E-1 Nous avons bien sûr passé des moments si merveilleux cette semaine. Ça a été une grande semaine de bénédictions pour moi. Et je suis sûr qu'elle l'a été aussi pour vous, pour beaucoup d'entre vous ici. Plusieurs ont reçu le Saint-Esprit, et c'était notre but dans cette série de réunions.
La raison pour laquelle nous ne l'avons pas annoncé là à l'extérieur, c'est parce qu'il n'y a pas de - de place où installer les gens. Voyez? Simplement nous... Soirée après soirée, les gens s'en vont tout simplement. Ce sont nos gens de la place, et nous n'avons annoncé cela qu'ici parmi les nôtres.
Et quant à la contribution maintenant même en rapport avec les paniers, cela concernait nos gens d'ici, comment... C'est une affaire de notre église. Ceci est notre école ordinaire du dimanche. Voyez? Et les gens... Evidemment, si quelqu'un voulait apporter de l'aide dans ce sens-là, nous sommes - nous sommes certains que cela parvient aux nécessiteux. Nous avons dans cette ville des familles qui n'ont rien, qui n'auront rien pour Noël. Elles comptent sur cette église. Et ce faisant, de la sorte, eh bien, elles vont... Cela sera utilisé à cette fin. Le... Que l'un des diacres leur dise simplement à qui c'est destiné, sinon ma soeur là derrière prendra cela.
| E-1 'Course we've had such a wonderful time this week. This has been a great week of blessings for me. And I'm sure it has for you also, many of you here. Many has received the Holy Ghost, and that was our purpose in this meeting.
The reason we didn't advertise it way out, was on the account of--of no place to put the people. See? We just... Night after night, the people just go away. That's our local people, and we just mentioned among our folks here.
And about the contribution just now for the baskets, that was meant for our local people, how... That's our church thing. This is our regular Sunday school. See? And they... 'Course, if anyone wanted to help in that manner, we are--we'd be sure that it's taken to the needy. We have families in this city that don't have nothing, won't have nothing for Christmas. They're depending on this church. And so, that way, why, they'll... It'll go for that purpose. The... One of the deacons, just tell them what it's for, or my sister back there will take it.

E-2 Eh bien, j'ai appris qu'on a déjà eu le service de baptême ce matin. Ils m'ont en quelque sorte devancé, n'est-ce pas? Bon, alors nous en aurons un autre ce soir. Et ainsi nous en aurons deux. Nous pensons donc au moins que la piscine sera remplie. Car aussitôt après la réunion de ce soir, il y aura un autre service de baptême. Et certains ont dit qu'il faudrait qu'ils soient baptisés. Ainsi, Billy a couru il y a quelques minutes et m'a parlé, disant: "Ne viens pas tout de suite, parce que frère Neville doit d'abord baptiser. " Et il a dit qu'il y avait beaucoup de gens là qui devaient partir aussitôt. Et ils n'étaient pas sûrs que nous allions avoir le baptême ce matin.
Rappelez-vous, cette piscine est toujours ouverte, toujours, n'importe quand, à n'importe quelle heure de la journée ou de la nuit, prête pour le baptême. D'autres ministres viennent ici et se servent de cette piscine pour baptiser. Nous en sommes donc très heureux.
| E-2 Now, I hear we've already had baptismal service this morning. They kindy beat me to that, didn't they? Well, then we'll just have another one tonight. And so, and have two of them. So we suppose, at least the pool will be filled. For immediately after the service tonight, there will be another baptismal service. And some of them, they said, would have to be baptized. So Billy run up a few minutes ago and told me, said, "Don't come right away, because that Brother Neville had to baptize first." And said there were many people there who had to go right away. And they wasn't sure we was going to have baptism this morning.
Remember, this pool is always open, always, anytime, any hour of the day or night, ready for baptism. Other ministers come in here use this pool to baptize in. So we're very glad of that.

E-3 Il y a quelque temps, l'église méthodiste Park... J'étais là-bas pour un - un service de... pour prêcher. Et cet aimable frère a dit: "Je suis allé l'autre jour chez frère Branham pour utiliser ce - ce... Comment appelle-t-on ça?"
J'ai dit que c'est difficile pour un méthodiste de dire " baptistère ". Ils avaient là un petit bassin dont ils se servent pour faire l'aspersion, vous savez, juste une petite histoire placée là. J'ai dit: "Baptistère, c'est un mot trop difficile pour un méthodiste. " C'est ce que j'ai dit.
Il a dit: "Nous voudrions en avoir un par ici. Je crois plutôt en cela."
Rappelez-vous donc, les méthodistes, les baptistes, les presbytériens, quiconque veut l'utiliser, le voilà. C'est ouvert, l'eau est gratuite.
Et nous avons un petit tube, un petit tube chauffant que nous plongeons là-dedans pour essayer de chauffer l'eau. Mais je vous assure que maintenant cela ne chauffe pas l'eau. C'est l'eau la plus froide que j'aie jamais touchée de ma vie. Et bien des fois, j'ai eu à baptiser à des endroits où je devais briser la glace du ruisseau à coups de pied comme cela pour baptiser les gens, et puis rentrer à la maison, essayer d'aller là où je devais rester... me changer. Et les habits que je portais gelaient, pendant que je marchais. C'est à peine si je pouvais faire des pas; les jambes de mon pantalon étaient raides quand je faisais des pas. Et il ne faisait pas aussi froid que ça. C'est l'eau la plus froide que j'aie jamais vue de ma vie. Et je n'ai jamais vu une eau comme cela. Frère Kelly, ça me gèle presque à mort chaque fois que j'y entre. Ainsi, après... C'est juste. Quand vous vous sentez bien... Soeur Kelly dit que lorsque vous vous sentez bien, ce n'est pas le cas.
| E-3 Here some time ago, the Park Methodist church; I was over there for a--a service of--preaching service. And the lovely brother said, "I was over to Brother Branham's the other day to use that--that... What is it you call that thing?"
I said it'd be hard for a Methodist to say "baptistery." They had a little bowl there that they sprinkle in, you know, just a little thing setting on. I said, "It's too hard a word for a Methodist to say 'baptistery.'" I said that.
He said, "We'd like to have one of them around here. I kinda believe in that."
So remember, the Methodist, the Baptists, the Presbyterian, anybody that wants to use it, there it is. It's open, water's freely.
And we got a little stick, of a little hot-stick we put in there to try to warm it. But I'm telling you now; it doesn't warm it. That's the coldest water I ever felt in my life. And I baptized many times where I'd have to take my foot and kick the ice up the creek, like that, to baptize them, and then walk home, try to walk to where I had to stay--to change my clothes. And my clothes would freeze on me, walking. I just could hardly make my steps; my pants legs was just solid making my steps. And it wasn't as cold as this. That's the coldest water I ever seen in my life. I just never seen any water like that. Brother Kelly, it'd almost freeze me to death every time I get in there. So after... That's right. When you're feeling good... Sister Kelly says when you're feeling good, it don't.

E-4 Nous sommes heureux pour ce joyeux groupe qui est un mélange des gens venant de toutes les différentes sortes de dénominations. C'est simplement un rassemblement des enfants de Dieu. Il y a ici des gens qui sont méthodistes, baptistes, nazaréens, pèlerins de la sainteté, catholiques, témoins de Jéhovah, de la science chrétienne, pentecôtistes, tous rassemblés, même un Juif. Que le Seigneur soit loué pour cela. Merci. Nous sommes très heureux pour le Juif. Oui, oui. N'eût été - n'eût été les Juifs, je ne sais pas où nous serions. C'est vrai. Eh bien, c'est très bien.
Il en sera ainsi au Ciel. C'est exact. C'est là au Ciel que des gens de toutes les différentes dénominations seront tous rassemblés, et c'est la raison pour laquelle nous serons assis ensemble dans les lieux célestes.
Eh bien, Doc, ça, c'était un peu de psychologie. Je le sais. Vous... Je n'étais pas assez près de ça.
| E-4 We're happy for this happy group of people mixed up here in all different kind of denominations. It's just God's children throwed together. There's people in here that's Methodist, Baptist, Nazarene, Pilgrim Holiness, Catholic, Jehovah Witness, Christian Science, Pentecostal, everything throwed together, even a Jew. Praise the Lord for that. Thank you. We're very happy for the Jew. Yes, sir. If it--if it hadn't been for the Jew, I don't know where we'd have been. That's right. Well, that's very fine.
That's the way heaven's going to be. Exactly. Where heaven's going to be all gathered of all different denominations, and that's the reason we're setting together in heavenly places.
Now, Doc, that was a bit of psychology. I know it was. You... I wasn't close enough to it.

E-5 Je suis juste un peu enroué ce matin. Je pense que ça va passer à la deuxième vitesse au bout d'un moment et démarrer, vous savez, dès que je vais commencer.
Eh bien, hier soir, j'ai encore reçu quelques questions relatives à la réunion. Le Seigneur voulant, j'y répondrais très vite ce soir avant que nous ayons le - le service habituel de prédication ce soir. Ainsi donc... Ne manquez pas de venir ce soir, si possible. Et, le Seigneur voulant, j'aimerais prêcher sur un sujet très vital pour clôturer le réveil, ce soir, autant que nous le sachions, à moins que le Saint-Esprit veuille conduire plus loin.

Now, I did have some questions come in last night pertaining yet to the meeting. If the Lord willing, I'll answer them real quick tonight before we have the--the regular preaching service tonight. And so... So be sure to come tonight, if you possibly can. And if the Lord willing, I want to preach on a very vital subject of the closing of the revival tonight, as far as we know unless the Holy Spirit would lead farther.

E-6 Beaucoup parmi vous, évidemment, devront rentrer chez eux aujourd'hui, ou après ce service, peut-être ce matin. Nous aimerions dire que nous vous apprécions beaucoup, et nous aimerions vous souhaiter un joyeux Noël, et les voeux les meilleurs pour le nouvel an. Que Dieu soit avec vous, qu'Il vous accorde de nouvelles choses, et plus de nouvelle vie que vous recherchez et dont vous avez faim. C'est ce que je fais moi-même: j'ai faim de plus de Dieu.
Il y a beaucoup de questions qui sont... J'en ai quelques-unes dans le bureau, qu'on venait de me remettre; et hier soir, un frère a remis à mon fils quelques questions. Et je n'ai pas eu l'occasion de m'en occuper, parce que je les ai simplement plongées dans ma poche, et il faisait très tard. Et certaines d'entre elles se rapportent encore à Matth... ou plutôt à Hébreux 6.4.

We want to say we appreciate you so much, and we want to wish you a Merry Christmas, and the best of the New Year. God be with you, and give you new things, more of the new life that you're seeking and hungering for. That's what I'm doing myself, is hungering for more of God.
There's several of the questions is... I just got a few in the room just then they gave me, and some brother gave my son last night some questions. And I didn't get a chance to get to them, because I just stuck them in my pocket, and it was so late. And some of them pertain back again to that Math--or Hebrews 6:4.

E-7 Soeur Mammie vient de dire, il y a quelques minutes, qu'il y a... Elle est très heureuse de tomber dessus, car elle avait posé la même question il y a quelque temps. C'est quelque chose de très, très frappant. Mais je suis sûr que vous tous vous avez saisi cela, ce que c'était. J'espère. Il ne s'agit pas d'un chrétien qui est rempli de l'Esprit. Eh bien, si vous allez dans Hébreux 10, vous verrez que ce qui est dit là, c'est différent. Il parle donc du péché impardonnable pour le chrétien. Mais ceci, c'est... à celui qui est rempli. Mais celui-ci est quelqu'un qui est un croyant frontalier qui a juste goûté... On en a dans toutes les églises. Ils viennent simplement à l'église et... Oh! ils apprécient ce que le Seigneur fait, mais ils ne s'impliquent jamais dans la chose. Ils apprécient de voir quelqu'un être guéri, mais ils ne fournissent jamais d'effort pour aller prier pour les malades et faire des visites à l'hôpital, ou faire quelque chose de bien (voyez?), comme cela. On a vu cette catégorie-là. Ils ont goûté; ils ont vu.
| E-7 Sister Mammie just said a few minutes ago, there's a... She's so happy to get ahold of that, 'cause she had asked the same question some time ago. That's a very, very striking thing. But I'm sure all of you got it, what it was. I hope you did.
It is not a Christian that's filled with the Spirit. Now, if you'll go to Hebrews 10, you'll see that he said in there, it's different. Then he's talking the unpardonable sin to the Christian. But this is... to the filled person. But this is a person that's a borderline believer that's just tasted... We have them in all churches. Just come to church and... Oh, they appreciate what the Lord does, but they'll never move into it. They appreciate seeing someone healed, but they'll never make the effort of going out and praying for the sick and visiting the hospital, or doing something that's right (See?), like that. You seen them kind. They've tasted; they've seen.

E-8 C'est exactement comme je disais que Caïn est... Les Cananéens, ou plutôt les Israélites, lorsqu'ils s'approchaient de Canaan, ils étaient presque entrés. Ils sont arrivés là assez loin pour pouvoir goûter les fruits du pays, mais ils ont dit: "Oh! nous ne sommes - nous ne sommes pas capables. Nous - nous ne pouvons pas y arriver. " Mais Josué et Caleb étaient sûrs qu'ils en étaient capables, parce qu'ils avaient la promesse de Dieu.
Et c'est ce dont Paul essaye de parler, il fait allusion là à ceux qui s'étaient approchés de la chose, qui en étaient si proches, mais qui eux-mêmes n'ont pas voulu mettre la main dessus. Ils disent simplement: "Oh! je - je fréquente l'église, ces églises. Je fréquente une église de la sainteté, l'Eglise pentecôtiste. Je fréquente ceci."
"Mais avez-vous reçu le Saint-Esprit depuis que vous avez cru?"
"Oh! non, je ne L'ai pas encore reçu. " Voyez? Vous y êtes.
Mais un vrai croyant ne peut pas se reposer tant qu'il n'y est pas entré. Il lui faut absolument entrer là-dedans. Voyez? C'est pratiquement un - un frontalier. Voilà donc la personne dont parle Paul.
| E-8 Just like, I said that Cain's... Canaanites--or the Israelites when they was nearing Canaan, they went almost in. They went there far enough to get to taste the fruits out of the land, but they said, "Oh, we're--we're not able. We--We can't do it." But Joshua and Caleb knowed they could do it, because they had God's promise.
And that's what Paul's trying to speak of, refer back there to them that have come nigh unto it, so near, but they won't put their hand on it themselves. They just say, "Oh, I--I go to church, them churches. I go to--to a holiness church, Pentecostal church. I go to this."
"But have you received the Holy Ghost since you believed?"
"Oh, no, I haven't just yet did it." See? There you are.
But a real believer can't rest until he gets into it. He's just got to get out there in it. See? Just kind of a--a borderline, now, that's the person that Paul's speaking of.

