Je voudrais dire que ceci a été l'un des plus beaux réveils, ou l'une des plus belles séries de réunions que j'aie jamais tenues. Pour moi, elle - elle est mémorable, cette série de réunions. Je n'ai jamais eu une occasion dans ma vie où j'ai eu plus de liberté, où je me suis senti plus libre de prêcher les convictions mêmes de mon coeur comme pendant cette série de réunions. Et ça a été un temps merveilleux.
Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment à la communion des Hommes d'Affaires, et aussi un merveilleux moment ce matin à l'église de frère Sullivan. Et nous avons fait connaissance avec beaucoup de braves personnes, et nous apprécions certainement tout ceci. Et nous voudrions dire à... (s'il arrive que certaines de ces - ces personnes soient présentes, et même si elles ne sont pas là), vous qui vous occupez de cet endroit, nous voulons remercier les gens qui nous ont accordé ce terrain, ce Chatauqua. Nous apprécions cela, mes amis. Et puisse cela subsister longtemps pour être au service du Seigneur. Nous apprécions donc cela de tout notre coeur.
| E-1 Lord bless you; may be seated. I am sorry that we don't have another couple of weeks of this. I want to say that this has been one of the finest revivals, or meetings, that I have ever had. It--it ranks a red letter to me, this meeting. I've never had a time in my life that I ever had any more liberty, and felt any more freer just to preach the very conviction of my heart, then what I have in this meeting. And it's been a wonderful time.
We had a wonderful time at the Businessmen's fellowship, and also a wonderful time down at Brother Sullivan's church this morning. And we've met so many fine people, and we sure appreciate all this. And we want to say to (if there happens to be some of the--the people that's present, and if not), you who tend to such we want to thank the people that let us have this grounds, this Chatauqua. We appreciate that, my friends. And may it long stand for a purpose to serve the Lord. Now we appreciate it with all of our heart.

We got books; they sell them. And they belong to someone else. Brother Lindsay owns one of them, and Brother Julius Stadsklev owns the other. And we buy them at forty cents less on the book, then we have to pay for bringing them, pay for selling them, stand the loss, and you see what we are? It's always in the red, the books are. Every time we take an inventory on that, we're always behind.

Elle n'en avait que quarante.
J'observais la dame qui vendait les livres, elle a dit: "Eh bien, ça coûte soixante cents." Je me suis approché, je lui en ai pris deux ou trois, et je les lui ai donnés. Vous voyez? Ainsi... Et je sais... Et si c'était ma mère?
| E-4 Because I've told the boys and all, if they find any person that wants a book, and they haven't got the money to pay for it, take it anyhow; take the book anyhow. And I seen the first night when we started on books, the little old mother standing back there with... fumbling in her pocketbook, trying to get out sixty cents. She didn't have but forty.
I watched the lady that was selling the books, said, "Well, they are sixty cents." I walked right around, got her two or three, and give them to her. See? So... And I know... What if that was my mother?

(5) Les garçons vendent les bandes là-bas. Et il n'y a pas longtemps, je contrôlais les garçons, Gene et Leo. Gene, c'est le garçon qui s'occupe des bandes pour moi; Leo, c'est mon secrétaire dans le champ de mission. Et ils ont des disques et des bandes, et j'ai contrôlé ces garçons moi-même pour voir à quel prix ils vendaient ces bandes, car j'ai acheté une bande d'un - un évangéliste, elle m'a coûté autour de six dollars. Alors je... Ils les vendent à deux dollars et quelques. J'ai donc vu à quel prix les gens les achetaient, elles sont tout simplement un... C'est tout juste une petite marge bénéficiaire, tout ce qu'ils réalisent. Et ils prennent, je leur ai dit de prendre les meilleures bandes qu'ils puissent trouver, et ils utilisent les bandes Scotch. Ils ont ces bandes... N'importe quel message ou quoi que ce soit...
| E-5 And another thing, the books are not for commercial; they're to try to help somebody. The boys sells the tapes down there. And here some time ago, I checked up on the boys, Gene and Leo. Gene's my tape boy; Leo is my field secretary. And they have records and tapes, and I checked those boys myself to see what price they're selling those tapes for, 'cause I bought a tape from a--an evangelist. It cost me around six dollars. Then I... They're getting two dollars and something for them. So I seen what they paid for them, and they're just a... Barely a little margin's all they make. And they get (I told them) get the best tape they could get, and they use it on Scotch tape. They have those tapes--any message or anything...

E-6 Et maintenant, parfois...
(6) Je voudrais clarifier ceci. Eh bien, chaque homme a ses propres convictions; vous avez votre propre doctrine. Quand je suis ici parmi ces groupes interdénominationnels, j'essaie de m'en tenir aux grandes doctrines évangéliques fondamentales, à cause des autres frères ministres. Et je voudrais que les frères ministres sachent ceci: parfois, dans ma propre église, je prêche mes convictions personnelles sur les choses. Eh bien, là-dedans... Beaucoup enregistrent les bandes, et parfois celles-ci sortent.
Or, je ne voudrais rien imposer à quelqu'un de ce que je crois, juste un petit quelque chose que j'ai dans ma propre tête, et que je pense être comme tel. Et si je ne prêchais pas cela tel que je le conçois, je serais un hypocrite. Je ne touche donc pas à cet aspect, et je mets à prêcher des choses sur lesquelles je sais que les autres sont d'accord, vous voyez, et je vais de l'avant.
| E-6 And now, sometimes... I want to make this clear. Now every man has his own idea; we have your own doctrine. When I'm out here in this interdenominational, I try to hold it to the great fundamental, evangelical doctrines, because of other ministering brother. And I want the ministering brothers to know this: Sometimes in my own church, I preach my own convictions about things. Now, in there... There's many people takes the tapes, and sometimes they get out.
Now, I would not want to push anything that I believed over on anybody, just a little something that I had in my own mind, and thought it was this a way. And if I didn't teach it the way I thought it, I'd be a hypocrite. So I'll just leave that part alone, and go preach what I know that the rest of them agrees with (You see?) and go on.

