of some our great churches? "My pastor said this is psychology, or it's telepathy." What did she say? (You know the reason the people'd say that? They're not trained in the Word.)

Quand le don de Dieu fut manifesté avec éclat devant les yeux de la prostituée, elle a reconnu cela. Mais nous sommes si morts et engourdis avec nos théologies que nous sommes aveuglés à la vérité, souvent, et nous n’arrivons pas à voir le don de Dieu, le Seigneur Jésus. «Oh! Venez voir un Homme qui m’a dit ce que je suis. Ne serait-ce point le Messie?» Certainement Il l’est.
| E-29 But this woman, though we want to believe her to be a prostitute, she'd put some preachers today, to shame on the Word. That's right. She said, "Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet. Now, we know when the Messiah cometh, He will tell us these things. He will tell us all things when He comes. You must be His prophet." And she said, "When the Messiah, which is called Christ, when He comes, He will tell us these things."
And He said, "I am He that speaks to you."
And she left her water pot, and into the city she went with a heart full of revelation. She said to the men in the city, "Come, see a Man Who told me the things that's in my life. Isn't this the Messiah?"
When the gift of God was dazzled before that prostitute's eyes, she recognized It. But we are so dead and numb with our theologies, until we're blinded from the truth, many times, and can't see the gift of God, the Lord Jesus. "Oh, come, see a Man that has told me what I am. Isn't this the Messiah?" Sure it is.

E-30 Eh bien, si vous remarquez bien, Jésus n’est pas allé vers les Gentils et Il a interdit à Ses disciples d’aller vers les Gentils. Donc, Il s’est manifesté aux Gentils uniquement au travers de l’enseignement de saint Paul. Or, s’Il s’est manifesté hier aux Juifs par ce signe, s’Il s’est manifesté aux Samaritains par ce signe, et que cela n’a jamais été manifesté dans l’âge des Gentils (Et cet âge des Gentils est en train de se terminer), alors, pour être le même hier, aujourd’hui et éternellement, Il doit accomplir la même chose. Et sur ce, je défie ce petit groupe ce soir, s’Il accomplissait pareille chose...
Or, il ne s’agit pas de la sainteté d’un homme. Il n’y a pas d’homme saint. Comme Pierre s’est une fois référé à la montagne de la Transfiguration, comme étant «la sainte montagne...» Il ne voulait pas dire la sainte montagne; il voulait dire qu’il avait rencontré le Dieu saint sur la montagne. Il n’existe pas de sainte église; c’est le Saint-Esprit dans l’église qui fait d’elle ce qu’elle est. Il n’existe pas d’homme saint; il y a le Saint-Esprit qui a un canal au travers des sujets de Son Royaume sur terre.
| E-30 Now, if you notice, Jesus did not go to the Gentiles, and He forbid His disciples to go to the Gentile. Therefore He was only manifested to the Gentiles through the teaching of Saint Paul. Now, if He manifested Himself yesterday to the Jew with that sign, He manifested to the Samaritan with that sign, and never has it been to the Gentile age (And this Gentile age is closing.) then, to be the same yesterday, today, and forever, He has to do the same. And in doing so, I challenge this little group tonight, if He would do such a thing...
Now, it's not the holiness of a man. There is no holy man. As Peter referred to the Mount Transfiguration once, he said, "The holy mount..." He did not mean the holy mountain; he meant the holy God that he met on the mountain. It isn't the holy church; it's the Holy Ghost in the church that makes it what it is. It is not the holy man; it's the Holy Spirit that has outlet through subjects of His earthly Kingdom.

E-31 Et s’Il se manifestait avec éclat devant ce monde aveuglé ce soir, il aurait la même conception (c’est ce qu’on a) que les pharisiens aveuglés de Son époque. Ce soir, demandons à Dieu de nous ouvrir les yeux, de nous accorder la vue. Que Son Esprit entre dans nos coeurs afin qu’Il puisse regarder au travers de nos yeux, entendre au travers de nos oreilles, et se révéler à nous comme le Fils ressuscité du Dieu vivant, Jésus-Christ le même hier, aujourd’hui et éternellement. Puissent Ses louanges retentir toujours dans les coeurs de New York jusqu’à ce que la dernière personne soit scellée dans le Royaume de Dieu, celle que Dieu a ordonnée à la Vie Eternelle. Prions.