E-9 Toutefois, maintenant ce matin, il s'agit d'un message évangélique ordinaire pour ce matin, le Seigneur voulant. Il m'a donné assez de voix. Je pense donc que ce sont là les annonces. Je n'en suis pas sûr, mais c'est ce que je pense, autant que je sache. Et frère Neville a fait le reste.
Et j'aimerais que vous le sachiez tous, si jamais vous passez par ici... Vous qui devez rentrer chez vous maintenant et qui ne pouvez pas rester pour le service du soir, j'aimerais que vous sachiez, si jamais vous passez par ici n'importe quand, que je souhaiterais vraiment que vous veniez écouter notre pasteur. Nous avons un véritable pasteur dans ce tabernacle, frère Orman Neville.
Je ne le dis pas parce qu'il est assis ici; je le connais depuis des années, et il n'a pas du tout changé. Il est toujours Orman Neville, un serviteur du Seigneur. Vous pouvez compter sur lui. C'est un prédicateur tout aussi loyal, fidèle, merveilleux...
| E-9 However, now this morning, it's a regular Gospel message for this morning, the Lord willing. He gave me enough voice. So I think that's the announcements. I'm not sure, but I think that is as far as I know. And Brother Neville has made the rest of them.
And I want you all to know, if you're ever by this way... You that have to go home now and can't stay for the evening service, I want you to know, if you're ever by here any time, I wish it so you'd come by and hear our pastor. We've got a real pastor at this Tabernacle, Brother Orman Neville.
I ain't saying that because he's setting here; I've knowed him for years, and he's never changed one bit. He's still Orman Neville, a servant of the Lord. You can depend on him. Just as loyal, faithful, a wonderful preacher...

E-10 J'étais assis là au fond. Et j'ai entendu des prédicateurs prêcher dans le monde entier, mais parfois lui, il prêche des choses qui m'étonnent simplement. Je vous assure, il vous emporte dans - dans ces petites choses qu'il utilise, cela... Je vous assure, chaque fois que je viens, j'apporte... chaque fois que je - chaque fois que je viens, je tire de son sermon environ quinze sujets que je note. En rentrant chez moi, je me dis: "Oh! la la! Cela ne ferait-il pas un message! Oh! la la! Cela ne ferait-il pas un message! " Et je note simplement cela...
Venez donc écouter notre frère Neville et vous associer à nos fidèles. Ce sont des gens pauvres, très pauvres, mais ils aiment le Seigneur. Et ils vous aimeront. Et nous sommes donc heureux que vous ayez été avec nous, et nous prions que Dieu vous bénisse.
Maintenant, inclinons la tête juste un instant avant que nous abordions la Parole.
| E-10 I've set back there. And I've heard preachers all over the world, preach, but sometimes he preaches things that just astounds me. I tell you, he just carries you off in--in those little things that he uses, that... I tell you, every time I come, I bring... I get about fifteen texts out of his sermon when I--when I come, writing it down. Going home, "Oh, my, wouldn't that make a message. Oh, my, wouldn't that make a message." And just write it down...
So come around and hear our Brother Neville, and associate with our people. They're poor people, real poor, but they love the Lord. And they'll love you. And so we're happy you were with us, and pray that God will bless you.
Now, let us bow our heads just a moment before we approach the Word.

E-11 Bienveillant Seigneur, nous nous approchons maintenant, tout aussi respectueusement que nous pouvons. Nous venons au Nom de Jésus, croyant que Tu nous as promis par Lui d'exaucer tout ce que nous Te demanderons en Son Nom. Et beaucoup qui étaient dans la confusion sur la Parole crient maintenant victoire en Jésus-Christ. Nous Te remercions pour ces choses.
Et nous prions, Seigneur, que ce jour soit une autre occasion où Tu visiteras Ton peuple. Et nous sommes assemblés ici, venant de toutes - de plusieurs différentes sortes, dirais-je, d'églises dénominationnelles. Certains ayant différentes croyances, peut-être étant amicalement en désaccord sur les Ecritures, mais sans que cela ne constitue du tout une quelconque barrière, même pour cette soeur juive qui a levé la main... Nous sommes rassemblés dans les lieux célestes en Jésus-Christ.
| E-11 Gracious Lord, we come now, just as reverent as we know how to come. We come in the Name of Jesus, believing that You have promised us through Him, that You would hear anything that we would ask You in His Name. And we pray, God, that You will make this a visitation to us here this morning.
We want to thank You from the depths of our heart, for what You have did for us this past week. Many sad hearts has been made happy. Many of the people has been made to rejoice. And many who were confused in the Word is now shouting the victory through Jesus Christ. We thank You for these things.
And we pray, Lord, that today will be another time that You'll visit with Your people. And we're assembled here of all--many different types, I would say, of denominational churches. Some with different beliefs of, maybe friendly disagreeing upon the Scriptures, but not having that to be any barrier at all, even to a Jewish sister raised her hand... We are assembled in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

E-12 Nous prions aujourd'hui que Ton Esprit soit de nouveau déversé sur nous. Accorde-nous un nouveau baptême ce matin, Seigneur, ou plutôt un nouveau remplissage. Et nous Te demandons de guérir les malades, les affligés, ceux qui sont dans le besoin. Voici un homme assis ici dans un fauteuil roulant. D'autres sont peut-être là dehors, souffrant de troubles cardiaques, d'autres du cancer. Ils se meurent, Seigneur, et les précieux médecins de notre pays ont fait le diagnostic de leurs maladies, et ils ont poussé leurs efforts aussi loin qu'ils le pouvaient, et peut-être par des interventions, mais ce démon ne lâche pas prise. Il est déterminé à leur ôter la vie. Et il est... Il se peut qu'ils coupent quelque part avec leurs bistouris, avec des mains tendres, pour essayer d'aider la personne, mais ce démon se glissera furtivement dans un autre petit coin, pour se manifester de nouveau. En effet, il est bien capable de se cacher aux yeux du médecin, mais, ô Dieu, il ne peut pas se cacher à Tes yeux. Tu sais exactement où il se trouve. Et par Ta Parole de foi et de puissance, il va devoir quitter. Et nous Te prions aujourd'hui, ô Dieu, de faire en sorte que chaque mauvaise chose quitte les gens, afin qu'ils aient une bonne santé et jouissent des bénédictions du Seigneur notre Dieu. Car nous le demandons au Nom de Jésus. Amen.
| E-12 We pray today that Your Spirit will be poured out afresh upon us. Give us a fresh baptism this morning, Lord, or a fresh filling. And we ask that You'll heal the sick, the afflicted, those that are needy. Here's a man setting here in a wheelchair. Others are out there, perhaps, with heart trouble, some with cancer. They're dying, Lord, and the precious doctors of our land has diagnosed their cases, and gone down into it as deep as they could, and maybe with operations, and still that devil holds on. He's determined to take their life. And he is... They may cut somewhere with their knife in tender hands to try to help that person, but that demon will slip off into another little corner, and there break forth again. For he's well able to hide from the doctor, but God, he can't hide from You. You know right where he's at. And with a Word of Your faith and power, he will have to move. And we pray Thee today, God, that You'll make every evil thing leave the people, that they might have health and enjoy the blessings of the Lord our God. For we ask it in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Maintenant, nous ne cherchons pas à dire que nous faisons ici de la guérison divine une chose principale, car la guérison divine est une chose secondaire. Et on ne peut pas du tout rendre principal ce qui est secondaire. Mais nous croyons que le ministère de Jésus-Christ, à quatre-vingt-six pour cent, c'était la guérison divine. Et le fait d'attirer l'attention des gens au moment de la guérison divine a amené les gens à comprendre qu'Il était Dieu. Et les gens...
Il a dit: " Si vous ne pouvez pas croire que Je Le suis, croyez alors les oeuvres que Je fais. Car, si Je ne fais pas les oeuvres de Mon Père, alors ne Me croyez pas. Mais si Je fais les oeuvres du Père, comme vous ne pouvez pas Me croire, croyez alors les oeuvres. "
| E-13 Now, there is many handkerchiefs laying here. And we will pray over them. And if you don't have one here and you wish one, why you just write us here to Post Office Box 325, and immediately we will send it right to you. That's found now in the Book of Hebrew--in the book of--of the Acts, the 19th chapter where we take handkerchiefs or aprons from the peoples to pray over them.
Let us turn this morning now in the Scriptures to the book of Isaiah the 1st chapter. Isaiah 1, while we read a portion of the Scripture. And while you're turning to this book to follow us in the reading, we are--want to speak something about the healing service coming up.
Now, we do not try to say that we make Divine healing here a major, because Divine healing is a minor. And you can never major on a minor. But we believe that Jesus Christ's ministry, eighty-six percent of it was Divine healing. And in catching the people's attention by Divine healing, brought the realization that He was God. And they...
He said, "If you can't believe Me to be that, then believe the works that I do. For, if I do not the works of My Father, then believe Me not. But if I do the works of the Father, and you can't believe Me, then believe the works."

E-14 Vous voyez, étant un Homme, Il s'est fait Dieu. Sur la croix, ou juste avant la croix, on Lui a dit: " Nous ne Te lapidons pas à cause d'une bonne oeuvre que Tu as faite, mais nous Te lapidons parce que, Toi qui es un Homme, Tu te fais Dieu. " Il était Dieu. Il L'était. Dieu était en Lui.
Et ainsi, Il a donc dit: " Si vous ne pouvez pas croire en Moi, croyez les oeuvres que Je fais. " Vous voyez, croyez simplement les oeuvres, car elles viennent de Dieu.
Ainsi donc, c'est pareil aujourd'hui. Aucun homme sur la terre n'est un dieu. Certainement pas. Nous sommes tous des êtres humains, nous sommes tous nés dans le péché, conçus dans l'iniquité, nous sommes venus au monde en proférant des mensonges. Mais, comme nous l'avons étudié très clairement cette semaine, nous avons montré que Dieu vivait autrefois au-dessus de Sa création, à cause du péché. Ensuite Il a vécu avec Sa création sous forme d'un Corps, Jésus-Christ; Il a dressé Sa tente parmi nous, Il a habité avec nous, Il s'est fait chair avec nous pour endurer le péché et la souffrance, l'agonie et les choses que nous endurons.
Ensuite Il a sanctifié une Eglise afin qu'Il puisse y demeurer. Ainsi, c'était Dieu au-dessus de nous, Dieu avec nous, Dieu en nous. Jésus a dit: " En ce jour-là, vous connaîtrez que Je suis dans le Père, que le Père est en Moi, et que Je suis en vous, et que vous êtes en Moi. " Il y a... Vous voyez là, c'est Dieu qui agit à travers [l'homme]. Ainsi, quand une personne s'est tout à fait abandonnée au Saint-Esprit et qu'elle parle, ce n'est pas cette personne qui parle. Je le sais par expérience.
| E-14 See, as a man, He made Himself God. On the cross, or just before the cross, they said to Him, "We do not stone Thee for a good work that you've done, but we stone Thee, because You're a man making Yourself God." He was God. He was. God was in Him.
And so, then He said, "If you can't believe Me, believe the works that I do." See, just believe the works, that they're of God.
Well now, the same thing is today. There's no man on earth is a god. Certainly not. We're all human beings, every one borned in sin, shaped in iniquity, come to the world speaking lies. But as we've been through it so plainly this week, to show that God once lived above His creature, because of sin. Then He lived with His creature in the form of a body, Jesus Christ, put His tent with us, dwelt with us, made flesh with us, to suffer sin and pains, agony and things that we do.
Then He sanctified a Church that He might dwell in. So it was God above us, God with us, God in us. Jesus said, "At that day you'll know that I'm in the Father; the Father's in Me, and I in you, and you in Me." There's... You see there, it's God working through. So when a person is so completely yielded to the Holy Spirit and speaking; it is not the person speaking. I know that by experience.

