Et c’est vraiment dommage que nous n’ayons pas eu toute la ville ici pour qu’elle voie ce que le Seigneur a fait. Mais jamais Il ne... je... Le Saint-Esprit donnait si rapidement des visions partout dans la salle au point que, en toute honnêteté, je devais des fois tourner la tête jusqu’à ce que j’aie assez de force pour continuer encore un peu. Votre–votre foi pour croire, eh bien, ne la laissez jamais mourir.

And I have, in behalf of Brother Borders, and Brother Mercier, Brother Goad, Billy Paul, myself, we want to say that this has been a great meeting for us. I have not had a meeting, in I don't know when, that the Holy Spirit seemed to just give liberty to anything almost, and great liberty to speak. And ministers know what that means. Such a cooperation behind you, in front of you...
And it's just too bad that we didn't have the whole city around to see what the Lord did. But He never... I... The Holy Spirit giving visions around over the building so swiftly, till honestly, I'd have to turn my head sometimes, till I'd just get strength enough to go on a little farther. Your--your faith to believe, now, never let it die.

E-2 Bon, nous voulons remercier l’école de nous avoir accordé cette salle. Nous voulons remercier le gardien d’ici, le concierge ainsi que tout le comité de gestion de l’école. Et nous prions certainement que Dieu fasse sortir de cette école beaucoup d’étudiants célèbres. Et tous ceux qui ont coopéré, ceux qui nous parrainent, et ceux qui ont coopéré, jusqu’aux laïques dans l’ensemble, pour nous avoir aidés à faire face à nos charges... Je pense que tout a été honoré. Et c’est tout ce qui est exigé, juste que les charges soient couvertes. C’est tout ce dont nous avons besoin. Et moi-même, je reçois un–un salaire.
Je voudrais vous remercier pour les offrandes d’amour et l’offrande missionnaire que vous avez prélevées. Cela va tout droit à ces fonds. Je ne sais même pas, je ne m’occupe pas du tout de l’argent lors des réunions. C’est mon secrétaire qui s’en occupe. Tout est mis en banque et mis de côté, pour économiser jusqu’à ce que j’aie assez pour aller outre-mer.
Et puis, quand je vais outre-mer, pour me rassurer que l’argent est bien utilisé, je prends cela moi-même. Et je sers avec le ministère qui a opéré juste ici parmi vous tous et partout dans le monde. Et un de ces jours, eh bien, ils seront des millions à s’assembler là-bas dans l’autre pays, à cause de votre coopération en m’aidant à aller dans d’autres pays... Je crois qu’il y aura des dizaines de milliers de païens qui n’auraient jamais connu Jésus-Christ si vous ne m’aviez pas aidé à y aller.
| E-2 Now, we want to thank the school for letting us have this auditorium. We want to thank the custodian here, the caretaker, and all the school board. And we certainly pray that God will turn out many famous students from this school here. And all the people that cooperated, to our sponsors, and the ones who cooperated, to all the laity for helping us meet our expenses... I think everything was met. And that's all that's required, just the expenses being met. That's all we need. And myself, I get a--a salary.
I want to thank you for the love offerings and the missionary offering that you taken. That goes straight to that fund. I don't even know, never look at any money at all in the meetings. My secretary takes care of that. It's all banked and put away, building up till I get enough to go overseas.
Then when I go overseas, to be sure that the money goes right, I take it myself. And I minister with the ministry that's been right in here to you all, all around the world. And someday, over there in the other land, where they will be, well, millions will be gathering, because of your cooperation to help send me other places... I trust that there'll be tens of thousands of heathens that would've never knowed Jesus Christ except you would've helped me go.

E-3 Eh bien, peut-être que vous, Dieu ne vous a jamais appelés à y aller. Mais vous avez sacrifié une partie de votre subsistance pour que je puisse y aller. Et je vais faire tout mon possible, et je vous le promets, par la grâce de Dieu, que chaque sou sera dépensé avec autant de crainte que possible. Même depuis les treize petits cents que nous a offerts ma petite chérie hier soir jusqu’à la plus grande somme d’argent, nous en prendrons soin et nous le dépenserons au mieux de notre connaissance.
Maintenant, les administrateurs de notre église, l’un d’eux est ici présent maintenant même, M. Sothmann, là au fond. Et les autres sont de braves chrétiens, comme lui. Et ils veillent à ce que cet argent soit affecté exactement à ce pour quoi il a été envoyé. Il va dans les champs missionnaires à l’étranger pour contribuer à l’édification du Royaume de Dieu. Là-bas, quand je vais... Vous dites: «Eh bien, je suis membre des Assemblées.»
L’autre dit: «Eh bien, je suis membre des Foursquare.»
| E-3 Now, maybe you, God never called you to go. But you sacrificed some of your living so I could go. And I go do everything I can, and promise you, by the grace of God, every penny of it will be spent just as reverently as it could be. Even from the little thirteen cents from my little sweetheart last night that gave us into the largest sum of money will be well taken care of and spent to the best of our knowledge.
Now, our trustees at the church, one of them is setting present right now, Mr. Sothmann back there. And the others are fine, Christian men, like he. And they see to that that this finances goes exactly to what it's sent for. It goes to the foreign missions to help build the Kingdom of God. In there, when I go in... You say, "Well, I belong to the Assemblies."
The next say, "Well, I belong to the Foursquare."

E-4 Rappelez-vous, mon frère, ma soeur, que cet argent va tout droit dans votre église là-bas aussi, parce que je ne représente pas une quelconque dénomination. Les gens se réunissent tous comme ici. Vous voyez? Et–et quand les convertis viennent, eh bien, quelles que soient les églises qu’ils désirent fréquenter, cela nous importe peu. Ce qui importe donc c’est qu’ils soient des chrétiens du Plein Evangile nés de nouveau. Et c’est donc ainsi que nous–nous faisons tout ce que nous pouvons avec révérence, sachant que nous devrons répondre du plus petit don au plus grand, au jour du Jugement. Et je veux qu’on trouve ce jour-là que j’avais été un bon économe des affaires du Seigneur.
Et nous remercions certainement chacun de vous sans exception pour tout ce que vous avez fait, pour votre foi... J’ai remarqué que la nuit... je commence à remarquer qu’en Amérique, et comme à beaucoup d’autres endroits, les gens se lèvent des fois... Vous allez à une réunion, et lorsqu’ils ne sont pas d’accord avec ce que vous dites, ils se lèvent et s’en vont, ils s’en vont délibérément. Je n’ai pas vu cela au cours de cette série de réunions. Et j’ai éprouvé votre patience en continuant jusqu’à vingt-deux heures, et les gens sont restés assis juste dans l’église, avec la chaleur, s’éventant; ils sont restés assis là même jusqu’à la dernière prière, jusqu’à ce que la dernière chose soit faite à la chaire. C’est loyal. Que Dieu vous bénisse.
| E-4 Remember, my brother, sister, that money goes right into your church over there too, because I don't represent any certain denominations. They all gather like they do here. See? And--and when the converts come, why every church they want to go to, it doesn't matter to us. Just so they're full Gospel born again Christians. And so, that way we--we do everything we can reverently, knowing that we'll have to answer from the least little gift until the highest at the day of the judgment. And I want to be found a good steward of the Lord's business at that day.
And we certainly thank each and every one of you for all you've done, for your faith... I noticed on the night... I begin to notice in America, and like many other places, the people get up sometimes... You go into a meeting, and they don't agree with what you're saying; they'll get up and walk out, just walk out deliberately. I've not noticed that in this meeting. And I've tried your patience going on up to ten o'clock, and people have set right in the church, hot, fanning, set right there till the last prayer--last thing's finished at the pulpit. That's loyalty. God bless you people.

E-5 Je ne sais pas. J’espère pouvoir vous revoir. Si ce n’est pas le cas, ce que je vous ai dit hier soir au sujet de cet endroit, que Dieu exauce ma prière et que nous puissions tous nous rencontrer là-bas. Je vous aime donc et vous m’aimez, mais nous ne savons pas ce que c’est jusqu’à ce que nous arrivions là. Et c’est juste.
Je crois que s’il m’arrive de revenir, le nouveau ministère que j’essaie maintenant de mettre en oeuvre opérera parfaitement comme les autres à ce moment-là.
Quelques-uns m’ont dit là dehors, cela fait quelques minutes, que le petit bébé pour lequel nous avons prié sur l’estrade dimanche après-midi dernier était ici. Si je ne me trompe pas, cette jeune mère blonde qui est ici... Est-ce que le bébé va mieux? J’en suis si heureux. C’est bien. On a dit qu’il allait bien maintenant, que ça se dessèche, qu’il se forme des croûtes. Eh bien, n’en sommes-nous pas reconnaissants? Les médecins ne pouvaient rien faire pour lui. Si seulement vous saviez que cette maladie se répand sur tout le visage et le ronge. Vous voyez? Mais maintenant, cela est en train de guérir et des croûtes se forment à cet endroit. Et cela guérit. Nous sommes reconnaissants.
| E-5 I don't know. Hope I get to see you again. If I don't, what I told you last night about that place, may God answer my prayer and every one of us meet there. I love you now and you love me, but we don't know what it is till we get there. And that's true.
I trust that if I get to come again that the new ministry that I'm trying to get into session now, will be working perfectly like the others at that time.
Some of them told me out there, a few minutes ago, that the little baby we prayed for on the platform last Sunday afternoon was here. If I'm not mistaken, this little blond-headed mother here... Is the baby better? I'm so glad of that. That's good. Said it was getting well now, drying up, coming to scab. Now, aren't we thankful for that? The doctors could do nothing for it. If you only knew that disease spreads all over the face and it eats it up. See? But now it's healing and scabs come over the place. And it's healing up. We are grateful.

E-6 Cela ne vous embarrassera pas. Il y avait... La petite dame s’est demandé pourquoi une chose a été dite sur l’estrade au sujet d’une ville d’où elle venait. Voyez-vous, le Saint-Esprit... Immédiatement après la réunion, je descendais la rue, et je–je les ai rencontrés; et on m’a posé la question.
Eh bien, j’ai dit: «Certainement, c’est juste. Vous êtes de là, vous-même. Mais quand vous vous êtes mariée, vous avez emménagé ailleurs ou quoi que ce fût là».
Alors elle a compris. Voyez-vous ce que le diable essaie de vous amener à faire? Voyez-vous? Ce bébé ne se serait pas rétabli si vous aviez continué à penser cela. Voyez-vous? Mais si vous croyez, si c’est suffisamment parfait pour dire des choses parfaitement, c’est–ce sera parfait aussi pour ce qui est de la guérison.
Croyez simplement toutes choses, tout ce que Dieu a dit, croyez-le tout simplement, parce que ce n’est pas moi, mon ami. Souvenez-vous. Si je ne vous revois plus jamais, vous tous, la plupart d’entre vous, jusqu’au Jugement, ces visions, cette Colonne de Feu et la Lumière, c’est la vérité. C’est la vérité.
| E-6 This won't embarrass you. There was... The little lady wondered why one thing was said on the platform about a place that she was from. See, the Holy Spirit... Immediately after the meeting, I was walking down the street and I--I met them; and questioned.
Why I said, "Certainly, that's right. That's where you are from, yourself. But when you married, you moved somewhere else or whatever it was there."
Then she seen it. See what the devil trying to get you to do. See? That baby wouldn't be getting well if you'd have kept on thinking that. See? But if you believe, just if it's perfect enough to tell things perfect, it's--it'll be perfect in the healing, too.
Just believe all things, whatever God has said, you just believe it because it isn't me, friend. Remember. If I never see any you all again, many of you, till I see you at the judgment, those visions, that Pillar of Fire and Light is the truth. It's the truth.

E-7 Eh bien, je suis un piètre serviteur du Seigneur. Je commets tellement d’erreurs que j’ai honte de moi. Je ne le fais pas délibérément. Mais je–je fais des choses que je ne devrais pas faire, par exemple, on peut me dire: «Venez, priez pour tel.» «D’accord, je serai bien là et je prierai pour ça.» Un autre arrive, puis un autre, puis un autre. J’oublie la chose. Je ne le fais pas intentionnellement. Ce n’est pas mon intention d’être comme cela.
Et puis, bien des fois, j’aurais souhaité pouvoir rester un peu plus longtemps dans la ligne quand le discernement s’exerce. Mais cela me tue tout simplement; je ne peux simplement pas le faire.
Et l’autre matin, quand j’ai vu cette vision, j’ai regardé et j’ai pensé: «O Dieu, permets que quelqu’un me soutienne.» Puis je me suis mis à penser: «Oui, ils ont fait ça une fois, et pendant huit mois j’étais hors du champ missionnaire.» Voyez-vous, je ne pouvais pas savoir lorsque quelqu’un venait auprès de moi si c’était une vision ou pas. Donc vous–vous ne pouvez pas–vous–vous n’arriverez jamais à vous occuper de tout le monde. Nous le savons. Mais nous pouvons faire tout notre possible pour aider.
| E-7 Now, I'm a poor servant of the Lord. I make so many mistakes, till I'm ashamed of myself. I don't willfully make them. But I--I do things that I shouldn't do, such as, might say, "Come, pray for this one."
"All right, I'll be right over there and pray for that." Here's another; here's a down here, down here. I forget about it. I don't mean to do that. I don't mean to be that way.
And then there's many times I wished I could stand a little longer in line when that's discernment's going on. But it just simply kills me; I just can't do it.
And when I seen that vision the other morning, I looked and I thought, "God, let somebody hold me up." Then I got to thinking, "Yeah they did that one time, and I was off the field for eight months." See, I couldn't tell when anyone come to me whether it was vision or not. So you--you can't--you just--you'll never be able to reach all. We know that. But we can do everything that we can do to help.

