E-1 Inclinons la tête juste un moment. Dieu bien-aimé, quand nous entendons ce chant: «Jésus est là, tout est possible», cela fait frémir nos coeurs de savoir que c’est plus qu’une chanson. C’est la Vérité. Tu es ici. Seigneur, je crois que tout à l’heure, Tu étais également à l’arrière du Tabernacle où étaient cette petite mère portant un petit bébé bien trempé sous la pluie, ainsi que ce jeune homme qui intercédait pour sa bien-aimée qui se trouve là au loin, dans un hôpital, mourante... Ecoute nos prières, Seigneur. Il y a des gens qui sont restés assis dans cette église toute la journée, depuis six heures du matin. Ils s’attendent à Te voir, Seigneur. Ils nous ont entendus dire aujourd’hui que Tu es ressuscité des morts. Et Tu es le même Jésus, toujours vivant ce soir après mille neuf cents ans. Tu es toujours Jésus. Et nous prions, ô Dieu, de guérir chaque malade qui est dans la Présence divine. Qu’il n’y ait aucune personne faible parmi nous quand ce service sera terminé. Montre-nous simplement, Seigneur, que Tu es ici.
| E-1 Let us bow our heads just a moment. Dear God, when we hear that song, “Jesus is near, and all things are possible,” it thrills our hearts to know that that is more than a song. It’s the Truth. You are here. Lord, I believe You were just behind the tabernacle just, now, also; that little mother holding that little baby, soaking wet, in the rain; and that young man calling for his loved one, way yonder in the hospital, dying. Hear our prayers, Lord. There is people set in this church all day long, since six o’clock this morning. They’re waiting to see You, Lord. They’ve heard us talk today that You raised from the dead. And You’re the same Jesus still living tonight, after nineteen hundred years. You are still Jesus. And we pray, God, that You will heal every sick person that’s in Divine Presence. May there not be a feeble person in our midst when this service is over. Just show us, Lord, that You’re here. |

E-2 Nous pensons à ces deux hommes qui, en ce matin-là de Pâques, étaient sans doute découragés. Et ici ce soir, beaucoup sont découragés, des malades qui ne peuvent pas être guéris et que les médecins ont abandonnés. Et pendant qu’ils étaient en route, un Etranger a surgi et S’est entretenu avec eux, ils se sont entretenus sur les Ecritures le reste de la journée. Et le soir, quand Il les a réunis dans la maison et qu’Il a fermé la porte, Il a fait quelque chose. Il l’a fait exactement tel qu’Il l’avait fait avant la crucifixion, et ils ont su alors que c’était le Seigneur ressuscité. Et Il a disparu de devant eux. Ils sont vite rentrés en courant annoncer aux autres qu’Il est ressuscité des morts.
| E-2 We’re thinking of two men on that Easter morning, who was discouraged, no doubt. But many here are discouraged tonight, sick and can’t get well, doctors have give them up. And as they went on their road, there was a Stranger Who walked out and talked with them, talked about the Scriptures, the rest of the day. And at nighttime, when He got them in the room and shut the door, He done something. He did it just the way He did it before the crucifixion, and they knew that that was the risen Lord. He vanished out of their sight. They run quickly, back to tell others, “He’s risen from the dead.” |

E-3 Seigneur, nous prions qu’Il vienne au milieu de nous ce soir et qu’Il fasse les choses qu’Il avait faites avant Sa crucifixion. Mille neuf cents ans ne représentent rien devant Lui; Il est éternel. Et ce soir, que beaucoup retournent en toute hâte chez eux pour aller dire à leurs épouses, leurs maris, leurs bien-aimés, leurs voisins: «Il vit; Il m’est apparu ce soir, Il a guéri ma maladie; je vais être en bonne santé maintenant.» Accorde-le, Père. | E-3 God, we pray that He’ll come in our midst tonight and do the things that He did before His crucifixion. Nineteen hundred years is nothing to Him; He’s Eternal. And may many here tonight rush home quickly, telling their wife, their husband, their loved ones, their neighbor, “He lives! He appeared to me tonight! He healed my sickness! I’m going to be well now.” Grant this, Father. We ask it in Jesus’ Name. Amen. (You may be seated.) |