Ainsi, je suis ici pour collaborer, pour faire de cela un grand Corps de Jésus-Christ. C'est tout. Et après tout, ce qui est très fondamental dans cela, c'est la repentance, le baptême, la foi en Dieu, le salut et la guérison divine. Et je crois que nous pouvons tous être d'accord là-dessus (Voyez-vous?), sur ces choses.
| E-7 But now, if you happen to get a hold--some of your members, brother, get a hold of a tape that come from my church, upon something that you might not agree with me, please don't fall out with me about it. I'm your brother; I--I love you, and I--I don't mean for them to get out. But you can't help it when there's twenty or thirty taking tapes and everything. See? And so, we try to curb it the very best we can. The church took it upon themselves, the foundation, to--to try to hold the boys alone when they're taking tapes on my meetings.
And so, I am here to cooperate, to make it one big body of Jesus Christ. That's all. And after all, the great fundamental part of it is repentance, and baptism, and faith towards God, salvation, Divine healing. And I think all of us can agree upon that (See?), upon those things.

I was a Baptist preacher; Reverend Arnie Clegg from the Maple Street Methodist Church come in, and then in come Father Halpin, the Catholic priest.
Well, can I quote what he said? All right, he said, "We should start a crap game; we're all here." Catholic priest said that.

Je me suis dit que c'était très bien de la part d'un prêtre. Et il a dit: " Restez sur votre ligne." Et c'est juste. Aussi longtemps que vous êtes converti et que vous croyez au Seigneur Jésus-Christ, continuez à avancer de tout votre coeur, et Il vous conduira dans la Lumière. Et je crois cela de tout mon être.
| E-9 And so, then he done something, though, that--that started something rolling in my heart. He said on there... He drawed three lines. He said, "Here's the Pennsylvania going down; Billy," (That was me.) said, "will go down on that line. And here's another one, the Southern," said, "Mr. Clegg here will go down on that line. Here's another one over here," said, "Just stay on your line, just as long as they're pointing towards Heaven."
I thought that was pretty good for a priest. And he said, "Stay on your line." And that's right. As long as you're converted and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, just keep moving on with all your heart, and He will lead you in the Light. I believe that with all that's in me.

E-10 (8) Tout cela a été très bien, les dames à la musique, les chants spéciaux, tout a été très bien. Je pense donc qu'ils ne m'entendent pas, mais la police qui nous aidait là-bas à entrer et à sortir, à parquer les voitures, ils ont assurément fait un travail merveilleux, du bon travail. Tout le monde a été très gentil, et nous apprécions certainement cela. Et notre espoir, notre prière, notre désir, c'est que nous ayons fait quelque chose ou dit quelque chose, ou que vous ayez vu Dieu faire quelque chose par nous, qui fortifiera votre foi, et qui vous fera aimer Jésus davantage, et qui fera que si vous êtes malade, vous soyez guéri. En effet, c'est le véritable et sincère désir de notre - notre coeur, comme c'est le but de notre présence ici. Et si nous avons réalisé cela par notre venue, nous remercions Dieu de tout notre coeur.
| E-10 All that's been so nice, the ladies with the music, the special singing, everything's been so fine. Then I guess they can't hear me, but the police that's been helping us out there, getting in and out, parking the cars, they certainly done a wonderful job, fine job. Everybody has been real fine, and we sure appreciate it. And it's our hopes, and our prayers, and our desires, that we have did something or said something, or you seen God do something by us, that'll strengthen your faith, and will make you love Jesus more, and you're sick, that you'll get healed. 'Cause that's our--our simple heart sincere desire, as that's what we're here for. And if we've achieved that by our coming, we're thanking God with all that's in our hearts.

Et oh! j'ai appris que frère Hickerson a reçu le Saint-Esprit hier soir (Oh! Que Dieu soit loué!) lui et sa femme. Frère Collins, le prédicateur méthodiste, son... Lui et sa femme, ainsi que son frère et - et sa femme, ont tous reçu le Saint-Esprit. Et oh! je vous assure, les choses se passent à merveille.
Et nous vous remercions, vous les bien-aimés qui étiez dans les salles de prière, pour aider ces gens à prier. Cela signifie beaucoup pour mon église d'être fortifiée comme cela. I've never seen them, but waved at them. Brother Welch Evans, his wife and family's here somewhere. I couldn't find them now. Brother Banks Wood, his father, and mother, and brother, and all are converted Jehovah Witnesses. And they're here in the--the meeting. And oh, I hear that Brother Hickerson received the Holy Ghost last night (Oh, praise be to God!) him and his wife. Brother Collins, the Methodist preacher, his... He and his wife, and his brother and--and his wife, all received the Holy Ghost. And oh, I tell you, things are just rolling on wonderfully.
And we thank you dear people who was in the prayer rooms to help pray with these people. It means a lot to my church to be strengthened like that. Somebody told me that Brother Wood and them had received the Holy Ghost also, which was seeking for the baptism. I'm so thankful for that. May the Lord bless those brothers. And I know there'll be a--a new something in their life; it'll be real. Amen.