E-8 Donc, d’ici nous allons en Californie, à Lakespring... Lakeport, Lakeport, en Californie, pour la semaine prochaine. Et je m’en souviendrai lors de grands défis devant les religieux de l’Inde, devant les sorciers d’Afrique, dans l’arrière-pays de l’Australie et dans les environs où ces païens et ces idolâtres sauvages viennent carrément pour vous défier. Et quand ils lanceront leur défi, je me souviendrai que là dans la vallée de Klamath Falls, il y a un groupe de gens qui prient pour moi. Et je–je saurai que Dieu écoute votre prière. J’ai besoin de vos prières. Les gens qui prient pour moi, voilà la chose qui me soutient.
| E-8 So from here we go over to California to Lakespring--Lakeport, Lakeport, California, for next week. And as soon as I can, I'll be going into Germany, and Switzerland, Africa, India, and down into Australia, and Melbourne, and Sydney, and New--and New Zealand, around over the world.
Be praying for me. I ask you one more favor. Will you pray for me while I'm gone (See?), till we meet. Will you pray for me? And I'll remember when the great challenges before the holy men in India, the witch doctors in Africa, in the great interior where Australia and around where those pagan heathens, they'll come right up and challenge you. And when they make their challenge, I'll be remembering that over in the Klamath Falls valley there's a group of people praying for me. And I--I'll know that God will hear your prayer. And I need your prayer. It's praying people that hold me up.

Même si ça ne m’honore pas, je vais le dire de toute façon, parce que c’est la vérité. Voyez-vous? Juste...
| E-9 When I was a little boy, I had no home, as hardly you know. I don't mean that any disgrace to my father and mother, but you've read my life story. No one... I always loved people; I wanted people to love me. And no one would talk to me. I'd be standing on the street as a young man; someone come along, and I'd be talking to someone. If there was anyone else they could talk to, they'd get away, because of the background, my father drinking and moonshining, and so forth.
So I--I hate to say that, but it's--it's no... I'll trust... My daddy died in my arms giving God praise. So I--I--I trust that it doesn't reflect anything. But see, the truth... If it's bad about me, let me say it anyhow, because it's the truth. See? Just...

E-10 C’est–c’est la raison pour laquelle je crois la Bible. En fait, même si je n’ai lu cela qu’une fois, ou considéré cela qu’une fois, quand Elle a parlé de Lot qui avait vécu avec ses filles et ainsi de suite comme cela, Elle n’épargne personne, Elle dit la vérité. Voyez-vous? Eh bien, quand on dit que George Washington n’a jamais dit de mensonge, ça c’est de l’histoire. Je n’en sais rien. Mais quand on en arrive à Ceci, Elle dit la vérité. Que la chose soit bonne ou mauvaise, Elle dit quand même cela.
C’est comme ça que nous devrions être. Si c’est mal, cela sera [déclaré] de toute façon d’un bout à l’autre du Ciel un jour. Donc nous pouvons tout autant confesser cela maintenant et dire que c’est–que c’était ainsi. Voyez-vous? Et puis, soyez honnêtes. Vous n’avez jamais... Vous ne pourrez jamais servir correctement Dieu à moins que vous n’ôtiez chaque petite chose du chemin au point où vous pourrez rester libres.

Being if I never read it but one time, or looked in It, when It talked about Lot living with his daughters and so forth like that, it don't pull no strings. It tells the truth. See? Now, when they say George Washington never told a lie, that's history. I don't know about that. But when it comes to This, It tells the truth. Whether it's good or bad, It tells it just the same.
That's the way we ought to be. It it's bad, it's going to be across the canopies of the sky someday, anyhow. So we might as well confess it now and say it's--that's the way it was. See? And then be honest. You never have... You can never serve God correctly till you get every little thing out of the way where you can stand free.

E-11 Comment pourrai-je sortir par cette porte si je ne comprends pas et que je ne sais pas exactement que je peux sortir par cette porte? C’est donc par la foi que je sors par la porte. Voyez-vous? C’est le seul moyen par lequel vous puissiez le faire. Si quelque chose constitue une entrave sur votre route, vous ne pourrez pas y arriver, parce que cette chose se dressera juste devant vous chaque fois. Voyez-vous?
Et soyez donc honnête, sincère; servez Dieu de tout votre coeur, en mettant de côté tout péché qui vous enveloppe facilement, afin que vous puissiez courir avec persévérance dans la carrière qui vous est ouverte, ayant le regard sur le Chef et le Consommateur de notre foi, le Seigneur Jésus-Christ. C’est... Suivez: Il est notre Modèle.
| E-11 How can I walk out that door unless I understand and have a good knowledge that I can walk out that door? Then by faith, I walk out the door. See? That's the only way you can. If there's anything in your way hindering you, you just can't do it, because that thing raises right up in front of you all the time. See?
And so be honest, truthful; serve God with all your heart, laying aside every sin that easily besets you, that you might run with patience the race that's set before you, looking to the Author and Finisher of our faith, the Lord Jesus Christ. That's... Watch; He is our Example.

E-12 Maintenant, si je place une pierre d’achoppement sur votre chemin, ne laissez pas cela être une entrave à votre salut par Christ. La chose que vous devez faire, c’est de garder votre foi en Dieu et de regarder à Jésus-Christ comme votre Modèle. Il est votre Modèle, et le parfait Modèle.
Maintenant, je... à vous tous, merci encore. Et maintenant, nous–nous choisissons cette heure cet après-midi. Principalement, nous avons eu un appel à l’autel hier soir. Et je crois que chaque âme précieuse qui a trouvé le Seigneur Jésus au cours de ces réunions, deviendra membre de l’une de ces églises, parce qu’elles–elles croient à ceci. Elles ne me recevraient pas ici si elles ne croyaient pas à ce ministère.
| E-12 Now, if I put a stumbling block in your way, don't let that hinder your salvation with Christ. If your pastor, he's a man, if he puts a stumbling block, don't let that hinder at all. The thing you want to do is keep your faith on God and look to Jesus Christ as your Example. He is your Example, the perfect One.
Now, I... Each and every one of you, thanks again. And now, we're--we're designating this time this afternoon. Mostly, we had a altar call last night. And I trust that every precious soul that found the Lord Jesus in these meetings will take your membership with some of these churches, because they--they believe in this. They wouldn't be having me up here if they didn't believe in this ministry.

E-13 Eh bien, mon ministère connaît maintenant une petite baisse, parce qu’en Amérique ça change d’un ministère à un autre. Et si vous l’avez bien observé, le premier c’était un signe que les gens regardaient. Le second c’était un signe que seul Dieu Lui-même pouvait accomplir. Maintenant, pour ce qui est de ce troisième ministère, cela est ramené encore droit entre les mains des gens. Voyez-vous? S’ils viennent avec sincérité, sans douter du tout. Regardez le Saint-Esprit opérer Lui-même... Il vient sur moi et leur dit exactement des choses. Il guérit là même. Voyez-vous? Mais les gens doivent venir, non pas avec une foi émotive, mais avec une foi solide pour croire que c’est la vérité (Voyez-vous?), car Dieu remet la chose immédiatement entre les mains des individus. En effet, il faut qu’il en soit ainsi, parce qu’il n’y a pas de puissance de guérison dans l’homme.
Et ces choses dont je vous ai parlé concernant les écureuils, concernant la–la guérison de ces gens et ces choses, Dieu au Ciel sait que chaque parole de cela est vraie, autant que je sais l’exprimer. C’est juste. Et je sais donc que juste devant moi m’attend maintenant un ministère plus glorieux que celui que j’ai. Mais cela ne prendra qu’un peu de temps aux gens. Quand ils vont se mettre à placer leur foi là-dedans, c’est alors que cela entrera en action. Comment se fait-il que je voie des visions là au-dessus de l’auditoire? Comment? C’est vous qui provoquez cela. Ce n’est pas moi qui le fais. C’est vous.
| E-13 Now, my ministry is in a little slump now, because it's changing in America from one to another. And if you've noticed it, the first was a sign that the people looked at. The second was a sign that only God, Himself, could do. Now, on this third ministry, it lays it right straight back in the lap of the people again. See? If they'll come with that sincerity, no doubt at all. Watch the Holy Spirit, they operate itself... It comes up on me and tells them just exactly. It heals right there. See? But they have got to come, not with an emotional faith, but with a solid faith to believe that it's the truth (See?), as God puts it right back in the individual's lap again. Because it has to be that way, 'cause there's no power in man to heal.
And these things that I've told you about the squirrels, about the--the healings of those people and those things, God in heaven knows that every word of that is as true as I know how to say it. That's right. And so I know that just ahead of me now, lays a greater ministry than what I have. But it'll take the people just a little bit. When they go to getting faith in it, it'll start its working. How do I see visions out over the audience there? How is it? It's because you yourself are doing it. I don't do that. You do it.

Mais ça c’est dans le cas d’une vraie vision. Ceci est une sorte de vision, mais c’est vous qui la provoquez. Laissez-moi... Je–je préfère ne pas le faire. Nous avons pris trop de temps. J’allais essayer de vous l’expliquer au mieux de ma connaissance. Est-ce en ordre? Voici...
Personne ne peut jamais expliquer cela, parce que c’est inexplicable. Mais voici la chose au mieux de ma connaissance. Je vais prendre mon frère ministre qui est ici sur l’estrade. Très bien. Nous allons tous partir à un grand carnaval, ou plutôt je dirai à un cirque. C’est ainsi que j’avais dû le faire. Un cirque venait en ville, et nous devions jeter un coup d’oeil quelque part à travers un trou pour regarder, parce que nous ne pouvions pas y entrer.

E-15 Eh bien, disons que–que nous sommes tous à ce grand cirque, mais que nous ne pouvons pas entrer. Et il se fait que Dieu m’a fait un homme grand, de haute taille. Et Il a fait d’un autre frère un homme de petite taille, mais robuste. Maintenant, ce que nous sommes, nous n’y pouvons rien.
Jésus a dit: «Qui d’entre vous, par le souci qu’il se donne, peut ajouter une coudée à sa taille?» Vous ne pouvez pas le faire. Dieu vous a fait juste ce que vous êtes. Et c’est là que je suis un peu en désaccord avec nos derniers frères ou plutôt nos frères de la pluie du dernier jour, qui essaient d’imposer les mains aux gens pour faire d’eux des prophètes et autres comme cela. C’est Dieu qui établit dans l’Eglise. Voyez-vous? Si c’est l’homme qui le fait, c’est juste comme élire un évêque ou élire quelqu’un d’autre. Cela marche rarement. Mais quand c’est Dieu qui établit cela, il s’agit–il s’agit de la prescience. Par Sa prescience, Il a vu à l’avance toute chose.

Jesus says, "Who taking thought can add one cubit to his statue?" You can't do it. God makes you just what you are. And that's where I different a little with our latter brethren or latter day rain brethren, of trying to lay hands on people and make them prophets and so forth like that. God sets in the Church. See? If man does it, it's just like electing a bishop or electing something else. It seldom works. But when God sets it, it's--it's foreknowledge. By foreknowledge He foresaw everything.

E-16 Croyez-vous tous que Dieu est infini? Eh bien, s’Il est infini, Il connaissait chaque puce qui serait sur terre, le nombre de fois qu’elle battrait les yeux et la quantité de suif qu’elle produirait. C’était avant que la fondation du monde n’ait eu lieu. Or, cela ne pourrait même pas exprimer à moitié l’infinité–l’infini. Il est si parfait qu’Il savait tout ce qui arriverait. Il connaissait chaque moment, la quantité, quelle serait la longueur de vos ongles, et combien de fois vous battriez les yeux, et combien de fois vous bougeriez le doigt, avant le commencement du monde. Chaque individu... C’est infini. Voyez-vous? Infini, il n’y a simplement aucune... Il n’y a aucune explication à cela. On ne peut donc pas expliquer ce mot.
C’est juste comme sur votre–sur–sur–sur votre appareil photo, ou lorsque vous allez au-delà d’un certain champ, alors ça–ça continue tout simplement; c’est l’éternité. Eh bien, c’est ça Dieu. Il connaissait donc toutes choses.
| E-16 Do you all believe that God is infinite? Well, if He is infinite, He knowed every flea would ever be on earth, how many times it'd ever bat its eyes and how much tallow it would make. That's before the foundation of the world ever started. Now, that wouldn't even half express infincy--infinite. He's so perfect, till He knowed the everything that would ever do. He knowed every time, how many, how long your fingernail would be, and how many times you batted your eye, and how many times you moved your finger before the world ever begin. Every individual... That's infinite. See? Infinite, there's just no... There's no explaining to it. So you can't explain the word.
It's just like on your--on--on your camera, or when you go beyond a certain range, then it's--it's just on; it's eternity. Now, that's God. Then He knowed all things.

E-17 Maintenant, nous allons voir qu’Il a établi certains ministères dans l’Eglise pour certains âges. Croyez cela. Certainement qu’Il l’a fait. Eh bien, nous sommes tous à un carnaval ou plutôt à un cirque. Nous ne pouvons pas entrer. Nous n’avons pas d’argent.
Maintenant, je regarde, disons, frère Borders qui est ici, peut-être qu’il est de petite taille, mais robuste. Il est assez fort, il peut transporter l’eau pour abreuver les éléphants, peut-être y entrer lui-même. Eh bien, moi, je n’arriverais pas à le faire, parce que je suis plutôt un gringalet, mais je suis vraiment de grande taille et mince.
Et nous nous glissons le long d’une grande clôture en bois, et–et nous disons tous deux que nous avons découvert un trou laissé par un noeud, et qu’il se trouve tout en haut à ce niveau. Eh bien, frère Borders ne pourrait jamais atteindre le niveau de ce trou. Mais moi, je le peux en sautant. Très bien, je fais un très grand bond et, de mes doigts, je m’agrippe au rebord de la clôture. Je m’étire, je regarde par le trou. Je redescends. Et on demande: «Qu’as-tu vu?»

