E-1 Bonsoir, les amis. Si nous pouvons rester debout juste un instant pour la prière. Inclinons la tête maintenant dans Sa Présence.
Bienveillant Père céleste, comme nous venons de nouveau ce soir en cette occasion solennelle pour parler à Ton peuple, nous nous rendons compte du grand besoin de l'heure; et nous nous rendons compte qu'une - une grande effusion de l'Esprit est possible, si seulement nous pouvions nous approcher de la bonne manière. C'est pourquoi, nous venons au Nom de Jésus-Christ implorer la miséricorde.
Et ainsi, Père, nous comprenons aussi ce soir que nous avons devant nous l'acquisition du Sang de Jésus-Christ, et combien nous devons en prendre soin. Et c'est trop de travail pour un être humain, ainsi nous demandons, Seigneur, que Tu accordes que le Saint-Esprit vienne maintenant pour oeuvrer en notre faveur et nous accorder les choses dont nous avons besoin. Et si nos désirs sont Ta volonté, Seigneur, nous Te prions ce soir de nous accorder pleinement nos désirs selon Sa miséricorde.
Guéris les malades, sauve les perdus, console les affligés, et révèle-Toi au milieu de nous. Et puisses-Tu faire quelque chose pour nous ce soir, Seigneur, quelque chose de spécial.
| E-1 Good evening, friends. May we remain standing just a moment for prayer. Let us bow our heads now in His Presence.
Gracious heavenly Father, as we come tonight again upon this solemn occasion to speak to Thy people, we realize the great need of the hour; and we realize the--the possibility of a great outpouring of the Spirit, if we can just approach in the right way. So we come in the Name of Jesus to ask for mercy.
And then, Father, we realize tonight again, that we have before us the purchase of the Blood of Jesus, and how we must handle this. And it's too much of a job for a human being, so we ask, Lord, that You'll let the Holy Spirit come now and minister to us, and give unto us the things that we have need of. And if our desires be Thy will, Lord, we pray that You'll pour out our desires to us tonight in His mercy.

E-2 Nous savons qu'un jour, en revenant, après la glorieuse résurrection, les femmes sont retournées de la tombe disant qu'Il était ressuscité. Et puis Simon est venu et a dit qu'Il était ressuscité. Et deux disciples étaient en route là vers Emmaüs, et un Etranger a surgi et leur a parlé chemin faisant. A la tombée du jour, ils L'ont invité à entrer. Ô Dieu, voici une autre tombée du jour. Nous T'invitons à entrer. Nous savons que c'est Toi qui nous as aidés tout au long du jour.
| E-2 Heal the sick, save the lost, comfort the uncomfortable, and make known Thyself in our midst. And may You do something tonight for us, Lord, a special thing.
We know one day, coming as after the great resurrection the women had returned from the tomb, and was saying that He was risen. And then Simon came and said that He was risen. And two were on the road over to Emmaus, and a Stranger walked out and talked to them through their journey. At the end of the day they invited Him in. God, this is another end of a day. We invite You in. We know it's been You that's helped us through the day.

E-3 Et ensuite, devant ces deux hommes, Cléopas et son ami, Tu as fait quelque chose exactement comme Tu l'avais fait avant Ta crucifixion. Par cela ils reconnurent que Tu étais ressuscité des morts et que Tu es vivant au milieu des gens. Ils se sont hâtés d'aller rapidement vers leurs camarades et ont dit: "C'est vrai, le Seigneur est ressuscité."
| E-3 And then in the presence of these two men, Cleopas and his friend, You did something just like You did it before Your crucifixion. By that they knew You were risen from the dead and alive among the people. They hurried quickly to their comrades and said, "Truly, the Lord is risen."
And, Father, we pray that You'll do something tonight in the midst of our gathering here just like You did it before the crucifixion, to confirm that after two thousand years You're still alive and remain the same God as You were then. We commit this to You as we lay our prayers and our faith upon Your golden altar, Lord, and call upon it the Name of the Lord Jesus, and ask that You grant our requests. Amen. You may be seated.

E-4 Et, Père, nous Te prions ce soir de faire, au cours de notre rassemblement ici, quelque chose exactement comme Tu l'avais fait avant la crucifixion, pour confirmer qu'après deux mille ans, Tu es toujours vivant et que Tu restes le même Dieu que Tu étais alors. Nous Te confions ceci pendant que nous déposons nos prières et notre foi sur Ton autel d'or, Seigneur, et nous invoquons sur cela le Nom du Seigneur Jésus, et Te demandons de nous accorder nos requêtes. Aujourd'hui, ç'a été une journée très inhabituelle. Ce matin, au déjeuner, nous avons passé un bien merveilleux temps de communion avec nos frères et soeurs. Et - et j'ai participé à beaucoup de déjeuners, mais c'est la première fois que je les ai vus revenir sans cesse et dire: "Voulez-vous une troisième portion? Une deuxième portion?" C'est toujours la petite portion là dans un coin, et on se rend compte qu'on n'a pas mangé assez. Mais, je vous assure, nous avons eu un jubilé gastronomique ce matin. Nous en avons eu certainement un. Nous étions vraiment rassasiés.
Et ensuite, les soeurs ne cessaient de venir tout autour, pour dire: "Pouvons-nous vous verser encore du café? Pouvons-nous vous donner encore des oeufs, ou...?" Et tout autour des tables. Il n'y avait certainement pas de raison que quelqu'un s'en aille affamé. Nous avons passé un temps excellent.
| E-4 Today has been a very unusual day. This morning at the breakfast we had such a wonderful time of fellowship around with our brothers and sisters. And--and I've been to many breakfasts, but it's the first time I ever had them to come back and say, "You want the third helping? second helping?" It's always the little part over on the corner, and you find out that you haven't had enough to eat. But I tell you, we had a gastronomical jubilee this morning. We certainly did. We really got filled up.
And then the sisters kept coming around, "Could we pour you some more coffee? Could we give you some more eggs, or...?" And all around the tables. It certainly was no reason for anyone to leave hungry. Had a grand time.

E-5 Et puis, j'ai fait une chose que je n'avais jamais faite auparavant. J'ai eu l'occasion de parler dans une synagogue juive. C'était ma première occasion. Un temps vraiment merveilleux. Et nous avons certainement communié là avec frère Michaelson, sachant... Je crois qu'il détient un diplôme de doctorat et on l'appelle Dr. Michaelson. Et je l'ai entendu dans "L'heure du chrétien hébreu", c'est vraiment une très brave âme, qui a sûrement un fardeau pour son peuple. J'avais toujours désiré ardemment rencontrer ce brave homme. Mais à ce moment-là il était en Palestine, je crois, avec ses fidèles, et le fardeau est sur son coeur. Et je n'avais jamais eu le privilège de le rencontrer, mais les gens disent qu'il a soixante-seize ans.
| E-5 And then, I did something that I never did before. I had the opportunity to speak in a Jewish synagogue. That was the first time I ever had. Just a great time. And we certainly had fellowship there with a Brother Michaelson, knowing... I believe he has a degree of doctor and they call him Dr. Michaelson. And I've heard him on the Hebrew Christian Hour, a very gallant soul indeed, certainly burdened for his people. I've always longed to meet this fine man. But at this time he was in Palestine, I believe, with his people, and the burden's upon his heart. And I've never had the privilege of meeting him, but they say he's seventy-six years old.