E-15 Pensez-y tout simplement, Jésus de Nazareth, une femme a touché Son vêtement, Il a dit que cela L'a affaibli; une force était sortie de Lui. Est-ce juste? Et c'était le Fils de Dieu. And we were giving our brethren and our friends thanks for all that they have did for us in this meeting. Now, every one of us together, with our heads and hearts bowed, we are thanking You, our loving Father, for Your goodness. For it was through You that all this has been accomplished; the afflicted has been healed; the sick has been healed; sinners have come to You to be saved. And those who are saved has come and been filled with Your Spirit. Thou has not left one thing undone that we have preached. You have confirmed every word with signs following. | E-17 And we know that it's Your will to heal everybody, and to save everybody, and to fill everyone with the Holy Spirit. Because You are here, and willing, and wanting, and longing to give them the desire of their heart. (23) Ça a dû être une - une matinée très chaude. Ils n'avaient pas dormi toute la nuit, ils s'étaient rassemblés à une petite oasis. Et pendant toute la nuit, le bétail avait braillé, et les - les chevaux avaient henni, les enfants avaient pleuré, le peuple avait murmuré: pas d'eau à boire. Et ils étaient seuls dans le désert. Et ils avaient cherché à toutes les sources dans les parages, et toutes les sources avaient tari, et il n'y avait point d'eau.
Leur péché les avait plongés dans cette situation. Ils avaient oublié tout ce que Dieu avait fait pour eux, ce qu'Il faisait pour eux, et ils s'étaient mis à murmurer contre Dieu et Son prophète. Et cela les avait amenés dans ce désert, à un endroit désert: point d'eau, rien pour leurs enfants, point de nourriture à manger, point d'eau à boire. C'est une chose horrible quand le peuple pèche, c'est un type très frappant du monde d'aujourd'hui.
(24) Nous voyons donc aussi qu'ils avaient facilement oublié que le Dieu qui leur avait promis de les amener dans ce pays, était le Dieu qui signe... avait opéré tous ces signes, prodiges et miracles.
| E-19 May the Lord bless the Words of His Bible. It must have been a--an awful hot morning. They had no sleep through the night; they had gathered at a little oasis. And all night long the cattle bawled, and the--the horses nickered, and the children cried, and the people murmured: no water to drink. And they were out in a desert alone. And they'd searched through all the springs around the place, and all the springs had went dry, and there was no water.
Their sin had brought them into this condition. They had forgotten all that God had did to them, and did for them, and had went off to murmuring against God and His prophet. And it had brought them out into this wilderness, where it was a desert: no water, nothing for their children, no food to eat, no water to drink. It's a horrible thing when people sin, a very striking type of today in the world. Then we find also that they'd easily forgotten that the God that had promised them to take them to the land, had been the God that sign--gave all those signs and wonders and miracles.

E-20 Si nous pouvions nous arrêter (J'aurais voulu que nous le fassions, mais nous ne le pouvons pas), nous arrêter là-dessus pendant quelques minutes. Dieu fait une promesse, ensuite Il confirme qu'Il va accomplir cette promesse en tenant toutes Ses Paroles et en manifestant Sa Présence. Combien c'est merveilleux que Dieu soit en train de faire la même chose juste ici à Chatauqua! Mais vous voyez, notre... Nous sommes en route vers la terre promise. Dieu avait promis de pourvoir à tous leurs besoins depuis l'Egypte jusqu'à la Terre promise. Dieu a promis de pourvoir à tous nos besoins jusqu'à ce que nous rencontrions... atteignions la Terre promise; et qu'il n'y aurait point de maladies parmi nous, si nous gardions les promesses de Dieu. Mais nous avons péché.
(25) Qu'est-ce que le péché? L'incrédulité. L'incrédulité, c'est le seul péché qui soit. Boire, fumer, jouer à l'argent, commettre adultère, ce n'est pas cela le péché; ce sont des attributs de l'incrédulité. Voyez-vous? La justice, c'est l'attribut du salut. Cependant, les gens peuvent cesser de fumer, de boire et tout, et ne toujours pas être sauvés. Voyez-vous? Le péché est donc un signe que l'indiv-... la personne qui le commet n'est pas un croyant. La Bible dit: "Celui qui ne croit pas est déjà condamné." C'est pourquoi, avant que vous... Même si vous n'avez jamais menti, volé, ou fait quoi que ce soit dans votre vie, néanmoins, vous êtes un pécheur dès le départ. Vous êtes... Vous n'avez point de chance en dehors de Christ; Il est le Chemin.
| E-20 If we could stop (Wish we could, but we can't), pause on that for a few minutes. God makes a promise, then He confirms that He's going to fulfill that promise by keeping all of His Words and showing Himself present. How beautiful that God is doing the same thing right here at this Chatauqua. But you see, our... We're on our road to the promised land. God promised to supply all their needs from Egypt to the promised land. God promised to supply all our needs until we meet--reach the promised land. And there would not be any sickness among us, if we'd kept God's promises. But we have sinned.
What is sin? Disbelieved. Unbelief is the only sin there is. Drinking, smoking, gambling, committing adultery, that is not sin; that's the attributes of unbelief. See? Righteousness is the attribute of salvation. But people can quit smoking, drinking, and everything, and still not be saved. See? So sin is a mark that the peo--person that does it is not a believer. The Bible said, "He that believeth not is condemned already." So before you... If you never lied, stoled, or done anything in your life, you're still a sinner to begin with. You're... You don't have a chance outside of Christ; He is the Way.

E-21 (26) Et ces gens s'étaient complètement éloignés de Dieu, et Il avait coupé leur approvisionnement en eau et en nourriture. Et cela ressemble bien à aujourd'hui: Dieu a privé l'église de grandes bénédictions qu'Il lui avait promises, à savoir qu'Il serait avec eux... Ecoutez, qu'Il serait avec nous, même en nous, jusqu'au bout du chemin. "Les oeuvres que Je fais, vous les ferez aussi. Je ne te délaisserai point, ni ne t'abandonnerai. Je serai toujours avec toi, même jusqu'à la fin", toujours.
(27) Eh bien, pourquoi n'est-Il point dans l'église aujourd'hui, ce [Dieu] que les gens ont enseigné? "Où est ce Dieu de l'histoire, ce Dieu qui est ressuscité?" Il attend seulement que Son peuple revienne à Lui et se mette en ordre. Vous verrez alors le Dieu de l'histoire venir, quand le peuple se sera mis en ordre.
| E-21 And these people had got altogether away from God, and He'd cut off their water supply and their food supply. And that's very similar of today: that God has cut off the great blessings from the church that He promised the church, that He would be with them... Listen, "He'd be with us, even in us, to the end of the way. The works that I do shall you do also. I'll never leave thee nor forsake thee. I'll be with thee always, even unto the consummation," all the way.
Now, why isn't He in the church today that people taught, "Where is that God of history, that God that rose up?" He's only waiting for His people to come back to Him and get right. Then you'll see the God of history come in, when the people gets right.