Now, I look at, say, Brother Borders here, maybe he's a short, stout man. He's strong enough, he can pack water to the elephants, maybe get hisself in. Well, I couldn't do it, 'cause I'm kind of a weakling, but I'm real tall and thin.
And we're slipping around side of the big board fence, and--and we're both saying we find a knot hole, and it's way up here high. Well, Brother Borders could never get up to that knot hole. But I can if I'll jump. All right, I'll make a great big jump and grab my fingers just around top of the fence. I'll pull up, look through the hole. I come back down. And say, "What did you see?"
"Elephant."
"Oh, you did."
"Uh-huh, yep."
"What else did you see?"

E-18 Eh bien, c’est là la vision que vous voyez ici à l’église. Voyez-vous, je me tiens là. C’est vous-mêmes qui faites opérer cela. C’est vous-mêmes qui provoquez cela. Quand vous êtes là dans l’auditoire et que vous croyez, c’est vous-mêmes qui provoquez cela.
Jésus a dit à la femme: «Ta foi...» Pourquoi n’a-t-Il pas senti le toucher des autres? Ils n’avaient pas cette foi-là, excepté cette unique femme qui L’a touché. Voyez-vous? «Ta foi t’a sauvée.»
Maintenant, premièrement, vous savez que vous... Eh bien, les gens se tiennent sur l’estrade, voici la personne. Je ne l’ai jamais vue de ma vie. Très bien, qu’est-ce que je fais? Je m’abandonne moi-même par un don. Et bien vite, je vois la femme. Elle a le cancer. «Vous souffrez du cancer.» Oh! la la! Quand je tombe d’ici, pour ainsi dire. (Voyez-vous?) Fiou! C’était dur.
«Oui, j’ai le cancer.» Voyez-vous? Cela devrait alarmer tout l’auditoire, mais ce n’est pas le cas. Cela ne l’alarme même pas des fois.
«Il a deviné cela.» Je peux le sentir immédiatement. Voyez-vous?
| E-18 Now, that's the visions that you see here in the church. See, I'm standing there. You, yourself, are operating that. You're doing that yourself. When you're out there in the audience and believing, you're the ones doing that yourself.
Jesus told the woman, "Thy faith..." Why didn't He feel the touch of the rest of them? They didn't have that faith. But that one woman touched Him. See? "Thy faith has saved thee."
Now, the first thing you know you... Now, they're standing on the platform, here's the person. I've never seen them in my life. All right, what do I do? I enter into a relaxation of my own self into a gift. And the first thing you know, I see the woman. She's got cancer. "You have cancer." Oh, my. When I drop like from here. See? Whew. That was hard.
"Yes, I got cancer." See? That ought to alarm the whole audience, but it doesn't. It doesn't even alarm her sometimes.
"He guessed that." I can feel it right then. See?

E-19 «Eh bien, quoi d’autre as-tu vu?» Oh! Nous voilà repartis, et je saute et m’agrippe à l’aide de mes doigts; en effet, je saisis à peine cela et je m’étire fort.
– Quoi d’autre as-tu vu?
– La girafe. (Voyez-vous?)
– Qu’est-ce que j’ai en plus?
– Eh bien, vous avez aussi une toux asthmatique.
– Ouais, c’est juste.
A ce moment-là, je suis presque mort. Voyez-vous? Maintenant, toute l’église se tient ici, chacun cherchant à savoir quelque chose à son sujet. Voyez-vous? Ce sont eux-mêmes qui provoquent cela.
| E-19 "Now, what else did you see?" Oh, here we go again, and jump up, get my fingers a hold, 'cause I just barely reach it and pull hard.
"What else did you see?"
"Giraffe." See?
"What else have I got?"
"Well, you've also got a asthmatic cough."
"Yeah, that's right."
I'm just about gone by that time. See? Now, here stands the whole church wanting to know something about themselves. See? They're doing that themselves.

E-20 Maintenant, voici que le–le–le géant passe, Monsieur Loyal. «Qu’est-ce que tu fais, fiston?
«Je regardais à l’intérieur de la clôture au travers de ce trou de noeud et je rapportais à ces hommes.»
Il a tendu la main et il m’a saisi de ses mains, il m’a soulevé ici. Il dit: «Tu vois ici? Tu vois cette chose-là qui a lieu. Cela vient ici. Les cavaliers de Garland passent par ici, vont là. Cela se passe par ici. Et cette femme saute ici, elle traverse ce cerceau de feu, puis elle sort.»
– Oh! C’est comme ça.
– Ouais.
– Très bien, c’est comme ça, fiston.
Maintenant, là c’est Dieu qui utilise Son don. Ici, c’est vous qui utilisez le don de Dieu. Là dans une vraie vision, c’est Dieu qui utilise Son don. Cela ne me dérange jamais. Cela ne me fait aucun mal du tout; en effet, je suis assis juste dans le creux de Sa main. Il me montre. C’est à ce moment-là que Dieu veut utiliser Son don. Et c’est à ce moment-là que vous utilisez le don de Dieu.
Je ne peux pas l’utiliser. Ce n’est pas pour moi; c’est pour vous. Je ne peux rien voir pour moi-même. Voyez-vous? C’est entièrement pour vous. J’ai des milliers de choses dans mon coeur cet après-midi que j’aurais souhaité qu’Il me montre. Mais Il ne me montre pas ce que je dois faire, ce qui me concerne. C’est pour vous. Je ne suis qu’un agent de Dieu à votre service. Est-ce que vous comprenez maintenant?
| E-20 Now, here comes the--the--the giant by, the ringmaster. "What are you doing, son?"
"I was looking over the fence through that knot hole telling these men."
He reached down and get me in his hand, picks me up here. He says, "You see here? You see that thing there. It takes place. It comes over here. The garland riders come by here, go down here. It happens down here. And this woman jumps off here, goes through those hoop of fire. This goes out."
"Oh, is that the way it is."
"Yeah."
"All right, that's the way it is, son."
Now, that's God using His gift. Here is you using God's gift. There on a real vision is God using His gift. That never bothers me. Don't hurt me a bit, 'cause I'm just setting right in the palm of His hand. He's showing me. That's when God wants to use His gift. And that's when you are using God's gift.
I can't use it. It's not for me; it's for you. I can see nothing for myself. See? It's all for you. I got a thousands of things in my heart this afternoon I wished He'd show me. But He doesn't show me what for me to do, about me. It's for you. I'm just a public servant of God to you. You understand now?

E-21 Eh bien, vous dites: «Ça, ce n’est pas scripturaire, Frère Branham.» Si, si. Un instant, donc.
Jésus vivait avec Marthe, Marie et Lazare. Vous souvenez-vous de cela? Et le Père a dit à Son Fils: «Je voudrais utiliser...» Croyez-vous que Dieu était en Christ? Certainement. Très bien. Le Père veut utiliser Son don sur la terre. Il dit alors à Jésus: «Quitte cette maison, car Lazare va mourir. Retire-toi pendant quatre jours. Après quatre jours, Lazare sera mort. Puis, retourne, rentre et ressuscite-le des morts.» Jamais cela... Il n’a jamais dit qu’une force L’avait quitté.
Il est parti, et quatre jours après on L’a envoyé chercher. «Viens prier pour Lazare. Il est mourant.» Il a simplement continué Son chemin. Un autre messager a été envoyé, disant: «Viens prier pour Lazare, celui que Tu aimes. Il est mourant.» Il a simplement continué Son chemin.
Puis un autre moment après, Il a dit: «Lazare dort.»
«Oh, a-t-Il dit, s’il dort, il va bien.»
Il a dit: «Il est mort. Et, à cause de vous, je me réjouis de ce que je n’étais pas là.» En effet, les gens cherchaient à Lui faire faire quelque chose qui était contraire à la volonté de Dieu.
| E-21 Now, you say, "That's not Scriptural, Brother Branham." Yes, it is. Now, wait a minute.
Jesus was living with Martha, and Mary, and Lazarus. You remember that? And the Father said to His Son, "I want to use..." You believe God was in Christ? Certainly He was.
All right. Father wants to use His gift on earth. So He tells Jesus, "You go away from the home, because Lazarus is going to die. Be gone four days. After four days, Lazarus will be dead. Then You return, and go back, and raise him from the dead." That never... He never said no virtue left that.
Went on over and four days, they sent to Him. "Come, pray for Lazarus. He's dying." He just kept on going. Sent another messenger: "Come pray for Lazarus, the one You love. He's dying." Just kept going on.
Then after another time, he said, "Lazarus sleepeth."
"Oh," He said, "if he sleeps, he does well."
He said, "He's dead. And for Your sake, I'm glad I wasn't there." 'Cause they've been trying Him to get Him to do something was against the will of God.

E-22 Et, frère, soeur, si je ne vous revois plus jamais, sachez que c’est là l’une des plus grandes batailles que je livre. Je regarde juste dans l’auditoire et je vois quelqu’un dont je sais qu’il ne va pas se rétablir. Et alors, quelqu’un cherche à me faire faire quelque chose qui est contraire à la volonté de Dieu. Et je ne peux pas le dire à cette personne, parce que si je le fais, cela la blessera. Et vous y voilà; vous devez simplement retenir cela dans votre coeur et le garder, et continuer à avancer, en priant. Ça–ça vous tue. Et puis, bien vite alors, nous allons...
Lazare... Lorsqu’Il est revenu, Il est allé à la tombe de Lazare... Ecoutez ce qu’Il a dit: «Père, je Te rends grâces de ce que Tu m’as déjà exaucé. (Voyez-vous, voyez-vous? Il le savait déjà.) Mais Je prie à cause de ces gens qui m’entourent.» Puis, Il a appelé Lazare de la tombe.
| E-22 And brother, sister, if I never see you again, that's one of the greatest fights I have. Look right out over the audience and see somebody that I know that isn't going to be well. And then someone try to get me to do something that's against the will of God. And I can't tell that person, because if I do it'll hurt them. And there you are; just have to bottle it up in your soul and keep it, and keep moving on, praying. It's--it's killing. And then, the first thing you know, then we'll...
Lazarus... When He come back, went to the grave of Lazarus... Listen to what He said: "Father, I thank Thee. Thou has already heard Me. (See, see? He knowed it already.) But I pray for these sake that stands around." Then He called Lazarus from the grave.

E-23 Eh bien, Il n’a jamais mentionné quelque chose au sujet de... Il s’agissait pourtant de la résurrection d’un homme qui était mort depuis quatre jours, et dont le corps était rongé par des bestioles. Et cet homme s’est relevé, et il est revenu à la vie, et un jour il est allé à un souper avec Jésus. Est-ce juste?
Eh bien, c’était un miracle plus glorieux. Et quand cette petite femme s’est faufilée et a touché le bord de Son vêtement, Il a dit: «Je me suis affaibli. Une vertu est sortie de Moi.» Est-ce juste? D’un côté, c’était Dieu qui utilisait Son don; de l’autre, c’était cette femme qui utilisait le don de Dieu; en effet, elle s’était dit dans son coeur: «C’est un Saint Homme. Si je puis toucher Son vêtement, je serai guérie.» Vous souvenez-vous de cela?
| E-23 Now, He never said anything about... That was raising a man after he'd been day for four days and bugs was eating up his body. And that man stood up, and lived again, and went to supper one time with Jesus. Is that right?
Now, that was a greater miracle. And that little woman that come through and touched the hem of His garment. He said, "I got weak. Virtue went out of Me." Is that right? One was God using His gift; the other one was that woman using God's gift, 'cause she said in her heart, "He's a holy Man. If I can touch His garment, I'll be made whole." You remember that?

E-24 Ainsi, voilà la vision. Eh bien, on va au-delà de cela maintenant. On en arrive à un point où les gens qui ont vu cela doivent avoir la confiance et la foi, puisqu’ils viendront ici devant moi et je me tiendrai là à leur parler. Et s’ils disent la chose qu’il faut avec le genre de foi qu’il faut, alors cette onction viendra sur moi, et alors, je demanderai que la chose soit faite pour eux juste là. Voyez-vous? Observez tout simplement.
Et cette série de réunions a été glorieuse. Vous ne savez pas les témoignages que j’ai entassés là-bas sur mon pupitre et tout comme cela, ou plutôt sur le... dans mon bureau, venant des gens qui ont répondu et qui ont envoyé des témoignages, disant qu’ils étaient guéris. Des bébés atteints de leucémie et de toutes sortes de maladies et tout...
| E-24 So there is the vision. Now, it's growing beyond that now. It's coming to a place to where the people that had seen it to have confidence and faith, that'll come up here before me, and I'll stand just talking to them. And if they'll just say the right thing with the right type of faith, then that anointing will come on me, and then I'll ask for them to be done right there. See? Just watch.
And this meeting has been great. You just don't know the testimonies I got piled up over there on my desk and things like that, or on the--in my room, of people that's wrote back and sent back testimonies of being healed. With babies with leukemia and all kinds of diseases and things...