Let us, tonight, ask God to open our eyes, and give us sight, and let His Spirit come into our hearts that He can look through our eyes, and hear through our ears, and reveal Himself to us as the risen Son of the living God, Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever. O Lord God, I would pray Thee to open the eyes of this entire audience tonight, that they might go from this great Manhattan Center here, with the revelation like the woman at the well: "Come, see a Man, the Man Christ, Who is not dead but alive forevermore." God raised Him up from the dead, set His corporal body on His own throne, and sent back the Holy Spirit to live in His church and to make disciples in all the world until He comes again. Grant it, Lord.
Circumcise the lips and the eyes and the ears of Your servants, that we might hear You speak and see You in Your resurrected power.

Seigneur, Tu as nourri plusieurs ici, Tu les as vêtus, Tu as été bon envers eux. Tu as épargné leur vie. Peut-être qu’ils n’ont jamais vraiment réalisé d’où cela venait. Mais pendant que nous sommes dans l’auberge ce soir, la porte fermée... Quand Tu as accompli cette petite chose que... juste comme Tu l’avais fait avant Ta crucifixion, Cléopas et son ami étaient convaincus que c’était Toi, car aucun autre homme n’avait fait cela exactement de cette façon-là, ni aucun autre homme ne pouvait le faire exactement de cette façon-là. Et ils avaient reconnu que c’était le Seigneur, alors leurs yeux s’ouvrirent. Et Il disparut d’un côté, derrière le rideau, et Il était hors de leur vue. Et ils ont continué leur chemin en se réjouissant, disant: «Notre coeur ne brûlait-il pas au-dedans de nous alors qu’Il nous parlait en chemin?»Seigneur, quand j’irai à ma chambre et que ces autres iront aux leurs, que cela soit notre témoignage ce soir: «Notre coeur ne brûlait-il pas au-dedans de nous alors qu’Il nous parlait au Manhattan Center ce soir?» Accorde-le, Seigneur.
Un jour, quand la vie sera terminée, que le temps ne sera plus et qu’il se sera fondu dans l’éternité, ô Dieu, nous nous agenouillerons, nous inclinant devant Ta Présence, nous T’adorerons, et nous nous assiérons à Tes pieds. Oh! Accorde-le, Seigneur, car nous le demandons au Nom de Jésus, Ton Fils. Amen.
| E-33 And from across this great city, when the people--the service shall end in a few moments, and shall be going to their different homes, may they talk like those who came from Emmaus. After they had walked with Him all day, and had heard Him preach and tell them of the Scriptures, yet their eyes were not opened. Many here, Lord, You've fed, You've clothed, You've been good to. You spared their lives. And maybe they have never really realized where it come from. But while we're in the inn tonight, and the door is closed... When You did that little thing that--just like you did before your crucifixion, Cleopas and his friend was assure that it was You, for no other man did it just that way, or no other man could do it just that way. And they knew it was the Lord, so their eyes were opened. And He vanished to one side, behind the curtain, and was out of their sight. And they went on their road rejoicing, saying, "Did not our hearts burn within us as He spoke to us along the road?"
Lord, as I go to my room and these others go to theirs, may that be our testimony tonight: "Did not our hearts burn within us as He spoke to us in the Manhattan Center, this night?" Grant it, Lord.
Someday when life shall end, and--and time shall be no more and shall blend itself into eternity, God, we'll kneel, bending before Your Presence, and worship You, and set at Your feet. O grant it, Lord, for we ask it in Jesus' Name, Thy Son. Amen.

Combien ont déjà lu cela? Faites-nous voir les mains. Et cet Ange a dit: «Pourquoi Sara a-t-elle ri?» Qu’était-ce? Mais c’était l’Ange qui avait apporté le dernier Message avant la destruction de Sodome. Et Il est parti... Et, rappelez-vous, ce n’était pas un Ange; c’était Dieu, car Abraham L’a appelé Dieu, par Elohim, ce qui signifie le Dieu Tout-Puissant, Jéhovah.