E-22 Combien ils avaient facilement oublié que lorsque les plaies tombaient sur l'Egypte, eux ils étaient protégés, que lorsque tout était couvert de mouches, il n'y avait pas une seule mouche autour d'eux, que lorsque tous les lits étaient infestés de poux, tous les vêtements, et tout, il n'y en avait pas un seul sur eux. Les grenouilles étaient dans les armoires et partout ailleurs, partout chez les incroyants, mais eux avaient été protégés, Dieu manifestait Sa miséricorde.
(29) Remarquez, et quand cette grande dernière nuit était arrivée, Dieu a dit: "C'est Mon coup final que Je donne à l'Egypte. Mais avant de donner ce coup, Je dois mettre Mes enfants à l'abri."
Et un agneau de sacrifice fut immolé, et le sang fut appliqué sur le montant et les linteaux de la porte, et l'assemblée se mit sous le sang. N'oubliez pas, c'était la dernière plaie qui a frappé l'Egypte. Et la dernière plaie qui frappe l'église aujourd'hui est la même qui frappa en ce temps-là: la mort spirituelle. En effet, de même que Dieu les a conduits littéralement, Il nous conduit spirituellement. Et le dernier coup qui est donné à - à l'ennemi, c'est la mort qui frappe. Et tout ce qui n'est pas sous le sang, le Saint-Esprit le retranche de la communion.
| E-22 How easy they had forgotten, that when the plagues was in Egypt, that they were protected. When there was flies all over everything, there wasn't a fly around them. When lice filled all the beds, all the clothing, and everything, there wasn't one bit of it on them. Frogs was in the cupboards and everything else, all over the rest of the unbelievers, but they had been protected, God showing His mercy.
Notice, and when that final and great night came, God said, "This is My final blow at Egypt. But before I can strike this blow, I've got to bring My children to protection."
And there was a sacrificial lamb killed, and the blood was put on the post and the lintels of the door, and the congregation went under the blood. Remember, that was the last plague that struck Egypt. And the last plague that's striking the church today is the same as that was: a spiritual death. Because as God led them literally, He leads us spiritually. And the last blow at the--the enemy is death is striking, and all from under the blood, is disfellowshiped by the Holy Spirit.

E-23 Eh bien, c'est pour cette raison que nous avons une mort spirituelle dans les églises. C'est le dernier signe avant l'heure de la délivrance, c'est la... sp-... une mort spirituelle. Jésus n'a-t-Il pas dit la même chose? "Les gens seront emportés, enflés d'orgueil, aimant le plaisir plus que Dieu, déloyaux, calomniateurs, intempérants, ennemis des gens de bien, ayant l'apparence de la piété, mais reniant ce qui en fait la force. Eloigne-toi de tels hommes." C'est l'heure dans laquelle nous vivons maintenant, où l'église du monde est frappé de plaies et meurt de la mort spirituelle.
(30) Dieu les avait protégés, mais ils avaient oublié cela. Combien vite nos croyants pentecôtistes oublient aussi cela, que vous avez été sauvés par Sa grâce et remplis de Son Esprit. En ce temps si terrible de la mort pour l'église, n'oubliez pas cela, que le Dieu qui vous a donné le Saint-Esprit pour que vous viviez par Celui-ci, et que vous fassiez ce voyage, est avec vous à chaque étape du voyage. Nous oublions si vite cela. C'est dommage.
| E-23 Now, therefore we have a spiritual death in the churches. That's the last sign before the hour of deliverance, is the sp--a spiritual death. Did not Jesus say the same thing? "They'd be heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God, truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent, despisers of those that are good, having a form of godliness, but would deny the power thereof: from such turn away," the hour that we are now living, when the church world has become plagued and dying of spiritual death.
But God protected them, and they had forgotten it. How quickly our Pentecostal believers are forgetting that too, that you were saved by His grace and filled with His Spirit. In this great tremendous dying time to the church, don't forget that, that the God that give you the Holy Spirit to live by and to make this journey, is with you every step of the way. We just so quickly forget it--too bad.

E-24 Eh bien, Dieu les avait fait sortir au cours de cette grande nuit-là, Il était passé par-dessus eux - la grande Pâques - et Il avait accompli ces glorieuses choses pour eux. Maintenant...

Je suis la Vérité et la Vie."
Maintenant, nous voyons que Dieu a frayé une voie alors qu'il n'y en avait point, et les a délivrés. Bien, j'espère que vous vous êtes revêtus de vos vestons spirituels. Ecoutez.
(32) Et les incirconcis (c'est-à-dire ceux qui n'ont pas le Saint-Esprit), les incirconcis... Combien savent que le Saint-Esprit, c'est la circoncision? Si vous avez déjà lu votre Bible, vous le savez. La circonci-...
Etienne a dit, dans mon message de ce matin, il a dit à ces sacrificateurs et aux autres: "Incirconcis de coeur et d'oreilles! Vous vous opposez toujours au Saint-Esprit, comme l'ont fait vos pères." Le Saint-Esprit circoncit le coeur.
| E-24 Now, how that God brought them out, how that in that great night He passed over them--the great passover--and how He had done these great things for them. Now... And then how they had begin to grumble after they'd got out. They'd got out to the--to the Dead Sea. God opened up a way when there was no other way; God became their Way. That's the way I found it in my life; when it'd get to a place where there is no way, then Jesus makes a way where there is no way to be made. "I am the Way. I'll... am the Truth and the Life."
Now, we find that God made a way when there was no way and delivered them. Now, I hope you got on your spiritual jackets. Listen; and the uncircumcised (meaning without the Holy Ghost) the uncircumcised... How many knows that the Holy Spirit is circumcision? If you've ever read your Bible, you'd know it. Circum...
Stephen said, in my message this morning, told them priests and them, "You uncircumcised in the heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Ghost like your fathers did." The Holy Ghost circumcises the heart.