E-25 Cependant... Longtemps après mon départ, vous les ministres, en observant vos églises, vous verrez une femme dire: «Cette maladie gynécologique que j’avais ne me dérange plus, pasteur», ou «cette gastrite que j’avais...»
«Les troubles cardiaques que j’avais sont complètement terminés.»
Je ne saurais pas les appeler. Je ne saurais pas les appeler. Ils sont simplement partout dans l’auditoire, partout, juste dans une très grande giclée. On ne pourrait pas les voir tous. On ne pourrait pas leur parler. Mais c’est tout simplement partout. Ils ont obtenu cela.
C’est exactement ce que j’ai dit au sujet de la petite Finlandaise hier soir. Vous... Elle s’en rendra compte peu après. Ainsi, ce–c’est tout. Et ainsi, c’est comme ça que je m’en vais cet après-midi avec l’assurance dans mon coeur que je sais que les choses que nous ignorons maintenant se sont déjà accomplies devant Dieu. Ainsi, de tout mon coeur, je prie que Dieu vous bénisse. Adressons maintenant un mot de prière à Dieu.
| E-25 Yet... And after I'm gone a long time, you ministers watching your churches, you'll see a woman say, "That female trouble I had doesn't bother me anymore, pastor," or "This stomach trouble I had..."
"My heart trouble's all gone."
I couldn't call them. I could not call them. They's just all over the audience, everywhere, just in one great big spray. You couldn't see them all. You couldn't speak to them. But it's just everywhere. They got it.
Just like I said about the little Finnish girl last night. You... She'll find it out after while. So that--that's all. And so that way I go with a confidence in my heart this afternoon to know that things that we know nothing about now is already accomplished in the sight of God. So God bless you with all my heart. Let us pray a prayer now to God.

E-26 Notre Père céleste, après avoir remercié nos frères et soeurs pour toute leur coopération, et beaucoup ont prié et jeûné, et les églises ont soupiré et fait beaucoup d’effort; et les ministres sont passés par de fortes pressions... Mais nous Te remercions, Seigneur, du fait que dans tout cela, de grandes choses se sont accomplies. Comment saurais-je que des prédicateurs ne sortiront pas de cette série de réunions? Comment saurais-je que quelque chose n’est pas arrivé, qui va inspirer des hommes qui sont déjà ordonnés à prêcher? Nous Te remercions pour tout cela.
Beaucoup sont guéris. Tu confirmeras la parole de Ton serviteur, et les frères dans le ministère ainsi que les voisins verront et sauront que mes paroles sont la vérité, qu’elles sont Tes Paroles que j’ai prononcées de Ta part; que beaucoup ici sont guéris et ils ne le savent pas encore.
| E-26 Our heavenly Father, after thanking our brethren and sisters for all their cooperation; and many has prayed and fasted; and churches has longed and strained; and ministers has went through great strains... But we thank Thee, Lord, that in all of it there has been great things accomplished. How would I know that preachers won't come from this meeting? How would I know that something isn't done, that'll inspire men are already ordained to preach? We just thank Thee for all of it.
Many are healed. Thou will confirm the word of Thy servant, and the ministering brothers and neighbors will find out, and know that my words are true, that they're Your Words that I speak for You: that many here is healed and doesn't know it yet.

E-27 Maintenant, Père, je Te prie de nous bénir à la clôture de cette série de réunions cet après-midi. Ô Dieu, que ces églises grandissent et prospèrent par un réveil jusqu’à ce que Jésus revienne. Accorde-le, Seigneur. Ecoute les prières de Ton peuple. Et nous Te remercions pour la révérence et le respect de ce peuple.
Et il est écrit dans Ta Parole: «Toutes les fois que vous faites ces choses au plus petit (et ça pourrait être moi), au plus petit de Mes petits, c’est à Moi que vous les faites.»
Et comme ils ont honoré la Parole que j’ai prêchée... Et cet aimable frère qui a fait cette déclaration il y a quelques instants, lorsqu’on me présentait... ô Dieu, je Te prie de le bénir abondamment. Et je comprends qu’Il a parlé au nom du peuple, car ils ont tous réagi en applaudissant. Et je prie que les richesses de Tes bénédictions soient sur eux, Seigneur. Accorde-le.

And it is written in Thy Word, "Insomuch as you do unto the least (and that would be me), the least of My little ones, you have did it unto Me."
And as they have respected the Word that I have preached... And this lovely brother making that statement a few moments ago in my introduction... God, I pray that You will bless him abundantly. And I realize that he spoke for the people, for they all cheered back. And I pray that the riches of Your blessings will be upon them, Lord. Grant it.

Nous comprenons que ceci est un temps de secousse, le temps où l’Eglise deviendra minoritaire. Car il est écrit: «Ne crains point, petit troupeau; car votre Père a bien voulu vous donner le Royaume.»
Et nous comprenons que cela doit en arriver à ce point où la paille et le blé doivent être séparés. Et nous savons que c’est un temps de séparation, où le monde continuera à empirer. Mais l’Eglise deviendra plus préoccupée, et Ton Esprit deviendra constamment plus glorieux et plus puissant dans l’Eglise jusqu’à ce que Christ et l’Eglise s’unissent ensemble.
| E-28 I pray for all their ministries and their churches. May they prosper, and build, and--and extend, and the audiences be greater, and the pews all fill, and the altars packed, and--and great healing miracles will take place by their hands. That You've been so close to us, Lord, that it encourages us to know that You are still with us. We realize that this is a shaking time, that when the church will come to the minority. For it is written, "Fear not, little flock, it's your Father's good will to give you the Kingdom."
And we realize that that must come to that place, that the chafe and wheat must be separated. And we know that this is a separating time, when the world will continue to grow worse. But the Church will become more concerned, and Your Spirit will get greater and more powerful all the time in the Church until Christ and the Church unites together.

E-29 Seigneur, aide-nous cet après-midi, afin qu’il n’y ait aucune personne faible parmi nous, lorsque nous quitterons. Maintenant, je remets ces gens entre Tes mains. Je me remets moi-même entre Tes mains. Seigneur, oeuvre par nous. Donne-nous quelque chose de plus cet après-midi à la fin de ce service, afin que nous puissions tous nous en souvenir aussi longtemps que nous serons en vie, pour les réunions qui vont suivre.
Nous demandons cette bénédiction alors que nous lisons la Parole. Arrose-La, Seigneur. Tu as dit: «Ma Parole ne reviendra point à Moi à vide. Elle accomplira ce à quoi Elle a été destinée.»
Et tous les malades qui sont ici cet après-midi, qu’il n’y ait aucune personne faible lorsque ce service sera terminé. Que Dieu devienne si réel pour eux que toutes les ténèbres du doute ou de la superstition seront ôtées de leurs coeurs et qu’ils verront parfaitement le Seigneur Jésus en action dans Son Eglise. Accorde-le, Seigneur. Et puis, qu’ils puissent saisir la foi de cela et sortir d’ici des hommes et des femmes, des garçons et des filles en bonne santé cet après-midi.
| E-29 Lord, help us this afternoon that there will not be one feeble person in our midst when we leave. Now, I commit these people to Your hands. I commit myself to Your hands. Lord, work with us. Give us something extra this afternoon at the closing of this service, that we all might remember it as long as we live, with the rest of the meeting.
We pray this blessing as we read the Word. Water It, Lord. You said, "My Word will not return to Me void. It will accomplish that which It was purposed for."
And all the sick that's here this afternoon. May there not be one feeble person when this services is over. May God come so real to them, that all the blackness of doubt or superstitions would be drove from their hearts and they would see perfectly the Lord Jesus in operation among His Church. Grant it, Lord. And then, let them catch the faith of that and move out of here as well men and women, boys and girls this afternoon.

E-30 Nous Te remercions pour la guérison de ce petit bébé chéri. Et j’en suis si heureux. Cependant, j’ai dit à mon épouse dimanche dernier: «Je n’ai pas faim. N’allons pas manger.» Mais, gentille qu’elle est, elle m’a persuadé, si bien que finalement je suis allé avec eux. Et alors, dans la rue, j’ai rencontré cette petite mère. Et Satan pensait pouvoir ravir la guérison à ce précieux bébé, en faisant que sa mère doute juste un petit peu là, parce que Tu lui avais dit qu’elle-même venait d’une certaine ville. Et c’est exactement ce que Tu voulais dire. Puis, pendant que nous nous tenions à côté de la voiture, Ton Glorieux Esprit est revenu, et Il lui a révélé la chose, et la lui a dite. Maintenant, aujourd’hui... Alors elle a cru. Maintenant, aujourd’hui, son petit bébé se porte bien. Nous en sommes très reconnaissants, Père.
Et tant d’autres, tous, beaucoup ont été guéris et nous T’en remercions. Des âmes ont été sauvées. Nous Te remercions pour cela. Et que toute chose soit pour Ton honneur et Ta gloire, car nous Te confions tout cela au Nom de Jésus-Christ, Ton Fils. Amen.
| E-30 We thank You for the healing of this little, darling baby. And I'm so glad. Yet, I told my wife last Sunday, "I'm not hungry. Let us not go to eat." But bless her heart, she persuaded me until finally I went with them. And then on the street, met this little mother. And there was a thing that Satan thought that he could rob that precious baby of that healing, causing that mother to doubt just a little bit there, because that You told her that she herself was from a certain city. And that's exactly what You meant. Then standing by the side of the car, how Your great Spirit come back again, and opened it up to her, and told her. Now, today... Then she believed. Now, today, her little baby is getting well. We're so grateful for that, Father.
And the many others, all, so many's been healed and we thank Thee for it. There's souls that's been saved. We thank Thee for it. And may each and every thing be to Thy honor and glory, for we commit it all to Thee in the Name of Jesus Christ, Thy Son. Amen.

Ce sont des bergers. Ils devraient être un peu méfiants, parce qu’ils paissent le troupeau de Dieu. Et le Saint-Esprit a fait d’eux des surveillants. Mais quand moi, avec ma vieille façon lente du Sud... Il y a longtemps je pensais que j’étais un prédicateur.
| E-31 Now, we're going to turn, this afternoon, to Saint Matthew for the closing message. And I--I tell you; I have to confess something. Saint Matthew, 14th chapter, 27th verse.
And I want to confess something. I thought I was preaching just a little hard. And I'm a little timid of--of ministers. You see? I'm a... They're shepherds. They should be a little suspicious, because they're feeding the flock of God. And the Holy Ghost has made them overseers. But when me with my old, slow southern way... I used to think I was the preacher a long time ago.

E-32 Je me souviens du moment où je... Mon père était un cavalier. Et il dressait des chevaux sauvages. Il était un vrai cavalier. Eh bien, je me souviens que lorsque je sortais, après que le vieux cheval de labour eut labouré le champ de maïs et tout, toute la journée, nous le faisions rentrer. Et je me procurais une grosse poignée de graterons, et je tirais cela là, et je serrais la sangle puis je montais sur lui. Ce pauvre vieux cheval était tellement vieux et tellement fatigué, vous savez, qu’il n’arrivait même pas à soulever ses pattes. Il hennissait tout simplement, vous savez... Et j’agitais mon chapeau d’un côté et de l’autre. Je pensais que j’étais un cavalier.
Je disais: «Oh! la la! Ils ont besoin de moi à l’Ouest pour dresser leurs chevaux.»
| E-32 I remember when I... My father was a rider. And he used to break broncos. And he was a real rider. Well, I remember when I'd go out, after plowing corn and things all day, we'd bring the old plow horse in. Dad would still be at the back of the field plowing. We had an old, wooden water trough. Do you remember them? Old log hollowed out where the horses drink, you know, an old artisan well?
And I would bring the old horse down there, and pull the harness off. And then we'd... I'd get pop's saddle, you know, and get out there. And my little brothers would set around on the fence. And I'd get me a big handful of cockleburs, and pull it up there, and tighten down the cinch, and climb up on him. That poor, old horse was so old and tired, you know, he couldn't get his feet off the ground. Just bawl, you know... And I'd throw that hat around. I thought I was a rider.
I said, "My, they need me out west to break their horses."

E-33 Et à l’âge de dix-huit ans environ, je me suis éclipsé et je suis allé en Arizona. Il s’est fait que je suis arrivé là à la saison du rodéo. Eh bien, j’ai porté des jambières. Je voulais toujours en avoir. Celles de papa étaient délabrées au point que... Il s’était blessé et avait donc dû abandonner l’équitation.
Et je me disais que je me procurerais des jambières en cuir. Et je suis allé et j’en ai portées. J’étais de toute façon petit, vous savez. Et cela venait d’un de ces gens de l’Ouest aux longues jambes. Et il y avait suffisamment de cuir qui retombait sur le sol, de quoi faire presque une selle. Je ressemblais à l’un de ces petits coqs avec ses plumes, vous savez, vous voyez... Je n’arrivais pas à porter ces choses. Alors, je voulais ramener l’argent de la selle à la maison, vous savez, «monter la selle argentée». Vous savez de quoi je parle.
| E-33 And about eighteen years old, I slipped off and went to Arizona. Happened to be there in time of rodeo. Well, I put on a pair of chaps. I always wanted a pair. Pop's was wore out so... He got hurt, so he had to quit riding.
And I thought I'd get me a pair of chaps. And I went out and put me on a pair. I was little anyhow, you know. And it was from one of them long-legged westerners. And there was enough leather laying out on the floor to make a saddle out of, nearly. Looked like one of these little bantay roosters with them feathers, you know, see... I couldn't wear them things. So I wanted to take the saddle money home, you know, ride the silver saddle. You know what I speak of.