E-6 Lorsque j'étais... L'autre jour, quelqu'un m'a demandé, disant: "Frère Branham, quel âge avez-vous?"

| E-6 When I was... Someone asked me the other day, said, "Brother Branham, how old are you?"
I said, "Oh, I'm past twenty-five."
And--and they said, "How far?"
I said, "Just twenty-seven years past twenty-five."
So I thought I was getting old, till I heard that this morning, of seventy-six and still going. Then I felt real young then. I thought, "I've got a lot more time yet, if the Lord tarries." So sometimes we find those old soldiers, and makes... His associate is setting here behind me. I didn't notice him. Those old soldiers makes us feel kind of small then, when we think that we're done something.

E-7 Ainsi, je me disais que je me faisais vieux, jusqu'à ce que je l'aie entendu ce matin parler de soixante-seize ans, et il continue toujours. Je me suis alors senti vraiment jeune à ce moment-là. | E-7 I was speaking about precious old Brother Bosworth, when... How many ever knowed F. F. Bosworth? I guess many of you old soldiers did. When he was dying, he... I said to him, hurried down to meet him, and I seen him raised up. And he was eighty-four, I believe it was.
He'd just come out of Africa on missions with me. And his little old arms, his little bald head... Raised up his arms like that, and reached them out. And I ran over and threw my arms around him. I cried, "My father, my father, the chariots of Israel, the horsemen thereof."
And he said, "You know, Brother Branham," he said, "this is the most glorious hour of my life."
I said, "Do you know you're dying?"
He said, "Well, I can't die." Said, "I've been dead for sixty years." He said--he said, "I'm just fixing to change dwelling places."
And you know, all of you that knew him, he had a sense of humor, and he was talking to me there. And he said, "No, Brother Branham," he said, "of all my ministry, this is my happiest time." He said, "All that I have lived for for the past sixty years has been Christ. And at any minute He will walk in the door, and I'll go with Him." Oh, my.

E-8 Je parlais du précieux et brave frère Bosworth, lorsque... Combien ont connu F.F. Bosworth? Je pense que beaucoup d'entre vous, vieux soldats, l'avez connu. Quand il se mourait, il... | E-8 Before he died... He'd been kind of in a coma for a few hours. And he raised up in the room, standing there with his hand out, shaking hands with his converts of fifty years ago that had passed over the line. Oh, my. "Lives of great men all remind us..." as I quoted. I... Let my end be like that. That's right. A godly, saintly old man... So this is our age. We'll raise in this generation, and we'll have to stand judgment with these people.

E-9 Il revenait fraîchement d'une mission en Afrique avec moi. Et ses vieux petits bras, sa petite tête chauve... Il a levé ses bras comme cela, et les a étendus. Et j'ai accouru et je l'ai entouré de mes bras. J'ai crié: "Mon père, mon père! Chars d'Israël et sa cavalerie!"
Et il a dit: "Vous savez, Frère Branham, a-t-il dit, voici l'heure la plus glorieuse de ma vie."
J'ai dit: "Savez-vous que vous êtes mourant?"
Il a dit: "Eh bien, je ne peux pas mourir." Il a dit: "Il y a soixante ans que je suis mort." Il a dit - il a dit: "Je suis simplement sur le point de changer de demeure."
| E-9 The other day when I turned my fifty-third year, I said to the wife; I said, "You know, I would... What if in the morning when I wake up, if--I'm on my birthday--if there would stand the Lord, Jesus, as I noticed the Angel of the Lord standing in the corner, that Light... Beneath that Light would stand the Lord Jesus, and He'd come to me, and say, 'What is your desire?'" I'd say, "Lord, that I might live longer to serve You." And He'd say, "It's granted. I'll turn you back. Now, you'll be twenty years old, or eighteen years old. Live the rest of the time out again on serving Me."
But that wouldn't be right. If I went back to be twenty years old, then my wife... And here I've got a son twenty-seven. So that wouldn't be right. So then I thought, "Well, I love my wife so. And to see her forty-three years old and me eighteen; that wouldn't be right."

E-10 Et vous savez, vous tous qui l'avez connu, il avait le sens de l'humour, et il s'adressait à moi là. Et il a dit: "Non, Frère Branham, a-t-il dit, durant tout mon ministère, voici le moment où je suis le plus heureux." Il a dit: "Tout ce pour quoi j'ai vécu les soixante dernières années a été Christ. Et à tout instant Il franchira la porte, et j'irai avec Lui." Oh! la la!
| E-10 Then I thought, "Well, what would I ask for?" I thought, "Well, now, if I would say... Well, I--I couldn't ask for that, because... Again, here's another thing. See, these people that I preach to in my generation, I'll have to raise with that generation. See? I'll have to rise in the judgment with this generation, to declare the ministry that I've preached. See? So I couldn't go back in another generation and die over here under this generation after preached to this generation."
So I thought, "Well, as far as I know I'm healthy, as far as I know anything about. And I still got good sight; hearing's strong. And the ministry that He gave me, I'm so thankful for it. I've--I've done the best I could with it. So there's isn't but one thing I could do, and that's say, 'Lord Jesus, I'm thankful that I--that I'm what I am by the grace of God.'" That's right.

E-11 Avant qu'il ne meure... Il était en quelque sorte dans le coma pendant quelques heures. Et il s'est levé dans la chambre, s'est tenu là debout le bras tendu, serrant la main à ses convertis d'il y avait cinquante ans et qui étaient passés de l'autre côté. Oh! la la! "La vie de grands hommes nous rappelle..." comme je l'ai dit. Je... Que ma fin soit ainsi. C'est vrai. Un vieil homme pieux et saint... Ainsi ceci est notre âge. Nous ressusciterons dans cette génération, et nous devrons être jugés avec ces gens.
| E-11 Reminds me. It's no place for joking. I don't believe it should be here at all. But it's not said in the light of a joke, but just to make a statement. There was a colored sister who was in one of the conventions, and she said, "Well," she said, "I wants to give a testimony to the glory of God." She said, "I--I am not what I ought to be." And said, "I'm not what want to be. But then again, I know I'm not what used to be." So I thought that was very good. And I'm thankful for that, that I'm not what I used to be. And I guess we're all thankful for that, that we're not what we used to be, for we've passed from death unto Life. And if there's people here tonight who doesn't know that, and have that assurance, I trust that you'll not go out the doors until that soul is anchored in the haven of rest, to sail the wild seas no more.