And these meetings, of the New England people, it's too bad it has to be set like this, but we're hurried. The message is urgent. God's message is always urgent.
You know the Angel that come to Abraham in his tent, just before Sodom was destroyed, do you remember, the Angel had His back turned to the tent where Sarah was when she laughed? How many ever read that, let's see your hands? And the Angel said, "Why did Sarah laugh?" What was that? But that was the Angel that brought the last message before the destruction of Sodomy. And He went... And remember, that was not an Angel; that was God, for Abraham called Him God in the Elohim, which is the Almighty, Jehovah.

| E-35 Now tonight, if it so pleases our God, there's people in here... How many sick people is in the building, let's see your hands, all everywhere, balconies and all? There's perhaps a thousand or more, maybe more than that that's sick and needy of prayer. Now, my beloved friends, I--I wish that I could pray for each one of you laying hands on you.
Now, I know that's a great doctrine, but you bear with me just a moment for this quotation. That's a Jewish sign. Jairus said, "Come, lay Your hands on my daughter and she'll live."
But the Gentile said, "I'm not worthy that You come under my roof. Just speak the Word."
It's not my hands that would help you, or the hands of any of your lovely pastors and teachers that's here, the servants of God. It isn't their hands or my hands; it's His hand. The Bible said that He is a High Priest that can be touched by the feeling of our infirmities." Do you believe that? Well, how did they touch Him in His day?

E-36 Il y eut une fois une femme qui avait une indisposition, une–une perte de sang pendant plusieurs années. Elle s’est faufilée dans la foule et a touché Son vêtement et s’en est allée, puis elle s’est assise, ou s’est tenue debout, ou je ne sais quoi elle a fait. Jésus s’est retourné et a demandé: «Qui M’a touché?»
«Eh bien, a dit Pierre, toute la foule Te touche.»
Il a dit: «Mais Je suis devenu faible. La vertu est sortie de Moi.» Et Il a promené le regard jusqu’à repérer là d’où sortait ce flot de foi. Oh! Les gens Le touchaient: «Oui, je suis membre de Ton église. Je suis ceci... cela...» Mais ce n’est pas cette touche qui compte. Il a repéré cette petite femme, qui avait l’air faible, et lui a dit qu’elle était guérie. Sa foi l’avait guérie.
Si c’était là Jésus hier, c’est Jésus aujourd’hui. Eh bien, l’Epître aux Hébreux dit qu’Il est maintenant, maintenant même, le Souverain Sacrificateur qui peut être touché par les sentiments de nos infirmités. Or, comment Le toucherez-vous s’Il est le même? Ça serait de la même manière qu’elle L’avait touché. Or, Il n’est pas ici dans un corps physique, vous devriez donc Le toucher spirituellement. Comment sauriez-vous alors que vous L’avez touché? Il vous répondra comme Il le fit à l’époque. Cela ferait-il de Lui le même hier, aujourd’hui et éternellement?
| E-36 There was a woman, one time, who had an infirmity a--a blood issue for several years. And she slipped through the crowd, and touched His garment and went off, and sit down or stood up or whatever she did. And Jesus turned and said, "Who has touched Me?"
"Why," Peter said, "The whole multitude touches You."
He said, "But I've gotten weak. Virtue has gone from Me."
And He looked around until He found where that stream of faith was pouring from. Oh, they were touching Him: "Yes, I'm a member of Your church. I'm this... that..." But that ain't the touch that counts. He found that little weak looking woman, and He told her that she was healed. Her faith had made her whole.
If that was Jesus yesterday, It's Jesus today. Now, the Book of Hebrews says that He is now, right now, a High Priest that can be touched by the feeling of our infirmity. Now, how would you touch Him if He is the same? It would be the same way she touched Him. Now, He's not here in a corporal body, so you'd have to touch Him spiritually. Then how would you know you touched Him? He would speak back to you as He did then. Would that make Him the same yesterday, today, and forever?