E-15 Dans ma petite expérience avec Christ, j'ai vu des moments où - où Il m'a permis de m'abandonner à Lui au point où je ne savais pas ce que je disais. Pour rien au monde je n'aurais dit cela, mais Lui l'a dit.
Hattie est assise là au fond, la dame en question. L'autre jour, alors que ce nouveau ministère, lequel, j'espère, se manifestera ce matin... Et vous tous, vous en avez entendu parler. Et quand nous étions assis là (et au moins huit ou dix personnes qui sont ici maintenant étaient là à ce moment-là) et que le Saint-Esprit s'est tourné vers cette femme et lui a dit de demander tout ce qu'elle désirait, et que cela allait lui être accordé... Pensez-vous que moi, j'aurais dit cela? Si j'en étais capable, je dirais cela maintenant même. Mais je ne pouvais pas dire cela. Et je tremblais; j'étais très faible. Frère Banks Wood (qui se tient là) était assis à côté de moi. Et la sueur coulait de mes mains, et j'étais si faible que je me suis levé et suis sorti de la maison. Cela m'a effrayé tellement. Mais cette femme a demandé l'une des plus grandes choses que n'importe qui pourrait demander, et elle a reçu cela.
Vous voyez, c'était Dieu. Ce n'était pas un homme. Un homme ne peut pas faire ces choses. Jésus a dit à l'arbre: " Que jamais personne ne mange de ton fruit."
Et les disciples, le lendemain... Combien vite cela a commencé à agir juste après. Le lendemain, cela avait commencé à sécher. Et ils ont dit: " Regarde, combien vite l'arbre sèche. " Et Il a dit: " Ayez foi en Dieu. Car, en vérité, je vous le dis, si vous (pas si Moi, mais si vous, quiconque) dites à cette montagne: 'Ôte-toi de là', et si vous ne doutez pas, mais croyez que ce que vous avez dit s'accomplira, vous le verrez s'accomplir. " C'est Dieu en vous. Voyez-vous? Qui, à part Dieu, pourrait déplacer une montagne? Qui, à part Dieu, pourrait accomplir des choses comme cela?
| E-15 Of my little experience with Christ, I've found the times that--that He would permit me to yield myself to Him till I didn't know what I was saying. And I wouldn't have said that for nothing in the world, but He said it.
Hattie setting back there, the lady. The other day when this new ministry, which I trust will come in this morning... And all of you's heard about it. And when we were setting, and there's at least eight or ten right here now was setting present at that time. And when the Holy Spirit turned to that woman, and told her to ask anything that she desired, and it would be given to her... You think I would have said that? If I could, I'd say it right now. But I couldn't say that. And I trembled; I was so weak. Brother Banks Wood (standing there) was setting next to me. And the perspiration run off of my hands, and I was so weak till I got up and left the house. It scared me so bad. But the woman's asked for one of the greatest things that anyone could ask and received it.
See, that was God. That wasn't a man. Man can't do those things. Jesus said to the tree, "No man eateth from thee."
And the disciples, the next day... How quick it started to work right then. The next day, it'd begin to wither. And they said, "Behold, how quick the tree withers."
And He said, "Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, if ye (not if I, but if you, whosoever) will say to this mountain, 'Be moved,' and don't doubt, but believe what they've said will come to pass, you can have what you have said." That's God in you. See? Who could move a mountain but God. Who could bring things to pass like that but God.

E-16 Vous voyez donc, au-delà de toute controverse, Dieu est dans Son peuple. Alors nous devrions nous respecter les uns les autres. Nous devrions nous aimer les uns les autres. Au-delà de nos barrières dénominationnelles, nous devrions de toute manière nous aimer les uns les autres, peu importe si nous sommes en désaccord.
Peut-être que les apôtres ne pouvaient pas s'accorder. Ils voulaient savoir qui allait être le plus grand, et beaucoup de choses. Jean, Marc et - et Paul, là, ils eurent un... Pierre et Paul eurent un différend.
Mais les liens de l'amour, voilà ce pour quoi nous essayons de lutter aujourd'hui. A l'intention de tous les méthodistes, les baptistes, les presbytériens, les luthériens, quoi que ce soit: nous sommes tous ensemble comme un groupe de chrétiens.
Maintenant, nous cherchons à être remplis de l'Esprit pour nous rapprocher davantage de Dieu. C'est ça la vision.
| E-16 So you see, beyond any controversy, God is in His people. Then we ought to respect one another. We ought to love one another. Beyond our denominational barriers, we ought to love one another anyhow, no matter if we cannot agree.
Maybe the apostles, they couldn't agree. They wanted to know who's going to be the greatest, and many things. John, Mark, and--and Paul there, they had a... Peter and Paul had a disagreement.
But the bonds of love... That's what we're trying to contend for today. To all Methodists, Baptists, Presbyterian, Lutheran, whatever it is, we're all together as a Christian unit.
Now, we're trying to get filled with the Spirit to move up closer to God. That's the vision.

| E-17 Now, have you got Isaiah 1. Let's begin with the 14th verse. And I'm going to take a text, the Lord willing, from the 18th verse to draw my context.
Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth; they are trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.
And when you spread forth your hands, I will hide my eyes from you: yea, when you make any prayers, I will not hear; your hands are full of blood.
Wash you, make you clean; put away evil--evil of your doings from before my eyes; cease to do evil;

E-18 Vous savez, ce dernier temps, nous avons tant entendu parler des conférences, des gens qui se rassemblent. C'est ce dont Dieu parle ici, d'une conférence avec Son peuple: " Venez, et plaidons. " C'est ce que nous faisons ces quelques derniers jours.
Et beaucoup dans la nation sont... Et aujourd'hui, les affaires nationales se basent sur des conférences. Et il y a quelque temps, je peux facilement m'en souvenir et beaucoup de gens peuvent se souvenir de la conférence des Quatre Grands. On a réuni quatre des grands leaders du monde, du monde qui aime la paix, et ils ont tenu une conférence. Et au cours de cette conférence, ils ont essayé de décider de la meilleure chose à faire.
Et puis, nous avons eu récemment la Conférence de Genève. Là à Genève, les gens du monde qui aiment la paix se sont rassemblés pour s'interroger et conférer les uns avec les autres sur la paix dans le monde. C'est ce qu'on a appelé la Conférence de Genève.
Ensuite, si je ne me trompe pas, ils ont tenu une - une conférence à Paris il n'y a pas... il y a quelque temps. Et ils se sont tous réunis à Paris pour discuter des problèmes et pour chercher à amener la paix.
| E-18 You know, lately we have heard so much about conferences, people getting together. That's what God's speaking of here, a conference with His people: "Come, and let us reason together." That's what we've been doing the last few days.
And so much of the nation is... And the national affairs today is based upon conferences. Here some time ago, I can easily recall it; and many of the people can recall The Big Four Conference. They got four of the great leaders of the world together, of the peace-loving world, and they had a conference. And in this conference they tried to decide what would be best to do.
And then we had the Geneva Conference recently. Where at Geneva, the peace loving people of the world assembled themselves together to ask about, and confer with one another about world peace. That was called the Geneva Conference.
Then, if I'm not mistaken, they had a--a Paris Conference here not--some time ago. And they all met at Paris to discuss problems, and to try to bring about a peace.

E-19 Et actuellement, notre aimable président Dwight Eisenhower est en train de visiter le monde libre. Les journaux et la radio ne parlent que de ça, des entretiens de monsieur Eisenhower avec les peuples du monde libre. Il tient conférence après conférence, essayant d'y arriver. Et les... Les journaux disent qu'il a été - il a été accueilli chaleureusement à beaucoup d'endroits, et qu'on chante l'hymne américain, ou plutôt qu'on hisse le drapeau - plutôt qu'on hisse le drapeau à sa venue et - et beaucoup de gens lui offrent des présents et tout. Ce sont les gens des nations qui sont pour la paix.
Et je pense que nous devons prier pour monsieur Eisenhower, pendant qu'il déploie tous ses efforts pour essayer de garder ce pays, afin que nous tenions des réunions comme celle-ci, pour être libres. L'Amérique, malgré tous ses péchés, malgré tous ses problèmes, est malgré tout le meilleur que le monde possède. Je le crois. Et que Dieu vienne en aide pour qu'elle le soit et qu'elle reste toujours ainsi, car nous avons des principes précieux selon lesquels... Cette vieille terre a été baignée de sang pour sauvegarder ces principes.
Je pense donc que nous devrions prier tout le temps pour que Dieu soit avec monsieur Eisenhower; il est âgé et sa santé n'est pas très bonne. Et - et cet homme, malgré sa position sociale, tient des discours et essaie de son mieux... Même si vous êtes en désaccord avec lui sur la politique, priez maintenant pour lui. C'est votre nation qui est en jeu.
| E-19 And now, our lovely President Dwight Eisenhower is touring the free world. The papers are full of it, and the radio, of Mr. Eisenhower's talks with the free people of the world. Conference after conference he's trying to--to get to. And the... They tell in the papers about how that he's--that he's welcome in so many places, and how they sing the American song, or rise the flag up--or raise the flag, rather, up when he comes. And--and different one gives him gifts and so forth. It's the people that are peace-loving nations.
And I think that we ought to pray for Mr. Eisenhower, while they're putting forth all their efforts to try to keep this country where we can have meetings like this, to be free. America, in all of its sin, in all of its trouble, it's still the best the world's got. I believe that. And God help it to be, and always remain that way, for we have some dearly principles that... This old world has been bathed in blood to keep these principles.
So I think we should pray all the time that God will be with Mr. Eisenhower--old, and his health not too good, and--and the man in his social standing, and making speeches, and trying his best... Even if you disagree with him in politics, pray for him now. It's your nation that's at stake.

E-20 Pourquoi tient-on des conférences? Quelle est la raison de la tenue de ces conférences? Il doit y avoir une raison, sinon on ne tiendrait pas ces conférences. Les gens doivent arriver à prendre une certaine décision sur ce qu'ils vont faire. C'est pour cela qu'on tient une conférence, c'est pour prendre une décision. Les hommes sont à tel et tel autre endroit, et ils ont différentes conceptions; et de petites choses surgissent ici et quelque chose ici et là, et alors ils doivent se rencontrer et tenir une conférence, et prendre ensuite une décision sur ce qu'ils vont faire à ce sujet. Et c'est pour cette raison que les conférences sont tenues.
Et alors, après la décision, ou plutôt l'accord sur la tenue de la conférence, ils doivent trouver un certain endroit où tenir cette conférence. Et si vous faites bien attention à cela, ils essayent toujours de trouver un bel endroit.
J'ai été à Genève, où s'est tenue la Conférence de Genève, et à Paris, et - et à différents endroits où des conférences ont été tenues. J'ai été au siège des Nations Unies. Et, oh! c'est beau, surtout à Genève. Et alors là, ils... Je crois qu'ils essayent de choisir ces endroits afin que l'attraction... Il y a quelque chose que... Si c'est paisible et - et attrayant, ça semble agir sur l'esprit humain. Je pense que c'est vrai.
Bien des fois, pour moi-même, gravir une montagne, contempler le coucher du soleil, ou... cela me ravit simplement. On dirait que toutes mes divergences tombent. Un endroit - un endroit - un endroit de choix où cette conférence doit être tenue... Et alors, on doit prendre des décisions.
Et puis, voici une autre pensée que j'aimerais que vous saisissiez, en rapport avec une conférence: on ne tient jamais une conférence à moins qu'il y ait un besoin crucial. C'est à un moment critique que les conférences sont tenues.
| E-20 What is conferences held for? What's the reason for these conferences? There's got to be a reason, or they wouldn't have these conferences. They've got to come to a certain decision of what they're going to do. That's what a conference is for, is to make a decision. Men in one place and other place, and different minds; and little things rise up here, and something over here, and back here, then they've got to come together and hold a conference, and then make a decision what they're going to do about it. And that's why they're held.
And then, after the decision, or the conference is set, they've got to have a certain place to have this conference. And if you'll notice that, they're always trying to find some place that's beautiful.
I've been in Geneva where the Geneva Conference was, and Paris, and--and different places where the conferences has been held. I've been to the U.N. building. And oh, it is beautiful, especially in Geneva. And then in there, they... I believe they try to select these places so that the attraction... There's something that... If it's peaceful, and--and attractive, it seems to work on the human spirit. I believe that's true.
Many times, for myself, to climb a mountain, watch a sunset, or... just thrills me. It looks like all my differences is settled. A place--a place, selected place where this conference must be held... And then, there's got to be decisions to be made.
And then another thought I want you to get is this, in a conference: that they never have a conference unless there is a crucial need. It's at a--a strenuous time when cons--conferences is held.

E-21 Au temps de la rencontre des Quatre Grands, cette conférence fut tenue parce que la Deuxième Guerre mondiale était pratiquement terminée. Et on devait se réunir et mettre toutes les stratégies ensemble pour élaborer quelque chose: M. Churchill et M. Roosevelt ainsi que les autres ont essayé de mettre ensemble leurs bons sens, de les mettre en commun, pour trouver ce qu'il y avait de meilleur; en effet, c'était un moment crucial. C'était un temps où le monde libre dans son ensemble aurait pu exploser. Et aujourd'hui Hitler serait le dictateur du monde. Alors nous n'aurions pas tenu cette réunion aujourd'hui.
C'est pour cela que des conférences se tiennent, et le... Et la raison pour laquelle on les tient à des endroits bien choisis, et - et la raison pour laquelle on doit les tenir... Et si... Nous sommes obligés de tenir une conférence. C'est ainsi que les gens se rencontrent. Et ces conférences ont été de grandes conférences. Je n'en doute pas du tout.
Et le temps ne me permettrait pas, ma voix non plus, de continuer pour parler des autres grandes conférences qui se sont tenues au cours de cet âge, au sujet desquelles j'ai lu, notamment au temps de Pharaon et ainsi de suite. Mais les grandes conférences du système de ce monde ont été tenues.
| E-21 In the time of the Big Four meeting, it was a conference because that World War II was almost getting out of hands. And they had to get together, and put all their strategy together, and work out something, Mr. Churchill and Roosevelt, and the others, trying to put their senses together, to pool it, to find out what's best; because it was a crucial moment. It was a time when the whole free world could've blowed up. And Hitler today would've been dictator of the world. Then we'd have not had this meeting today.
That's why conferences is held, and the... And the reason they put them in selected places, and--and the reason that they have to have them... And if... We're forced to a conference. That's the way they meet. And them's been great conferences. There's no doubt in my mind.
And time would not permit me, my voice, to go on and say of the other great conferences down through the age that I have read about in the days of Pharaoh, and so forth. But the great conferences of this world system has been held.