E-12 L'autre jour, quand j'ai accompli ma cinquante-troisième année, j'ai dit à ma femme; j'ai dit: "Tu sais, Je pourrais... Qu'en serait-il, si le matin, quand je me suis réveillé, si... c'est mon anniversaire... si le Seigneur Jésus se tenait là, comme j'ai vu l'Ange du Seigneur se tenir au coin, cette Lumière... Si sous cette Lumière se tenait le Seigneur Jésus, et qu'Il venait vers moi, et qu'Il disait: "Quel est ton désir?" Je dirais: "Seigneur, que je vive plus longtemps pour Te servir." Et Il dirait: "C'est accordé. Je te fais rajeunir. Maintenant, tu auras vingt ans, ou dix-huit ans. Passe encore le reste de temps en Me servant."
Mais cela ne serait pas normal. Si je retournais pour avoir vingt ans, alors ma femme... Et j'ai ici un fils qui a vingt-sept ans. Ainsi cela ne serait pas normal. Ainsi donc, je me suis dit: "Eh bien, j'aime ma femme ainsi. Et la voir âgée de quarante-trois ans et moi de dix-huit ans, ça ne serait pas normal."
Puis, je me suis dit: "Eh bien, qu'est-ce que je demanderais?" Je me suis dit: "Eh bien, maintenant, si je disais... Eh bien, je - je ne peux pas demander cela, car... Voici encore autre chose. Voyez ces gens à qui je prêche dans ma génération, il me faudra ressusciter avec cette génération. Voyez-vous? J'aurai à me lever au jugement avec cette génération, pour confesser le ministère que j'ai prôné. Voyez-vous? Ainsi, je ne peux pas rajeunir pour être dans une autre génération et mourir ici dans cette génération-ci après avoir prêché à cette génération-ci."
| E-12 Now, last evening we didn't let you out till real late. Here it is late tonight. But we're going to go home early. And I haven't tried or attempted to start preaching, because... I don't preach very long: sometimes about six hours, or something like that. The other day I preached six hours at the Tabernacle, so I know you don't want me to start preaching. So I just get a little Scripture here, and read it, and pass some comments. And I don't even know what... Did Billy give out prayer cards? Did he give out prayer cards today? Oh, there's some left from last night. Well, we may call up a prayer line then. I don't know what He will have us do. I--I just like to stay in the sweetness of His Presence, and then enter the room, then just do what He tells me to do. See? That's right.

E-13 Alors je me suis dit: "Eh bien, tant que je sais que je suis en bonne santé, tant que je ne sais pas tout à ce sujet... Et j'ai toujours une bonne vue; mon ouïe est forte. Et le ministère qu'Il m'a donné, j'en suis très reconnaissant. J'ai - je l'ai exercé de mon mieux. Ainsi, il n'y a qu'une chose que je pourrais faire, et c'est de dire: "Seigneur Jésus, je suis reconnaissant que je - que je sois ce que je suis par la grâce de Dieu." C'est vrai.
| E-13 I think that we all love that. I think ministers should do that. It's not be out on parties and mixing up with peoples in--in a social affairs, I think we ought to stay in the quietness, in the Presence of the Lord. And that's tried to be a practice of mine, to enter in every afternoon at three o'clock, and then talk no more until I enter the pulpit that night.
Now, tonight for a Scripture reading, let us read over in the book of Saint--or of Hebrews, rather, pardon me, the 6th chapter, beginning with the 13th verse. I like to read the Word, because I know this Word will never fail. My word is the word of a man. It can fail. But if I read that Word, then I know that that's enough to anchor the meeting, that know then His Words will not fail.
Now, let's listen real close, as I'm giving a moment of time for you to get to the Scripture.

Et si ce soir il y a des gens qui ne le savent pas, et qui n'ont pas cette assurance, j'espère que vous ne sortirez pas de ces portes avant que cette âme soit ancrée dans le havre du repos, pour ne plus naviguer sur les mers en furie.
| E-14 Remember, that we mustn't never come to church to play religious. We mustn't come to just put on a religious act to go to church. We must come to worship in Spirit and in truth. We must be deeply and sincerely... We must really mean what we're coming here for. The days are getting evil. The time is evil. And we want to--we want to make every minute count, and especially when we're in the house of the Lord.

E-15 Eh bien, hier soir, nous vous avons retenus jusque très tard. Voici qu'il se fait tard ce soir. Mais nous allons rentrer chez nous de bonne heure. Et je n'ai pas essayé ou tenté de commencer la prédication, car... Je ne prêche pas très longtemps: des fois environ six heures ou quelque chose comme cela. L'autre jour j'ai prêché six heures au Tabernacle, je sais donc que vous ne voulez pas que je me mette à prêcher. Je n'ai donc qu'un petit passage de l'Ecriture ici, je vais le lire et je vais faire quelques commentaires. Et je ne sais même pas ce que... Billy a-t-il distribué des cartes de prière? A-t-il distribué des cartes de prière aujourd'hui? Oh! il y en a quelques-unes qui sont restées hier soir. Eh bien, nous pouvons alors appeler une ligne de prière. Je ne sais pas ce qu'Il voudra que nous fassions. Je - j'aime simplement rester dans la douceur de Sa Présence, et alors entrer dans la salle, ensuite faire ce qu'Il me dit de faire. Voyez-vous? C'est vrai.
| E-15 I'm looking here tonight at a little lady all bundled up, patched up, setting in a wheelchair. Another man setting here... I noticed his wife, or someone, then just wiped his face, setting in a chair. Here sets a lady over here in a wheelchair, feet propped out; an elderly lady setting in the back in a wheelchair...
Maybe some of them out there with heart trouble. Maybe they've heard hundreds of messages preached, but they're trying to find a way to health tonight. They're trying to find a way out. And maybe some of those in the wheelchair might live for many years yet. There may be someone setting in there with cancer that's going to die in the next few days if something doesn't happen. Or maybe someone setting there with heart trouble. Seems like that they're all right, but a blood clot moving right up. They may die in the next few hours if something isn't done.