E-37 A cet instant, nous n’allons pas faire venir beaucoup de gens ici à l’estrade pour prier pour eux. Nous appelons juste quelques-uns. Il a dit: «C’est bon, mais il y en a encore plus.» Voyez? C’est donc bon. Tout homme qui–qui–qui enseigne Christ de n’importe quelle manière, c’est bon; mais il y en a un peu plus que ça qui nous arrive ce soir. Ainsi, ne donnons pas aux enfants juste un–un arôme, leur frotter cela sur les lèvres, ou peindre un feu, en disant: «C’est ce qui a fleuri en un jour.» Vous ne pouvez pas vous réchauffer à un feu peint; il faut un feu réel pour vous réchauffer.
Ce qu’ils firent du temps des apôtres doit être fait aujourd’hui si les coeurs des enfants sont réchauffés par la Présence de Christ. C’est vrai.
| E-37 We will not, at this hour, call too many up here to the platform to pray for. We just call a few. And let every person in here, if you will just give this much attention to the Gospel... Maybe it'd be a little different than what you're taught in your church... I have nothing against the way you teach it in your church; understand, not at all. But it's just like the man that was eating the watermelon down south. He said, "That was good, but there's more of it. See?" So it's good. Any man who--who--who teaches Christ in any manner, it's good; but there's some more of it coming to us tonight. So let's just not give the children a--a smell, and rub it across their lips, or paint a fire, and say, "That's what bloomed up in one day." You can't get warm with a painted fire; it takes real fire to warm you.
What they did in the apostles' time, must be done today if the children's hearts are warmed by the Presence of Christ. It's true.

E-39 Et nous attendons la Venue de notre Seigneur. Assurément, nous attendons. Maintenant, ne pensez-vous pas que la fin, que la dispensation des Gentils ne pourrait pas se terminer...? Et puis, à la–à la jonction du temps, Dieu envoie un ange, un prophète, une manifestation, l’Esprit, des dons, des miracles et des prodiges. Combien savent cela, vous les lecteurs de la Bible? Faites voir la main. Considérez la destruction du monde antédiluvien. Avant la fin, il y eut des prophètes, Enoch. Il y eut des signes et des prodiges; les anges apparurent; de grandes choses sont arrivées. Considérez la sortie des enfants d’Israël de l’Egypte. Considérez ce qui s’est passé. Voyez, c’était devenu froid et indifférent, avec un tas de théologies froides. Et tout à coup, un Ange apparut, un prophète vint. Des miracles et des prodiges s’accomplirent. Puis, cela s’est de nouveau refroidi. Puis, la Venue du Seigneur Jésus. Un ange vint, Gabriel, il parla au père et à la mère de Jean. Un prophète vint. Après ce prophète, vint Christ. Et le Christ, des signes, des prodiges et des miracles se produisirent. Nous sommes de nouveau à la fin. On a connu une longue période de froideur, de théologie ecclésiastique et d’indifférence. Nous sommes au temps de jonction. Juste... nous n’avons pas du tout de choix, pas d’autre espoir, en dehors de la Venue du Seigneur Jésus.
| E-39 And we're looking for the coming of our Lord. Certainly we do. Now, don't you think that the closing, that the Gentile dispensation could not close...? Did you ever notice? I preached here, some time ago, on the subject of "The Junction." And I was saying, at every junction the church runs cold and starchy for many years. And then at a--at a junction of time, God sends an Angel, prophet, manifestation, Spirit, gifts, miracles, wonders. How many you know that, you Bible readers, let's see your hand?
Look at the antediluvian destruction. Before the end come, there was prophets, Enoch. There were signs and wonders; Angels appeared; great things taken place.
Look at the coming out of the children of Israel out of Egypt. Look what taken place. See it cold and indifferent and a bunch of cold theology. And all at once an Angel appeared, a prophet came. Signs and wonders came. Then it cooled off again.
Then the coming of the Lord Jesus. There came an Angel, Gabriel, spoke to John's father and mother. And there came a prophet. Out from the prophet came the Christ. And the Christ--came signs and wonders and miracles. We're at the end again. It's been a long spell of coldness, church theology, and indifference. We're at the junction time. Just--we have no alternative at all, no other hope, outside the coming of the Lord Jesus.