E-4 Je regrette que je sois enroué, mais j’étais très occupé à prêcher, à baptiser; pour commencer, j’ai la grippe depuis que je suis revenu de la Floride et des îles. | E-4 I’m sorry that I got hoarse, but I’ve just been so busy seeking, baptizing; had the flu, to start with, since I come back from down in Florida and over in the island. I have to leave in the morning now, for California, for nearly a solid month of meetings. So I asked Brother Neville if he would speak for me tonight, and I’m sure you’ve heard a wonderful message. We enjoyed that morning service, and Brother Neville. And we are trusting that God will continue to be with him and this church, as he pastors here. |

| E-6 I said, “Well, I’m glad that our services are drawing close to the end, so you won’t have to stand.” And it’s raining. And when I come in the building, a little couple was getting out of the car out there, with a little sick baby. They was soaking wet. She couldn’t even get in the door. But as certain as I’m standing here, God healed that baby just right then. That’s right. How He answers prayer! |
E-7 Et maintenant, après que nous avons prêché aujourd’hui... et ce matin j’ai prêché sur cinq mots: Vivant, mourant, enseveli, ressuscité et revenant.
Vivant, Il m’a aimé. Mourant, Il m’a sauvé.
Enseveli, Il a emporté mes péchés au loin.
Ressuscitant, Il m’a justifié gratuitement pour toujours.
Un jour Il viendra, oh! Quel jour glorieux!
Ce soir, nous sommes [là], veillant, attendant Son Apparition.
| E-7 And now after we have preached today, and this morning I preached on five subjects: Living, Dying, Buried, Rising, Coming.
Living, He loved me. Dying, He saved me.
Buried, He carried my sins far away.
Rising, He justified freely forever.
Someday He’s coming, oh, glorious day!
We set, watching tonight, waiting for His appearing. |

E-8 Pourquoi sommes-nous entassés ici dans cette salle? Pourquoi les gens viennent-ils entendre l’Evangile? Pourtant, dans sa simplicité, Il reste la plus grande attraction que le monde ait jamais connue. Jésus a dit: «Quand j’aurai été élevé, j’attirerais tous les hommes à moi.» Maintenant, la question est celle-ci: cette religion dont nous parlons est-elle vraie? Est-elle la vérité? Si elle est la vérité, nous pouvons alors croire toute parole qui vient de la Bible. Si elle n’est pas la vérité, nous ne devrions rien avoir à faire avec elle; nous devrions simplement continuer dans nos péchés; «mangeons et buvons, car demain nous mourons.» Mais je suis si reconnaissant de savoir que ce dont nous parlons, c’est la vérité. Et c’est la seule religion au monde... Cependant... Quoi qu’elle occupe la quatrième place en ce qui concerne le nombre [d’adeptes], cependant elle est la seule religion au monde dont le Fondateur a pu mourir, ressusciter; et Il est vivant ce soir.
| E-8 Why are we jammed in here? Why does people come to hear the Gospel? Yet, in Its simplicity, It’s the greatest drawing card the world has ever had. Jesus said, “If I be lifted up, I’ll draw all men unto Me.” Now the thing is, is this religion we talk about, is it real? Is it the Truth? If it is the Truth, then we can believe every Word the Bible said. If it isn’t the Truth, we should have nothing to do with it, we should just go on in our sin; eat, drink, for tomorrow we die. But I’m so thankful to know that This that we’re talking about is the Truth! And it’s the only religion in the world…Yet, fourth in number, yet it’s the only religion in the world that the Founder could die and rise again, and is living tonight. |

E-9 L’autre jour, j’ai lu dans un journal de cette ville, un article où il était question d’un homme, un Bouddha, qui serait ressuscité. Bon nombre d’entre vous ont lu cela dans le journal. Ils sont tombés sur un homme, un petit Bouddha, qui a connu une naissance semblable à celle de Bouddha, il n’a évidemment fait aucun miracle, mais son enseignement et tout étaient tout à fait comme ceux de Bouddha. Si Bouddha peut avoir un homme dans le champ, un faux, Dieu, Lui, a le Saint-Esprit dans le champ, le vrai Esprit de Dieu.
| E-9 I seen in the paper, here in the city paper the other day, where they got a man, a Buddha, had been raised up. Many of you saw that in the paper. They got a man that’s a little Buddha that was born the same just like Buddha did; course, he did no miracles, but his teaching and everything was just like Buddha. If Buddha has got a man on the field, a false one; God has got the Holy Ghost on the field, the real Spirit of God. |