E-16 Je pense que nous aimons tous cela. Je pense que les ministres devraient faire cela. Ce n'est pas aller dans les réceptions et se mêler aux gens dans - dans des affaires mondaines, je pense que nous devrions rester dans la tranquillité, dans la Présence du Seigneur. Bon, ce soir, comme passage de l'Ecriture, lisons dans le livre de Saint... plutôt dans le livre des Hébreux, excusez-moi, chapitre 6, à partir du verset 13. J'aime lire la Parole, car je sais que cette Parole ne faillira jamais. Ma parole, c'est la parole d'un homme. Elle peut faillir. Mais si je lis cette Parole, alors je sais que cela est suffisant pour asseoir la réunion, car je sais donc que Ses Paroles ne failliront pas.
Maintenant, écoutons très attentivement, pendant que je vous donne le temps de retrouver l'Ecriture.
| E-16 And above all that, there may be someone setting there who doesn't know the Lord Jesus. And they know they do not know Him in the power of His resurrection, pardoning of their sins. They'll perish when they die. And they know those who's out there maybe that's standing in a justified state, that's never been borned again of the Holy Spirit. They're waiting for that.
So you see, altogether... I said, made a remark, "If I had two drops of the literal Blood of Jesus in a--a glass, how I would hold it to my heart and weep; stand there watching that I didn't stumble to spill it, as I walked with it to wherever I was destined to go with it. How I would watch every step, that I didn't stumble, placing my feet just where they should be." I thought, "How I would hold those two drops of Blood."
But you know, in the sight of God tonight, setting before me is a greater thing to Him than His own Blood, because it's the purchase of His Blood. He shed His Blood for you, and here I hold you in listening tonight of the Gospel. Then how close I must be to tell you exactly the truth, because God will make me answer for it at the day of the judgment, more than if I took the Blood, the literal Blood, and threw it on the ground. It would be a greater penalty to mislead the people, the purchase of His Blood, than it would be to throw the Blood from the charger that I had it in.

E-17 Rappelez-vous que nous ne devons pas venir à l'église pour faire le religieux. Nous ne devons pas venir juste pour accomplir un acte religieux, en allant à l'église. Nous devons venir pour adorer en Esprit et en Vérité. Nous devons être profondément et sincèrement... Nous devons vraiment exprimer ce pour quoi nous venons ici. Les jours deviennent mauvais. Le temps est mauvais. Et nous voulons - nous voulons que chaque minute compte, et particulièrement quand nous sommes dans la maison du Seigneur.
Je suis en train de regarder ici ce soir une petite dame tout empaquetée, rafistolée, assise dans un fauteuil roulant. Un autre homme est assis ici... J'ai remarqué cette femme, ou plutôt quelqu'un, qui vient donc d'essuyer son visage, il est assis sur une chaise. Une dame est assise ici dans un fauteuil roulant, les pieds calés; une dame avancée en âge, assise au fond dans un fauteuil roulant...
| E-17 Now, let us be real sincere, as we read and study and pray now. In the 6th chapter the 13th verse we read.
For when God made promises to Abraham, because he... (Let me start that again, I turned two pages at once.)... because he... swear by no greater, he sware by himself,
Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.
And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.
For men verily swear by the greater: and the oath of confirmation is to the--them an end of all strife.
Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of... promises the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:
That by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have... strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
May the Lord bless His Word, as we speak about ten or fifteen minutes on it, and see what--when He leads us, what to do.
I was thinking on "Confirmation and Evidence." It seems like that man always requires a confirmation, or some sort of an evidence; and so much more as this time of--age of skeptics that we're living. Everything must be confirmed; it must be an evidence to it. And the--and the evidence of the confirmation gives us the assurety of what we are looking for.

E-18 Il se peut qu'il y ait là certains avec des troubles cardiaques. Peut-être qu'ils ont entendu des centaines de messages être prêchés, mais ils cherchent à se frayer un chemin vers la santé ce soir. Ils cherchent à se frayer un chemin. Et peut-être que quelques-uns de ceux qui sont dans les fauteuils roulants pourraient vivre encore pendant beaucoup d'années. Il y a peut-être quelqu'un, assis là avec un cancer, qui va mourir dans les quelques prochains jours si rien ne se passe. Ou peut-être quelqu'un est-il assis là étant cardiaque. Ils peuvent paraître en bonne santé, mais un caillot de sang monte directement. Ils peuvent mourir dans les quelques prochaines heures si rien n'est fait.
Et par dessus tout cela, il se peut qu'il y ait quelqu'un assis là, qui ne connaisse pas le Seigneur Jésus. Et ils savent qu'ils ne Le connaissent pas dans la puissance de Sa résurrection, dans le pardon de leurs péchés. Ils périront s'ils meurent. Et ils sont conscients, ceux qui sont là qui se sont arrêtés peut-être à l'étape de la justification, qui ne sont jamais nés de nouveau du Saint-Esprit. Ils attendent cela.
| E-18 When a man buys a car, he must have a deed to that car. And though he has not the car setting in his garage, if he has a deed, it's a confirmation to him that he owns that car, because he has a deed or the title.
And then, if we bought a piece of ground, though we have never seen the ground, know nothing about the ground, and yet we have an abstract deed to that ground, it belongs to us, whether we have seen it or not. It still belongs to us. The car belongs to us. Whether we have seen it or not, yet we have the--the title given to us, and we hold it in our possession, in our name, that that title shows us that we own that car. And the abstract deed tells us we own the property.

E-19 Ainsi, vous voyez, tout compte fait... J'ai dit, j'ai fait une remarque: "Si j'avais deux gouttes du Sang littéral de Jésus dans un - un verre, oh! comme je serrerais cela sur mon coeur et pleurerais; je serais là faisant attention pour ne pas trébucher et renverser cela, pendant que je me déplace avec cela vers où je suis censé aller avec. Oh! comme je veillerais à chaque pas, afin de ne pas trébucher, plaçant mes pieds juste là où il le faut! Je me suis dit: 'Comme je tiendrais ces deux gouttes de sang!'"
| E-19 Now, in Hebrews we're taught again, that the faith... Hebrews 11: "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." See? It is a substance. Now, it isn't a hope. Most people come with hope. But faith is the substance. It isn't something that you're hoping for. When faith has taken a hold, you have a substance, not just a myth. You've got a hold of something. You know it. Nothing shakes you from it. It's yours. You're positive. You have it in your hand. You've got it. It's your possession.