E-25 Et maintenant, Dieu a promis de prendre soin d'eux pendant le voyage, et Il a effectivement pris soin d'eux. Et Il n'a jamais failli. Et ensuite, quand les incroyants ont essayé de les imiter, ils ont été noyés. Et vous l'avez vu vous-mêmes; les gens viennent et essayent d'imiter ou d'agir comme s'ils avaient le Saint-Esprit. Nous avons vu qu'avant longtemps ils se retrouvent dans les dépotoirs. C'est tout à fait vrai. Vous ne pouvez pas imiter cela; cela doit être quelque chose d'authentique que vous possédez vous-même. Vous ne pouvez pas venir et agir comme si vous étiez un chrétien; vous devez en être un. Et le seul moyen pour que vous en soyez un, c'est par une naissance.
Nous avons vu les gens venir et parler en langues. Bien vite, on les retrouve là dans les dépotoirs. Ils n'avaient pas reçu le Saint-Esprit; ils avaient une confusion de langues. Jamais ils... Le Saint-Esprit fait de l'homme ce qu'il est, à partir du coeur de cet homme. Il a l'amour divin.
| E-25 And now, in the journey God promised to take care of them, and He did take care of them. And He never failed. And then, when the unbelievers tried to impersonate them, they was drowned. And you seen yourself: People come in and try to impersonate or act like they got the Holy Ghost. We find out it isn't long till they're on the rubbish heap. Exactly right. You cannot impersonate it; it's got to be a genuine something you've got yourself. You cannot come in and act like you're a Christian; you've got to be one. And the only way you can be one is by birth.
We've heard people come in and speak with tongues. First thing you know, find them out here on the rubbish heap. They didn't get the Holy Ghost; they got a confusion of language. They never... The Holy Spirit makes a man what he is from his heart. He has godly love.

Si ce ne sont pas là les mêmes plaintes que celles de l'église d'aujourd'hui! C'est si facile pour les gens d'oublier la main de Dieu. Ils L'ont si facilement oublié. Ecoutez, qu'est-ce qui est arrivé? Oh! C'est épouvantable. "Il aurait été préférable que nous mourions là-bas."
Ecoutez, ces gens avaient cessé de manger les oignons et l'ail de l'Egypte, et Dieu avait fait pleuvoir du ciel du pain, de la nourriture des anges, et les a nourris avec cela. Mais ils se plaignaient toujours.
(34) Dieu a donné à l'église la nourriture des anges (le Saint-Esprit) et néanmoins ils se plaignent tout le temps de quelque chose ...?...
| E-26 Now, they had forgotten all of this. And this... They left the great murmur with Moses and with God...?... "Why did you bring us out here? Why do we have to stay here? I'd rather be back down in Egypt any time. Why didn't we die down there? Let Pharaoh kill us, be better than being out there."
If that isn't like the complaints of the church today. So easy they forget the hand of God. So easy they forgot it. Listen, what taken place? Oh, it's tremendous. "We'd rather died down there."
Look, those people had left from eating onions and garlics of Egypt, and God had rained bread down out heaven--Angels' food--and fed them with it. And they were still complaining. God has give the church Angels' food--Holy Spirit--and they still complain about something all the time...?...

E-27 Ils ont laissé les oignons et l'ail pour manger la nourriture des anges; les anges la préparaient au ciel et la faisaient pleuvoir, la nourriture qu'eux avaient mangée. Ils se plaignaient toujours. Ils avaient laissé les vieilles rivières boueuses du Nil, ils avaient cessé de boire cette vieille eau boueuse, et ils buvaient l'eau pure du salut à un Rocher spirituel, mais ils s'en plaignaient. Oui, ils se plaignaient toujours parce qu'ils passaient par de petits moments difficiles. Oh! Cela... Dès que vous avez votre première épreuve, quand vous venez à la réunion, vous voyez le Saint-Esprit; à votre retour vous avez un mal de ventre, et vous dites: "Eh bien, peut-être que je n'ai point été guéri." Honte à vous!
(35) Certainement, vous êtes guéri, si vous le croyez. Ce que vous sentez n'a rien à voir avec la chose; c'est à votre foi que nous regardons. C'est ce que Dieu voit, c'est votre foi, pas ce que vous sentez. Jésus n'a jamais dit: "Sentez-vous cela?" Il a dit: "Croyez-vous cela?" C'est ça.
| E-27 Left onions and garlics to eat Angels' food, that Angels prepared in heaven and rained down on, the food that they had eat. And still they were complaining. They had left the old muddy rivers of the Nile, drinking that old muddy water, and was drinking from a spiritual Rock of pure salvation and water, and was complaining about it. Yes, always complain because a little hard times struck them. Oh, that... Just as soon as you have your first trial, come in the meeting, see the Holy Spirit, go back out and have a tummy ache, and say, "Well, maybe I never got healed." Shame on you! Surely, you got healed, if you believe it. Your feelings has nothing to do with it; it's your faith is what we look at. That's what God sees, is your faith, not your feelings.
Jesus never did say, "Did you feel it?" He said, "Did you believe it?" That's the idea.

E-28 (36) Et ils avaient quitté les médecins vantards de l'Egypte, qui disaient là-bas: "Oh! Nous sommes les médecins; les jours des miracles sont passés", pour être avec le Grand Médecin. Et pendant quarante ans de voyage, des milliers et des milliers de petits bébés étaient nés, il y avait toutes sortes de maladies, et des personnes âgées, personne n'était faible parmi eux, avec ce seul Grand Médecin. Alléluia! Et malgré cela, ils se plaignaient. Ils avaient quitté cet endroit là-bas, là où les - où les gens disaient: "Les jours des miracles sont passés."
C'est ce que vous avez quitté. Vous avez quitté ces endroits où on dit: "Les jours des miracles sont passés." Ils ont quitté cela pour être avec les... ici, où les miracles et les prodiges accompagnent les croyants; et malgré cela, ils se plaignaient. N'est-ce pas exactement comme les gens d'aujourd'hui?
| E-28 But they left the boasting physicians of Egypt, down there saying, "Oh, we're the doctors; days of miracles is passed," to be with the Great Physician. And forty years journey, hundreds and thousands of little babies born, all kinds of sickness, and old people, there wasn't a feeble one among them, with that one Great Physician. Hallelujah! And still complaining. They had left the place down there, where the--where they said, "The days of miracles is passed."
That's where you left. You left those places that says, "The days of miracles were passed." They left that to be with the--out here where signs and wonders follows the believer, and still they were complaining. Isn't that just like the people today?