E-22 Et puis, Dieu a tenu de grandes conférences. Dans la grande économie de Dieu vint un temps où une conférence devait être tenue.
Et la première que je peux citer pour cette terre fut tenue dans le Jardin d'Eden, quand les anges sont rentrés à la maison en pleurant et ont dit: " Ton enfant est tombé. Il a péché, il a brisé Tes commandements."
Quelque chose devait être fait. La créature de Dieu était déchue de la grâce, et elle était sujette à la séparation éternelle de la Présence de son Dieu et Créateur. C'était un moment crucial, car le Roi du Ciel avait dit: " Le jour où tu en mangeras, ce jour-là tu mourras. " Et Il a fait confiance à Son fils, mais Son fils a brisé Son commandement. Quelque chose devait être fait. Il s'agissait de Sa création. Il s'agissait de l'oeuvre de Ses propres mains. C'était l'amour de Son coeur, la prunelle de Son oeil. Quelque chose devait être fait. Une conférence dut donc être convoquée.
| E-22 And then God has held some great conferences. There come a time in God's great economy where there had to be a conference held.
And the first one that I could call of for this earth was in the garden of Eden, when the Angels of God came home weeping, saying, "Your child has fallen. He's sinned, and he's broken Your commandments."
Something had to be done. The creature of God had fallen from grace, and was subject unto eternal separation from the Presence of his God and his Maker. It was a crucial moment, for the King of heaven had said, "The day you eat thereof, that day you die." And putting His trust into His son, His son had broke His commandment. There had to be something done. It was His creation. It was the work of His own hand. It was a love of His heart, the apple of His eye. Something must be done. So there had to be a conference called.

E-23 Dieu choisit un certain arbre, dans le Jardin d'Eden. Et après avoir jeté des peaux de bêtes ensanglantées dans le... derrière le buisson, Il a appelé Adam et Eve, et là Il a tenu une conférence, Il a parlé, Il a fait un remède contre cette chose horrible que Ses enfants avaient faite. La conférence de Dieu...
Et une décision fut prise. Lors d'une conférence, on prend toujours une décision. Et Dieu a pris une décision selon laquelle, étant donné que Eve avait... quand Il l'a mise à la barre des témoins, puisqu'elle avait ôté de la terre la vie, elle devait amener la vie sur la terre. Et pour Adam, et pour le serpent... Et naturellement, étant donné qu'il était le chef de la race, toute la race sous sa domination est tombée avec Adam.
| E-23 God selected a certain tree in the garden of Eden. And after He had throwed out old bloody sheepskins into the--behind the bushes, He called Adam and Eve, and there He made a conference, talked over, and made a remedy for this horrible thing that His children had done. God's conference...
And there was a decision made. Always at a conference, there is a decision. And God made a decision, that because that Eve had... When He held her at the witness stand, because she'd took life from the world, she'd have to bring life to the world. And to Adam, and to the serpent... And of course, that being the head of the race, all the race under it fell with Adam.

E-24 Et puis, je peux me rappeler une autre conférence avec un prophète fugitif qui avait faibli dans ses décisions. Et il pensait que la tâche était trop grande. Et il avait fui, et il s'était marié à une femme, il est allé dans le désert, et il est resté là pendant quarante ans; un prophète, oint de Dieu, ayant une grande commission, venu au monde comme un prophète. Mais cependant, devant la menace qui a suivi l'erreur qu'il avait commise en prenant la chose dans ses propres mains... Au lieu de suivre les instructions de Dieu, il a tué un homme. Et devant la menace de Pharaon et par peur de ce dernier, il s'est enfui dans le désert et y est resté quarante ans.
Et pour les esclaves de l'Egypte, la corvée était si grande; leurs dos étaient si meurtris, leurs coeurs étaient si brisés que leurs cris sont parvenus jusqu'à Dieu, et Il a été obligé de tenir une conférence.
Il y a un moyen de provoquer une conférence. Vous pouvez le faire dans votre vie, lors d'une confrontation.
| E-24 Then I can call in my memory another conference of a runaway prophet that had got weak in his decisions. And he thought the task was too great. And he had run away, and married him a wife, and got back into the wilderness, and been there for forty years, a prophet, anointed of God with a great commission, borned in the world a prophet. But yet, at the very threat of his mistake he had did, to take it in his own hands... Instead of following the instructions of God, he killed a man. And at the threat and the fear of Pharaoh, he run into the wilderness, and there was forty years.
And the slaves of Egypt, the task was so great; their backs was so sore; their hearts was so broken, until their cries come before God, till He was forced to a conference.
There's a way of forcing a conference. You can do it in your life, a showdown.

E-25 Les fardeaux du peuple et - et les cris étaient si grands que Dieu fut obligé de convoquer une conférence. Quand Dieu prend une décision, il doit en être ainsi.
Aussi avait-Il déjà, avant la fondation du monde, mis un homme dans le Livre de Vie de l'Agneau dans le but de libérer ce peuple. Toutes cho... choses étaient planifiées d'avance par Dieu. Cet homme s'appelait Moïse, Son serviteur. Ainsi, avant la fondation du monde, Moïse avait été choisi pour libérer ce peuple. Moïse avait failli vis-à-vis de Dieu.
Cela devrait nous donner con-... confiance et courage. Nous qui avons failli devant Dieu, nous avons encore de l'espérance. Nous faillissons devant Lui en tant qu'église, nous faillissons devant Lui en tant que peuple. Convoquons cependant une conférence; parlons-en avec Lui; voyons ce qu'Il nous dira; voyons à quelle décision nous aboutirons.
| E-25 The burdens of the people, and--and the cries was so great, till God had to be forced to call a conference. When God makes a decision, it's got to be that way.
So He had already, before the foundation of the world, had put a man on the Lamb's Book of Life for the purpose of delivering them people. All thins--things is preplanned by God. That man's name was Moses, His servant. So before the foundation of the world, Moses was chose to deliver the people. And Moses had failed God.
That should give us co--confidence and courage. We who have failed God, we still have hopes. We fail Him as a Church; we fail Him as a people. But let's call a conference; talk it over with Him; see what He will tell us; see what decision we'll derive at.

E-26 Et l'homme de Dieu avait failli. Et Dieu dut convoquer une conférence; Il ne pouvait utiliser personne d'autre; il avait choisi Moïse. | E-26 And God's man had failed. And God had to call a conference; He couldn't use no one else; He'd selected Moses. So He goes down into the wilderness, somewhere in the back of the desert, near Sinai, and He selected a top of a mountain and a bush, a certain place. He thought, "I will bring Moses up here. This'll be a good place, away from his sheep, away from his wife, away from his children, away from all the people. And I'll call a conference with him."
And there when He spoke to the prophet, they finally arrived at the subject. "I've heard the cries of My people. That's why I called you, Moses. I've heard the cries of My people down there, and I remember that I made a promise that I have to keep. And I'm sending you down there."

Je suis le Dieu qui guérit les malades et les affligés. Je suis Jéhovah-Dieu."
Moïse a dit: " Je vois Ta gloire. Encore une chose que j'aimerais savoir avant la clôture de cette conférence. Qui, dirai-je à Pharaon, m'a envoyé?"
Il a dit: " Dis-lui que JE SUIS t'a envoyé ", pas J'ETAIS ou JE SERAI, mais toujours au présent, le même hier, aujourd'hui et éternellement. JE SUIS. JE SUIS, c'est le temps présent. Non pas... Cela englobe le futur, le présent, et - et le temps passé. " JE SUIS. JE SUIS t'a envoyé. "
| E-27 Moses had his--his words back with God. He was a man. He said, "But who am I? I--I can't talk."
And then in this--this conference, God said to Moses, "Who made the mouth of men? Who made men to talk? Who made the deaf? Who made the dumb?"
And Moses still complained. He wanted to see God's glory. And He said, "Moses, if you want to know Who I am, I'm a miracle working God. Throw your stick down on the ground," and it turned to a serpent. Then He said, "Stick you hand in your bosom and pull it out," and it was leprosy. And when he put it back again and pulled it out, it was healed. Said, "You know Who I am, Moses? I'm the God that performs miracles. I'm the God that heals the sick and the afflicted. I am Jehovah God."
Moses said, "I see Your glory. One more thing I want to know before this conference is closed: who will I tell Pharaoh that sent me?"
He said, "Tell him that I AM sent you, not I was, or I will be, but forever present, the same yesterday, today, and forever. I AM." "AM" is present tense. Not... It takes future, presence, and--and past tense. "I AM. I AM has sent you."

E-28 Moïse a reçu Ses ordonnances, puis il est descendu en Egypte. En sortant, en amenant les enfants d'Israël, il est arrivé un certain moment où ils étaient coincés. Un peuple, un peuple appelé à sortir, un peuple séparé du reste du monde... Israël était le peuple de Dieu tant qu'ils étaient en Egypte. Une fois sortis de l'Egypte, ils étaient l'Eglise de Dieu. Le terme " appelé à sortir ", ou plutôt église signifie appelé à sortir. Ils avaient donc été appelés à sortir du reste du monde, et ils sont devenus l'Eglise.
C'est ce qu'il en est ce matin. Ceux qui sont appelés à sortir du monde, peu importe l'étiquette dénominationnelle qu'ils portent, s'ils sont appelés à sortir, ils sont séparés pour être en Dieu, et ils sont membres de Sa grande Eglise.
Ainsi, ces gens s'étaient séparés par le sacrifice du sang d'un agneau, et en appliquant sur le... le sang sur le linteau de la porte. Et il était appliqué avec l'hysope.
| E-28 Moses received his orders and went on down to the Egypt. Coming out, bringing the children, there come a time that when they were cornered. A people, a people, called out, separated people from the rest of the world... Israel was a people of God as long as in Egypt. When once out of Egypt, they were the Church of God. The word "called out" or "church" means "called out." So they had been called out from the rest of the world, and they are the church.
That's what it is this morning. Those that are called out of the world, no matter what denominational tag they have on them, if they're called out, they are separated unto God, and they are members of His great Church.
So these people had separated themselves by offering the blood of a lamb, and by putting on the--the blood over the lintel of the door. And that was put on with hyssops.

Je ne douterai plus jamais de la Parole de Dieu. " C'est aussi simple que ça.
| E-29 Look. I want you to notice something here. It's so striking. Moses commanded that they take hyssops, and dip it into the blood of the lamb, and spread it over the door. The blood, of course, represented the Blood of Christ. The hyssop was common weeds. You could find it anywhere. Just pick up a handful of weeds. It shows that the Blood is so simple to apply.
The weeds represented faith, just faith in God. You don't have to go somewhere else. Just take the faith of God, and apply the Blood to your heart. Say, "I'm separated from the things of the world, because by faith, I apply the Blood to my case this morning. I shall be healed, because I apply the Blood over the lintel of my heart. I'll never let doubt strike me again. For, I will protect myself by placing the Blood of Jesus, by faith, by hyssop, over my door, and no enemy will enter in. I'll never disbelieve God's Word anymore." That's how simple it is.

Mais quand cette église s'arrête, c'est alors que Satan prend le dessus. Elle doit constamment, rapidement avancer, en marchant vers Sion. Ne laissez pas l'Eglise du Dieu vivant se rendre coupable en s'arrêtant.
Ils se sont donc arrêtés et ils ont demandé: " Qu'est-ce qui ne va pas ici? " Et aussitôt qu'ils se sont arrêtés et qu'ils ont dressé leurs tentes, et qu'ils ont commencé à se reposer un peu, ils ont entendu le roulement des roues. Et l'unique voie qu'ils avaient pour s'échapper, c'était par derrière. Mais voilà l'armée de Pharaon qui s'avançait pour bloquer le passage, ou faire obstacle.
| E-30 They were on their march after being separated and a called out people, and they come to the Red Sea. And they had to call a halt; they couldn't cross over. The great general, Joshua, had to raise his hand and sound the trumpet. "Stop. Quit marching. There's an obstacle before us. We have the mountains on either side. We're down here in the valley. And we have to stop."
And when that Church ever stops, that's when Satan takes over. Got to move constantly, rapidly, marching towards Zion. Don't let the Church of the living God every be guilty of stopping.
So they stopped, and said, "What's the matter here?" And as soon as they stopped and pitched their tents, and begin to rest awhile, they heard the rumble of wheels. And the only way of escape they had was backward. And here come Pharaoh's army moving in to block off, or channel across.

E-31 Vous, les soldats, vous connaissez la stratégie, comment on isole les gens. Il y avait la mer Rouge devant eux, large peut-être de deux ou trois miles [environ 3,2 ou 4,8 km - N.D.T.]. Ici il y avait de hautes montagnes qu'ils ne pouvaient pas gravir. Ils étaient comme des brebis éparpillées là, une cible pour tout archer. Et derrière eux, comme ils s'étaient arrêtés, venait l'ennemi.
Voici ce que cela nous montre, mes amis: même aujourd'hui, dans la marche vers la Terre promise, l'ennemi n'est qu'à un ou deux bonds derrière nous. Nous ne pouvons pas nous arrêter à ce réveil. Ceci ne peut pas être un moment d'ordonner un arrêt. Continuez simplement à avancer. Allez de l'avant. Vous avez eu la Présence du Saint-Esprit avec vous... d'avant-hier soir et hier soir. They'd be like sheep scattered out there, a target for every bowman. And behind them, because they had stopped, come the enemy.
It shows this, friends, even in the march today towards the promised land, the enemy's just a jump or two behind us. We can't stop at this revival. This cannot be calling a halt. Just keep moving on. Go on. You got a Presence of the Holy Spirit with you ni--night before last and last night. Now, continually move on into that. Don't call no halt, for the enemy is close behind you.

| E-32 And as soon as the halt was called, and Pharaoh's army was seen coming in the distance, the--the roar of the wheels of the chariots, and the dust flying, and the screams of the soldiers; what a time, it run the people almost into a frantic.
But there was one among them who knowed there was no reason to be disturbed. He'd had conferences before. He knowed what it taken to get ahold of God. So up, we'll say, upon the hill, at a certain rock, Moses hid himself from the rest of the children of Israel, and there he held a conference. "Lord, I have marched to this place, but an obstacle has stopped us. We've had to call a halt."