E-20 Mais vous savez, ce soir, pour Dieu, il y a devant moi une chose plus importante pour Lui que Son propre Sang, car ce sont ceux qui ont été acquis par Son Sang. Il a répandu Son Sang pour vous, et voici que je vous garde à écouter ce soir l'Evangile. Alors, combien je dois être plus attentif pour vous dire exactement la vérité, car Dieu me fera répondre pour cela au jour du Jugement, plus que si je prenais le Sang, le Sang littéral, et Le jetais par terre. Il y aura une plus grande peine si l'on trompe les gens, ceux qui ont été acquis par Son Sang, qu'il y en aurait pour avoir déversé le Sang du plateau sur lequel je L'aurais eu.
Eh bien, soyons vraiment sincères, pendant que nous lisons, et étudions, et prions maintenant. Au chapitre 6, verset 13, nous lisons:
Lorsque Dieu fit la promesse à Abraham, il... (Laissez-moi reprendre cela, j'ai tourné deux pages à la fois.) ne pouvant jurer par un plus grand que lui, Il jura par lui-même, et dit: Certainement, je bénirai et je multiplierai ta postérité. Et c'est ainsi qu'Abraham, ayant persévéré, obtint l'effet de la promesse. Or, les hommes jurent par celui qui est plus grand qu'eux, et le serment est une garantie qui met fin à tous leurs différends. C'est pourquoi Dieu, voulant montrer avec plus d'évidence aux héritiers de la promesse l'immutabilité de sa résolution, intervint par un serment, afin que, par deux choses immuables, dans lesquelles il est impossible que Dieu mente, nous trouvions... puissant encouragement, nous dont le seul refuge a été de saisir l'espérance qui nous était proposée.
Puisse le Seigneur bénir Sa Parole, pendant que nous parlons pour environ dix à quinze minutes, et que nous voyons ce que... quand Il nous conduit, ce que nous devons faire!
| E-20 For instance, if I was starving for--to--was dying of starvation, and a loaf of bread would save my life, and the purchase of a loaf of bread is twenty-five cents, and someone gave me the twenty-five cents, now, I can... Just as much as I can see, and know that I hold that twenty-five cents, which is the buying power of the loaf of bread, I can be just as happy with the twenty-five cents as I could be with the loaf of bread (See?), for I already have the purchasing power that buys the loaf of bread.
So that's the way faith is. Faith is something that you have. You know you got it. And when you receive faith that God is, then that God is going to give you this... Yet your healing might not be there, but yet, something has anchored within you that tells you that it's going to be all right. Then you can be just as happy as you were... You can be just as happy setting in the wheelchair, as if you were out there on the street jumping up and down, shouting and run--running around, praising God, because you've already got the evidence. It's already yours.

E-21 Je réfléchissais sur "La confirmation et L'évidence." C'est comme si l'homme a toujours besoin d'une confirmation ou d'une sorte d'évidence; et plus particulièrement dans ce temps de... l'âge des sceptiques dans lequel nous vivons. Tout doit être confirmé; ça doit être une évidence de la chose. Et la - et l'évidence de la confirmation nous donne l'assurance de ce que nous recherchons.
Lorsqu'un homme achète une voiture, il doit avoir un acte notarié pour cette voiture. Et même si la voiture n'est pas garée dans son garage, s'il a l'acte notarié, celui-ci représente pour lui une confirmation qu'il est le propriétaire de la voiture, car il a l'acte notarié ou le titre.
Et puis, si nous achetions un terrain, même si nous n'avons pas encore vu ce terrain, que nous ne sachions rien du terrain, mais que nous ayons le titre de propriété pour ce terrain, celui-ci nous appartient, que nous l'ayons vu ou non. Cela nous appartient toujours. La voiture nous appartient. Que nous l'ayons vue ou non, nous avons toutefois le - le titre qui nous a été donné, et nous avons cela en notre possession, en notre nom, car ce titre montre que nous sommes propriétaire de cette voiture. Et le titre de propriété nous dit que c'est notre propriété.
| E-21 See, it isn't a myth. It isn't an imagination. It's a--it's a substance. And anything that's a substance isn't a myth. It's something that you actually have got a hold of it. Now, there is where so many people fail to get healed. They have a hope instead of a faith. You hope that you will. You're--you're kinda have imaginary faith, because that you feel that you are--have appropriated that. But when actually you've got a hold of faith, it's a substance. It's something real. Then you hold that. And that's what brings it.

E-22 Maintenant, dans les Hébreux on nous enseigne de nouveau que la foi... Hébreux 11: "La foi est une ferme assurance des choses qu'on espère, une démonstration de celles qu'on ne voit pas." Voyez? C'est une ferme assurance. Or, ce n'est pas une espérance. La plupart des gens viennent avec l'espérance. Mais la foi est une ferme assurance. Ce n'est pas quelque chose que vous espérez. Lorsque la foi a trouvé prise, vous avez une ferme assurance, pas juste un mythe. Vous vous êtes emparé de quelque chose. Vous le savez. Rien ne vous bouge de là. Cela vous appartient. Vous êtes sûr. Vous avez la chose en main. Vous l'avez. Elle est votre possession.
| E-22 Where I wish I could have that instantaneously faith that I'd like to have, I'm sorry I do not have it. The only way that I anchor great faith is when He tells me something to do, or shows me to do it.
If He would appear here on the platform tonight, and would say to me, "Go to the presidential graveyard. Tomorrow morning at ten o'clock call George Washington from the dead," I'd invite the whole world to come watch it be done. Yes, sir. For I have faith in what has been told me, because never has He failed to confirm whatever He said to me. So I have faith in it, believing it, that it's the truth, because it's a built-up affair.
Down through life since a little boy, all the visions, of the thousands, not one of them has ever failed. Therefore, it's the truth. That gives me faith. I got faith in what He says.

E-23 Par exemple, si je mourais de faim pour ... à... je crevais de faim, et qu'un pain sauverait ma vie, et que le prix du pain soit de vingt-cinq cents, et que quelqu'un m'ait donné les vingt-cinq cents, je peux alors ... Tant que je vois, et que je sais que je détiens ces vingt-cinq cents qui représentent le pouvoir d'achat du pain, je peux être tout aussi heureux pour vingt-cinq cents que je le serais pour un pain (Voyez-vous?), car j'ai déjà le pouvoir d'acquisition qui achète un pain.
| E-23 Now, I've often wondered if sometimes I didn't go beyond the boundaries by saying, "God, give me faith to speak to this one, speak to that one, speak to that one." Now, we realize that our Lord Jesus, being Emmanuel, never did that, for He plainly said in St. John 5:19, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, the Son can do nothing in Himself, but what He sees the Father doing (not hears the Father saying, but sees the Father doing); that doeth the Son likewise."