E-34 Je me suis donc procuré un Levis, et je suis allé jusqu’à–à l’enclos. Et on disait qu’on allait amener un cheval indomptable. Et ainsi, un célèbre cavalier allait le monter. Et je me suis assis là et je regardais tous ces vieux cow-boys défigurés, vous savez, assis sur cette clôture, en train d’observer. Je suis monté m’asseoir à côté d’eux. Je regardais... Je voyais leurs salopettes, vous savez, toutes lisses et usées. La mienne, comme je viens de le dire, était neuve; j’étais de toute façon un cavalier, vous savez.
Je me suis dit: «Je vais leur montrer comment monter ces chevaux à l’Ouest. Je vais leur apprendre comment ça se fait.»
J’étais assis là et je les voyais partout, vous savez... Et tout d’abord, et ce gars est sorti d’un box sur un cheval qui s’appelait Yellow Fever, il avait une grande marque sur sa hanche. A peu près trois ou quatre ruades, un roulement ou deux fois des épaules et le cheval est allé d’un côté, le cavalier de l’autre. Le personnel de ramassage a pris le cheval et l’ambulance a pris le cavalier.
L’animateur est venu et a dit: «J’offre cent dollars à tout homme qui le montera pendant trente secondes.» Il est venu là et il s’est arrêté devant moi. Il a dit: «Es-tu un cavalier?»
J’ai dit: «Non, non.»
Cela m’a aussitôt dégonflé.
| E-34 So I got me a pair of Levi's and went out to the--the pen. And they said they was going to bring out an outlaw horse. And so, some famous rider was going to ride him. And I settled up there and looked at all these old disfigured cowboys, you know, setting on this fence, watching. I climbed up and set down by them. Looked... I seen their overalls, you know, all slicked and worn. Mine just told it was a new pair; I was a rider anyhow, you know.
I thought, "I'll show them how to ride these horses out west. I'll tell them how it's done."
Setting there looking them all over, you know... And first thing you know, they'd come out of a shoot, this guy did on a horse called Yellow Fever, a big brand on his hip. About three or four bucks and a sunfish or two, and the horse went one way, the rider another. The pickups got the horse, and the ambulance got the rider.
The caller come by and said, "I'll give any man a hundred dollars that'll ride him thirty seconds." He come down through there, and he stopped in front of me. He said, "Are you a rider?"
I said, "No, sir."
That took the wind out of me right now.

E-35 Quand j’étais un jeune prédicateur baptiste, je portais ma Bible sous le bras, vous savez, et je descendais en ville. Et je voyais différentes personnes. Elles disaient: «Bonjour, Révérend.» Oh! Quel sentiment de grandeur! Vous savez. Ça, oui.
«Etes-vous prédicateur?»
«Oh! bien sûr.»
Un jour, il y eut une petite fille du nom de Betty Daugherty. Vous avez lu l’histoire. Dans mon ministère, elle fut guérie... La première personne qu’on m’a envoyée dans mon ministère, lorsque celui-ci m’a été confirmé là-bas. Et son père était un prédicateur pentecôtiste. Et je suis allé à la réunion. Oh! la la! dites donc, cet homme prêchait au point de... Il n’avait pas besoin de microphone. Il prêchait jusqu’à avoir le visage cyanosé, il ployait les genoux, et il touchait presque le sol et se redressait en reprenant son souffle. On pouvait l’entendre à environ trois ou quatre pâtés de maisons, toujours en train de prêcher.
Alors, quand quelqu’un disait: «Etes-vous prédicateur?»
Je disais: «Pas du tout. Je ne le suis pas. Pas du tout.»
| E-35 When I was a little Baptist preacher, I used to pack my Bible under my arm, you know, and go downtown. And I'd see the different ones. They'd say, "Hello, Reverend." Oh, that felt big, you know. Yes, sir.
"Are you a preacher?"
"Oh, sure I am."
One day, there was a little girl by the name of Betty Daugherty. You read the story. In my ministry was healed... The first one in my ministry sent when it was confirmed to me over there. And her father was a Pentecostal preacher. And I went down to the meeting. My, oh, my... That man would preach, till... He didn't need no microphone. He would preach till he would turn blue in the face, buckle in his knees, and go almost to the floor, come back catching his breath. You could hear him about three or four blocks away still preaching.
Somebody'd say, "You a preacher?"
I said, "No, sir. I'm not. No, sir."

E-36 Avec mes pauvres manières lentes du Sud, je ne peux pas penser cela aussi rapidement. C’est tout. Je prends en quelque sorte mon temps. Et je fais des manoeuvres et m’attend plutôt à l’Esprit. Et je suis simplement trop lent. C’est tout. Ces frères pentecôtistes prendraient simplement de l’avance et me laisseraient. Ainsi donc, il me faudrait beaucoup de courage pour me dire prédicateur sur cette estrade quand je sais qui sont assis derrière moi, vous savez. Ainsi, j’y vais doucement...
Mais quand je les ai entendus dire qu’ils ont apprécié la prédication sur la sainteté, et certains de ces ministres me serraient la main et disaient: «Ça, c’est excellent, Frère Branham. Ça nous encourage à avancer.»
Oh! J’ai arrêté de prêcher il y a deux, trois soirées et je me suis mis simplement à témoigner, parce que j’avais peur que je sois... que je devienne un peu dur là-dessus, vous savez. Alors je–j’ai simplement laissé aller la chose. Mais je... La prochaine fois que je reviendrai, je continuerai à prêcher, parce que je sais que vous supportez la vieille manière sassafras. Combien savent ce que c’est que sassafras? Dis donc, fiston...
| E-36 My old, slow southern ways just can't think of it that fast. That's all. I just kind of take my time and maneuver around and kind of wait on the Spirit. And I'm just too slow. That's all. Them Pentecostal brethren would just run off and leave me. So then, I'm kind of slow about saying about being a preacher up on the platform when I know that's behind me, you know. So I'm taking it easy...
But when I heard them say, "Preaching on holiness, they appreciated it," and some of those ministers shaking my hands and saying, "That's good, Brother Branham. That gives us courage to move on."
Oh, I quit preaching a couple--three nights ago and just started testifying, 'cause I was afraid that I was--might be getting a little rough on it, you know. So I--I just let it go. But I... Next time I come back, I'll continue on preaching, 'cause I know that you just do put up with the old fashion sassafras. How many knows what sassafras is? Say, boy...

E-37 Combien ont déjà dormi sur un matelas de paille? Combien viennent du Kentucky? Oh! la la! Ce–c’est vraiment... C’est ça le Kentuck-... Eh bien, je suis né sur un matelas de paille. C’est juste. J’ai dormi sur un oreiller en spathes presque toute ma vie. Nous n’avions jamais eu de lumière électrique jusque tout récemment.
Et je me souviens que papa avait l’habitude de se raser, et il utilisait des spathes de maïs, vous savez. Il se fabriquait une brosse à raser, il allait au baquet de maman, il prenait le vieux savon de lessive qu’elle... Nous faisions bouillir cette vieille histoire pour fabriquer du savon de lessive. Et nous frottions comme cela, il se lavait la tête et tout avec ce même savon de lessive, il prenait sa vieille brosse et mettait un peu de mousse de savon sur son visage et se rasait. Oh! la la! J’aurais quand même souhaité le revoir; certainement.
| E-37 How many ever slept on a straw tick? How many's from Kentucky? My, that--that's really... That's Kentuck--Why, I was borned on a straw tick. That's right. Slept on a shuck pillow just pretty near all my life. We never had electric lights till just recently.
And I remember pop used to shave, and he'd have a bunch of shucks off of the corn, you know. Made hisself a shaving brush, go out to mom's tub, get the old lye soap that she... We boiled up the old stuff that made the lye soap. And we rubbed up like that, wash his head and everything with that same lye soap, take this old brush and put the little soap suds on his face and shave. Oh, my. Wished I could see him again though, sure wished I could.

E-38 Mais tenez fortement Christ; ou plutôt ceci: laissez Christ vous tenir fortement...?... C’est juste comme une fois, si seulement vous Le laissez vous tenir. Eh bien, nous ne sommes pas une grande église. C’est vrai. Mais je crois que Dieu nous tient.
Ma fillette Rebecca qui est là, je raconte une petite histoire qui s’est passée une fois entre elle et Sara. Elles sont–elles sont toutes deux des fillettes à papa, vous savez. Et ainsi, je m’absentais pendant longtemps, vous savez, et je–j’aime mes enfants. Et je ne rentrais peut-être qu’après des semaines. Et je me souviens de Rebecca lorsque je...
Sa naissance était un signe dans mon ministère. J’avais demandé au Seigneur de me permettre de rester à la maison jusqu’à la naissance du bébé. Et lorsque je... elle est née, je suis parti en voyage, puis je suis revenu, et elle a commencé à me connaître. Quand elle a eu environ six mois ou quelque chose comme ça, je suis allé tenir des réunions à Saint Louis et quelques réunions dans l’Arkansas, puis j’ai continué dans le Sud. Et ainsi, quand je suis parti, je ne suis pas revenu pendant presque un an. Quand je suis revenu par un jour froid... et nous n’avions que deux petites pièces où nous vivions, et on avait coincé un édredon dans la porte et on l’avait introduit de force. Il faisait environ moins dix-sept degrés celsius.
| E-38 But hold on to Christ; or this, let Christ hold on to you...?... It's just like one time, if you'll just let Him hold you. Now, we're not a big church. That's true. But I believe God's holding us.
My little girl, Rebekah there, I tell a little story on her and Sarah one time. Their--their both daddy's little girls, you know. And so, I'd be out late, you know, and I--I love my children. And I wouldn't come in till maybe weeks. And I remember Rebekah when I...
Her birth was the marking of my ministry. I asked the Lord if He'd let me stay home until the baby was born. And when I--she was born, and I went up on a trip, and come back, and she begin to know me. After about six months old or something, I made St. Louis and a few of the Arkansas meetings, went on down in the south. And when I left then, I never come back for nearly a year. When I come in one cold day, and we had two little rooms we were living in, and had quilt stuck in the door and pushed in. It was around zero weather.

E-39 Et pour éviter que le bébé ne–ne m’oublie, la mère avait mis ma photo là, elle disait à Rebecca, elle disait: «Papa, papa.»
Mais lorsque je suis revenu, j’avais perdu environ vingt-cinq livres [11,3 kg], et j’avais perdu presque tous mes cheveux. J’ai dit: «Bonjour, chérie.» Elle a eu peur; elle a pleuré. Elle avait peur de moi. Mon propre enfant avait peur de moi!
Et la mère a essayé de dire: «Papa», en lui montrant la photo. Ça, c’était papa, pas cet homme. Cela a failli me tuer!
Finalement, j’ai pris ses petites jambes, je les ai tirées de part et d’autre de mon ventre, et je l’ai fait asseoir, et je me suis mis à la tapoter et à lui dire que j’étais papa, et que j’étais parti servir le Seigneur. Et finalement, elle a posé sa petite tête sur ma poitrine. Elle est restée là pendant un moment, puis elle s’est relevée et a regardé la photo, puis elle m’a regardé de nouveau. Finalement, elle a réalisé que c’était moi, vous savez.
| E-39 And to keep the baby from--for forgetting me, mother had my picture setting there, and she'd say to Rebekah, and she'd say, "Daddy, daddy."
But when I come back, I'd lost about twenty-five pounds, and nearly all my hair was gone. I said, "Hi, sweetheart." She was scared; she cried. She was afraid of me. My own child afraid of me.
And mother tried to say, "Daddy," and she'd point to the picture. That was daddy, not this. That liked to kill me.
Finally I got her little legs, and pulled them around my stomach, and set down, and begin pat her, and tell her I was daddy, and I'd been out working for the Lord. And finally, she laid her little head over on my chest. She laid there a little while and she'd raise back up and look at that picture, then look at me again. Finally she'd making up her mind it was me, you know.

Voici venir Sara, sa toute petite soeur, toute petite, environ comme ceci, portant un ancien vêtement de Becky. Je pense que vos enfants le font aussi. Les pieds trop longs comme ça, à peu près, vous savez, et voici qu’elle jetait brutalement ses grands pieds qui ressortaient, avec ses petits yeux bruns.
Mais Becky a sauté directement à califourchon sur mon genou, comme ceci, et elle m’a entouré de ses bras comme ceci et elle a dit: «Sara, ma soeur, je veux que tu saches que je suis arrivée ici la première. (C’est ce que certaines grandes églises dénominationnelles se disent, qu’elles étaient là les premières. Vous voyez? Vous voyez? Vous voyez?) Et je me suis emparée de papa tout entier.»
Elle avait un bon équilibre, ses pieds étaient sur le plancher. Elle se balançait très bien, disant: «Je me suis emparée de papa tout entier, et il ne reste rien pour toi.»
| E-40 When her little sister was born, well, Becky is kind of a tall, thin, long-legged... And so they was waiting up one night for me to come home. And I got in kinda late. So then when I come home, why, they'd done went to bed.
And the next morning, I was so weary and tired, a lot of visions, and I'd sleep in. I couldn't sleep; I was too weary. And when I got up, come out in the room, why, set out there. First thing you know, Becky happened to wake up first. "Well, it's daylight. Daddy might be there." Here she come, them pajamas just a flying. And when she run, she...
Here comes Sarah, her little bitty sister, little bitty tot about like this, wearing Becky's hand-me-downs. I guess your children does that too. The feet about that much too long, you know, and here they was slamming them big feet coming through and her little, old brown eyes.
But Becky jumped right a straddle my knee, like this, and put her arms around me like this and said, "Sarah, my sister, I want you to know that I was here first. (That's the way some of the great denominational churches think they was there first. See, see, see?) And I've got all of daddy."
She was well-balanced; her feet was on the floor. She balanced herself up pretty good, said, "I've got all of daddy, and there's none left for you."

E-41 Pauvre petite Sara! Elle a baissé brusquement sa petite tête, ces petits yeux bruns m’ont regardé, rougis des larmes, et se sont mis à tourner. Et Becky m’étreignait fort. J’ai fait signe du doigt à Sara comme ceci, et j’ai avancé mon autre genou. Et la voici venir avec ces grandes jambes de pyjama flottant. Mais il y a une chose: Christ a pris donc possession de moi tout entier. C’est tout ce que je désire. Voyez-vous? Il est possible que je n’aie pas pris possession de Lui tout entier. Tant qu’Il a pris possession de moi tout entier, Il m’aidera et me donnera l’équilibre, jusqu’à ce que je devienne un peu plus grand, j’en suis sûr.
| E-41 Poor little Sarah, she ducked that little head, them little brown eyes looked at me, colored up with tears, and started to turn around. And Becky was hugging her up close to me. I motioned to Sarah like this with my finger and stuck my other knee out. And here she come, them big pajama feet flying. She jumped right, straddled my lap like that. And I just reached over and got her with both arms and hugged her up real tight.
She laid there a little bit against my chest. And she looked over to Becky, and she said, "Rebekah, my sister." She said, "It may be true that you've got all of daddy, but I want you to know daddy's got all of me."
That's it. We may not have a lot of theology; and we may not know too much about how to split a molecule, or we're not very old. But one thing: just so Christ has got all of me. That's all I want. See? I may not have all of Him. As long as He's got all of me, He will help me and balance me, until I grow a little older, I'm sure.