E-40 Je pense que nous avons un bon président, le président Dwight Eisenhower. Je pense que c’est un–un brave homme. Mais en placer un dans chaque comté des Etats-Unis ne ferait aucun bien. Il faudra la Venue du Seigneur Jésus pour y parvenir. Le péché doit être jugé.
Et je dis ceci avec respect, et avec... sur ceci, prédicateurs chrétiens, si Dieu laisse cette génération s’en tirer sans leur infliger un jugement, Il serait obligé, étant un Dieu juste, de ressusciter Sodome et Gomorrhe et de leur présenter des excuses pour les avoir englouties. C’est vrai. Il ne peut pas être une chose dans une génération et une autre dans une autre. En effet, c’est à cause des péchés mêmes dont nous sommes coupables que Sodome et Gomorrhe ont été brûlées, à cause du même péché. Et nous voici, tout aussi coupables, et davantage aujourd’hui; donc, il ne reste rien.
Je regardais ce soir, à partir de la chambre d’hôtel, ces très hautes flèches de la grande ville; je me suis dit: «Ô Dieu, un de ces jours, il ne restera ici qu’un tas de poussière, et les âmes de ceux qui marchent dans la rue maintenant seront quelque part. Aide-moi, ô Dieu, à faire quelque chose pendant que je suis ici, à leur pointer un Sauveur.»...?...
| E-40 I think we've got a fine President, President Dwight Eisenhower. I think he's a wonderful man. But put one in every county in the United States, would never do a bit of good. It will take the coming of the Lord Jesus to do it. Sin must be judged.
And I say this with respect, and with--of this, the Christian ministers, if God let's this generation get by without giving them judgment, He would, as a just God, be duty bound to resurrect Sodom and Gomorrah and apologize to them for sinking them. That's right. He can't be one thing in one generation and another in another. For the very sins that we're guilty of, Sodom and Gomorrah was burnt up for that very same sin. And here we are, just as guilty and more today, so, there's nothing left.
I was looking tonight from the hotel room. These great high spires of the big city; I thought, "O God, one of these days, they'll be nothing but a pile of dust laying here, and the souls of these who walk in the street now, will be somewhere. Help me, O God, to do something while I'm here to point them to a Saviour."...?...

| E-41 Did they all get into the line down there, everybody come? All but how many? Four lacking? Number 4. Number 4 was the one who failed to come. If anybody knows--in here, there's a woman, man, boy or girl, whoever it is--that can find Number 4, put them in the line. It'll be all right.
Now, let--let's try that now, while we got these standing here. Now, I--How many in here are total strangers to me, let's see your hand? And now, all of you out there without prayer cards... How many doesn't have a prayer card, and yet you want Christ to heal you, raise your hand? Well, just about... Must not have give out very many cards. Maybe that's what it was. The same group raised their hands before. Now, if you haven't got a prayer card, therefore, you won't be in the line, now, as far as we know. But you just look to the Lord Jesus and say, "Lord, this minister has told me tonight, that You're a High Priest that can be touched by the feeling of my infirmities. O Lord God, I want to touch You for mercy." See what He says. See what He does. See if He acts in the same way that He did when He was here on earth. You don't need to be up here. These are just people that come to get the meeting started. That's no assurance they'll be healed. See? It's your faith that heals you.

I don't know the lady, have never seen her in my life. She's seen me from an audience. Now, if the lady is sick, I don't know. But if the lady is sick, and I could heal her, and would not do it, I'm... I'd ought to take this Bible, and present It to some of my ministering brethren, and walk out of New York. That's right. If I could help her and would not do it, I'd be an awful person. But you see...