E-10 Eh bien, nous parlons de ces merveilleuses choses, mais agiront- elles? Le Saint-Esprit va-t-Il... Le Saint-Esprit pardonnera-t-Il à un homme ses péchés? Le guérira-t-Il de sa maladie? Il le fera certainement. Il est Dieu à jamais. Maintenant, si nous pouvons... Si Jésus vient parmi nous et qu’Il prouve Lui-même qu’Il est vivant ici parmi nous ce soir, cela doit amener chacun de nous à croire chaque promesse que Dieu a faite dans la Bible.
| E-10 Now, we talk about these wonderful things, but will it work? Will the Holy…Will the Holy Spirit forgive a man his sins? Will He heal his sickness? Certainly, He will. He is God, forevermore. Now, if we can…If Jesus will come to our midst and will prove Hisself, that He is alive, here tonight among us, it ought to make every one of us believe every promise He’s got in the Bible. |

E-13 Je ne suis pas un guérisseur. Je ne crois pas–je ne crois pas qu’il y ait un homme qui soit un guérisseur. C’est Jésus Christ qui est le Guérisseur. Et Il avait dit, quand Il était ici sur terre, que Dieu était le Guérisseur. Eh bien, quand Il était ici sur terre, Il ne prétendait pas être un guérisseur, mais Il avait montré aux gens Son signe de Messie, et ce signe de Messie consistait à connaître les secrets de coeurs des gens. Combien savent que c’est vrai?
| E-13 And He said, when He was here on earth, that God was the Healer. Now, when He was here on earth, He did not claim to be a Healer, but He showed to the people His Messiahic sign, and that Messiahic sign was to know the secret of their heart. How many knows that’s true? |

E-14 Quand Il a dit à Pierre, pendant que celui-ci s’est présenté devant Lui, quel était son nom, quel était le nom de son père, Pierre a cru d’une façon et avec une foi telle que plus tard, Jésus lui a donné les clefs du Royaume, et l’a établi à la tête de l’Eglise.
| E-14 When He told Peter, when he come before Him, what his name was, what his father’s name was; Peter believed in such a way, with such a faith, that Jesus give him the keys to the Kingdom, later, and put him over the Church. |

E-15 Quand Philippe a trouvé Nathanaël sous l’arbre, il lui a dit: «Viens et vois qui j’ai trouvé, Jésus de Nazareth, le fils de Joseph.»

E-16 Et ce religieux loyal a dit: «Peut-il sortir quelque chose de bon de Nazareth?»
| E-16 And that staunch religionist said, “Could there be any good thing come out of Nazareth?” |

E-17 Il lui a donné la meilleure réponse que n’importe qui pourrait donner. Il lui a dit: «Viens et vois. Ne te contente pas de critiquer cela. Viens voir de toi-même.»
| E-17 He gave him the best answer that any man could give. He said, “Come and see. Don’t just criticize it. Come, look for yourself.” |

E-18 Et dès que Philippe est arrivé, accompagné de Nathanaël, Jésus a dit à ce dernier: «Voici un Israélite dans lequel il n’y a point de fraude.» Il a demandé: «D’où me connais-tu, Rabbi?» Jésus a répondu: «Avant que Philippe t’appelât, je t’ai vu sous l’arbre.» Il a dit: «Tu es le Fils de Dieu, le Roi d’Israël.»
| E-18 And as soon as Philip come up with Nathanael, Jesus said to him, “Behold an Israelite, in whom there is no guile!”
He said, “When did You know me, Rabbi?”
He said, “Before Philip called you, I saw you under the tree.”
He said, “You’re the Son of God, the King of Israel.” |
E-19 Il a révélé à la femme au puits ce qui était dans son coeur. Ces choses ont prouvé qu’Il était le Messie.
Et si ce Messie est ressuscité des morts aujourd’hui, qu’Il a fait l’expiation, qu’Il nous a guéri de nos maladies, et qu’Il nous a pardonné nos péchés, alors la seule chose qu’Il peut faire, c’est de montrer encore ce même signe comme quoi Il est toujours vivant pour rendre valable n’importe quelle promesse qu’Il a faite... Est-ce vrai? Croyons cela maintenant pendant que nous prions.
| E-19 He told the woman at the well what was in her heart. These things proved that He was the Messiah. And if that Messiah is risen from the dead today, and has made the atonement, and healed our sickness and forgive our sins, then the only thing He could do was show that same sign back again, that He is still alive to make any promise that He made, good. Is that true? [Congregation says, “Amen. That’s right.”—Ed.] Let us believe that now while we pray. |