Et le grand pêcheur, comme nous le savons, Simon, un homme grand et imposant, chauve, avec des épaules larges, poussait la barque pour la faire partir de la berge... Et il a finalement réussi à la... à pousser la poupe, puis il a sauté lui-même à bord, et l’a poussée au large, et il a longé la rangée des autres sièges et a pris place à côté de son frère André.
Les gens qui étaient sur le rivage faisaient au revoir de la main, disant: «Que Dieu soit avec vous jusqu’à ce que nous allons nous revoir», et ils agitaient la main, et ils étaient si heureux à cause de la merveilleuse réunion de ce jour-là. Comme ils se mettaient à prendre leurs rames d’un commun accord pour ramer ensemble... C’est de cette manière qu’on fait avancer la barque, lorsqu’on donne le même coup de rame ensemble.

And the big fisherman, as we know, Simon, big, burly fellow, bald-headed, wide shoulders, pushing the boat off of the bank... And he finally got it--the stern pushed off, and climbed aboard himself, and shoved it out into the water and walked down along the rest of the seats, and took his place by the side of Andrew, his brother...
The people on the shore were waving good-bye, "God be with you until we meet again," and waving, and so happy because of the great meeting that day. As they started taking their oars with one accord, pulling together... That's the way you make the boat move is when you make the same stroke together.

E-43 C’est pour cela que je me suis tenu sur la brèche avec les frères pentecôtistes; lorsque nous pouvons nous tenir chacun à côté de notre rame et ramer avec les autres, la barque avancera comme il faut. Notre petite barque traversera l’océan de la vie, puisque nous naviguons sur l’océan solennel de la vie maintenant. Et c’est ce dont nous avons besoin: la coopération, la coordination et ramer ensemble sans arrêt. Cela déplacera certainement la charge.

E-44 Et je crois que c’était certainement Jean le jeune (puisqu’il était le plus jeune de tout le groupe.) ... L’avez-vous remarqué, frères, avec cette expression sur Son visage, lorsqu’Il a pris ces pains, qu’Il les a brisés, et qu’Il en a nourri cinq mille personnes? Pour moi, Il ressemblait à Jéhovah se tenant là. Et Il a brisé ces poissons et les a donnés et Son... Je me suis approché et j’ai regardé pour Le voir lorsqu’Il brisait ce poisson en deux et qu’Il le donnait. Et lorsqu’Il ramenait la main, il y avait un autre morceau de poisson cuit, là, au point que mille morceaux de poisson déjà cuits sont venus de ce morceau de poisson. Je L’ai vu lorsqu’Il brisait ce pain, qu’Il le donnait, et en ramenant la main, ce pain était de nouveau entier, et Il continuait simplement à en donner. Et je L’ai vu prendre tous ces paniers pleins de nourriture.
«Vous savez, frère, je peux vous assurer, a-t-il certainement dit, que nous n’avons pas été séduits. Cet homme a un certain lien avec Jéhovah; en effet, ma mère, lorsque j’étais encore petit garçon, me lisait des histoires, comment Jéhovah faisait pleuvoir du ciel du pain pour nourrir notre peuple, nos ancêtres pendant qu’ils traversaient le désert. Pendant quarante ans dans le désert, Jéhovah Dieu les a nourris, en faisant pleuvoir du ciel le pain cuit qui tombait sur le sol avec du miel dessus. I seen Him when He broke that biscuit, hand it out, reached back and that biscuit was whole again, just kept handing it out. And seen Him take up all those baskets full of food."
You know, brethren, I can assure you," he must have said, "that we're not deceived. That Man has some contact with Jehovah, because my mother, when I was a little boy, used to read stories to me how Jehovah rained bread out of heaven and fed our people, our ancient people, when they crossed the desert. For forty years in the wilderness, God Jehovah fed them out of heaven, rained the bread, cooked on the ground with honey on it. Now, this Man does things like Jehovah did them." Amen. I like that.

E-45 Jésus a dit: «Si vous ne pouvez pas Me croire, croyez les oeuvres que Je fais.»
Les autres ont dit: «Ce que Tu–Tu dis est faux. Tu rends témoignage de Toi-même.»
Il a dit: «Le témoignage est rendu par deux. Je suis un témoin, et Mon Père qui est avec Moi est l’autre Témoin. C’est Lui qui fait les oeuvres.» Il n’était donc pas seul. Le Père... Il a dit: «Si Je ne fais pas les oeuvres de Mon Père, alors ne Me croyez pas. Mais si Je fais les oeuvres de Mon Père, alors si vous ne pouvez pas Me croire, croyez les oeuvres, parce que les oeuvres sont de Mon Père.»

They said, "Your--your Word is wrong. You testify of yourself."
He said, "Two is a witness. I am one witness and My Father that's with Me is the other Witness. He does the works." So He wasn't alone. The Father... He said, "If I do not the works of My Father, then believe Me not. But if I do the works of My Father, then if you can't believe Me, believe the works, because the works is My Father."

Je peux entendre les frères en face de lui dans la barque dire: «Amen, Frère Jean. C’est tout à fait exact.»

So he said, "That must have been some connection with Jehovah, because Jehovah performed a miracle and fed the people with bread when they were hungry. And our Lord, this afternoon, fed the people with bread and fish when they were hungry. It must've been something, some contact He has with Jehovah. And I'm satisfied, no matter what our church says, no matter what the Pharisees says, or the Sadducees, or any. I know that we are not deceived in this Man, because He does the works of God. The same kind of works that God did, He does them also."
I can hear the brethren across the ship say, "Amen, Brother John. That's just exactly right."

Et tous les frères ont lâché leurs rames; en effet, il y avait juste cette petite accalmie qu’il y a avant la nuit et la légère brume sur le flanc des montagnes, un beau temps; tous les oiseaux volaient pour regagner leurs nids. Dieu les avait nourris toute la journée, et ils allaient se rassembler dans les nids pour la nuit.

You knew that. The Bible said so, that they called away many.'" "But," he said, "what convinced me, I can remember..."
And all the brethren let up their oars, because it was just that little lull before dark and the haze around the side of the mountains, a beautiful time, all the birds flying over, going to their nests. God had fed them through the day, and they were gathering into the nests for the evening.

Eh bien, mon père était un pharisien intransigeant, très intransigeant dans notre religion. Et il m’a bien enseigné la Bible.»
«Et je me rappelle bien la leçon, un jour, lorsqu’on était assis sur une vieille bûche, ou plutôt au bout de la barque après avoir ramé toute la journée. Et il devenait vieux et grisonnait. Il m’a pris sur ses genoux. Et je n’étais qu’un petit garçon. Et il a dit: ‘Simon, mon fils, ton père t’a élevé pour croire en Dieu. J’ai essayé de vivre notre religion de manière intransigeante, en tant que pharisien. Et je veux que tu grandisses pour servir Dieu et que tu croies en Lui. J’ai attendu tous les jours de ma vie, Simon, mon fils, pour voir la Venue du Messie. Je sais à quoi Il va ressembler. Je sais ce qu’Il sera lorsqu’Il viendra. Et je vois... Je ne crois pas que je pourrai Le voir.’»
| E-48 Oh, I'm so glad that God will gather His people at the evening time, aren't you? That's when the Bride's to be called. Did you know that? In the evening time, that's when Rebekah and Isaac met was in the evening time.

"And I can remember the lesson, one day, setting on an old log, or the end of the ship after we'd pulled all day. And he was getting old and gray. And he took me in his lap. And I was just a lad. And he said, 'Simon, my boy, your father has raised you to believe in God. I've tried to live the strict life of our religion, a Pharisee. And I want you to come up to serve God and believe Him. I've waited all my days, Simon, my son, to see the Messiah come. I know what He will look like. I know what He will be when He comes. And I see... I don't believe I'm going to be able to see Him.'"

Mais Il accomplira le signe du prophète, et c’est ainsi que tu reconnaîtras qu’Il est le vrai.’» Voyez-vous?
| E-49 And Simon might've stopped here and said, "I see my old father brush the hair back out of his eyes, as the gray beard and hair. We'd fished together on the Galilean sea here all of our lives. And he said, 'Simon, my son, you may live to see the Messiah. And when He comes, He will be a rejected One. Oh, He will not have much followers to follow Him. But He will call the elected of God. He will call. And Simon, I prayed so hard that I'd raise a boy that would be amongst God's elected. Now, Simon, when the Messiah cometh, I want you to remember. He will be criticized. He will made fun of. But here's the sign that you'll know He is the Messiah. He will be a God prophet, because Moses, the great prophet that we followed, said, 'The Lord, our God, shall raise up a prophet likened unto Him.' Now, He will be a prophet like Moses, but far greater than Moses. See? He will be a Prophet, King, Priest, Law-giver. He will be God in flesh. But He will do the sign of the prophet, and that's the way you'll know that He is the right One.'" See?

Et lorsqu’Il m’a regardé, j’ai su qu’Il était différent des autres hommes. Laissez-Le juste poser Son regard sur vous une fois. J’ai compris qu’il y avait quelque chose en Lui. Lorsque je L’ai entendu parler, Il ne parlait pas comme un homme ordinaire. Il ne parlait pas comme un pharisien. Il ne parlait pas comme un sacrificateur. Il parlait comme un homme qui savait de quoi Il parlait. Il était certainement convaincu de ce qu’Il disait. Et quand Il a terminé Son discours, je me suis levé et je L’ai regardé, émerveillé. Puis, Il s’est retourné et m’a regardé, et Il a dit, Il m’a appelé par mon nom. Il a dit: ‘Tu es Simon.’ Et pas seulement cela, mais Il connaissait le nom de mon vieux père, un homme pieux, qui est déjà mort. Il a dit: ‘Tu es le fils de Jonas.’»
| E-50 And he said, "Then when I walked up before this Jesus of Nazareth. And I thought, 'I'll go and see it's somebody falsely. I don't believe what Andrew's telling me. I believe he's just got caught up in some emotion.' But when I come off from my ship, he told me He was up there on the bank. And I went up and set down on a chunk, waited to hear this Galilean speak. And while He was speaking, He turned and looked at me. And when He looked at me, I knowed He was different from other men. Just let Him gaze upon you one time. I knowed there was something about Him. When I heard Him speak, He didn't speak like an ordinary man. He didn't speak like a Pharisee. He didn't speak like a priest. He spoke like a man that knowed what He was talking about. And He was certainly convinced on what He said. And when He got through His speech, I stood up and I looked at Him in amazement. And He turned and looked at me, and He said, called me by my name. Said, 'Your name is Simon.' Not only that, but He knowed the name of my godly old father that's gone on. Said, 'You are the son of Jonas.'"

E-51 Il a dit: «Frères, c’est ce qui m’a convaincu qu’Il était le Messie, un Prophète-Dieu, un Dieu-prophète. J’ai su que c’était le Messie, car Il n’avait aucun moyen de me connaître, et cependant, Il m’a appelé par mon nom; et mon père avait dit de veiller à cela. Pas seulement cela, mais Il m’a fait savoir qu’Il savait que mon père m’avait dit pareille chose. Je ne pourrai jamais oublier, frères, comment ces yeux me transperçaient pendant qu’Il me regardait. Et Il a dit: «Ton nom est Simon. Et le nom de ton père est Jonas.’» Il a dit: «C’est à ce moment-là que j’ai été convaincu qu’Il était le Messie de Dieu.»
J’aurais souhaité que nous soyons aussi simples que ça cet après-midi. J’aurais souhaité que le monde reconnaisse cela. «J’ai su qu’Il était le Messie.»
| E-51 Said, "Brethren, that's what convinced me He was Messiah, prophet-God, God prophet. I knowed that was the Messiah, because He had no way of knowing me; and yet He called my name; and my daddy said to look for that. Not only that, but He let me know that He knowed my daddy had told me such a thing. I can never forget, brethren, those eyes how they pierced me when they looked at me. And He said, 'Your name is Simon. And you father's name is Jonas.'" He said, "It was that time that I was convinced that He was the Messiah of God."
Wish we'd be that simple this afternoon. Wish the world would recognize that.
"I knew He was the Messiah."

E-52 C’est certainement Philippe qui, alors qu’il se tenait au milieu de la barque, a dit: «Frères, j’aimerais vous raconter l’histoire de frère Nathanaël qui est assis là près de l’autre rame. Et lorsque je suis allé lui dire de venir voir qui nous avons trouvé, Jésus de Nazareth, le Fils de Joseph, il a dit: ‘Peut-il venir de Nazareth quelque chose de bon?’ Et j’ai dit: ‘Viens, et vois.’»Eh bien, c’était une bonne chose à faire: venir voir par soi-même. «Et quelque part en route, tu te rappelles que tu disais, frère Nathanaël... nous nous sommes entretenus et je t’ai parlé de la fois où tu avais acheté ce poisson chez ce vieux pêcheur qui ne savait même pas signer le reçu, qui ne savait pas signer son propre nom, tellement il était illettré.»Et cependant, c’est lui qui a été établi chef de l’Eglise, et on lui a donné les clés de l’enfer et du séjour des morts... non, c’étaient les clés du Royaume. (Excusez-moi.) Jésus est ressuscité avec les clés de l’enfer et du séjour des morts. Lui, il a reçu les clés du Royaume. Maintenant...