E-29 Au lieu de tout cela, malgré tout cela, quand Dieu a vu la miséricorde pour ces gens... Moïse est tombé sur sa face, ce prophète, et il a dit: "Seigneur Dieu, certainement, ils ont péché. Mais, écoute leur... Accorde-leur une autre chance."

E-30 Maintenant, si ce n'était pas... La pensée charnelle ne prendrait-elle pas cela pour de la folie? Que ferait la pensée charnelle? Eh bien, certainement... Le rocher était l'endroit le plus sec du désert. Eh bien, s'il allait y avoir de l'eau, ce serait à la source... pas là sur ce rocher. Dieu fait parfois des choses qui sont contraires à ce que l'homme pense être normal.
(38) C'est pourquoi l'homme n'a pas le droit de conduire le peuple de Dieu; il faut que ce soit le Saint-Esprit qui le fasse pour une église remplie. Certainement.
| E-30 Now, if that wasn't... Wouldn't a carnal mind pick that up as a foolishness? What would the carnal mind do? Why certainly... The rock was the driest place in the wilderness. Well, if there's going to be any water, it would be in the spring--not up there on that rock. God does things just vice versa sometime from what man thinks is right. That's the reason man hasn't got a right to lead God's people; it takes the Holy Spirit to do it for a filled church. Certainly.

C'est ainsi aujourd'hui, les gens disent: "Eh bien, à quel endroit s'opère cette guérison? Où ces visions se produisent-elles?"

Que fait-il? Il ne fait qu'obéir à la Parole de Dieu. C'est ce qu'avait fait Moïse. Il a obéi à ce que Dieu a dit de faire; il a parlé au rocher. Sans se préoccuper de combien cela semblait insensé, ou de quoi que ce soit d'autre, il a parlé au rocher. Et le rocher devait donner l'eau de la vie pour eux.

See? Well, that's what it is. What happened? Why wasn't there water? Because their man-made springs had dried up. That's what's the matter today with the churches: Our man-made denominations and theology has dried up. But God still has the command to speak to the Rock, and It'll bring forth Its waters. Certainly.
Yes, very foolish to go up there; it looks very foolish. Why would a man leave a great big place to come down and get amongst a bunch of what they call holy-rollers? What's he doing? He's only obeying the Word of God. That's what Moses did. He obeyed what God said do; he spoke to the rock. Regardless of how foolish it sounded, or anything else, he spoke to the rock. And the rock was to bring forth waters of life for them.

Parlez au Rocher, car Il donne toujours Ses eaux du salut et de la guérison divine, exactement comme Dieu l'a promis. La seule chose que vous ayez à faire, si le médecin dit non, c'est de parler au Rocher et Il donnera Ses eaux.

When you have gone as far as you can go, if you searched through every doctor's office there is, and they still say there's nothing can be done for you, then I'll tell you, do like Moses did. Speak to the Rock, for It's still bringing forth Its waters of salvation and Divine healing, just as God promised. Only thing you have to do, if the doctor says no, speak to the Rock and It'll bring forth Its waters.

And there was a spring, Beersheba, which still stands today as an everlasting memorial that He still is God, and you can speak to Him, and He will bring forth whatever you have need of, everything that He promised in the land. Il a demandé: "Es-tu pour nous, ou es-tu pour nos ennemis?"
(44) Il a dit: "Je suis le Chef de l'armée de l'Eternel."
(45) Josué a parlé au Rocher, et les murailles se sont écroulées. Aussi longtemps que nous parlerons au Rocher, une voie sera frayée.

He was walking around one afternoon, trying to figure out a way that he could descend the walls or something. After while, he saw a Man standing there; he pulled his sword and went to meet Him. The Man pulled His sword and come to meet him.
He said, "Are you for us, or are you for our enemies?"
He said, "I am the Captain of the host of the Lord."
Joshua spoke to the Rock, and the walls fell down. As long as we'll speak to the Rock, there'll be a way made.

(50) Marthe, la soeur de Lazare, un jour, quand la maladie est venue dans leur maison, que la mort était venue dans leur maison, son frère était mort, enterré, il puait dans la tombe. And she said, "Lord, give me this water forevermore." She spoke to the Rock, and when she got a drink of that water, she run into the city, saying, "Come, see a Man Who told me the things that I've done. Isn't this the very Messiah?" Sure, she was thirsty, and she spoke to the Rock.
Martha, the sister of Lazarus, one day when sickness had come to their home, death had come to their home. Her brother was dead, buried, stinking out in the grave. But she went down into the city, for she heard something: faith cometh by hearing. And when she got down there, she spoke to the Rock. And the Rock brought forth life again to her dead brother, because she spoke to the Rock, and the Rock gave back the life of the dead boy.

E-39 (51) Une nuit, pendant une tempête deux fois plus terrible que celle-ci, les disciples étaient sur une mer en furie, et tous les espoirs étaient partis. Ils pensaient qu'ils allaient mourir. Si vous avez besoin du Saint-Esprit, parlez au Rocher, et Il donnera Ses eaux, les eaux du salut. Si seulement vous parlez au Rocher; pour tout ce dont vous avez besoin, parlez au Rocher.
(53) Le Rocher est le même aujourd'hui qu'Il l'a toujours été. Il a toujours la Vie Eternelle; Il a toujours la paix éternelle; Il a toujours la joie ineffable et pleine de gloire; Il a toujours la guérison divine. Il est le même hier, aujourd'hui et éternellement. La seule chose qu'il faut que les gens fassent, c'est de parler au Rocher. Amen. Croyez-vous cela? | E-39 The disciples one night in a storm twice as horrible as this, was out on the raging sea, and all hopes was gone. They thought they'd be gone. But they happened to remember; they had the Rock on board. Hallelujah. They spoke to the Rock, and the Rock gave forth Its Eternal Life waters. And He spoke to the winds and the waves, and they obeyed Him. They just had to speak to the Rock.
If you need joy, speak to the Rock; if you need salvation, speak to the Rock; if you need Divine healing, speak to the Rock. If you need the Holy Ghost, speak to the Rock, and He will bring forth His waters--the waters of salvation. If you'll just speak to the Rock; anything you have need of, speak to the Rock. The Rock is just the same today as He ever was. He's still got Eternal Life; He's still got eternal peace; He's still got joy unspeakable and full of glory; He's still got Divine healing. He's the same yesterday, today, and forever. The only thing that people need to do is speak to the Rock. Amen. You believe that? Let's bow our heads then, and speak to the Rock, everybody in prayer.