E-43 «Eh bien, direz-vous, Frère Branham, si vous lui imposez les mains et que vous priiez pour elle...» Cela pourrait aussi être une bonne chose.
Mais remarquez. Si vous alliez au cabinet d’un médecin et que vous lui disiez: «Docteur, j’ai très mal à la tête», et qu’il vous donnait une aspirine et vous renvoyait à la maison, il cherche simplement à se débarrasser de vous. C’est vrai. Un vrai médecin doit faire le diagnostic du cas, jusqu’à trouver la cause. De là... Vous devez connaître la cause avant d’avoir le remède. Vous ne saurez pas ce que vous traitez.
C’est pareil dans le Royaume de Dieu. Avant de pouvoir offrir une prière de foi, vous devez en connaître la raison. Pourquoi? Il se pourrait que ce soit une incroyante. Il se pourrait que ce soit une–il se pourrait que ce soit une femme de mauvaise vie.
Je ne la connais pas. Peut-être que c’est une sainte. Je ne sais pas qui elle est. Alors, comment puis-je offrir une prière de foi avant de savoir ce que je fais? Je ne vais pas le lui demander; c’est au Père que je vais demander, qu’Il me le dise. Ce que le Père me dit alors, je sais, ça sera vrai.
| E-43 "Well," you say, "Brother Branham, if you lay your hands on her and pray for her..." that might be all right too.
But look. If you went to a doctor's office and said, "Doctor, I'm suffering with terrible headaches" and he give you an aspirin and sent you home, he's only trying to get rid of you. That's right. A real doctor would diagnose that case, till he finds the cause. And from there... You've got to know the cause before you get the cure. You don't know what you're doctoring.
So is it in the Kingdom of God. Before you can pray a prayer of faith, you have to know the reason. Why? This might be an infidel. It might be a--it might be a very ill-famed woman.
I don't know her. She might be a saint. I don't know who she is. And how can I pray a prayer of faith until I know what I'm doing? I will not ask her; I'll ask Father, let Him tell me. Then Father, what He tells me, I know will be true.

Qu’Il bénisse vos coeurs. Celle-ci est peut-être une grande ville, mais cela représente très bien les croyants en Christ. Vous savez, Dieu ne sauvera pas tout New York. Nous le savons. Non. Il sauvera ceux qu’Il a connus par prescience et qu’Il a élus pour la Vie Eternelle. Les yeux des autres seront fermés. Le déluge même qui sauva Noé noya le monde incrédule. L’Evangile même qui apporte la guérison et le salut à ceux qui sont élus pour cela aveugle les yeux des conducteurs, des docteurs, et des membres d’église à travers le monde. Ça a toujours été pareil, Dieu ne peut pas changer; Il demeure le même.
| E-44 Now, if I don't know her, and if the Lord Jesus will reveal just like He did the woman at the well, and tell her something that she has done, or not done, or something that's wrong with her, like there was with the woman at the well, and let it be right here (not in the... ), right here so you can see it and know it, how many in here will believe that Jesus Christ is raised from the dead and lives in His Church today? Bless your hearts. It may be a big city, but that's the very good representation of believers of Christ.
You know, God won't save all of New York. We know that. No. He will save the ones that by foreknowledge He knew, and has elected to Eternal Life. The rest of their eyes will be closed. The very flood that saved Noah, drowned the unbelieving world. The very Gospel that's bringing healing and salvation to those who are elected to such, is blinding the eyes of leaders, and teachers, and church members throughout the world. Always the same, God can't change; He remains the same.

Mais, ô Seigneur, Tu peux faire quelque chose pour faire comprendre aux gens que ce message entrecoupé est néanmoins la vérité. Prouve-le, Seigneur, en manifestant Ton Fils, le Seigneur Jésus, par la puissance de Sa résurrection. Et accorde, ce soir, que la Vie du Cep entre dans les sarments, ici, et qu’Elle se reproduise devant les incroyants, afin qu’ils voient et sachent que Christ vit toujours dans Son Eglise. C’est par la grâce de Dieu qu’Il accomplit cela. Accorde-le, Seigneur. Nous nous soumettons à Toi, maintenant, pendant les quelques prochaines minutes; car un seul Mot de Ta part vaudra plus que tout ce que tous les prédicateurs du monde pourraient dire. | E-45 Now, if I said I could heal the woman, I'd be telling something wrong. I don't say that God will reveal to me; I'm trusting that He will. I have no control of this. I don't control it; It controls me. I don't know whether He will or will not. I cannot tell you. But if He does, we'll all be thankful. We're ordained.
And now, Father, this--this preaching I--as I am not a preacher, Lord. I have no education to speak. And I, being kindy broken in my English, and my grammar, it's hard to make people understand me. But O Lord, Thou can do something to make the people understand that the cut up message is yet the truth. Declare it to be so, Lord, by manifesting Your Son, the Lord Jesus, in the power of His resurrection. And grant tonight, that the Life of the Vine will come into the branches here and will bring forth to the unbeliever, that they might see and know that Christ still lives in His Church. It's the grace of God that He does. Grant it, Lord. We submit ourselves unto Thee, now, for the next few minutes; for one word from You will mean more than all the preachers in the world could say. We're waiting for a word from You. Grant it, Lord, to us in Jesus Christ's Name. Amen.