And when I went over the told him to come, see Who we have found, Jesus of Nazareth, the Son of Joseph, he said, 'Could there be any good thing come out of Nazareth?' And I said, 'Come and see.'"
Now, that's a good thing to do: Come, see for yourself.
"And on the road around, you remember you'd say, Brother Nathanael, how we talked, and I told you when you bought them fish from that old fisherman that couldn't even sign the receipt, couldn't sign his own name, so illiterate."
And yet, he was made the head of the church and give the keys to hell and death--no, the keys to the Kingdom it was. I beg your pardon. Jesus raised with the keys for hell and death. He was give the keys to the Kingdom. Now...

And then Nathanael said, "Yes, I was surprised. I said to Him, 'Rabbi, when did You ever see me?' And He said, 'Before Philip called you when you were under the tree, I saw you.'" He said, "I was fully convinced that that was the Messiah. And I fell on my face before this Man and said, 'Thou art the Son of God. Thou art the King of Israel.' I was convinced, brethren."

And we seen our Lord stand there to that woman and see them hair drop down over her face with surprise when He said, 'Go, get your husband and come here.' She said, 'Sir, I have no husband.' Then we wondered, 'Uh-oh, here's a slip-up. Something's happened now.'"

He said, 'Thou hast said well, for you've had five, and the one you're living with now is not your husband.' How did it change her? A moment, the hair fell down, her big, pretty eyes shined. The tears rolled down her cheeks. She said, 'Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet. We know that the Messiah's a coming. And when the Messiah cometh, He will tell us these things.' And we were surprised how that the unlearned Samaritans would be looking for a sign of Messiah and know the true Messiahic sign. 'We know that when Messiah cometh...' Them people that wouldn't give us some food down there... Think that those people were trained well enough to know that when Messiah cometh, He'd give a Messiahic sign."

Ils (les vétérans) ont fait entrer leurs enfants, ils les ont simplement fait entrer dans l’Eglise méthodiste. C’est exactement ce que les pentecôtistes ont fait.
Je suis allé à l’une de grandes églises pentecôtistes il n’y a pas longtemps, franchement, il y a environ trois mois, et j’y étais invité. Et les gens savaient comment je prêche la sainteté. Et dans la salle chacune de leurs femmes, presque, portait de la manucure et leurs hommes avaient les cheveux coupés en brosse au sommet et en bas... Et dès que l’école du dimanche était terminée, chacune sortait de cette salle et s’en éloignait. Ils savaient que l’écorchage venait, alors ils ne sont pas restés. C’est tout. Ils ne voulaient pas rester pour subir cela. Cela n’a aidé personne, parce qu’ils vont devoir affronter cela au jour du Jugement. Vous ferez mieux de faire face à cela maintenant même et de vous en débarrasser pendant que la miséricorde est là. Mais là-bas, c’est là que la Pentecôte...
| E-58 And listen. As David duPlessis once said, God has no grandchildren. That's right. We getting too many grandchildren in Pentecost. That's right. God doesn't have a grandchild. Nowhere in the Bible says God has a grandchild. God has sons and daughters, but not grandchildren.
Now, what it is, now the first Methodist revival, they were sons and daughters of God. Then their... They, the old-timers, brought in their children then just put them in the Methodist church. That's exactly what the Pentecostals done.
I went to one of the great Pentecostal churches not long ago, frankly, about three months ago and was invited down. And they knowed how I preach holiness. And every one of their women, pretty near, in the building wearing manicure and their men with flat top haircuts and down... And soon as the Sunday school was over, each one walking out of that building and get away from there. They knowed they'd had a skinning coming, so they just didn't stay. That's all. They wouldn't stay and take it. That didn't help none, because they're going to have to meet it at the day of judgment. You might as well face it right now and get it over with when there's mercy. But there, that's where Pentecost...

E-59 Quel est le problème? Les vétérans qui priaient toute la nuit, les vétérans qui avaient le véritable–véritable et authentique salut, ils sont venus à la Pentecôte. Ils ont eu le Saint-Esprit. La raison pour laquelle le Message aveugle tant les gens aujourd’hui, c’est parce qu’ils ne sont pas habitués de voir le surnaturel. Nous avons besoin de la puissance de Dieu. Nous avons besoin de retourner à la véritable Pentecôte. Comme l’a dit récemment Billy Graham, vous ne pouvez pas ignorer l’Eglise pentecôtiste, parce que c’est l’église qui connaît la croissance la plus rapide dans le monde aujourd’hui.
| E-59 What is it? The old-timers that used pray all night long, the old-timers that had real, real genuine salvation. They come into Pentecost. They got the Holy Ghost. They brought their children and put them on the cradle roll down there. And the first thing you know, we've got grandchildren in Pentecost. But God don't have grandchildren. They're all, every one, borned in His Kingdom sons and daughters of God (Amen.), sons and daughters. Not grandchildren, God don't have any. They're all sons and daughters.
That's why today, the Message blinds the people so much is because they're not used to seeing the supernatural. We need the power of God. We need back to real Pentecost. As Billy Graham said recently, you can't ignore the Pentecostal church, because it's the fastest growing church in the world today.

| E-60 The Sunday visitor of the Catholic church said last year that the Pentecostal church registered one million, five hundred thousand converts in one year, where the Catholic church itself never registered half that much. You can't ignore it with all the great ministers across the land. The Pentecostal church is still taking the front line. Why? You can't stop it. That's right. God ordained it, and she's gone. But when she gets to a place she goes bringing in grandchildren, adopting, and taking up the things of the world, God will move right on out. There'll be another group take it and go right on. That's right.
So get back to the firing land, brother. Stay under the anointing. Let nothing bother you. Now, back to those signs...

E-61 Aujourd’hui, alors que nous vivons dans le dernier jour, alors que nous voyons la pyramide être coiffée, la pierre qui avait été rejetée de la pyramide... L’Eglise devra avoir tant l’Esprit de Dieu en elle que cet Esprit fera les mêmes oeuvres que Jésus-Christ a faites ici sur terre, le Saint-Esprit ayant le contrôle total avant que cette femme, l’Eglise, puisse s’unir avec son mari, l’Epouse. Les petits-fils ne verront jamais cela. Ils disent simplement: «Je suis pentecôtiste. C’est tout.» Et ainsi de suite.
| E-61 Today, when we're living in the last day, when we see that the capping of the pyramid, the stone that was rejected out of the pyramid... They never did find out why the--the cornerstone was rejected in the temple. But they can't find a stone that would fit it.
But now, as she begins to heat to the top, each one of those stones coming from Luther, Methodist, Pentecost, then the church will have to get in such a place till when the real Headstone comes, It'll fit right joint by joint with it, like I said last night on the covenant.
The church will have to have the Spirit of God in it so much, till that Spirit will be doing the same works that Jesus Christ did here on earth, the Holy Ghost having complete control before that woman, the church, can ever unite with her husband, the Bride. Grandchildren will never see that. They just say, I'm Pentecostal. That's all," and go on.

| E-62 Pentecost is not an organization; Pentecost is an experience that anyone can have. It's a called out, a church, a elected group, small. Look in the days of Sodom as we preached this week. There was a great preachers went in into Sodom and begin to preach. They preached the message down there. But One stayed back and performed the signs in this little, bitty church, a minority. Watch the sign's It done, and Jesus said that same thing would repeat to the Gentiles in this last day. And here it is.
Now, notice. Getting late... Oh, it was about getting dark. And they was talking and this went on. Said, "We better row, brethren."

C’est entré au milieu des pentecôtistes, au point où il y a des millionnaires et tout chez les pentecôtistes; ce qui est une bonne chose. Nous... C’est pour... Ce n’est pas seulement pour les pauvres; c’est aussi pour les riches. Dieu est pour tout le monde, les riches ou les pauvres, tout le monde. Il y aura autant de gagne-petit en enfer que des millionnaires.
Il s’agit de votre attitude envers ce que Dieu vous donne. Etes-vous disposé à utiliser votre argent pour le Royaume de Dieu? Si oui, Dieu vous bénira, que ça soit un centime, que ça soit... Comme ce que la petite fille m’a donné hier soir, ou–ou ce que donnerait un grand multimillionnaire valant plusieurs millions de dollars... C’est la même chose pour Dieu. Eh bien...
| E-63 And Satan happened to look down from the top of some smokestack. And he happened to look. And he found the disciples had gone off without Jesus. Said, "Here's my chance."
And brother, a whole lot of that will compare with today. The church is trying to go on without Jesus. We've had an hour of prosperity when men made big wages, union, and so forth like that, making big money; the poor people's got it. It's got amongst the Pentecostal people, till there's millionaires and everything in Pentecost which is fine. We... It's for... It's not so much as the down-and-out; it's the up-and-out, too. God's for all, rich or poor, everybody. There'll be just as many "pennyaires" in hell as there will be millionaires.
It's your attitude towards what God give you. Are you willing to use your money for the Kingdom of God? If so, God will bless you, whether it's a penny or whether it's... Like the little girl give me last night, or--or some great multi-millionaire that's worth, many million dollars. Just the same to God. Now...

E-64 Nous avons eu un temps de prospérité. Nous avons eu de grands bâtiments, nous avons construit de grandes églises avec de beaux sièges, nous avons construit de grandes écoles et ainsi de suite, au point où j’ai peur que nous soyons partis sans Jésus. Le diable voit cela, et il les a vus sans Jésus.

So he begin to blow his breath, "Whew." [Brother Branham illustrates--Ed.] bringing up the wind. Said, "Now is the time to get rid of them. They're out there by theirself. He's not with them, so we'll just... I'll just blow my breath upon them, and that'll do the work. We'll sink them right out there in the sea and we'll get rid of them."

C’est au point que tout récemment, je suis allé à une–une grande église pentecôtiste pour leur demander si je pouvais emprunter des sièges à amener à l’auditoire où j’étais, et le pasteur a dit: «Je ne permettrais pas à quiconque a cru à la guérison divine de s’asseoir sur mes sièges.» C’est vrai: c’était à Hot Springs, dans l’Arkansas.
| E-65 And when he begin to blow his poison breath, the ship begin to toss from side to side. The oars broke, the sails fell, and the little ship was getting water-logged. All hopes that ever could be saved was gone.
And it's almost that way now, friends. Looky here; look in the city today; look at the revivals; look at the places. Every thing we got so much money, we have to take up millions of dollars and thousands of dollars a week till we got to do all this, that, and the other, and this kind of program and that. We've programmed it so much, until there's no time for prayer meeting, twenty minute sermon, or something another, until it's got to a place, till so many educated scholar boys come in.
Till here not long ago, I went into a--a great Pentecostal church to ask them if I could borrow some seats to got into my auditorium where I was at. And the pastor said, "I would not let anybody set on my seats that even believed in Divine healing." That's true: Hot Springs, Arkansas.

E-66 Maintenant... Eh bien, c’est une disgrâce pour le monde, et vous appelez cela la Pentecôte. Il se peut que ça soit la pentecôte au point de vue dénomination; ce n’est pas la Pentecôte du point de vue expérience. C’est juste.

And then, like that it's got to a place, in many of the great churches that are trying to smother the thing out, saying we're putting too much emphasis on Divine healing, on these other things and just getting it to a ritual. What is it? Your getting grandchildren in it; you're getting scholars in it in the stead of God-saved men.
Every man that comes to the platform's got to be a pretty, little, curly-haired Hollywood. We've got too much Hollywood evangelism today: preachers out on the platform, and their wives walking up-and-down there like poured into a skirt, with jewels all over their hands, and lipstick, and short hair. Et cette grande chorale pentecôtiste, se tenant là derrière, et l’homme allait prélever une offrande et combien ils blasphémaient la chose, s’en moquaient, se racontant de sales plaisanteries les uns aux autres... Une bande de femmes ayant du rouge à lèvres, du rouge, avec tous ces sourcils comme un démon, complètement rasés à l’exception d’un petit trait comme une tige d’allumette sur leurs visages et des choses comme cela, se tenant là...
Oh! Ils m’auraient vraiment jeté dehors. Je faisais les cent pas sur le plancher, disant: «Ô Dieu, fais que je garde la bouche fermée, je T’en prie, jusqu’à ce que je termine cette série de réunions.» Je me disais que je me présenterais là et dirais: «Vous n’êtes pas dignes de chanter dans une chorale pour le Royaume de Dieu.» Portant des robes [de cérémonie]...

And this great Pentecostal choir, standing back there, and the man was going to take up an offering, and if they didn't blaspheme it, make fun of it, telling jokes, dirty up-and-down one with another... A bunch of women wearing lipstick and rouge, and them eyebrows all look something like a devil, all of them plucked out but one little match stem streak across their face and things like that standing there...
Oh, if they wouldn't have throwed me out. I walked up-and-down the floor saying, "God hold me to keep my mouth shut, please till I get over this meeting." I thought I'd walk out there and say, "You're not fit to sing in a choir for the Kingdom of God." With robes on...

S’il y a quelque chose que j’aime, ce sont les bons cantiques pentecôtistes à l’ancienne mode, où même si un homme n’a même pas de voix pour appeler des cochons, il l’utilisera pour la gloire de Dieu et chantera dans l’Esprit. Je déteste vraiment une voix sur-exercée qui retient là une espèce de note jusqu’à ce que le visage devienne bleu: «Aaah...» Eux-mêmes, ils ne savent même pas ce qu’ils disent. Comment le Saint-Esprit peut-il entrer dans quelque chose comme cela? Je n’aime pas cela. J’aime la manière de chanter authentique du Saint-Esprit, là où on chante, on tape les mains et on loue Dieu.
Que se passe-t-il? Le diable est en train d’envoyer son souffle empoisonné, disant: «Tu veux te comporter comme les autres?»

How in the world can the Holy Spirit get into anything like that. I don't like that. I like genuine, Holy Ghost singing, where they sing and clap their hands and praise God.