Moïse était sans espoir, ils étaient dans le désert, là où il n'y avait point d'eau; mais ils ont parlé au Rocher, et le Rocher s'est transformé en puits jaillissant, et ils ont tous bu, et ils ont eu la vie.
(55) Seigneur Dieu, puissions-nous boire aujourd'hui à cette fontaine qui ne tarit jamais. Oh! Dans cette terre épouse de salut, où nous avons été appelés à nous éloigner de l'ail de l'Egypte et des pots puants, pour entrer dans ce très merveilleux endroit qui est une terre épouse, où il y a le Rocher, pour manger la nourriture des Anges et boire à la Fontaine qui ne tarit jamais...
Ô Dieu du ciel, accorde cette bénédiction au peuple. Puissent-ils voir aujourd'hui que le Rocher est encore vivant; que le Rocher est ressuscité des morts, que le Rocher est dans le pays aujourd'hui. Il est un abri pendant la tempête, que le peuple y coure et s'y retrouve en sécurité. Accorde-le, Seigneur. Ecoute la prière de Tes serviteurs pendant que nous prions et que nous T'invoquons. | E-40 Heavenly Father, we come in the Name of the Rock: the Rock in a weary land, the shelter in a time of storm. We pray, O Lord God, that the Rock will overshadow us with His power and mercy, that it--every sick person in here may be healed today. May they speak to the Rock. There are men and women setting here suffering with cancer, some of them blind, some crippled. The doctor says there's no hope for them; then let them speak to the Rock.
Moses without hope, they was in the wilderness where no water was; but they spoke to the rock, and the rock gave forth a gusher, and they all drank, and they lived. Lord God, may we drink from that fountain today that never runs dry. Oh, in this Beulah land of salvation, where we've been called out of Egypt's garlics and stinkpots, into this great wonderful place where it's Beulah land, where the Rock lays, eating Angels' food and drinking from a fountain that never runs dry...
God in heaven, grant this blessing to the people. May they see today, that the Rock still lives; the Rock resurrected from the dead; the Rock is in the land today. He's a shelter in the time of storm, and may the people run into it and are safe. Grant it, Lord. Hear the prayers of Your servants as we pray and call upon you. In the Name of Your Son Jesus Christ. Parlez au Rocher; c'est tout ce que vous avez à faire. Vous n'avez plus à Le frapper; parlez-Lui tout simplement. Invoquez tout simplement Son Nom. "Tout ce que vous demanderez au Père en Mon Nom, Je le ferai." Amen! Parlez au Rocher, et Il donnera Ses eaux. Parlez-Lui; regardez les autres Lui parler. Speak to the Rock; that's all you have to do. Don't have to smite It no more; just speak to It. Just call on His Name. "Whatever you ask the Father in My Name, that I'll do." Amen! Speak to the Rock, and It'll bring forth Its waters. Speak to It; look at other's speaking to It. You without the Holy Ghost, look at them that's spoke to It: Methodist, Jehovah Witness, Baptists, all such. Speak to the Rock; the Rock's no respecter of person, no respect of time. He's the same yesterday, today, and forever, and will ever more be the same Rock that's promised to supply all we have need of, from here to the promised land. Amen. You believe that?

Moïse a frappé ce rocher avec la verge du jugement de Dieu, et les jugements de Dieu ont frappé le Rocher, Jésus-Christ. Et quand Moïse a frappé le rocher, une fente se fit dans le rocher... il y a toujours eu une fente dans ce rocher depuis ce temps-là. Et quand Christ a été frappé, il s'est fait une fente dans le Rocher. Dans ce rocher, ils ont trouvé du miel quand ils avaient faim; ils ont trouvé de l'eau quand ils avaient soif, car c'était un rocher frappé. Ce même Rocher a de l'eau et du miel aujourd'hui, la vie en abondance, une joie ineffable, pleine de gloire, la guérison divine, la puissance de Dieu pour libérer l'homme du péché. "Parle à ce Rocher, et 'Il' donnera 'Ses' eaux." Amen.

Moses smote that rock with the judgment rod of God, and the judgments of God smote the Rock, Christ Jesus. And when Moses smote the rock, there was a cleft in the rock--always there was a cleft in that rock from that time forward. And when Christ was smitten, there was a cleft in the Rock. Out of that rock, they found honey when they were hungry; they found water when they were thirsty, for it was a smitten rock. That same Rock today has water and honey, and abundance of life, joy unspeakable full of glory, Divine healing, powers of God to set a man free from sin. "Speak to the Rock, and "it" will bring forth "His" waters." Amen.

O God, our heavenly Father, when the anointing of Thy Holy Spirit gets upon us, then we seem to forget that we're still earthly. There seems to be a deeper sense of--of something more real; it makes us cry and shout and great, strange things that we do that's hard to understand by the carnal mind, but we have spoke to the Rock. It's very strange to think that--that the Rock would bring forth water, but there was waters there somewhere; to follow the commandments of God always brings forth the results. And we thank Thee for this, our Father.
And we pray now; that as we closing out this revival and service, that there will not be one person here, but what will receive all that they have come for. If it's for salvation, may they accept You as their personal Saviour. If they have not yet been borned again, filled with the Spirit, we pray that they will be filled with Thy Spirit. If it's healing, may there not be a feeble person in our midst at the close of this service. Bless them, Lord, they've come; they've set around; they've waited. And Lord, I don't know what more we could do: preaching, telling them the Truth, reading it from the Scriptures, giving them parables. Then above all that, You come right down in our midst and prove that You're here. May they have faith to speak to You this afternoon, and say, "Lord, heal me; save me; fill me with Thy Spirit." He said, "Our fathers eat in the wilderness bread," He said, "but I'm the Bread of Life that come from God out of heaven; man eats this and never dies." Here He said, why... about Moses and--and they told them... He told them, "Before Moses was He was."