E-33 C'est comme notre frère qui est ici dans le fauteuil roulant, c'est peut-être comme vous qui y êtes assis là, souffrant du cancer, ou des troubles cardiaques, ou de quelque chose dont vous savez que vous allez simplement mourir sous peu... L'ennemi vous a arrêté. Il vous a amené à vous arrêter. Peut-être que vous vous êtes arrêté avant que l'ennemi vous ait attrapé. Peut-être que vous avez tellement bu que vous ne pouvez boire davantage, et vous n'arrivez pas à arrêter cela. Peut-être que vous en êtes arrivé au point où vous êtes tellement chargé de péchés et de convoitises que vous êtes obligé de regarder chaque femme que vous voyez, c'est mal. Ou peut-être que vous avez même perverti vos propres ressources naturelles. Peut-être que vous en êtes arrivé à un blocage. Peu m'importe où vous en êtes, Dieu est toujours prêt à venir auprès de vous dans une conférence pour en parler avec vous.
| E-33 Like our brother here in the wheelchair, like maybe you setting there in it with a cancer, or with a heart trouble, or something that you know you're just going to die right away... The enemy has stopped you. He's brought you to a halt. Maybe you come to a halt before the enemy overtook you. Maybe there's something in your life that's caused you to halt. Whatever it is, you're still have the privilege of a conference. Let's talk it over with Him. Let's do something about it. No matter what the enemy is, he's never too great for our God. We need a conference.
So Moses went up behind a certain place, we'll say, and held a conference with God. He didn't know what to do.
Maybe you don't know what to do. Maybe you're sinners and have done so much sin. Maybe you smoked till you can't smoke no more, and can't quit it. Maybe you've drink till you can't drink no more, and you can't quit it. Maybe you come to the place where you so full of sin and lust till you have to look upon every woman you see, wrong. Or maybe you've even perverted your own natural resources. Maybe you've come to a block. I don't care where you're at; God's still ready to come to you in a conference and talk it over with you.

E-34 Peut-être que vous avez brisé votre foyer. Peut-être que vous avez quitté votre mari ou votre femme. Peut-être que vous avez fui vos enfants. J'ai conduit ces gens juste comme Tu m'as dit de le faire. J'ai couvert le peuple avec le sang; j'ai fait venir du Ciel des fléaux; j'ai fait tout ce que Tu m'as dit de faire. Et nous voici pris au piège. Que dois-je faire, Eternel? Il me faut avoir cette conférence avec Toi."
Et peut-être que Moïse, étant assis au sommet du rocher, ou debout près du creux du rocher, priant à cet endroit choisi, à cette heure cruciale... Quelque chose devait être fait, sinon ils allaient être écrasés sous les roues des chars. Ces derniers allaient rouler sur tous les petits enfants hébreux. Tous ces petits enfants allaient avoir leurs têtes écrasées sur une pierre, et leurs mères allaient être éventrées, et leurs... et violées, et leurs - leurs pères massacrés. C'était une heure critique.
| E-34 Maybe you've broke up your home. Maybe you've left your husband or left your wife. Maybe you run off from your children. There might be many things in this life that the enemy has trapped you into. But remember, my brother, sister, you still have the rights to have a conference with God. Yes, sir. Talk it over with Him. He's a very present help in a time of trouble.
Then we see that Moses had a conference. And perhaps this was a conference, "Oh, great leader of Israel, I have done all this at Your command. I have... I have led these people just as You told me to do it. I've covered the people by the blood; I've brought down the plagues out of heaven; I've done everything that You told me to do. And here we are, trapped. What must I do, Lord. I must have this conference with You."
And perhaps setting on top of the rock, or standing near by the cleft of the rock where Moses was praying at this certain selected place in this crucial moment... Something had to be done or they'd be crushed beneath the wheels of the chariots. They'd be pushed through every little Hebrew children. Every one of the little babies would've been bursted their heads on a rock, and their mothers would been cut open, and their--and ravished, and their--their fathers'd been massacred. There was a crucial moment.

E-35 Il se peut que ce soit le même genre de moment critique, peut-être pas exactement comme celui-là. Mais peut-être qu'un cancer s'est emparé de vous, peut-être une autre maladie. Peut-être que le péché s'est emparé de vous et qu'il va vous écraser et vous jeter carrément dans l'enfer du diable, une séparation d'avec Dieu. Tenez vite une conférence.
Et quand cette conférence a été tenue, Dieu s'est tenu sur le rocher, à côté de Moïse, et Il a dit: " Retourne au camp, Moïse. Rentre directement d'où tu viens. Je suis Dieu. Va là et dis au peuple d'aller de l'avant. Je frayerai un chemin quand le temps de frayer le chemin arrivera. Je suis le Dieu qui fraye le chemin."
Moïse, après cette conférence, et après avoir été congédié de la Présence de Dieu avec l'ordre d'aller de l'avant, il est descendu et a dit: "N'ayez pas peur, Israël. Tenez-vous tranquilles aujourd'hui et voyez la puissance de notre Dieu. Dirigez-vous vers la mer. Ne vous écartez pas de l'ordre. L'ordre, c'est: avancez. La Terre promise nous appartient. L'ennemi nous fait obstacle sur notre chemin. Mais Dieu a dit: " Avancez. Continuez d'avancer. "
| E-35 There may that same type of crucial moment, maybe just not that way. But maybe a cancer has took ahold of you, maybe some other disease. Maybe sin has took ahold of you, and it's going to crush you right down into a devil's hell, a separation from God. Hold a conference, quickly.
And when this conference was held, God stood on the rock by the side of Moses, and He said, "Go back down in the camp, Moses. Go right back where you started from. I'm God. Go down there and speak to the people to go forward. I'll make the way when it comes time to make the way. I'm the way-making God."
Moses, after the conference was over and was dismissed from the Presence of God with a order to go forward, walked down, and said, "Fear not, Israel. Stand still this day and see the power of our God. Go towards the sea. Don't move from the commandment. The command is 'Go forward.' The promised land belongs to us. This enemy is in our way has got us cut off. But God said, 'Go forward. Keep moving.'"

E-36 Voilà le problème de l'église aujourd'hui. Dieu vous appelle. Et Il veut vous donner don après don, puissance après puissance, grâce après grâce. Mais vous vous organisez. " Je ne peux donc pas aller plus loin, car l'église ne me le permettra pas. " Vous voyez, il n'y a pas en Dieu un endroit pour s'arrêter, il n'y a pas de place pour la dénomination. Il n'y a pas de place pour n'importe quel principe. Ce qu'il y a, c'est aller de l'avant. Proclamez la Parole de Dieu et allez de l'avant. Continuez simplement d'avancer. Continuez de marcher. Dieu dit que c'est en ordre, c'est en ordre. Vous avez reçu votre commission.
Si vous dites: " Eh bien, je suis allé à mon église et on m'a dit que je ne devrais pas aller à ce tabernacle-là. Je suis totalement embrouillé maintenant, je ne sais pas si je dois avoir le Saint-Esprit ou pas. " La promesse vous appartient. " La promesse est pour vous, pour vos enfants, et pour tous ceux qui sont au loin, en aussi grand nombre que le Seigneur notre Dieu les appellera."
Quoi? Prononcer la Parole de Dieu. " Dieu l'a dit. " Allez de l'avant. Voyez l'ennemi se disperser. Voyez la mer Rouge s'ouvrir. Ayez une conférence. Allez de l'avant. Elle s'ouvrira certainement.
| E-36 That's what's the matter with the Church today. God calls you. And He wants to give you gift after gift, and power after power, and grace after grace. But you organize yourself. "Then I can't go any farther, because the church won't let Me." See, there's no halting place in God, no place for denomination. There's no place for any certain standards. The thing of it is, is go forward. Speak God's Word and go forward. Just keep on going. Keep moving. God says it's right, it's right. You've got your commission.
If you say, "Well, I went to my church, and they told me I oughtn't going up to that tabernacle. I'm all confused now about whether I should have the Holy Ghost or not." The promise is yours. It's to you and to your children, and to them that's far off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
What? Speak the Word of God. "God said so." Go forward. Watch the enemy scatter. Watch the Red Sea open. Have a conference. Go forward. Sure it'll open.

E-37 Dieu est la voie pour échapper. Il a frayé une voie menant droit jusqu'à la Terre promise. Et tout ce qui Lui a fait obstacle, Il l'a ôté du chemin. Et si quelque chose vous fait obstacle, ayez alors une conférence avec Dieu. Parlez-en avec Lui et continuez. C'est ce que Dieu dit ici à Esaïe. " Oh! tu es pécheur, tes péchés sont comme le cramoisi. Pourquoi ne viens-tu pas pour que nous plaidions ensemble? Pourquoi ne viens-tu pas en parler avec Moi? Ma grâce te suffit."
La conférence de la mer Rouge... Une autre conférence a été tenue il y a plusieurs années, et j'aimerais en parler juste un instant. C'était la période de Noël, dans laquelle nous entrons maintenant, qu'il y ait eu de Noël ou pas. Mais une conférence était organisée au Ciel pour savoir ce que serait ce plan de rédemption. Et Dieu avait décidé qu'Il deviendrait un Homme, qu'Il descendrait et prendrait sur Lui-même Sa propre malédiction. Cela n'aurait pas été juste de Sa part d'envoyer un ange. Cela n'aurait pas été juste de Sa part d'envoyer une autre personne; même s'Il avait un Fils, ça n'aurait pas été juste de Sa part d'envoyer Son Fils.
Cela ne serait pas juste de ma part de faire subir à Joseph ce qui découle de mon jugement. Ce ne serait pas juste de ma part de faire cela. Si je prononce mon jugement et que je veuille racheter cela, tout ce que je peux faire, c'est subir cela moi-même. C'est ça le signe. C'est le coup mortel qui a été porté à Satan.
| E-37 God is the way of escape. He made a way right straight to the promised land. Anything got in His way, He moved it out of the way. If anything gets in your way, then have a conference with God. Talk it over with Him and go on. That's what God's saying to Isaiah here. "Oh, you're sinful. Your sins are like scarlet. Why don't you come and let's reason together. Why not come and talk it over with Me. My grace is sufficient."
The Red Sea Conference... Many years ago there was another conference I'd like to speak just a moment of. That was the Yuletide Season that we're now entering, whether there would be a Christmas or not. But there was a conference made in heaven, what this plan of redemption would be. And it was decided by God, that He would become a man, that He'd come down and take His own curse upon Himself. Would not be fair for Him to send an Angel. It wouldn't be fair for Him to send any other person; even if He had a Boy, it would not be fair for Him to send His Boy.
It would not be fair for me to make Joseph suffer for the things of my judgment. I wouldn't be just in doing so. If I pass my judgment and want to redeem it, the only thing I can do is suffer for it myself. That's the sign. That's the death stroke to Satan.

Jésus était un Homme. Il s'appelait Lui-même le Fils de l'homme.
C'était un coup mortel porté au diable. Le diable est élevé, il s'est bâti un royaume plus beau que celui de Michaël. Caïn, son fils, voulait faire un bel autel plein de fruits et tout.
Dieu n'habite pas dans ce genre de beauté. Mais Dieu, pour donner un coup mortel au péché... Regardez comment Il est venu. Comment a-t-Il choisi de venir? Il y eut une conférence au Ciel. " Comment vas-Tu descendre? Comment vas-Tu le faire, Père? ", ont demandé les anges.

"You'll never find God there." But that's where you'll find Him, wrapped in swaddling's cloth, humility.
You think it comes in some great way. If you want to hold your real conference with God, get a bunch of people like that, then talk it over.
You can see the work of God, how He didn't take some sculpture, some great artist and something, and give him an intellectual speech, but He took something that was nothing. Come down, just like He did at the first place.

It wasn't borned in the palace; was borned in a stable. He didn't have needlework garments to put on, but the rags off the back of a yoke of an ox, laying over a pile of manure, the Son of God, the Tabernacle in which God lived in. That's how He decided to come. And we have to have turned around collars and frock-tailed coats, and big fine churches, and golden steeples.
"This will be a sign: you'll find Him in swaddling's cloth... wrapped in swaddling's cloth and laid in a manger. There's a sign unto you." God dwells in humility, not in pomp. That's always been the devil's idea. God comes in humility. That'll be a sign.

That's a death stroke to the devil right there. That's a death stroke to every denomination, and pomp, and all pomp and glory of this world. It's a death stroke that the God of heaven chose to come that way.
That's what happened at the conference. It had to be decided. That's the way He chose to come. He didn't have to come that way. He was the God of heaven, but He chose to come as a baby. He chose to come that way. That's what happened at the conference in heaven.

Ils devaient tenir une conférence. Dieu et Christ devaient en parler. L'Agneau et la Colombe ont dû se réunir. C'était la Colombe qui devait parler à l'Agneau, et il s'agissait de la mort de l'Agneau. God and Christ had to talk it over. The Lamb and the Dove had to set together. It was the Dove that had to talk to the Lamb, and it was the Lamb's death. Now, when they set by that rock, and all the Angels come down from heaven to listen in to this conference. Oh, there was Gabriel, Michael, Woodworm, all the thousands of them setting around the rock.