Or, voici un homme et une femme qui se rencontrent pour la première fois de leur vie comme ça s’est passé dans Saint Jean 4. Je ne la connais pas. Elle ne me connaît pas. Nous nous tenons simplement ici. Mais si le Seigneur Dieu me révèle quelque chose comme je vous l’ai dit, vous avez promis, l’audience aussi, de croire qu’Il est ressuscité d’entre les morts et qu’Il est le même hier, aujourd’hui et éternellement.

Here's a drama. It's not a show by no means. God don't have to do this, but He promised He would do it. He didn't have to heal when Jesus come, but He promised He would do it that it might be fulfilled.
Now, here is a man and a woman meeting for their first time in life like it was in Saint John 4. I do not know her. She does not know me. We're just standing here. But if the Lord God will tell me something as I have said to you, you have promised and so has the audience to believe that He is risen from the dead and is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

La dame a été quelque part pour une consultation chez un médecin. Et la consultation, le docteur lui a conseillé une intervention chirurgicale. C’est une tumeur, et cette tumeur se trouve dans l’estomac. C’est une énorme tumeur. Et elle est sur le point de subir une intervention chirurgicale; elle aura lieu le mois prochain. C’est AINSI DIT LE SEIGNEUR. Croyez-vous? Ces choses sont-elles donc vraies, madame? Si elles le sont, faites signe de la main à l’intention de l’assistance.
Eh bien, vous direz: «Ça a peut-être été deviné.» Parlons-lui juste un peu plus. Peut-être, maintenant que le Saint-Esprit est en train d’oindre...
| E-47 If the audience still hears to my voice, I am very thankful to the Lord. The picture that you have of the Angel of the Lord, that Light stands right here between me and the woman.
The lady has been somewhere to an examination for a doctor. And the examination, the doctor has advised an operation. That's a tumor and the tumor is located in the stomach. It's enormous tumor. And she's up for an operation to take place this next month. That's THUS SAITH THE LORD. Do you believe? Are those things now true, lady? If they are, wave your hand to the audience.
Now, you say, "That could've been a guess." Let us speak to her just a little further. Maybe now, that the Holy Spirit is anoint...

E-48 Combien ont vu la photo de l’Ange du Seigneur, cette photo qui est suspendue là à Washington D.C.? On en a ici dans le livre et aussi... C’est ce qui se passe maintenant même. Voyez-vous? C’est la Colonne de Feu qui avait conduit les enfants d’Israël. Ce n’est pas moi, pas plus que ce n’était Moïse. Et quand Il était sur la terre, Il a dit (Il s’est manifesté, cette même Colonne de Feu;) en effet, Il a dit: «JE... Avant qu’Abraham fût, JE SUIS.» Est-ce vrai? C’est quand Il avait parlé à Moïse dans le buisson ardent. Il a dit: «Je suis venu de Dieu et Je retourne à Dieu.» Est-ce vrai? Eh bien, s’Il est retourné à ce qu’Il était avant de devenir chair, Il est redevenu la Colonne de Feu. Est-ce vrai?
Quand Paul L’a rencontré sur le chemin de Damas, qu’était-Il? Il était redevenu la Colonne de Feu, une Lumière qui a crevé les yeux de Paul, dans Sa Présence, alors qu’il marchait. C’était Lui.
Jésus a dit: «Comme le Père M’a envoyé, Moi aussi, Je vous envoie.» Le Père qui L’a envoyé allait avec Lui et Il était en Lui. Le Christ qui envoie Son disciple va avec lui et Il est en Lui. Ce ne sont pas les disciples, mais le Christ, «Non pas Moi, mais Mon Père qui demeure en Moi.» C’est ce qu’Il a dit.
| E-48 How many have seen the picture of the Angel of the Lord, that picture that's hanging yonder in Washington, D. C.? They have it here in the book and also... That's what's taking place just now. See? It's the Pillar of Fire that led the children of Israel. Not me, no more than it was Moses. And when He was on earth, He said--He was manifested, this same Pillar of Fire, 'cause He said, "I--before Abraham was, I AM." Is that right? That was when He talked to Moses in the burning bush. He said, "I came from God, and I go to God." Is that right? Well, if He went back to where He was before He came flesh, He went back to the Pillar of Fire. Is that right?
When Paul met Him on the road to Damascus, what was He? Back to a Pillar of Fire, a Light that put Paul's eyes out in His Presence as He walked. It's Him.
Jesus said, "As the Father has sent Me, so send I you." The Father that sent Him, went with Him and was in Him. The Christ that sends His disciple goes with him and is in him. Not the disciples, but the Christ, "Not me, but My Father that dwelleth in Me." He said.