E-69 Jésus ne les avait pas abandonnés. Vous avez entendu mon sermon sur l’Agneau et la Colombe, lorsque la colombe prend son envol, lorsqu’elle s’éloigne du loup. Ce n’est pas un agneau.

Il veut voir ce qu’en seront les résultats. Il viendra pour parler, accomplir des miracles et des prodiges, et s’en ira le coeur brisé, parce que les gens Le rejettent.

He hasn't left us. He proves it now, He hasn't left us. He never climbed the highest mountain; He climbed Calvary, and kept on climbing till He come into the Presence of God on the throne in glory. He climbed so high He could see the universe from His great throne. His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me. He watches you. He's watching this meeting. He wants to see what the results will be. He will come speak, do signs and wonders, and go away with a broken heart, because people turns Him down.

When atomic bombs in Russia, and all kinds of missiles and things are hanging in hangers, the U.N. is sinking and all the nations are against one another. And all we're doing is trying the buy fellowship and friendship. You can't buy fellowship and friendship. There's got to be a gift of God to do that. Certainly. Like a marriage that's built up on something like that will never hold. Listen, friends. You can't do that.

E-71 Et en cette heure sombre, la seule chose qui pouvait les secourir est venue vers eux, et ils en avaient peur. Il en est de même aujourd’hui. «Celui qui croit en Moi fera aussi les oeuvres que Je fais.»

"How do you know it's Him?" Because it does the works of Him. By their fruit you shall know them, by the fruit of the Spirit, you see what they do, you see the works that Jesus did.

Il fallait qu’Il vienne de la manière qu’eux le pensaient; c’est la même chose qui est arrivée aujourd’hui.
Nous avons piqué des crises, nous voyons si nous pouvons avoir plus de monde dans notre dénomination, nous parlons en mal de l’autre, nous la mettons en pièces pour bâtir la nôtre en faisant des prosélytes. «Un million de plus en 44», comme le disaient les baptistes cette année-là. Et vous y êtes, qu’est-ce que vous obtenez, sinon des adhérents à l’église? Au même moment, ils devaient congédier l’église pour accorder quinze minutes à tout le monde et au pasteur afin qu’ils se tiennent dans la cour de derrière et fument la cigarette, avant de revenir. Ne me dites pas le contraire, je me trouvais justement dans l’Eglise baptiste lorsque cela se faisait.
| E-72 Now, the trouble of it is, we get one little thing in the Bible. The Methodist, they got sanctification. They stayed right with it. They wouldn't budge for nothing. Luther got justification. Pentecostal got the Holy Ghost, speaking in tongues. That's just about the way they go.
Now, remember the Bible's full of Divine promises. The Pharisees had their way about it. But when Jesus come, He never contradicted the Scriptures. He come exactly the way the Scriptures said, but they thought He was coming another way. Had to come the way they thought it: That's the same thing happened today.
We've gone off on tantrums, see if we can get more in our denomination, say something evil against the other one, tear him down to build up ours, proselyte. "And a million more in forty-four," as the Baptist said in that year. And there you are, what do get but church joiners? The same time they had to dismiss the church and give fifteen minutes for all the people and the pastor to stand in the back yard and smoke cigarettes 'fore they come back in again. Tell me not, I was right in the Baptist church when it happened.

E-76 C’est ce qu’il en est aujourd’hui, mes amis. Cette vieille Bible est pleine de trésors, là, de bout en bout. Pourquoi devez-vous être malades ou indigents? Le médecin m’a dit que je vais devenir aveugle. Le médecin m’a dit que j’ai la tuberculose, toutes ces maladies. La petite barque est sur le point de sombrer alors qu’elle vogue sur l’océan solennel de la vie.»
| E-76 That's the way it is today, friends. This old Bible's just full of treasures, all through there. Why should you be sick or poverty stricken? Why should you be cold and indifferent, when the Bible is full of the promises of God? Don't be afraid; it's the Lord Jesus. Do you believe that? Let us bow our heads now.

Our heavenly Father, truly the Bible is full of promises. And every promise is real. Every promise is ours. You died that these promises might be fulfilled in us. Let the people not be afraid when they see that thing that You spoke of would come to pass, see it happening right among them.
May they embrace it and say, "Yes, Jesus, welcome into my little abode. It's being tossed about. The doctor told me I had cancer. The doctor told me I had tumor. The doctor told me I was going blind. The doctor told me I had TB, all of these diseases. The little boat's getting ready to sink as she's sailing life's solemn main."

See, you must remember, that in a man, there is nothing that can help you. How many knows that? Nothing in a man... We've got great men in the land today. We've got Brother Roberts, Brother Tommy Osborn, Brother Freeman, Brother Allen, great men of the Gospel. But yet, there isn't one thing in any of those men can heal you. If anybody says that, he's certainly off the line of the Scripture, for Jesus was wounded for our transgressions; with His stripes, we were healed. How many believe that?

A cancer come the greek word "crab," meaning "many legs," and it's a little cell that comes in you, and begins to multiply cells, and builds a great big thing in there, sucks your blood out of you and kills you. You know, that poisons you.

Et j’ai regardé. Voici que cette Lumière est venue se poser juste au-dessus d’eux; puis une vision est apparue au-dessus d’eux. Je ne les ai jamais vus de ma vie. Ils n’étaient pas dans la ligne de prière. Vous–vous n’étiez pas dans la ligne de prière, n’est-ce pas, monsieur? Vous n’aviez pas de carte de prière ni rien. Non, en effet, il ne reste aucune carte de prière. Ainsi donc, toutes les cartes de prière sont passées. Voyez-vous? Alors, vous y êtes.

See there? That man setting there, I never seen him in my life. And there the Spirit caught him, right like that. And I seen that Light flash around over the building. I looked out and thought, "What was that? Some reflection out there?" And I looked. Here come that Light settling right down over them; then a vision broke out over the top of them. Never seen them in my life. They wasn't in the prayer line. You--you wasn't in the prayer line, was you, sir? You had no prayer card or nothing. No, 'cause there's no prayer cards out. So then, all the prayer cards are gone. See? So there you are.

Oh! Combien nous Te remercions et Te louons, notre Seigneur, pour Ta bonté et Ta miséricorde envers les enfants des hommes!
Combien nous Te louons et T’exaltons, Toi le Juste et Véritable Fils de Dieu. Nous Te remercions pour ce que nos yeux ont vu, ce que nos oreilles ont entendu; nos yeux ont vu le Saint-Esprit.
Comme l’a dit le poète: «Mes yeux ont vu la gloire de la Venue du Seigneur.»
Sincèrement, Seigneur, mes oreilles ont entendu Ta voix parler, j’ai vu Cela agir et se manifester, puisque les démons Te sont soumis. Oh! Seigneur, les démons sont soumis à Ton Nom. Les démons sont soumis à Ton pouvoir, et les secrets des coeurs sont révélés. Les malades sont guéris. Les affligés se rétablissent. Les aveugles voient; les sourds entendent, les boiteux marchent, les morts sont ressuscités. La Venue du Seigneur est proche. Nous Te remercions, Seigneur!

How we praise Thee and magnify Thee, Thou righteous and truly Son of God. We thank Thee for what our eyes have seen, our ears have heard; our eyes have seen the Holy Spirit.
Like the poet said, "My eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord." Truly, Lord, my ears have heard Your voice speak, see It act and take place, that devils is subject unto You. Oh, Lord, devils is subject under Your Name. Devils is subject under Your power, and secrets of hearts is being made known. The sick are being healed. The afflicted people are getting well. The blind see; the deaf hear, the lame walk; the dead's raised up. The coming of the Lord is at hand. How we thank Thee, Lord.

E-118 Ô Dieu, bénis Klamath Falls, Seigneur. Déverse Ton Esprit sur ces ministres et ces pasteurs qui sont ici, ô Dieu, sur Ton Eglise, sur toutes les villes avoisinantes. Sauve chaque âme qui peut être sauvée, ô Dieu. Accorde-le. Je Te prie de l’accorder.
Et puis, ô Père, ces mouchoirs qui se trouvent ici, représentent les malades. Quelqu’un, quelque part, est souffrant. Lorsque ces mouchoirs seront mis sur les gens, que le Saint-Esprit vienne sur eux et guérisse leurs maladies. Accorde-le, Seigneur. Nous Te remercions et Te louons pour tout ce que Tu as fait. Et s’il y en a un ici, Seigneur, qui n’a pas encore la foi après T’avoir vu, qu’il n’ait pas l’impression que c’est un spectre ou quelque chose de faux. Qu’il entende cette douce Voix dire: «N’aie pas peur; c’est Moi. Aie bon courage.»Et puis, qu’ils T’accueillent dans leur petite barque cet après-midi. Qu’ils rentrent chez eux en se réjouissant, louant Dieu et en disant: «Nous L’avons vu.» Comme ceux qui revenaient d’Emmaüs après qu’ils eurent marché et crié toute la journée et toute la nuit, savaient que Tu étais mort, que Tu avais été mis dans la tombe et enseveli. Puis, Tu as marché avec eux. Et ensuite, quand Tu t’es retrouvé avec eux seuls dans la pièce, Tu as fait quelque chose exactement comme Tu l’avais fait avant Ta crucifixion. Et ils savaient que c’est Toi seul qui avais fait cela, alors ils ont reconnu que c’était Toi. Tu as fait la même chose pour nous aujourd’hui.
| E-118 God bless Klamath Falls, Lord. Pour out Your Spirit on these ministers and pastors here, God, upon Your Church, upon all the neighboring cities around about. Save every soul that can be saved, God. Grant it. I command that You grant it.
And then, Father, these handkerchiefs that's laying here, they represent sick people. Someone, somewhere, is suffering. When these handkerchiefs come upon the people, may the Holy Ghost come upon them and heal their sickness. Grant it, Lord. We thank and praise Thee for all that Thou hast done.
And if there be one here, Lord, yet, that doesn't have faith after seeing You, may they not feel that it's spooky or something wrong. May they hear that sweet Voice say, "Fear not; it is I. Be of a good courage."
And then, let them welcome You into their little bark this afternoon. They shall go to their home rejoicing and praising God, saying, "We seen Him." Like those who came from Emmaus after they'd walked and cried all day and through the night, and know that You was dead, and put in the grave, and buried. Then You walked with them. And then when You got them in a room to theirself, You did something just like You did before You were crucified. And they knowed that You alone did that, so they recognized it was You. You've done the same thing for us, today.

E-119 Après deux mille ans, Te voici aujourd’hui dans la réunion, faisant la même chose que Tu avais faite avant Ta crucifixion. Assurément, Tu n’es pas mort, Seigneur. Tu es vivant à jamais. Tu es ressuscité des morts, Tu as triomphé de la mort. Tu as fait de tous Tes ennemis Ton marchepied, et Tu as donné Ta puissance à Ton Eglise et à Ton peuple que Tu as rencontrés ici, et Tu es monté au Ciel, et Tu as fait des dons aux hommes. Et nous voici au temps de la fin, et la Lumière du soir brille.
«Vers le soir, a dit le poète, la lumière paraîtra. Vous trouverez certainement le sentier de la gloire.»
Ô Dieu, que les gens trouvent ce sentier et y marchent. Nous Te remercions pour tous ceux qui l’ont trouvé; et nous Te louons pour cela. Guéris chaque malade qui se trouve dans cette ville, chaque personne qui se trouve ici dans l’église. Et s’il y en a un ici, au balcon, n’importe où, qui est malade ou qui souffre, que ma prière fasse son expiation, pendant que l’onction du Saint-Esprit est sur moi. Que l’Esprit de Dieu, qui est capable de discerner les pensées du coeur... Comme le dit la Bible: «La Parole de Dieu est plus tranchante qu’une épée à deux tranchants, pénétrante jusqu’à partager la moelle des os, et elle discerne les pensées du coeur.»
| E-119 After two thousand years, here You are today in the meeting doing the same thing You done before Your crucifixion. Surely, You're not dead, Lord. You live forevermore. You've raised from the dead, triumphed over the dead. All Your enemies have been made Your footstool, and You give Your power to Your Church, and to Your people. You met here, and You ascended on high and give gifts to men. And here we are in the end time, the evening Light's a shining. "It'll be light," said the poet, "in the evening time. The path of glory you will surely find."
Oh, God, let people find that path and walk in it. We thank You for everyone that has found it; and we praise Thee for it. Heal every sick person that's in the city, every person that's here in the church. If there be one here, in the balcony, anywhere around that's sick or suffering, let my prayer atone for them, while the anointing of the Holy Ghost is upon me. Let the Spirit of God, Who can discern the thoughts of the heart...
As the Bible said, "The Word of God is sharper than a two-edged sword, even to a piercing to the asunder the marrow of the bone and a discerner of the thoughts of the heart."

E-120 Or, qu’est-ce que la Parole de Dieu? «Au commencement était la Parole. La Parole était avec Dieu. Et la Parole était Dieu; et la Parole a été faite chair, et Elle a habité parmi nous.»
Le voici aujourd’hui dans la résurrection, habitant parmi nous; la Parole est prêchée par la puissance du Saint-Esprit, et Elle discerne les pensées du coeur. Alléluia! Béni soit le Nom du Seigneur! Que les gens voient cela, Seigneur, avant qu’il ne soit trop tard. Je Te les confie au Nom de Jésus-Christ. Amen.
Croyez-vous? Croyez-vous de tout votre coeur? Pouvez-vous recevoir cela? Je vous confie à Jésus-Christ, l’Auteur et le Consommateur de notre foi, et au pasteur en tant que serviteur de Dieu. Que Dieu vous bénisse, jusqu’à ce que je vous revoie.

Here He is in the resurrection today, dwelling among us: The Word being preached by the power of the Holy Ghost and discerning the thoughts of the heart. Hallelujah. Blessed be the Name of the Lord.