Les aimes-Tu assez pour prendre leur place, pour porter leurs péchés jusqu'à la mort la plus difficile mais déterminante? " Vous... Rien ne pouvait mourir de ce genre de mort, à part Lui. Et lors de cette conférence-là, une telle décision avait été prise, de sorte que le sang est tombé goutte à goutte de Son front. Il était sous une tension. Les péchés du monde étaient sur Lui. Et alors, Il a regardé la Colombe en face et Il a dit: " Non pas ma volonté, mais que Ta volonté soit faite."
Oh! Pouvons-nous prendre cette décision dans nos coeurs ce matin? Pouvez-vous renoncer à votre petite vie de souillure? Etes-vous prêt à Le regarder en face et à dire: " Non pas ma volonté. Je suis un ivrogne, mais je ne boirai plus. Je joue à l'argent; je ne boirai plus. Je suis immoral, mais je ne le serai plus. Je suis un menteur, mais je mets fin à cela aujourd'hui. Je suis une personne ignoble, mais dans cette conférence ce matin, je Te regarderai en face et j'accepterai comme mon Maître Celui qui est mort pour moi afin d'éclairer mon chemin: non pas ma volonté, Ta volonté. Que cela me coûte mon foyer, que cela me coûte mon mari, ma femme, mon père, ma mère, ma communauté, ma qualité de membre d'église, quoi que cela me coûte, dans cette conférence ce matin, je dis que je veux que Ton Saint-Esprit vive en moi. J'ai entendu parler de cela. Je Te veux en moi. Non pas ma volonté, mais la Tienne; voilà ma décision. " Dieu a désigné un lieu, ce n'est pas sur un endroit très élevé, mais c'est un modeste petit tabernacle qui est sur le point de s'écrouler. Nous sommes en conférence.
| E-46 He said to His disciples, wearied. They'd had lots of big meetings, was tired, perhaps like you are this morning. But He said, "Will you just watch with Me an hour? Oh, I've got to go yonder and have a conference. I have to go alone." And when they... The conference was set. And the Lamb, young, a beautiful Life... And never a Life like that, never was, never will be, a Life like that, the Lamb had.
But now the Father said, "Are you willing? Is Your love for Your brethren great enough? Is Your love for that sinful stinking world that You were borned in, do You love them enough to forfeit Your Life? Do You love them enough to take their place, to bear their sin to the hardest crucial death..." You... There could be nothing die that kind of death but Him. And in that conference, such a decision was made, until blood dropped from His brow. He was under a strain. The sins of the world was upon Him. And then He looked into the face of the Dove, and said, "Not My will, but Thy will be done."
Oh, can we have that decision in our hearts this morning. Can you forfeit that little filthy life of yours? Are you willing to look into His face and say, "Not my will. I'm a drunkard, but I'll drink no more. I'm a gambler; I will drink no more. I'm immoral, but I'll be that way no more. I'm a liar, but I'll stop it today. I'm a foul person, but in this conference this morning, I'll look into Your face and take like my Master Who died for me to make my way clear: not my will, Your will. If it costs me my home, if it costs me my husband, my wife, my father, my mother, my fellowship, my church membership, whatever it costs me, in this conference this morning, I say I want Your Holy Spirit to live in me. I've heard about It. I want You in me. Not mine, but Yours, that's my decision." God has called a place, not upon some high pinnacle place, but a humble little tabernacle about to fall in. We're having a conference.

Ils ne savaient donc pas comment ils devaient s'y prendre, ils sont donc allés à la Pentecôte, les cent vingt sont allés dans la chambre haute et ont fermé la porte. Et ils ont attendu et attendu.
| E-47 Let me speak of one more conference here just a moment. Many could be taught of. There was a conference after His death, burial, and resurrection. Something had to be done. They were men that had an intellectual conception. So there was another great conference set. We know it in the Bible as Pentecost. They had to have a conference. And something had to be done, for Jesus said, "Don't teach no more; don't sing anymore; don't go out and minister anymore; but I want a conference with you. And in this conference, I'm going to bring the Holy Spirit. But go up to the city of Jerusalem, and there you wait until I get back. I've got to go up to heaven to let them rejoice. And I've got to go up to the--the throne of the Majesty (the body, Jesus). But I'm going... We're going to have a conference up there. And the God that dwells in Me has promised that I could return back again, and I'd be in you, with you, in you, even to the end of the consummation, the world. Until it's all over, I'll be with you. And the works that I do, will you do also."
So they didn't know how they'd ever do this, so they went to Pentecost, and a hundred and twenty went in the upper room and closed the door. And they waited and they waited.

Et tout d'un coup, les résultats de la conférence tenue au Ciel sont descendus: le Saint-Esprit, comme un vent impétueux, a rempli toute la maison où ils étaient assis. Ils furent remplis du Saint-Esprit et ils sont allés de l'avant, prêchant la Parole.
| E-48 Trouble with us, if we don't get a--an audience with God in about ten minutes, we're tired, our knees are hurting. We want to leave. And if He doesn't answer us just according to what we want, and the way we think, we're disgusted with Him.
"Oh, come, let us reason together. Go up to Pentecost; I want to reason it with you. Just go up there and wait." Ten days they'd been sitting, standing, praying, everything, waiting for the promise.
And all of a sudden, the results of the conference in heaven came down, the Holy Ghost, like a rushing mighty wind, and It filled all the house where they were setting. They were filled with the Holy Ghost, and they went forward preaching the Word.

E-49 Lorsqu'on a des conférences mondiales, généralement, les gens choisissent les lieux où elles doivent se tenir. Et que font-ils à cette conférence? Ils boivent, prennent des cocktails. Ils fument des cigares et des cigarettes. Ils se mentent les uns aux autres, ils se trompent les uns les autres, lors des pourparlers de paix du monde.
Mais quand Dieu convoque une conférence, on jeûne, on se purifie, on prie, on reçoit des ordonnances et on va de l'avant. Voilà la conférence avec Dieu, ce n'est pas en festoyant, mais en jeûnant; ce n'est pas en donnant libre cours à la souillure, mais on se sépare, on se purifie de toute impiété lorsqu'on va devant Dieu. Vous vous purifiez par la foi, en mettant l'hysope dans le Sang, vous purifiez votre coeur et vous marchez devant Dieu pour une conférence; voilà le genre de conférence qui se tient quand vous rencontrez Dieu. Alors Dieu vous donne des ordonnances; alors vous allez de l'avant; Il va avec vous.
| E-49 When we have world conferences, they usually have their selected place. And what do they do at this conference? They drink drinks, cocktails. They smoke cigars and cigarettes. They lie to one another, and deceive one another at peace talks of the world.
But when God calls a conference, it's fasting, cleaning up, prayer, receiving orders, and going forward. That's God's conference, not feasting, but fasting, not indulging in filth, but separating, cleansing yourself from all unrighteousness when you go before God. Cleaning yourself by faith, through applying the hyssop to the Blood, and cleansing your heart and walking before God for a conference, that's the kind of conferences when you meet with God. Then God gives you orders; then you go forward; He goes with you.

Une conférence fut tenue au temps de Wesley, en Angleterre, pour qu'il prêche la sanctification. Et quand Wesley témoignait...
J'ai porté son manteau, le dernier manteau qu'il avait porté, une robe. Je me suis tenu à sa chaire où il prêchait à mille cinq cents personnes chaque matin, à 5h; je me suis agenouillé dans la chambre et j'ai rendu grâces à Dieu pour sa vie, la chambre même où il est mort. Et là-dedans, avec l'Esprit sur moi, je me suis dit: " Oui, Wesley était fidèle."
Dieu et Ses saints anges avaient tenu une conférence selon laquelle il était temps de prêcher la sanctification. Et Ils ont choisi Wesley, et il a été fidèle à cela.
Puis vint la Pentecôte. Ce fut le temps pour la restauration de la Pentecôte. Une conférence fut tenue au Ciel: " Est-ce le temps de déverser la plénitude de l'Esprit? " Et Cela est descendu. Et ils ont prêché Cela. Et nous L'avons reçu, nous avons reçu le Saint-Esprit.

There's been a conference lately. There was a conference in the days of Martin Luther at the reformation. God called Martin Luther to go preach justification, and he did it. There was a conference held in the days of Wesley in England to preach sanctification. And as Wesley testified...
I wore his coat, the last coat he had on, a robe. I stood in his pulpit where he preached to fifteen hundred every morning at five o'clock, knelt in the room and thanked God for his life, the very room that he died in. In there, the Spirit upon me, I thought, "Yes, Wesley was true."
God's holy Angels and God had a conference that it was time to preach sanctification. And they selected Wesley, and he was true to it.
Then along come the Pentecostal. It was time for a Pentecostal restoration. There was a conference held in heaven: "Is the time to pour out the fullness of the Spirit?" And It fell. And they preached It. And we got It, and received the Holy Ghost.

E-51 Je crois qu'aujourd'hui nous sommes à une autre conférence. C'est la Venue du Fils de Dieu. Il a dit à Ses disciples: " Je ne connais ni la minute ni l'heure. En effet, la Bible dit: " La Parole de Dieu est plus vivante, plus efficace qu'une épée quelconque à deux tranchants, pénétrante même jusqu'à la moelle de l'os; Elle discerne les pensées du coeur."
Quand Philippe est venu et a été converti, il est allé chercher Nathanaël; et Nathanaël, le Juif, a été amené devant Jésus; et il lui avait parlé de Lui, disant: " Eh bien, Nathanaël, oh! il y a quelques jours un vieux pêcheur sans instruction est venu auprès de Lui, et Lui connaissait son nom et l'a appelé, Il lui a dit qui il était. Ne sais-tu pas que ce Messie dont notre prophète a dit qu'Il viendrait, ne comprends-tu pas que ce Messie devait être un Prophète? Un Dieu-Prophète? Il est là. C'est Lui."
Nathanaël doit avoir dit: " Je ne crois pas ça. J'irai moi-même voir. " Mais quand il est entré dans la Présence de Jésus, Jésus a dit: " Voici un Israélite, dans lequel il n'y a point de fraude."
Et quand Jésus a dit cela, Nathanaël a dit: " Quand m'as-Tu connu, Rabbi?"
Il a dit: " Avant que Philippe t'appelât, quand tu étais sous l'arbre, Je t'ai vu."
Il a dit: " Tu es le Fils de Dieu, Tu es le Roi d'Israël. "
| E-51 Now, I believe that we're at another conference. That's the coming of the Son of God. He said to His disciples, "I do not know the minute or hour. No one knows, not even the Angels. But there'll be a conference someday," in other wise. "And the Father will decide that moment that I'll come back." I believe that conference is going on, and the decisions is being made. His Spirit is coming to the earth so strong, till It'll stand in the congregation, discern the thoughts of the mind. As the Bible said, "The Word of God is quicker, more powerful than a two-edged sword, piercing even to the marrow of the bone, and a discerner of the thoughts of the heart."
When Philip come and was converted, and went and got Nathanael, and Nathanael was brought, the Jew, up before Jesus, and he'd been telling about Him, said, "Well, Nathanael, why, a few days ago, an old ignorant fisherman come to Him, and He knowed and called his name, told him who he was. Don't you know that Messiah, that our prophet said would come, don't you realize that that Messiah was to be a prophet? a God-prophet? There He is. That's Him."
Nathanael must've said, "I don't believe that. I will go see for myself."
But when he walked into the Presence of Jesus, Jesus said, "Behold an Israelite in whom there is no guile."
And when He did that, he said, "When did You know me, Rabbi?"
Said, "Before Philip called you when you were under the tree, I saw you."
He said, "You are the Son of God. You're the King of Israel."

E-52 Quand la femme samaritaine, qui avait eu cinq maris, est venue devant Lui et qu'elle a dit... Quand elle s'est mise à puiser de l'eau, elle a vu ce Juif assis. Il a dit: " Apporte-Moi à boire."
Voyez-vous, Il avait soif comme un homme. Il était un Homme. Dans Son corps, Il était un homme; dans son Esprit, Il était Dieu. Dieu habitait en Christ, réconciliant le monde avec Lui-même.
Il a dit: " Apporte-Moi à boire."
Et elle a dit: " Eh bien, il n'est pas de coutume... " En d'autres termes: " Nous avons une ségrégation, Tu ne devrais pas me demander cela."
Il a dit: " Mais si seulement tu savais à qui tu parlais..."
Oh! je me demande ce matin si nous savons ce qu'il y a dans cette salle. Si seulement nous savions que le Saint-Esprit Lui-même, Celui qui témoignera en notre faveur ou contre nous au jour du Jugement est ici même dans la salle et qu'Il connaît nos pensées.
" Si seulement tu savais Qui te parle, c'est toi qui Me demanderais à boire."
Elle a dit: " Le puits est profond."
Il a continué à lui parler jusqu'à ce qu'Il a saisi son esprit. Et Il a dit: " Va chercher ton mari et viens ici."
Elle a dit: " Je n'en ai point."
Il a dit: " Tu as eu raison de dire cela; tu en as eu cinq, et celui avec qui tu vis maintenant n'est pas ton mari."
Elle a dit: " Seigneur, je vois que Tu es Prophète. Eh bien, nous savons que lorsque le Messie viendra, Il fera ces choses. Mais Toi, qui es-Tu?
Jésus a dit: " Je Le suis. " Oh! la la! " Je Le suis, Moi qui te parle."
C'était un simple Homme demandant à boire, pas une grosse histoire fleurie venue du Ciel, il n'y avait pas un trône blanc installé là, mais un Homme demandant un verre d'eau pour étancher Sa soif. " Je Le suis, Moi qui te parle."
Et elle est entrée dans la ville en courant et a dit: " Venez voir un Homme qui m'a dit ce que j'ai fait. Ne serait-ce pas le signe du Messie? Ne serait-ce pas Lui? "
| E-52 When the woman of Samaria, having five husbands come to Him, and she said... When she started to get her water, she seen this Jew setting. He said, "Bring me a drink."
See, He thirsted like a man. He was a man. In His body He was a man; in Spirit, He was God. God dwelt in Christ reconciling the world to Himself.
He said, "Bring Me a drink."
And she said, "Why, it's not customary..." In other words, "We got a segregation, shouldn't ask me that."
He said, "But if you only knew Who you were talking to..."
Oh, I wonder this morning if we know what's in this room. If we only knew that the Holy Spirit Himself, the One that'll witness for us or against us at the day of judgment is right here in the room, and knows our thoughts.
"If you only knew Who it was that speaks with you, you'd ask Me for a drink."
She said, "The well's deep."
He kept on talking to her till He caught her spirit. And He said, "Go, get your husband and come here."
She said, "I have none."
Said, "You've said well; you've had five; and the one that you're now living with is not your husband."
She said, "Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet. Now, we know when the Messiah cometh, He will do these things. But Who are You?"
Jesus said, "I'm He." Oh, my. "I'm He that speaks with you." A mere man asking for a drink, not a great flowerly something out of heaven, not the white throne setting there, but a Man asking for a drink of water to quench His thirst. "I'm He that speaks with you."
And she run into the city and said, "Come, see a Man Who's told me the things I've done. Isn't that the sign of the Messiah? Isn't that He?"