E-20 Seigneur, les gens attendent. Une parole de Ta part vaudra plus que ce que le frère Neville ou moi pourrions dire dans toutes nos vies [s’il nous était donné de vivre plusieurs fois]; une seule parole. Seigneur Dieu, Créateur des cieux et de la terre, envoie dans cette salle, la puissance de Jésus-Christ, le Ressuscité, le Saint-Esprit qui était descendu à la Pentecôte, afin qu’Il puisse vraiment oindre les gens. Que je puisse, malgré mon enrouement, m’abandonner si complètement à Son Saint- Esprit, qu’Il puisse parler par cette voix rauque que je Lui offre, voir par ces yeux que je Lui offre pour qu’Il montre des visions et des choses qui amèneront les gens à voir qu’Il est ressuscité des morts. Et quand ces gens verront cela, que tout l’auditoire puisse s’emparer de chaque promesse qu’Il a faite. Et s’ils ont commis des péchés, puissent-ils L’accepter pour être pardonnés. S’ils sont malades, qu’ils sachent que par Ses meurtrissures nous avons déjà été guéris. Accorde-le, Seigneur. Nous le demandons au Nom de Jésus. Amen.
| E-20 Lord, the people are waiting. One word from You will be, more than Brother Neville or I could say in many lifetimes. Just one word. Now, there is half of this audience that’s never seen the meetings before. Lord God, Creator of Heavens and earth, send the Power of Jesus Christ into this room, the resurrected One, the Holy Spirit that came on Pentecost, and may He so anoint the people. May I be able, even in this hoarseness, to yield myself so completely to His Spirit, that He could speak through this broken voice that I offer to Him, look through these eyes that I offer to Him, to show visions and things that would make the people see that He’s raised from the dead. And when this people sees that, may the entire audience embrace every promise that He made. If they have sinned, may they embrace Him for forgiveness. If they have sickness, may they know that by His stripes we are healed. Grant it, Lord. We ask it in Jesus’ Name. Amen. |

E-21 Maintenant, c’est la grande confrontation. La chose est simple quand il s’agit de se tenir devant deux ou trois cents personnes. | E-21 Now is the great showdown. Here before two or three hundred people, it’s simple. When, you stand before five hundred thousand, a half a million, same things take place. He is God. Now how many in here is sick and wants to be prayed for, raise your hand. See, about half of you, or more. I can’t bring them all up here. I think I’ll have to ask Billy again, ask him if he give out prayer cards. Now, did—did he do it? [Someone says, “Yes.”—Ed.] All right. All right. |

E-22 Le dimanche passé ou la fois passée quand j’étais ici, on n’avait distribué aucune carte de prière, et j’ai simplement demandé: «Combien y en a -t- il ici qui n’ont jamais assisté à une de mes réunions auparavant?» Beaucoup ont levé la main, comme quoi ils n’avaient jamais assisté à une de mes réunions. Pendant qu’ils étaient debout avec leurs mains levées, le Saint-Esprit allait ça et là leur disant qui ils étaient, quelles étaient leurs maladies, ce qui s’était passé, et Il guérissait complètement les gens au point que des tumeurs et autres disparaissaient et que les gens n’avaient plus à subir des opérations chirurgicales. Combien étaient ici et ont vu cela, il y a quelques semaines?
| E-22 Last Sunday or last time I was here, they didn’t give out any prayer cards, and I just asked, “How many people here has never been in the meeting before?” Many raised up their hand, that they never been in the meeting. While they stood with their hands up, the Holy Spirit went around telling them who they were and what their diseases was, and what had taken place; and healed the people so completely, till tumors and things disappeared, till operations could not be performed. How many was here to see that just a few weeks ago? |

E-23 S’il a distribué les cartes de prière, alors nous allons procéder à l’appel. | E-23 If he has give out prayer cards, then we’ll call. That gives home people, and not home people; people who has been in the meeting, people who has not; to come in the prayer line. We can’t take them all up here at once. We’ll bring them just quietly as we can. |