E-24 Il en est donc ainsi de la foi. La foi, c'est quelque chose que vous avez. Vous savez que vous avez la chose. Et quand vous obtenez la foi selon laquelle Dieu existe, alors ce Dieu va vous donner ce... Cependant votre guérison peut ne pas être là, mais pourtant, quelque chose s'est ancré en vous qui vous dit que ça va marcher. Alors vous pouvez être tout aussi heureux que si vous étiez... Vous pouvez être tout aussi content, étant assis dans le fauteuil roulant, que si vous étiez là dans la rue sautillant, criant et cour... courant ici et là, louant Dieu, car vous avez déjà reçu l'évidence. La chose vous appartient déjà.
| E-24 See, there's got to be something happen that makes you have this--this evidence, this confirmation. Now, if God said, "It's going to be raining in the morning," it wouldn't be hard for me to make ready for the rain, because I know it's going to rain. Now, if we can change that around from seeing a vision, or hearing the audible voice of God... But to change it around to... The initial way of having faith is by hearing the written Word of God. Now, when God comes into our midst and proves Hisself to us, in giving us the Holy Spirit, speaking with tongues and giving interpretation, sending gifts among us, like that; or prophecy that stands at a certain place, and says a certain thing, and does a certain thing and proves it time after time, that it never fails, that should build us into a place that would give us a hold on that Word, that wouldn't let it loose. It ought to be a evidence right there. As long as God said so, that settles it. See?

E-25 Vous voyez, ce n'est pas un mythe. Ce n'est pas une imagination. C'est une - c'est une ferme assurance. Et tout ce qui est une ferme assurance n'est pas un mythe. C'est en fait quelque chose dont vous vous êtes emparé. Or, c'est là que les gens manquent d'être guéris. Ils ont l'espérance au lieu de la foi. Vous espérez que vous le serez. Vous avez - vous avez en quelque sorte une foi imaginaire, parce que vous sentez que vous êtes... vous vous êtes approprié cela. Mais en fait, lorsque vous vous êtes emparé de la foi, c'est une ferme assurance. C'est quelque chose de réel. Alors vous vous y cramponnez. Et c'est ce qui amène la chose.
| E-25 I'm afraid that many times that--that we--we don't stop long enough to think of the position that we are in. Now, most the people, or... I'm sorry I said that. Many people in the outside world, they look upon a meeting of this type as some kind of a hocus-pocus something, not knowing what they're saying. And we will give credit to this: that there has been many false representations of this.
But before you can have a bogus dollar, there has to be a real dollar for that bogus to be made off of. If it isn't, then the bogus is the original. See? As sure as there is a false, there's got to be a real one that it's made off of. So there is a real Holy Spirit, a real Divine healing, a real power of God, a real faith in the Word. And that is the confirmation, something that's anchored. How glorious, it confirms.

| E-26 Man looks for that. It's the nature of man. God made man that way. That's the way God made up a man. Now, so therefore, making up a man with that kind of a makeup, God does something to answer to that man's desire. God is a good God, as Oral Roberts has often remarked. He's a good God, but don't take that too far now. He's a just God too. He sure is. Don't take Him too good.
Like someone... A teen-age boy said not long ago, "God's so good He don't care what I do." Oh, yes, He does.
If disbelieving His Word, just--just misconstruing it one little iota, caused every heartache, every sickness, every death, every little baby that crying, dying, every graveyard... Because one person misbelieved just part of God's Word, it caused all of this trouble; don't think that we'll ever let one bit of it slip through again, and go in, disbelieving anything that God has promised.

E-27 S'Il apparaissait ici à l'estrade ce soir et me disait: "Va au cimetière présidentiel. | E-27 Therefore, I may not have faith, as I said, to walk like Enoch did: take an afternoon stroll and go home with God; but I wish I had that faith. But I'll never stand in somebody else's way, and make fun of them that's got that kind of faith. I will admire them, a man that's got a hold of that faith.
Now, faith. God told Abraham here, give him a promise, and then God confirmed this promise to him, give him an evidence by taking an oath before him. And the immutable thing is that God cannot lie. And not only that, when He promised him, then beyond that He swore to it: God taking an oath to Himself.
You've got to swear to someone greater than you, and there was no one to swear to greater than Himself. So He swore to Himself. And the promise was unto Abraham and ("and" is a conjunction) to his seed after him, not seeds; but his seed. And Christ is the Seed of Abraham. And we being in Christ, the Life of Christ in us makes us Abraham's children, and are heirs with him according to the promise.

| E-28 And Abraham, after he had received the promise, staggered not at the promise by unbelieving, but was strong, giving glory to God for twenty-five years. And it was an impossible thing almost, when he received the promise, 'cause he was seventy-five, and Sarah, his wife, was sixty-five. She was probably five or ten years past menopause. And he was seventy-five, and he was constantly giving praise to God, continually.
I hope you don't think it's sacrilegious, but I can just imagine now, Sarah being past time of womanhood, and he'd say, "Sarah," after the first twenty-eight days, "how you feeling, darling?"
"There's no difference."
"Glory to God, we're going to have the baby anyhow." See?
And the next twenty-eight days, "Anything happen, honey?"
"Not a thing."
"Glory to God, it'll be a greater miracle now, 'cause than it did if it happened last month. (See?) We're going to have it." 'Cause, because why? He believed God. He had a hold of something. He could take God at His Word. A hold, he could hold to God's promise.

Voyez, il doit se produire quelque chose qui vous donne cette - cette évidence, cette confirmation. Maintenant, si Dieu disait: "Il va pleuvoir le matin", il ne me serait pas difficile de prendre des dispositions pour la pluie, car je sais qu'il va pleuvoir. Eh bien, si nous pouvons changer cela en ayant une vision, ou entendre la Voix audible de Dieu... Mais pour changer cela en... Le moyen initial d'avoir la foi, c'est d'entendre la Parole écrite de Dieu. Maintenant, si Dieu vient au milieu de nous et se révèle à nous, nous donnant le Saint-Esprit, le parler en langues avec l'interprétation, envoyant des dons au milieu de nous, comme cela; ou la prophétie qui est donnée à un certain endroit, et qui dit une certaine chose, et qui fait une certaine chose et confirme cela maintes et maintes fois, et que cela ne faillit jamais, elle devra nous placer dans une position qui nous donnerait une prise sur cette Parole, et qui ne lâcherait pas. Cela devrait être une évidence juste là. Aussi longtemps que Dieu l'a dit, cela règle le problème. Voyez-vous?
| E-29 Now, we notice then as the year passed, nothing happened. Two years, still, "Glory to God." Sarah had the little booties made, and the little Birdeye, you know, and everything waiting. She was waiting because she knew that this baby was coming, 'cause God promised it.
And now we are supposed to be Abraham's seed, spiritually speaking, being in Christ. Now, we should take a hold of every promise of God, and cherish it as though it was already done; for when God has spoken, He can never take it back.

| E-30 Now, when God is brought to a decision... And the decision that God makes the first time has to ever remain the same, because He is infinite. He's perfect, and His decisions are perfect. Therefore, He cannot say, "I said that last year, but I know more about it this year." God is infinite God. He is perfect, and every decision He makes is perfect. He never has to alter it, because it's perfect to begin with. He never has to take it back.
Therefore, I can make a promise. I don't know. I have to take it back. But God doesn't do that. And if God was called on the scene to heal a man that was sick, and the basis that God healed that man on, He's got to forever keep that same thing.
When a man was lost, he was only one way He made a--a preparation to save that man. And on the basis He saved him, it still remains today: the shed blood. To heal a man was by faith. And that's the only way He heals today, is by faith to believe His Word. That's exactly right.