E-53 Cette même Personne qui a prophétisé par les prophètes autrefois dans l'Ancien Testament, a dit: " Il viendra un jour où les gens vont... " En d'autres termes, ils se joindront tout simplement à l'église, ils iront à l'église et seront de très braves gens. Et ils auront des organisations et tout. Et " ce sera un jour sombre qui ne sera ni jour ni nuit. Mais au temps du soir, il y aura de la lumière ".
Ces prophéties doivent s'accomplir. Vous souvenez-vous de notre conférence au Ciel hier soir? Dieu avait fait venir tous les anges pour tenir une conférence, pour voir qui pourrait amener la parole du prophète à s'accomplir, amener Elie... je veux dire Achab là-bas pour qu'il soit tué?
Eh bien, il y a une conférence en cours au Ciel. Les lumières du soir sont ici. Des bombes atomiques et tout sont suspendues partout. Et nous sommes au temps de la fin. Les conférences mondiales sont arrivées à la fin. Le temps de la conférence de Dieu approche. Ces paroles-ci doivent être accomplies pour les Gentils: " Les oeuvres que Je fais, vous les ferez aussi. " L'heure est là. La conférence a été tenue. L'Esprit est ici.
| E-53 That same One prophesied with the prophets back in the Old Testament, said, "It'll be a day that when they'll..." Otherwise, just join church, and go to church, and be pretty good people. And they'll have organizations and things. And "It'll be a dismal day; neither dark nor light. But in the evening time, it shall be light."
Them prophecies must be fulfilled. Remember last night, our conference in heaven? God had brought up all the Angels around to held a conference, who He could make the prophet's word come to pass, bring Elijah out... I mean Ahab out there to kill him?
Now, there's a conference going on in heaven. The evening lights are here. Atomic bombs and things are hanging everywhere. And we're at the end time. World conferences has come to an end. God's conference time is coming. These words must be fulfilled to the Gentiles, "The works that I do shall you do also." The time is here. The conference has been held. The Spirit is here.

E-54 A présent, mon ami, pour terminer je vais dire ceci: Vous êtes à une conférence ce matin. Vous y êtes. On est sur le point de plaider votre cause. Dieu a permis à Ses prophètes d'y regarder et ils ont dit: " Les livres furent ouverts ainsi qu'un autre livre, qui est le Livre de Vie. Des myriades et des myriades de prédicateurs et d'anges Le servaient. " Et là, il est écrit: " Si le juste se sauve avec peine, où seront le pécheur et l'impie?"
Quelle sera votre position à cette conférence-là? Peut-être que vous les avez évitées toutes durant votre vie. Vous pourriez franchir cette porte ce matin et éviter celle-ci. Mais, mon ami, vous n'éviterez jamais celle-là. Vous vous y trouverez. " Car il est réservé aux hommes de mourir une seule fois, après quoi vient le jugement. " Il y aura la grande conférence où nous nous tiendrons tous ensemble et nous allons rendre compte pour ce matin, au sujet de cette conférence terrestre que nous avons tenue ce matin.
| E-54 Now, friend, in closing I'll say this: You're at a conference this morning. You are. And your case is ready to be pleaded. Your--your case of sickness is ready to be pleaded before a merciful God. Your sin case is ready to be pleaded before a merciful God. And be sure that you accept it.
Well, let me tell you, I'm going to speak of the last conference that'll ever be held. God be merciful. Only one thing will stand there reconciled, that's the judgment. And the only thing you'll be reconciled by, is when you've accepted the Blood of Jesus Christ as your pardon and been filled with His Spirit.
There's a conference where every man will meet, every woman will meet, every child will meet. There is a place selected where that conference will be held. And there'll be a great white throne judgment set. God has permitted His prophets to look in, and said, "The Books were opened, and another book, which is the Book of Life. Ten thousands times ten thousands of ministers and Angels minister to Him." And there was written, "If the righteous be scarcely saved, where will the sinner and ungodly appear."
What'll be your stand at that conference? You might've bypassed all of them down through your life. You may walk out of this door this morning and bypass this one. But, my friend, you'll never bypass that one. You are going to be there. "For it was once appointed unto men to die; but after that the judgment." There'll be the great conference where we'll all stand together, and we'll give an account for this morning, of this earthly conference that we've held this morning.

| E-55 If you are a sinner, accept His mercy while we pray, as you bow your head. Just before we pray, and you with your heads bowed, I wonder this morning, setting in this conference, if the Holy Spirit hasn't said to you, "You're guilty."
And maybe you say, "Holy Spirit, You see, it's like this..." That's what Moses said at the Red Sea conference. "It's like this, Lord. I've come this far, but I can't go any farther. There's something in my way." There may be something in your way. But remember, God told Moses, "Go, speak to the children of Israel, and go forward."
You'd like to be remembered in a word of prayer, would you just raise your hands, and say, "Pray for me, brother." God bless you. My, all over the building, dozens of hands.

E-56 Père céleste, malgré cette voix brisée, plutôt épuisée par la prédication, cependant d'une façon ou d'une autre, le Glorieux Saint-Esprit a donné au peuple le sens de la pensée quand le prophète a dit: " Venez maintenant, plaidons, dit l'Eternel. Venez maintenant, tenons une conférence ensemble juste dans ces sièges où nous sommes assis. Je suis assis ici à côté de Toi; je Te parle."
" Mais, Seigneur, j'ai péché ", dit le pécheur. " J'ai fait tant de choses. Je - je ne crois pas que Tu puisses me pardonner, Seigneur. Je suis un ivrogne; je suis une prostituée; je suis une... oh! une personne de mauvaise réputation. Je ne crois pas, Seigneur, qu'il y ait une chance pour moi."
Alors en réponse, nous entendons ces merveilleuses Paroles: " Si vos péchés sont comme le cramoisi, ils deviendront blancs comme la neige; s'ils sont rouges comme la pourpre (ôtant la vie de plusieurs petits bébés avant leur naissance et - et des choses horribles), s'ils sont rouges comme la pourpre, ils deviendront blancs comme la laine d'un agneau. " Quelle miséricorde! " Plaidons ensemble", dit donc Dieu.
| E-56 Heavenly Father, with this broken voice, rather shattered from preaching. But somehow or another, the great Holy Spirit has give the people the thought that was meant when the prophet said, "Come now, let us reason together, saith the Lord. Now, come, let us hold a conference with each other, right in this seat where we're sitting. I'm sitting here by the side of You; I'm talking to You."
"But Lord, I've sinned," says the sinner. "I've done so much. I--I don't believe You can forgive me, Lord. I'm a drunkard; I'm a prostitute; I'm a... oh, an ill-famed person. I don't believe, Lord, there'd be any chance for me."
Then we hear the beautiful Words come back, "Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white like snow; though they be red like crimson (taking the life of many little babies before they're born and--and things that's been horrible); though they be red like crimson, they shall be white as a wool of a lamb." What mercy! "Let us reason together," saith God now.

E-57 Venons et tenons cette conférence, Seigneur, et - et Tu parles à Ton peuple. Ils ont levé leurs mains. Et qu'à la fin de la route, Tu puisses dire: " C'est bien, Mon bon et fidèle serviteur. Tu as été fidèle ce matin-là au croisement de la 8e rue et de la rue Penn. Maintenant entre dans la joie du Seigneur qui a été préparée pour toi depuis la fondation du monde."
Seigneur, mon Dieu et mon Père, je Te les confie. Je ne peux rien faire de plus. Je suis juste Ton prédicateur. Et je ne peux rien faire de plus. Ils sont à Toi. Traite avec eux, Père, selon les besoins de leurs coeurs. Nous leur permettons, ou plutôt nous Te les confions au Nom de Ton Fils, Jésus-Christ. Amen.
| E-57 Let us come hold this conference, Lord, and--and You're speaking to Your people. They raised their hands. That shows that You're setting by them, for it's written in the Scripture, "No man can come to Me except My Father draws him first. And all that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and I'll give them Everlasting Life and raise them up at the last day." Now, grant, Lord, that each one that raised their hands, and those that did not raise their hand, wherever Your little individual conferences are being held in this building just now with the people, may they accept Your pardoning grace, and be filled with Your Spirit, and washed in Your Blood. And at the end of the road, may You say, "It is well done, my good faithful servant. You were faithful that morning at Eighth and Penn Street. Now, enter into the joys of the Lord that's been prepared for you since the foundation of the world.
Lord, my God and my Father, I commit them to You. I can do no more. I'm just Your preacher. And I can do no more. They're Yours. Deal with them, Father, according to their needs of their heart. We permit them--or commit them to Thee in the Name of Thy Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Ainsi maintenant, vous chères personnes qui avez levé la main, le pas suivant que vous devez faire, si vous n'avez pas été baptisé, c'est de vous faire baptiser au Nom de Jésus-Christ pour le pardon de vos péchés. C'est cela la prescription du médecin, le docteur Simon Pierre, qui avait les clefs du Royaume, pour vous dire comment entrer.
Le jour de la Pentecôte, les gens ont dit: " Que devons-nous faire pour être sauvés?"
Il a dit: " Repentez-vous, chacun de vous ( c'est ce que vous venez de faire), puis que chacun de vous soit baptisé au Nom de Jésus-Christ pour le pardon de vos péchés ", pour montrer aux gens et au monde que vous croyez à la mort, à l'ensevelissement et à la résurrection de Jésus-Christ; Il a pris vos péchés. " Alors vous recevrez le don du Saint-Esprit. Car la promesse est pour vous, pour vos enfants, pour tous ceux qui sont au loin, en aussi grand nombre que le Seigneur notre Dieu les appellera. "
| E-58 If you have ever noticed at the Tabernacle, I do not permit people to go pull people to an altar. I don't believe in that. If God don't bring you, it won't do no good for somebody else to. "No man can come except My Father draws him. And all that the Father..." And the Father draws you because your name's on the Lamb's Book of Life. "And all that He has given Me will come to Me." Whether you're in your seat, at the altar, wherever you're at, you'll come. That's exactly truth. Jesus said so.
So now, you dear people that raised your hands, the next step for you to take, if you haven't been baptized, is to be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ for remission of your sins. That's the doctor's prescription, Doctor Simon Peter, who had the keys to the Kingdom, to will tell you how to enter.
On the day of Pentecost, they said, "What must we do to be saved?"
He said, "Repent, every one of you (That's what you've just done.), then be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins," to show to the people and the world that you believe death, burial, resurrection of Jesus Christ; He took your sins. "Then you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you and to your children, to them that are far off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call."

E-59 Suivez cette instruction. Si ce n'est pas à ce tabernacle-ci, c'est au tabernacle que vous fréquentez, à l'église que vous fréquentez, où que ce soit. Ne vous tenez pas à l'écart. Allez directement vers un corps de croyants spirituels. Allez chez les Assemblées de Dieu, à l'Eglise de Dieu, chez les pentecôtistes unitaires, binitaires, trinitaires, quoi que ce soit, peu m'importe où vous allez. Mais allez rapidement vers une église. Communiez là-bas.
S'ils enseignent peut-être de petites choses que vous ne... vous ne... Vous dites: " Eh bien, frère Branham ne l'a pas enseigné comme cela. " Eh bien, ça ne change rien de toute façon. Si vous avez le Saint-Esprit, avancez. Joignez-vous à eux. Continuez votre chemin.
De toute façon, nous allons - nous allons tous aboutir à une seule église. Quand le temple de Salomon était taillé à travers le monde, il a été taillé à travers le monde, différentes pierres étranges et tout le reste. Toutes ces grandes églises qui ont le Saint-Esprit vont s'unir ce jour-là à leurs places appropriées dans le Corps de Christ pour l'Enlèvement. Allez donc simplement là où les gens croient l'Evangile.
| E-59 Follow that instruction. If it's not at this tabernacle, at the tabernacle where you go to, the church where you go to, wherever it is. Don't stay out. Get right quick to a body of spiritual believers. Go to the Assemblies of God, the Church of God, the Pentecostal Oneness, the Pentecostal twoness, threeness, whatever it might be, I don't care where you go. But get quickly to a church. Put your fellowship in there.
If they teach little things, maybe, that you don't... you don't... Say, "Well, Brother Branham didn't teach it like that." Well, don't make any difference anyhow. If you've got the Holy Ghost, move on. Get with them. Push on.
We're--we're all going to come to one anyhow. When Solomon's temple was cut out across the world, it was cut from all over the world, different funny looking stones and everything else. But when they begin to come together, there wasn't a buzz of a saw or the sound of a hammer. Forty years in the erecting of the temple, they never heard one hammer beat or one saw buzz. They were all cut out just right.
All these great churches that's got the Holy Spirit will move right together in their fitted places at that day in the Body of Christ for the rapture. So just get to where they believe the Gospel.

Now, we're not against doctors. I have many precious doctor friends who are my buddies, fine men who believe in God. And I pray for them, and they even pray for me. That's right.
They get a patient they can't do nothing with, many fine doctors... 'Course, I hold back their name. Maybe they're not filled with the Holy Ghost and things, but they're good men. They say, "Brother Branham, there's nothing I can do with that case, if you'll take it..."
I say, "Send it over. Let me... I can't do it. I'll permit it to Jesus--commit it to Jesus Christ. Let Him do it." See? So that's fine.

E-62 Mais suivez. Si jamais une guérison se produit, c'est Christ qui l'a opérée. Le médecin peut ôter une obstruction, arracher une dent, ou - ou retrancher quelque chose, ôter l'appendice, prendre... ôter un cancer, ôter une verrue ou faire une opération de quelque chose d'autre, mettre un poison en vous pour tuer les germes. Mais rien en dehors de Dieu ne peut guérir, car il faut une création pour faire repousser la chose. Et aucun médicament ne peut créer. Voyez-vous? Il n'y a qu'un seul Créateur, c'est Dieu. Donc le Psaume 103... Voyez-vous, toutes les Ecritures sont vraies. " Je suis l'Eternel qui guéris toutes tes maladies."
Cela ne veut pas dire que le médecin n'a rien à faire là-dedans; si, il a sa part. Si je me fracturais le bras, mon devoir serait d'aller chez un médecin qui sait remettre ce bras en place. Mais il ne peut pas guérir ce bras. Il ne peut que le remettre en place, remettre les os en place. Et alors Dieu fournit le calcium et tout, Il crée cela, la matière qui, à l'intérieur de mon bras, fait que la chose se remette ensemble. C'est Dieu qui guérit. Voyez-vous?
| E-62 But look. If there's ever any healing takes place, Christ will be the One that does it. The doctor can move an obstruction, pull a tooth, or--or cut a place off, take appendix out, take--cut a cancer off, cut a wart off, or operate for something else, put poison in you to kill germs. But there's nothing can heal besides God, 'cause it has to be a creation grow it back. And no medicine will create. See? There's only one Creator, that's God. Then Psalms 103... See, all the Scriptures are true. "I'm the Lord Who heals all of your diseases."
That don't say the doctor hasn't got a part in it; yes he has. If I break my arm, my duty's to go to a doctor that knows how to set that arm. But he can't heal that arm. He can only set it, place the bones back into place. And then God furnishes the calcium and so forth, and creates it, the material that, inside my arm, that grows it back together. God's the Healer. See?