E-47 Et Il est le même Puissant Rocher.
(75) Quand Il était ici dans le monde dans un corps de chair... demeurait dans un seul Homme, Son Fils Christ... nous voyons ce qu'Il a fait en ces jours-là. Il ne faisait rien avant qu'Il n'ait eu une vision montrant ce qu'il fallait faire. Personne... Il a dit Lui-même... Combien savent que Jésus a dit qu'Il ne faisait rien sans qu'Il ne l'ait vu être fait au préalable. Si vous voulez le lire, saint Jean 5.24, ou plutôt 5.19, excusez-moi. Eh bien, soit c'est vrai soit c'est faux. Si c'est vrai, Il n'a jamais accompli un seul miracle ni fait une seule chose, avant que Dieu ne Lui ait montré d'abord dans une vision ce qu'Il devait faire. C'est ce qu'Il a dit, sinon Il a dit quelque chose de faux; Il ne pouvait pas faire cela et demeurer le Fils de Dieu.
| E-47 And He's the same great Rock. When He was here in the world in a body of flesh--dwelt in one Man, His Son Christ--we see what He did in them days. He never done nothing till He saw a vision on what to do. No one... He said Himself... How many of the people are aware that Jesus said, "He did nothing till He saw it first being done." If you want to read it, Saint John 5:24--or 5:19, beg your pardon. "Verily, verily I say unto you, The Son can do nothing in himself, but what he sees the Father doing, that doeth the Son likewise."
Now, that's either right or wrong. If it's right, He never performed one miracle or done one thing, until God showed Him by a vision first what to do. That's what He said, or He told something wrong; He couldn't do that and remain the Son of God.

She said, "I have none."
Said, "You said right, because you've got five. And the one you're living with is not your husband."

(82) Tout le monde sait que dire la bonne aventure est du diable. Certainement. Tous ces sorciers, ces diseurs de bonne aventure, la télépathie mentale et tous ces genres d'histoires viennent du diable.
| E-49 Now, the Pharisees heard Him do that, and seen Him do it--that same Rock--and they said, "This man is Beelzebub, a devil. (Is that right?) Some kind of a mystic fortune-teller or something."
Jesus said, "I'll forgive you for that. But someday (Words like this) when the Holy Ghost comes to do the same thing, you speak one word against It, it'll never be forgiven."
How many knows that's true? This world, nor in the world to come... Because they called the Spirit of God an unclean Spirit, like a devil spirit, fortune-teller. Anybody knows that fortune-telling's of the devil. Certainly. All them witchcraft, and fortune-tellers, and mental telepathy, and all that kind of stuff like that, comes from the devil.

E-50 Mais souvenez-vous, Jésus a dit que dans les derniers jours, quand nous aurons toutes ces pensées positives par différentes personnes, la télépathie mentale, et - et cette autre histoire que les gens ont essayé d'incriminer... Superstition perception and all of that--that's of the devil. And the Bible said it would be here: "As Jambres and Jannes withstood Moses, so will these resist the truth." The truth is the baptism of the Holy Ghost and the power of God.
Jesus said, "They'd be so close together, it would deceive the very elected if it was possible." But they... It's not possible to deceive the elected, 'cause they were elected before the foundation of the world. Their names are put on the Lamb's Book of Life. "Those who He foreknew, He's called. Those who He called, He justified. Those who He justified, He has already glorified." That's right.

He promised that He would show the Gentiles, just like He did the Jews and Samaritans, at the end of the Gentile age, He would show the Gentiles (How many knows that?) the same sign, that He was a resurrected Messiah.

Now, Jesus said that same thing'll take place just before He comes. We're at the end of the road. Now, if He's still the same Messiah, He will do the same Messiahic signs to prove Hisself. I'm not Him; I'm just your brother. I'm just like you, one that's received His Spirit. Now, if the woman didn't believe, no matter what was said, it'd never help her anyhow. And she's got to believe before anything will take place.
Now, you out there in the audience, you just believe the same way for yourself or for somebody else. No matter what it is, you just believe for them, and find out if it doesn't take place just exactly the same.

You may be for somebody else; you may be for finances; you may be for domestic trouble; you may be sick; you--you may have some heartache or something, I don't know. But you have come to me as God's servant, to try to speak through, like they did in the Old Testament through the prophets, to find out what was what, and so forth (Is that right?) and what was going to happen. Well then, if He still remains the same as He was, then His Spirit is in us, and we'll do just like He--He did then, is that right? How many in the audience will believe it now, with all your heart?
All right, the only thing I ask, just look this a way; don't doubt. You believe me to be His servant? That's good. And if we've never met, and there's something wrong with you, God has to tell me, or has to have some kind of a power that would tell me, because there's no way for me to know. And then through that, if it would tell you, it would help you, would it? It would help you.
Well, you are here for healing, and that's in your stomach. You got a stomach trouble, complications, and a lot of things wrong with you. That's exactly right. Now, if that's true, raise up your hand. Now, do you believe? See? See how exact the Holy Spirit is? Now, that's true. Now, if you'll... Wait, there's something else. She's got something else on her mind; she's thinking of something.

Stand on your feet--I don't care what it is--that's got any kind of sickness. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. Are you ready to speak to the Rock? Now, you go and believe, and you go and believe. Stand right here just a minute now, raise your hands up to God, all of us.
I command the devil in the Name of Jesus Christ, our Rock of salvation, to depart from every sick and afflicted person in here. I do this by the Blood of Jesus Christ, under the atonement by the ministry of an Angel that sent me to do these signs and wonders before you, to speak of the coming of Jesus Christ.

May they speak to the Rock right now about their case, and may the Rock pour forth Its healing powers and glory into their bodies and souls, and heal them.