E-31 Mais avant qu'on puisse avoir un faux dollar, il doit y avoir un vrai dollar à partir duquel le faux a été fabriqué. Si ce n'est pas le cas, alors c'est le faux qui est l'original. Voyez-vous? Aussi sûr qu'il existe un faux, il doit y avoir un vrai à partir duquel cela a été fabriqué. Ainsi il existe un vrai Saint-Esprit, une vraie guérison divine, une vraie puissance de Dieu, une vraie foi dans la Parole. Et c'est cela la confirmation que quelque chose s'est ancré. Oh! combien c'est glorieux! c'est une confirmation.
| E-31 Now. So God after confirming... I wished we had time, but I made a promise. After God gave Abraham the promise, then He confirmed it to him by giving him circumcision. It was a sign, and it was in his flesh.
And now, I'm speaking to a mixed audience, but you regard me as your brother. Now, when Abraham, getting old and the Bible said that his body was as good as dead, he could look down to this sign in his flesh, and know that it was God's token that He'd keep His Word: circumcision. Look at that evidence, say, "God made the promise."
Sarah'd say, "But I'm ninety, and I'm far past any act of life."
But then Abraham could turn and look at the evidence that God said, "This is a token." And Abraham could give glory to God and be stronger than ever, because it was a token, a confirmation that God was going to grant it to him.

E-32 L'homme recherche cela. C'est la nature de l'homme. Dieu a créé l'homme ainsi. C'est ainsi que Dieu a créé l'homme. Eh bien, par conséquent, ayant créé l'homme avec cette sorte de nature, Dieu fait quelque chose pour répondre à ce désir de l'homme. | E-32 Now, He also promised that his children would sojourn and be in a strange land for four hundred years. And they were in this land for four hundred years, slaves, like dogs. Seemingly, God had turned His back. But it was according to His promise. He must keep His promise.
If they wanted to take one of those young Hebrew girls and--and ravish her, those Egyptian soldiers, they just did it. If they wanted to kill one of the sons, they just killed him. They'd throw out to him old molded bread, and they eat it or died. And they just slaves, and they were--they were burdened and beat down. And it seemed strange that God would permit a thing like that. But sometimes God does those things, acts in peculiar ways. But He always keeps His Word.

E-33 Si le fait de désobéir à Sa Parole, rien - rien que mal interpréter un petit iota, a causé chaque chagrin, chaque maladie, chaque mort, chaque petit enfant qui pleure, qui se meurt, chaque cimetière... Du fait qu'une seule personne a désobéi juste à une portion de la Parole de Dieu, cela a causé tout ce trouble, ne pensez pas que nous en laisserons passer un iota de nouveau et entrer, en désobéissant à tout ce que Dieu a promis.
| E-33 And when the time of the promise drew nigh, there came down out of the wilderness a prophet with THUS SAITH THE LORD, a Pillar of Fire circling him. And he come down and gave them the Word of the Lord, that He'd heard their cries, and remembered His promise, and each of those circumcised...
Now, He would remembered His promise. And so He told them that there was a land where they could raise their children. It was a beautiful land. It was a good land flowing with milk and honey, and there was no need of anything there. It was a precious land. Remember, none of them had ever been there. They knowed nothing of the land. But they had to act by faith to the promise, and they acted by faith. And they left Egypt under the leadership of God, and His prophet that was telling them of a better land.

| E-34 So they come up out of Egypt, and they came to a place called Kadesh-barnea. I believe it was along there that Joshua, a great warrior among them, went over to spy out the land. He crossed Jordan, and went over to the other land, and came back with the evidence that the land was good, that God's Word was perfect, His promises was true. And he had the evidence, the confirmation that the land was there. He had a hold of something, that the land was exactly what God promised it to be. Two men was packing a bunch of grapes. The people could taste of it and see that the land was good. It was a confirmation that God had kept His promise.

E-35 Maintenant, la foi. Dieu a parlé à Abraham ici, Il lui a donné une promesse, et ensuite Dieu lui a donné la confirmation de cette promesse, Il lui a donné une évidence en jurant devant lui. Vous devez jurer par un plus grand que vous-même, et il n'y avait pas un plus grand que Lui-même par lequel jurer. Ainsi Il jura par Lui-même. Et la promesse fut faite à Abraham et ("et" est une conjonction) à sa postérité après lui; pas les postérités, mais sa postérité. Et Christ est la Postérité d'Abraham. Et nous, étant en Christ, la Vie de Christ en nous fait de nous des enfants d'Abraham, et nous sommes héritiers avec Lui selon la promesse.
| E-35 Then Israel crossed the Jordan and went into the promised land, and Joshua divided up the lands for them. They were in peace. They were a nation. They had their churches. They planted their crops. They raised their children. They took them to church. And they lived happy. And God put fear in all the other nations of them, and they were a great people.
But finally, after so many years, they started making graveyards over there, because the old warriors of faith finally had to come down to the end of the road and die. And begin to come tombstones, and head markers, graveyards planted in this glorious land that God had promised them. They had to die, regardless of the good land they were in, the good fruits they were eating. But they had to die.

Other words, like this: "You have been loyal to the cause, but you have to die. But there is a land that a man lives and don't die. There is life after death." What a promise to the people. It was astounding, and it astonished many.

| E-37 But He came to His Kadesh-barnea. The judgment seat was Kadesh-barnea. And He came to Kadesh-barnea: Calvary, where upon Him bore the... He bore the sins of the world at Calvary.
But He crossed also the Jordan, that we call the Jordan of death. He went over into the other land and was dead for three days and nights. He died till the sun quit shining. He died till the earth had a nervous breakdown. It shook the rocks out of the mountains. He died. And on the third day He rose back again, with the evidence that there is a land where a man can live and not die. He returned back from that land. There is life after death.

What was it? It was the evidence that our Joshua, Jehovah-Saviour, had returned from the dead and given us a evidence that when we die we live again on the other side: confirmation, confirming, giving the evidence of it.

I said, "Unbelief." You do those things because you do not believe. If you believed, why then, you wouldn't do them. It's the attributes of unbelief. And righteousness is a attribute of faith, because you anchored in that faith: confirmation, evidence.

Oh, if that oughtn't to give you a hold on something, to see Him with that same evidence, that same faith that was once delivered to the saints, now in operation, doing the same things today that it always did. See the appearing of the Lord Jesus among us; and looking back, and see where we once were, and now where we are now. We were dead then, and now we're alive. And as sure as we are dead and buried with Him, we've raised with Him in the resurrection, for we've raised up from down there. Amen.