But when He went to the Roman centurion, he said, "I'm not worthy You come under my house. Stand out there where You are, and just speak the Word." He realized the authority that Jesus had. He said, "I'm a man under authority. I've got a..." He's a centurion; it meant--it meant a hundred men under him. He said, "If I say to this man, 'Do this,' he does it; and that man, 'Do that,' he does it." He said, "And You have the authority over every disease, and every affliction, and everything. They're all at Your command. You're the great Commander." Oh, I like that, that even touched the heart of Jesus.
And He turned around to them, to the Jewish people, and said, "I've not found faith like that in Israel."

She said, "That's the truth, Lord." Oh, I like that. "That's the truth." Said, "But You know, the dogs under the table eat the children's crumbs." That touched Him. She said like you did the other day, Hattie, the right thing.
He turned and He said, "For this saying, the devil's left your daughter." Didn't have to go to her and lay hands on her.

Considérez Actes 19, quand il y avait ce groupe de Juifs à Ephèse, il a dû leur imposer les mains pour qu'ils reçoivent le Saint-Esprit. Mais pendant qu'il était chez Corneille et qu'il prononçait ces paroles, le Saint-Esprit est tombé sur eux. Sans imposition des mains. Le Saint-Esprit est tombé quand ils ont entendu la vérité. But while he was at Cornelius' house, while he spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on them. No laying on of hands. The Holy Ghost fell when they heard the truth. They were hungry and waiting for It.

Quand Philippe est allé trouver Nathanaël, Il a dit: " Tu es un - Tu es un brave et honnête homme."
Il a dit: " Eh bien, Rabbi, quand m'as-Tu connu?"
Il a dit: " Avant que Pierre t'appelât, quand tu étais sous l'arbre, Je t'ai vu. " A quinze miles [environ 24 km - N.D.T.] de l'autre coté de la montagne, à une journée de marche. " Je t'ai vu."
Il a dit: " Tu es le Fils de Dieu, le Roi d'Israël. "
| E-66 Are you that hungry for healing this morning? Then let the Holy Spirit speak, that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. You believe that? Did He say, "The works that I do shall you also."?
How did He declare Himself to the people to be their Messiah, the Jew's Messiah? How did He do it to the Jews? By telling them the secret of their heart. They recognized Him the Messiah. How many knows that's true? Sure.
When the--Peter come, and He said, "Your name is Peter." And said, "Or your name is Cephas." Said, "You'll be called Peter. Your father's name was Jonas." That settled it. He knew that was the Messiah.
When Philip went and found Nathanael, He said, "You're a--you're a good honest man."
He said, "Now, Rabbi, when'd You know me?"
Said, "Before Philip called you, when you were under the tree, I saw you." Fifteen miles around the mountain's a day's journey. "I saw you."
He said, "You're the Son of God, the King of Israel."

He said, "I'm the Messiah. I'm He that you're speaking of."
She left that water pot (a prostitute and desperate. How... condition she was.), and run into the city, and said to those men, "Come, see a Man Who told me what's in my heart. Isn't that the Messiah? Isn't that the Messiah?"

But israel had to be blinded in order to give us a chance. We love them. Don't you worry, they'll blossom again.
"What the palmerworm left, the caterpillar eaten; what the caterpillar left has the locust eaten; but I will restore, saith the Lord." That was just eaten for a spell so that we could be brought in. Our eyes are open.

Or just that you might see... Now, God don't have to do this. An... Everyone know that? Jesus didn't have to heal anybody when He was on earth. Did you know that? But He did it that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet. Is that right? He does this that the Word might be fulfilled, "As it was in the days of Sodom, so shall it be in the coming of the Son of man."

But He was a Man, God, in His people.

Notice. But this One stood back there with the elect church, Abraham and his group, the circumcised, the real ones. He said... Lot was a... The one that lives in the city, and has big times. And see how his daughters was, and how sons was, and everything. That's just like the world today. Sodom's sin and everything. That's the church nominal. But the Church spiritual is a called out group, separated.
What kind of an Angel come to them. Now, let's watch it. Now, remember, your Lord said, "As it was then, so will it be at the coming of the Son of man." Jesus said so, that, "Heavens and earth will pass away, but My Words will never fail." Now, listen close and be quiet.

| E-73 Now, this Angel's talked to Abraham. He said, "Abraham, where is your wife, Sarah?" How did He know he was married? How'd He know he had a wife? And how did He know her name was Sarah? Strange, wasn't it.
And Abraham said, "She's in the tent behind You." Uh-huh.
He said, "Abraham, seeing that--that you believe God, and you're going to be heir to the world, all the Gentiles and all will be brought into the Kingdom by your seed, by yo... The promise is made to you. I'll not keep any pro--anything hid from you, Abraham." Oh, I love that. "I won't hide this from you, Abraham. But you've believed Me for that baby for twenty-five years. Now, you're a hundred years old, and she's ninety. But Abraham, according to the time of life..." In a mixed audience, you know what I mean, the twenty-eight days. She'd stopped fifty years or more... Yeah, sixty years before that. Said, "According to the time of life with Sarah, I'm going to visit you again, and you're going to bring that baby."
And Sarah, behind Him, in the tent, flaps closed, laughed within herself. Just... [Brother Branham demonstrates--Ed.] And said in herself, "Could I have pleasure with my lord?" What do you call your husband? "Will I have pleasure with my lord again, seeing that I'm old, and he's old too?"
And the Angel, with His back turned, said, "Why did Sarah laugh?" What made her laugh?
Don't you see? What kind of a Spirit, what kind of an Angel was that a visiting that elect church there. Now, Jesus said that same thing will take place just before His coming. There'll be a sign of His coming.

" Si je Le touche, je serai guérie. " Elle L'a donc touché et elle est retournée dans la foule. Elle a dit: " Oh! je suis sûre que je suis guérie, car je crois cela. J'ai cru cela. Je sais que je suis guérie. Je - je crois simplement que la perte de sang a cessé maintenant même. Je le crois tout simplement."
Jésus s'est arrêté, Il a dit: " Dis donc, qui M'a touché?"

Here's what--here's what the Seed of Abraham did, Jesus, when He was on earth: one day, He was passing through a crowd of people. And all of them was saying, "Hello, Rabbi. Good morning, doctor. How are You, reverend. Glad to meet You, reverend, glad to have You over here. Going to hold a meeting while You're over here?"
And a poor little woman had a need. So she slipped through the crowd, and she touched His garment; for she said within herself, "If I'll just touch that holy Man." See, her faith. See? "If I touch Him, I will be made well." So she touched Him, and went back out in the crowd. She said, "Oh, I'm sure I'm healed, because I believe that. I believed it. I know I'm healed. I--I just believe the blood issue's stopping right now. I just believe it."
Jesus stopped, said, "Say, who touched Me?"
What a question! Peter said... In other words, "Lord, what's the matter with You?" The Bible said he rebuked Him. Said, "What do You mean by that? Why, everybody's touching You. How do You come to say, You being the Messiah. Aren't You afraid You're going to expose Yourself here before these people? Who touched Me? And I'll bet there's been five hundred touch You in the last minute. What would You say such a thing as that?"
He said, "But this was a different touch. (See?) I perceive that I got weak. Virtue..." Anyone knows "virtue" is "strength." "I got weak. Strength went out of Me." And He looked around, looked around. See, there's faith out there somewhere. He looked around. And He found the little woman. The Holy Spirit that was in Him in the fullness, directed Him right to the little woman. And that blood issue she'd had, He said, "Your faith... Now, I never healed you. I never had nothing to do with it. But your faith in Who... And God, Who I'm representing, your faith has made you whole."

But if you had a spoonful of water out of the ocean, the same chemicals is in the whole ocean is in the spoonful. Remember that. That's right. It's the same God.
Now, the Bible said in Hebrews, he said that Jesus Christ, right now, is a High Priest that can be touched by the feeling of our infirmities. How many knows that? Well, if He is the same High Priest, wouldn't He act the same way if He was touched? What are we? His mouthpiece. We submit ourselves to Him, and our words are not our words. "Take no thought what you shall say, 'cause it's not you that speaks," it's the Father that dwelleth in you, He speaks.

Mais la seule chose qu'Il puisse faire, c'est vous secouer ou vous amener à comprendre qu'Il est toujours Dieu et qu'Il tient Sa promesse.
Ainsi, en faisant cela, Il oint des prédicateurs. Il s'agit de ces braves hommes qui se tiennent par ici et de beaucoup qui sont là derrière. Il les oint pour qu'ils prêchent. Accorde-leur le désir de leurs coeurs, Seigneur. Nous Te remercions pour ceci et prions que Tu bénisses simplement ces gens et leur donne ce dont ils ont besoin, par Jésus-Christ, notre Seigneur. The one standing right behind her is some relation. That young woman is relation somehow, but she's only by marriage. Uh-huh. A niece by marriage... She's bothered about her salvation too. That's right. And she's got diabetes, a young woman. Exactly true.
You believe? Let's just raise our hands to God. O Lord, Creator of heavens and earth, Author of Life, Giver of every good gift, send Thy Presence into the midst of the people now. You're a believer. If you feel that Holy Spirit; it's on you. Maybe not in a gift like this, but that Holy Spirit's on you.

Nous avons soutenu que Tu es Dieu, nous avons soutenu que Tu es Dieu, et que Tu es ici. Et maintenant, nous avons reçu de Toi la commission de nous imposer les mains les uns aux autres. Now, don't you pray for yourself; you pray for the person you got your hands on. That'll make every one of you praying for one another.
Now, Lord Jesus, the Son of God, Who has raised from the dead, even the threats of Pontius Pilate and the Roman government seal could not hold You in the grave. And God, the Almighty, came down on the day of the Easter and rolled back the stone, breaking the seal, and You rose up and was with Your disciples forty days, commissioned them to go into the world and do these things that's being done now. That's been two thousand years ago.
Lord, You are God. You cannot fail. You're here. This conference this morning that we've had, we've reasoned together about these things. We've reasoned that You're God, reasoned the reason that You are God, and the reason that You're here. And now, we have a commission from You to lay hands on one another. That's what You commissioned us to do. You said, "These signs shall follow them that believe: If they lay their hands on the sick they shall recover." That's our commission from the conference. Now, Lord, obedience is better than sacrifice, hearkening than the fats of rams.

Satan, tu n'es qu'un bluff. Nous t'avons dénoncé. Le moment est venu où Jésus-Christ s'est manifesté devant les Gentils. Maintenant, Satan, tu es vaincu. Autrefois tu as retenu les gens. Tu n'as maintenant aucun droit légal. Au Calvaire, Jésus-Christ t'a dépouillé de tous les droits que tu avais. Il a payé l'entièreté du prix et Il a dit: " C'est accompli. " Tout le plan entier du salut, toute la guérison, tout a été accompli au Calvaire. Et on t'a arraché tout ce que tu possédais auparavant à cause du péché et à cause de la chute. Maintenant, nous sommes rachetés par le Sang de Jésus et tu ne peux plus nous retenir. Nous disons: " Quitte-nous au Nom du Seigneur Jésus-Christ. "
| E-90 Now, Lord, as Your servant, I commission and command every devil, every spirit, every sickness, every affliction, every contrary thing that's bothering these people in the Presence of God... By the witness of the Holy Ghost, by the commission of an Angel sent to me, I challenge this spirit by the Word of God, this spirit of sickness and affliction, come out of the people in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and let them be well. Let them go.
Satan, you're just a bluff. We called your hand. The time has come when Jesus Christ has manifested Hisself in the presence of the Gentiles. Now, Satan, you are defeated. One time you held people. You have no legal rights now. Jesus Christ stripped you of every right that you had at Calvary. He paid the full price and said, "It is finished." Every complete plan of salvation, all the healing, all was finished at Calvary. And you were taken from you, everything that you once possessed through sin and through the fall. Now, we are redeemed by the Blood of Jesus and you cannot hold us any longer. We say, "Leave us in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ."

" Je crois maintenant même que le Saint-Esprit se manifeste à moi, me prouvant que Dieu est ici. Je crois en Lui. C'est une oeuvre achevée. J'ai Cela. C'est ma possession. Je suis maintenant rempli du Saint-Esprit. Mes maladies, mes douleurs et peines sont en train de partir. Toutes mes afflictions me quittent. " C'est de cette manière qu'il faut prier, avec la tête inclinée, les yeux fermés. (Crois seulement.)

| E-91 Now, keep your hands on one another. Keep praying. Keep your hands... Keep praying. Each one of you just thinking, "God is near. God's Spirit is here. God is healing me. His goodness, His mercy, His kindness, His promise is being made real in me."
We could preach on for weeks and weeks. It wouldn't make any difference now; the Holy Spirit's here. That's all It could do anytime, be right here now.
"Right now I believe the Holy Spirit manifest to me, proving to me that God is here. I believe Him. It's a finished work. I have It. It's my possession. I now am filling with the Holy Spirit. My diseases, my aches and pains are leaving. All of my afflictions are going away from me." That's the way to be praying, with your head bowed, eyes closed. ("Only believe.")