E-24 Et je veux que vous soyez honnêtes envers Dieu. Soyez honnêtes envers vous-mêmes. Et si Jésus vient parmi nous et qu’il accomplisse et fasse ce qu’Il avait fait quand Il était ici sur la terre, quand Il marchait en Galilée, vous devez L’accepter pour tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Vous n’avez pas besoin de monter ici à l’estrade. Il considère la foi. Il y aura ici des gens qui seront guéris de toute façon, des gens qui sont malades là dans l’assistance, et qui n’ont même pas de carte de prière. Combien sont malades et n’ont pas de carte de prière? Levez la main. Bien, on n’a donc pas distribué beaucoup de cartes. Voyez? Bien, croyez tout simplement. Regardez juste dans cette direction.
| E-24 And I want you to be honest with God. Be honest with yourself. And if Jesus Christ will come into our midst and perform and do just as He did when He was here on earth, walking in Galilee, you ought to accept Him for anything that you have need of. You don’t have to be up here on the platform. He regards faith. There will be some people here that is sick out there in the audience, that hasn’t even got a prayer card, they’ll be healed anyhow. How many is sick and doesn’t have a prayer card? Raise up your hand. Well, there is not too many prayer cards give out then, see. All right, you just believe. Just look this a-way. |
E-25 Permettez-moi de vous montrer ce que Jésus a fait quand Il était ici sur terre. Une fois, une femme s’est approchée de Lui et elle ne pouvait pas entrer dans la foule. Et elle a touché Son vêtement, et s’est faufilée dans une foule probablement plusieurs fois plus grande que celle-ci. Jésus s’est retourné, et a demandé: «Qui m’a touché?»
| E-25 Let me show you what Jesus did when. He was here on earth. There was a woman, one time, came to Him. And she could not get into the press. She had no prayer card, but she touched the border of His garment, for she said in her heart, “I know that Man tells the Truth. If I can touch His garment, I’ll be made well.” And she touched His garment, went out in the audience probably many times bigger than this.
Jesus turned, and said, “Who touched Me?” |
E-26 Pierre L’a même repris, disant: «Comment peux-Tu poser une telle question, quand tous essayent de Te toucher?»

| E-26 Peter even rebuked Him, and said, “Why would You ask such a thing, when all is trying to touch You?”
He said, “But I perceive that I’ve gotten weak.” |

E-27 Les visions affaiblissent. Vous ne pouvez faire... aller plus loin avec. Et Il a demandé... Il a parcouru l’assistance du regard jusqu’à ce qu’Il a trouvé la femme; et Il lui a dit qu’elle avait une perte de sang, et que sa foi l’avait guérie.
| E-27 Visions cause weakness. You can’t do, go too far, now. And He said, looked around over the audience till He found the woman, and told her that she had had a blood issue, and her faith had made her well. |

E-28 Combien savent cela? La Bible dit que Jésus-Christ est aujourd’hui le Souverain Sacrificateur qui peut être touché par le sentiment de nos infirmités. Est-ce exact? Bien, s’Il était le Souverain Sacrificateur qui pourrait être touché par le sentiment de nos infirmités, n’agirait-Il pas comme Il l’a fait autrefois, s’Il est le même hier, aujourd’hui, et éternellement?
| E-28 How many know that? [Congregation says, “Amen.”—Ed.] The Bible said that, “Jesus Christ today is the High. Priest that can be touched by the feeling of our infirmities.” Is, that right? [“Amen.”] Well, if He was the High Priest, and could be touched by the feeling of our infirmities, wouldn’t He act just like He did then, if He’s the same yesterday, today, and forever? |

E-29 Ensuite, vous qui n’avez pas de carte de prière, regardez par ici, et dites dans votre coeur: «Seigneur, je crois de tout mon coeur, et je crois que Tu vas me guérir. Laisse-moi toucher Ton vêtement. Parle au travers de frère Branham et révèle-lui les choses comme Tu l’avais fait pour cette femme, et je croirai en Toi.» Voulez-vous être autant honnête et croire en Dieu de tout votre coeur?
| E-29 Then you that don’t have a prayer card, you look this way, and say in your heart, “Lord, I believe with all my heart, and I believe that You are going to heal me. And let me touch Your garment. And You speak through Brother Branham and tell him, just like You did the woman, and I’ll believe You.” Will you be that honest, and believe God with all your heart? |

But,” said, “when Brother Branham come, he didn’t even ask for a penny of money, never asked us to pay his hotel bill. And he paid his own fare, back and forth.” What did it? Your money. I want to be sure that I spend it right. So, at the Judgment Bar, when I stand before you and God, have to give an account for it, it’s done right. I took it myself, as long as I’m able to go, to do the best I can for His glory. |

| E-60 And here stands an Ethiopian woman to an Anglo-Saxon man, first time in life meeting; what we call a colored woman, white man. When that question was raised there, in the segregation, before Jesus, He let them know real quick, there is no difference in people’s colors. We all come from one tree, Adam and Eve. Exactly. The countries we lived in, it changed our color; had nothing to do with it. God died for all creatures: the white man, the black man, the yellow man, the brown man, the red man, and all. They’re all creatures of God. |