And I said, "To think that the God Who made the universe, the God Who made the solar system, Who made the heavens and the earth, and created them by His spoken word..."
Remember, a word is a thought expressed. God thought it. Then when He expressed it, it has to happen, for the world was framed by the Word of God. And things were made out of things that do not appear. It was God's Word. He thought it, and He spoke it, and it has to come to pass. It's a seed that's growing, and, marvelously, that has to bring forth its season.

Grant, tonight, that every believer might see it and be healed; and every unbeliever might have their eyes opened to the Presence of Jesus Christ, and a confirmation of your resurrection.
And the God that Joshua, our Joshua of the other land, Who came to us and met His Kadesh-barnea for all of us... And our Kadesh-barnea was there at the altar one night. Now, we are reckoned dead, and our lives are hid in Him, raised with Him in resurrection, setting at His right hand today in heavenly places. Grant, Lord, that the people's understanding may be opened. And we'll give Thee praise, in Jesus' Name.

"And we know assuredly that we're living in the day like Sodom and Gomorrah, for we see the evangelists in the world; and we are taught that the elect church is a pulled-out church, and separated from the world, or the things of the world. And I seen that same sign that He gave there, before the burning of Sodom, and it's a promise that He's going to burn the world pretty soon."
And then if God will do that, all you that's in Sodom flee as hard as you can. Come out to the church. "How is... What church?" The new born babes in Christ. There's only one church. And you don't join it; you're borned into it. And it--it's a new birth. May God answer prayer.

The Bible says in Hebrews 4, that the Word of God is sharper than a two-edged sword, dividing asunder the marrow of the bone, and a discerner of the thoughts of the heart.

She's praying for her mother. Her mother isn't here. Do you believe God can tell me what's wrong with your mother? Would you believe then, with all your heart? She has heart trouble. That's... If that's right, raise up your hand. Now, when you go, find her well. Amen. Do you believe?

All the sheep and cattle that stood around the sides of the walls, they all went out in the field, and stood around holding against one another, kind of leaning like this, against one another, making shade for each other.
Why? There was an instinct. Something told them that there was an earthquake coming. The earthquake shook those walls down. If they'd have stayed in there, they would've perished. But now, after the earthquake was over, they come back to the walls again that were standing up.

E-72 Et nous savons sans le moindre doute que nous vivons dans le jour semblable à celui de Sodome et Gomorrhe, car nous voyons les évangélistes de par le monde; et on nous a enseigné que l'Eglise élue, c'est une Eglise qui est sortie, et qui s'est séparée du monde, ou des choses du monde. Et j'ai vu le même signe qu'Il a manifesté là, avant que Sodome soit brûlée, et il est promis qu'Il va brûler le monde très bientôt.

Elle est en train de prier pour sa mère. Sa mère n'est pas ici. Croyez-vous que Dieu peut me révéler le problème de votre mère? Croirez-vous alors, de tout votre coeur? Elle est cardiaque. C'est... Si c'est vrai, levez la main. Maintenant, quand vous vous en irez, vous la trouverez bien portante. Amen. Croyez-vous?
Maintenant, dans cette rangée, priez et dites: "Seigneur Dieu, ce petit prédicateur qui se tient là ne me connaît pas, mais Toi Tu me connais. Et je touche Ton vêtement. Accorde-le-moi, Seigneur, accorde-le-moi."

Une réprimande du Saint-Esprit: lorsque quelque deux cents mains ou plus ont été levées il y a quelques instants, et lorsque j'ai fait l'appel à l'autel, environ trois cents personnes sont sorties, allant dans une autre direction, et un petit garçon, deux d'entre eux sont venus et se sont agenouillés ici à côté. Vous parlez de Sodome et Gomorrhe, vous parlez d'un jour du jugement qui approche, lorsque Dieu dans Sa miséricorde montre tout ce qu'Il peut faire, et les gens sont tellement endurcis à l'Evangile qu'ils sortent carrément de la Présence du Saint-Esprit!
Vous direz: "Ce n'étaient pas eux les gens..." Oui. C'était des gens qui devraient venir. Si je sais ce que ceci représente, je sais ce que cela représentait. Certainement. Le Saint-Esprit a été extrêmement attristé. Et il se peut que vous l'ayez fait pour votre dernière fois. J'espère que non. Mais il se peut que vous ayez fait cela pour la dernière fois. C'est de la part du Seigneur. Et souvenez-vous-en simplement; je ne suis pas un charlatan; je ne suis pas un fanatique. Je sais exactement où je me tiens, et de quoi je parle.

E-83 Il n'est pas étonnant que nous ne puissions pas avoir de réveils. Il n'est pas étonnant que Los Angeles et le reste du monde soient en route vers l'enfer. Il n'est pas étonnant que vous soyez bons pour une bombe atomique. Vous petits enfants, pelotonnez-vous à côté de la croix et restez là.

E-84 L'heure est proche. Il n'y a pas longtemps, je suis allé à Bombay, en Inde. J'ai pris un journal, et il y était dit: "Le signe du tremblement de terre est terminé." Deux ou trois jours avant que le tremblement de terre n'ait lieu, tous les petits oiseaux avaient fui leurs nids faits dans les murs de pierre. Toutes les brebis et le bétail qui se tenaient de part et d'autre des murs, étaient tous allés dans le champ, et y étaient restés, se tenant les uns contre les autres, s'appuyant en quelque sorte comme ceci les uns contre les autres, faisant de l'ombre les uns pour les autres.

E-85 Pourquoi? Il y avait un instinct. Quelque chose leur avait dit qu'un tremblement de terre venait. Ce tremblement de terre a écroulé les murs. S'ils étaient restés là, ils auraient péri. Mais maintenant, après que le tremblement de terre est terminé, ils sont rentrés de nouveau aux murs qui étaient restés encore debout.

E-86 Maintenant, permettez-moi de vous dire, ami, que ce Dieu de Moïse qui a pu les faire entrer dans l'arche, a pu les éloigner des murs. Et si Dieu, par un instinct dans un oiseau, a pu les mettre hors du danger, à combien plus forte raison ne devrait-Il pas mettre hors du danger l'homme qui est inspiré par le Saint-Esprit? Quelle chose mauvaise! Quelle génération adultère! Quel mauvais endroit que celui dans lequel nous vivons! Quelle nation impie et immonde nous avons: elle a abandonné Dieu, elle a Dieu en horreur, des chercheurs de signes, des cavaliers de chars, des musiciens, des imitateurs, des imitations charnelles. Ils sont conduits par un groupe de nullités, qui sont arrivés à la fin de la route. Je le dis au Nom du Seigneur. Je ferai l'appel une fois de plus. C'est à vous de répondre. Très bien.