E-49 Voyons donc, peu importe ce que c’était, je ne sais pas ce qui a été dit, parce que c’est une–c’est une vision. Les jeunes gens ici, qui s’occupent de l’enregistrement, ont cela, ce qui a été dit. Vérifiez cela. Voyez si c’est vrai. Eh bien, peu importe ce que c’était, cela était vrai; n’est-ce pas vrai, madame? Eh bien, veuillez bien être respectueux, un moment. Voyons s’Il nous dira quelque chose; cela débarrassera donc les gens de la peur (Voyez-vous?) ou des pensées.
Oui, je vois un médecin consulter la femme. C’est vrai. Je vois un homme apparaître. Cet homme, cette femme a à coeur de prier pour lui. Elle prie pour cet homme. Et cet homme souffre de quelque chose qui le rend infirme. Il–il s’agit de l’arthrite. Cet homme souffre de l’arthrite. C’est vrai. Et cet homme, s’il se tient debout maintenant par une vision dans la Présence, il a un fardeau sur le coeur, et c’est pour le salut de sa fille. C’est tout à fait vrai, AINSI DIT LE SEIGNEUR.
Croyez-vous? Qu’il vous soit fait selon votre foi. Que Dieu vous bénisse. Retournez, et que la paix de Dieu repose sur vous. L’assistance croit-elle? Ayez donc foi en Dieu. Soyez vraiment respectueux pendant quelques instants.

Yes, I see a doctor looking at the woman. That's right. I see a man appear. It's a man that this woman has on her heart to pray for. And she's been praying for this man. And this man suffers with something that's crippling. It--it's arthritis. The man has arthritis. That is right. And that man, if he's standing in now by vision in the Presence, he has a burden on his heart and that's for the salvation of his daughter. It's exactly right, THUS SAITH THE LORD.
Do you believe? As you have believed, so will it be to you. God bless you. Go and God's peace rest on you. Does the audience believe? Have faith now in God. Just be real reverent for a few moments.

Voici la dame assise ici même. Elle a subi une intervention chirurgicale. Elle est assise là au bout de la rangée, elle a été opérée, et la maladie continue à échapper à l’intervention chirurgicale qu’elle a subie. C’était vous, n’est-ce pas? Très bien. Poursuivez votre chemin. Cela va donc s’arrêter. Vous serez rétablie. Votre foi vous a guérie...?...

I seen an operation. Someone with an operation. Where is the lady that's healed just a few moments ago? Was it... Is she in the audience? Where did she go to? Ô Seigneur Dieu, nous défions maintenant le diable, pour son bluff, nous ôtons sa main. Satan, tu as retenu ces gens tant que tu le pouvais. Ils se sont imposés les mains comme des croyants en Dieu qui est toujours vivant. Je t’adjure, Satan, par la commission de l’Ange de Dieu, par la Bible, par le Saint-Esprit, de sortir de chaque personne ici présente et de la laisser partir libérée du péché, de la maladie, des chaînes, des affections, des afflictions.
